OAF pages appears Inconsistent After Apps Services are restart

Hi All,
I am facing an issue in many instances and this occurs many times.
Whenever I restart apps services the OAF pages appeared weird Inconsistent as you can see in the below image

In order to correct it i have to restart application services two, three or more times than only it becomes normal.

I know this is weird and makes it hard to read.

And also you have to make sure that the client browser's cache is deleted after executing steps in the above document.

Just thought I'd add my solution, I decided to go with WebDAV and I think it actually works better than the iTunes way, the steps are pretty much the same but avoiding the iTunes interface just makes things easier and faster.
I followed this guide but it does have a small mistake in the httpd-dav.conf file, on line 2, where it's WebServer/WebDAV">, it should be <Directory "/Library/WebServer/WebDAV">.
The tricky part is setting permissions which if wrong will give you errors when connecting with the iPad, I opted to set all to Read&Write since my home network has a hardware firewall. Another convenience was to add an alias to the webdav share on the Desktop.
I'm still expecting the call from Apple but even if they fix the iTunes I'm sticking with WebDAV, atleast until I see what's new with iOS5 and iCloud this fall which should bring true sync for documents (I'm hoping that they will offer encryption with my own keys, if not, then I'll probably keep using WebDAV).

EBS URL 12.1.3 cannot display web page though apps services are up. This target instance is SSL enabled and cloned instance. Autoconfig runs successfully on both the tiers.
1 DB node and 1 apps Node(forms,Reports,CM,Web).

Same App Store updates continue to appear even after apps are updated?

Why does the App Store continue to say that apps need to be updated after they have been updated?
iBooks Author, Network Strength, TerraRay,iArt Pro, All have been updated yet every time I open App Store it shows the same Apps need to be updated.
How can I fix this problem? Step by step insturctions would be greatly appreciated. THANKS in advance.

Try deleting the cache associated with the App Store.
Quit the App Store app if it's open.
Go to ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.appstore/Cache.db
Move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
Launch the App Store. See if that helped...
~ (Tilde) character represents the Home folder.
For Lion: To find the Home folder in OS X Lion, open the Finder, hold the Option key, and choose Go > Library

XML Publisher Integration: OAF Page in invalid after PDF creation

after days of googling and trying out various code changes in vain I hope to find help in this forum.
The requirement is to extend the shipment page PosAsnMainPage in iSupplier Portal, adding the creation and download of PDF shipping documents for the orders selected in the table. These documents can be created for multiple shipments at once, always resulting in exactly one PDF file.
To achieve this, I have added a button to the page that triggers the event "XxpoPrintShippingDocuments". In the controller class that extends the standard iSupplier Portal Controller, I have extended processFormRequest as follows:

Most of this works just fine - I select some orders on the standard iSP page, press the button and download the PDF file. But after that, the page is not "valid" any longer: the selections made are still visible but when a button is pressed (for instance the Create Shipment Notice or my own button), I get an error stating that items must be selected first.
If I deactivate the lines in outputFile that set the response or flush the output stream, I can further use the previously made selections and everything works fine - except I don't get the PDF I need, obviously.
Does anyone have an idea of what is missing here to reload the page or anything? Is there any workaround (i.e. opening the file downlad in a separate browser tab)?
I'd be grateful for any advice on this. If you wish any further information, please let me know.

I cannot click on any links the first 1/4 of the page in Firefox, after a certain area then I am able to click on hyperlinks.

Firefox has been working great, until I booted this morning. The first part of the page below the toolbar, about 1/4, if there are any search fields or hyperlinks I am unable to select those. After a certain point. only then am I able to make selections,chat, or anything else that requires a selection. All other browsers work fine.

Both the Yahoo! Toolbar extension and the Babylon extension have been reported to cause an issue like that. Disable or uninstall those add-ons.

you must have missed this file while moving it to the server 'xxramesh.oracle.apps.ak.xxramesh.server.rameshAM'. Try moving the .class file under your JDevHome to the server under $JAVA_TOP.

Mail set up page appears on email app and is frozen

Hello,
I have read through several threads. Somehow, along the way, my email app froze. When I open the app, I get the frozen set up screen list with all clients. It does not help to close and re-open the app. I cannot remove the app. I have rebooted the ipad, I have reset the ipad. I have shut off the ipad. Email was working just fine and suddenly this... ??? Help.

How To-set DFF to null and Not required in OAF page ??

enabled service dff, added 2 segments. i want them displayed in service request oaf pages.
details of dff-
Application=Service , title = Additional Information for Agents
in context field region : unchecked required and displayed
In global data elements - added 2 segments based on value set(validation type = independent, list type = poplist)
displayed and enabled checkbox are checked for both the segments.
I want to be able to do two things
1.in HTML service request agentdashboard- the 2 new dffs are displayed correctly as drop down lists. I can pick and save a value to those mapped columns.
but the two drop downs are REQUIRED. I do not want them to be. how can I make them un-required.
--while personalizing this flexfield elemnt from oaf page - I did not have the attribute-required to be unset.
2. I want a default blank value in both the drop down list.
I tried to add a nullvalue in valueset ,but its not letting me. can i do that ??
any pointers please.

Integrating XML Publisher into an OAF page

Hello,
I'm pretty to new to both OAF and XML Publisher...hoping someone can help me out. I created an OAF page that uses oracle.apps.xdo.oa.common.DocumentHelper to display a PDF. I created my Data Definition and Template, and tested that using concurrent manger.
When I display my OAF page and click a button to view the PDF, the page does not show the PDF. However, when I click on the export button it opens a new window and I can view the PDF no problem.
So I know the XML Publisher document is working, but why doesn't it display in the page?
We are on 11.10.2 applications and 5.6.3 XML Publisher.

Blank page appearing in ESS

Hi Experts,
We are using ESS and want to display tax details for Thailand for all the employees. But when we open the page it is showing only the blank page. Rest all the services are working fine.

Hi Shrikant, also check that the resource asociated to the app is pointing to the correct page in Portal (that is compare the 'url of pcd page' property from resource with 'pcd location' property in Portal's page).
Due to some issue during installation in backend, some resources can have blank values in 'url of pcd page' property.
When you see a blank page caused by an error, you can read the Portal's log for the error details. Ask with your Portal guy for open and read the log.

