O2 UK BIS email status

Is anyone else experiencing problems with using email on O2 BIS ? My husband has had problems for a while but we assumed that it was down to poor mobile network coverage where he works but I have tried mine and that doesn't seem to be working either.
I've also tried to sign in to the O2 email setup online via my PC and it keeps telling me the accounts don't exist etc.
I'm wondering if there is an outage either local or national. We live in UK dialling code area 01255 and my husband works in 01206 area if that's any help.

  • Bypass manual email status update in Agent Inbox

    hello,
    I have a service class that automatically and successfully creates a Service Request from Email although it does not update email status in Agent Inbox.
    my situation is very similar to this one.
    [CRM ERMS workbench & Agent inbox status difference;
    although the answer provided does not really solve the problem.
    My knowledge in ABAP does not really extend to workflow so please do correct me if i'm saying things wrong.
    So here's the scenario:
    Task A that processes the ERMS rule completes task (service class)
    Task B waits for the user's decision before execution so we have to manually update email status to 'Completed' in Agent Inbox.
    Our approach is to search for a way to bypass this decision part so the workflow can continue.
    Has anyone encountered this before? Can you give me suggestions? Thanks.

  • Why does my BIS emails always appear on one line?

    I use a Blackberry Storm 9500 and have started using the BIS email account but when I reply (or reply to all or forward) emails the text I send always appears on one line regardless of the punctuation I use.
    This includes my email signature.
    Has anyone resolved this issue?

    Look through the email account that is your default for sending. Make sure that you have set the correct outgoing mail server.

  • "Reply To" option missing from OS5 BIS Email setup?

    Hi all. I wonder you can help with a slight issue I've come across. I've been setting up a device for one of our users here in the office. We've upgraded him from his old Bold 9000 (running OS 4.7 I think) to a new Bold 9700 (running the latest revision of OS 5). The device is dual provisioned and has both a corporate BES account and a personal BIS account set up. Both are working for sending and receiving email without issue. The issue I have is that within the BIS email settings on the old device, one could go in to Edit the setting and add a 'Reply-To' address, so that replies would default back to an address other than the one sent with. This option is completely missing on this OS 5 device I have, although all other options are present and correct. The BIS settings now seem to be configured via an onboard application rather than a browser based display previously, so I'm not sure if RIM have just omitted this functionality or not. Does anyone else see this same behaviour? I've contacted the carrier who advised deleting all Service Books (which I did), and they then resent them all. This made no difference to this issue. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

    Sorry for the delay responding...even though your post is a bit old, it still deserves a reply...
    Availability of Reply-To in the BIS configuration continues to exist. However, it indeed does appear to have been removed from the BB interface. However, I don't think this is a function of the BB device OS -- rather, it's more likely a function of the version of BIS. There have been upgrades to that going on, so perhaps it has been upgraded by your carrier. It could be a combination of both (BIS version and device OS version)...but it's moot anyway...if it's not an available field on the device interface to BIS, then it's not available.
    I do know that, at least with my carrier, I can still get to that field via my carriers web interface. From a PC/browser, simply find your carriers BIS site via this portal:

    As long as your carrier has not eliminated the web interface, you should still be able to get to it, log into your BIS account, and configure for Reply-To.

  • BIS email very slow in mornings?

    I have two BIS email accounts set up on my Blackberry - been working perfectly for months, and I've not changed anything recently.
    Yesterday morning when I switched the device on, I didn't receive any emails for over two hours, despite there being at least 20 on my ISP's POP3 account.  Then just before 9:00am, they were all received by the device.  Today the same happened again - no emails for ages, then suddenly they were all received.  I have a good GPRS signal, haven't changed any settings since it was working - and after about 9:00am, it seems to work well all day again.
    I'm on O2, in the UK.   Edit:  O2's technical support line just told me that the problem might be that BIS email is copied across manually, so it might not get done until someone comes in at 9:00am - which gives you some idea what O2's customer service is like that someone might actually think that.
    Anyone else having problems?

    I have the exact same problem with BIS being very slow to retrieve mail in the mornings.
    I set my Blackberry to automatically "shut off" at 11 pm. 
    At 4:30 am it automatically turns on.
    The last three days I have had delays ranging from 30 minutes to two hours before any of my email would download.
    I'm using a Blackberry Bold on AT&T with integration to Google Apps For Domain.
    PS - I've previously used this setup extensively on a Blackberry 8320 without a hitch so I'm very familiar with normal operations -- and this definitely is NOT it.
    During the daytime everything seems to flow normally, though I do see the odd email or two that comes in very delayed.
    Furthermore, in the morning my [email protected] account will send/receive no problem or delay.
    My GMAIL based account will send no problem -- it is the receiving that is delayed.
    I've tried:
    1. Battery Pull (no luck)
    2. Re-send service books - this doesn't result in immediate email recovery though I have seen the activation email come through with one stray GMAIL -- then nothing for about an hour until suddenly BIS opens up and my GMAIL comes down in one big bunch.

  • Problems forwarding BIS email please help !!

    I have finally decided to change from my 9930 to my new Q10
    I tried going to the forwarding website and filled in all the information and where I wanted it forwarded to but it keeps coming up with "username and password don't match"
    So I am confused ??
    Do I de-activate my 9930 BEFORE I attempt to forward my email ??
    If I do that will I be able to use my PC to go to the forwarding page to forward my emails ??
    Lastly I can't do anything b/c it is saying that my email password doesn't match my BB email but I am positive it does !! I actually went into the BIS email site with my password and changed the password to a new one because my old password was from such a long time ago it didn't have any upper/lower case and numbers so I changed it to a new one that had the required format..
    I still am getting the same message from the forwarding page
    Can someone please help me ?? Do I need to deactivate my old device first before it will accept my forward request ??

    Your BIS account emails with Verizon, please look over this Knowledge Base article. Is this what you're using to setup the BIS email forwarding to your new Q10?

    To answer your question, no you do not have to deactivate email on your 9930, however, your new Q10 does not use BIS email, but a normal generic data plan. However, IF Verizon has changed that BIS data plan to a generic data plan it might have already disabled your BIS account login.

  • Email status icon stuck

    Hi all.  I just started a new plan with Sprint last Friday, and purchased a BB Curve 8330m (red, not that it matters but it's really easy on the eyes). I've been a windows mobile guy for years...still am with my work line (Samsung Omnia/Verizon)....but I really like the BB experience so far.
    Anyway, on to the problem.
    I setup my various email accounts; 1 hotmail, 1 yahoo, 1 gmail.  Everything went smoothly with the setup, but now I'm having an issue with my email status icon.  I noticed the icon would always show 1 email.  I went to each account and marked prior as read, still the 1 notification.  I went back in and deleted prior from each account, still showed 1 on the icon.  I went through all call lists and facebook app, marked everything read then deleted. Still have the icon showing 1 email.  After looking a little closer I realized when I hover on the hotmail icon it showed (1), but when opened there was nothing in there.  So I deleted my hotmail account and restarted the phone but still have the icon.  Since then I deleted all 3 accounts, and re-added them and I still have this 1 email notification.  AGGHHH.
    So I'm out of ideas at this point, short of a full reset of the phone.  I just thought I'd ask here before wiping it.  Is there just something I'm missing?

  • SCOT: When email status error, send email to sender

    Hello everyone
    I would like to know if it is possible to configure SCOT to send an email to the sender when an email ending as error.
    Here is the scenario.
    1. An email is sent through scot.
    2. SCOT process the email and comeback with an error. Example msg 841 (message too long)
    3. So, when the email status is an error, an email should be sent to the sender to advise him of the problem.
    So, the sender will be able to act quickly and perform corrective action.
    Any idea on how to configure this?

    Here is some speudo code:
    Select all record from SOST table where MSGTY = 'E'   " Message type Error
                                                                     and entry_date = sy-datlo
                                                                     and entry_time is between now and 15 minutes ago.
       select al record from SOOS where corresponding to SOST.
                   field SOOS-sndnam correspond to the sender of the message.
        The table SOOD contain the title of the email (Field "OBJDES" )
    When you have all those records.
    you can send an email to the sender.

    The application is: to move the end effector as a function of an
    analog feedback signal, avoiding auto-collision (like moving a robot
    with a joystick).
    The problem is that the signal is correlated to
    the motor displacements via a unlinear process so the control board
    cannot be configured using that signal. I have to measure the signal
    and to calculate on the fly the velocities of the motor that make the
    end effector follows the feedback signal. I need to optimize the
    "control loop" in order to avoid vibrations, jitter and to permit the
    PXI to make other things like data communication with other pc in the
    network. Another important issue is the critical routine for
    auto-collision avoiding: the robot must stop as soon as particular
    combination of axes position occurs.
    It's incredible, I
    spent so much time in optimizing the kinematic calculations (a 9x9
    non-linear sistem of equations solved in 2ms) and now I see that the
    critical routine is the communication between PXI-controller and motion
    controller!!!
    (I know that the best solution would be to
    build a motion controller by myself using a NI-FPGA device, but I
    really don't know how to implement a matrix inversion calculation on a
    FPGA processor...)

  • P6 R8.2 Email Status Update - how to  turn off logging?

    I have just got the email status update application running on our demo environment and have set it to poll for updates every 30 seconds so that we can have the system respond without waiting a long time. At the moment this means that it is generating about 10 lines of output into the log file every 30 seconds.
    I just want to have this running the whole time and would like to turn off the logging now I have it working - has anyone managed to do this? I am assuming that the app is using log4j wrapped in Apache commons logging but it looks as if the log settings are defined in the code - I have tried creating a log properties file in the lib folder (ie the classpath) containing a rootLogger=OFF statement but it just seems to be ignored.
    All suggestions welcome!

  • Why does my BIS email appear on one line regardless of punctuation?

    Can anyone help?
    I am using a BB Storm 9500 and wanting to use BIS email to receive and send my work emails.
    Unfortunately, when I reply (to one or all) or forward emails the text appears in one continuous line regardless of the punctuation I use.
    The signature also appears on one line despite having put paragraphs in.
    PLEASE HELP THIS IS DRIVING ME MADE.

    The BlackBerry ONLY sends email messages using text format, since and easy, with HTML.
    Different email readers, like Outlook, can designate to view it's recevied email in plain text only. I am guessing your email reader in Lotus might treating the received messages as having soft returns in the body, or something like that.
    I really don't know, I have seen something like you indicate, but rarely and it never bothered me.

    I replace my old blackberry with BB Q10 and using BIS configuration for Microsoft Exchange Online Offce 365 Email setup.
    I use to check tocheck my email both on Microsoft Outlook as well as in my BB Q10.
    My requirement to keep the email as Unread in my Oulook which i already read in my BB Q10. In my old blackberry i was able to achieve this by Turing OFF my WIRELESS RECONCILLATION option in Email option setup. 
    I need you help to achieve this setting in my new Q10 blackbrry for my business email accounts.

    The Q10 is not using BIS any longer, and if you read the message, the "read" state of the message will sync to your Outlook.

    I'm working at Solution Manager 7.0 SP16. I've configured and working Service Desk scenario and it works. Now I'm trying configure automatic email at status change of messages, but It doesn't work
    I'm following spro transaction, and SAP Note 691393. I am configuring Service Desk Specific Scenario Settings -> Automatic Email at status change.
    I've checked:
    - SCOT is correctly configured and working OK.
    - Business partners emails are mantained.
    I made the configuration suggested as described SAP Note 691303 SAP Tutor. Following SAP Tutor I go to transaction sppfcadm->select crm_order->botton "define action profile and actions"->Action Profile(left view) and SLFN0001_ADVANCED(right view)->mode change->new entry...   I follow the next slides at SAP Tutor.
    At the end, when I check results, I go to the support message (transaction crm_dno_monitor) to edit-> Fast Entry->service process->status->In process and I press button save. So I go to Transaction data->Actions but any about the send mail action

At the end I have:

  • BIS, Email and BBm abroad on a PAYG sim?

    Hi All, currently on UK Orange carrier. Leaving the country for the foreseeable future. So am buying myself out of my contract but keeping my Curve. Want to take it with me to Thailand and continue using it. I can get it unlocked by Orange which is fine. My question is this:
    Can i pay for internet service and email/BBM etc  monthly straight to blackberry and can i then continue using my phone on a normal Pay As You Go simcard that i'll buy when i'm out there? If so, how do i go about setting up payment straight to RIM?

    I don't know any companies that offer the BIS BlackBerry Internet Service without voice, as the SIM card in the device is part of the connection to the device to register the Data Plan on the device. Does that make sense?
    Several carriers around the world do offer PAYGO voice and Blackberry Data Plans. However I don't know which carrier you are looking at in what countries.  Say you were traveling to Thailand, you would need to investgate those carriers ahead of time.
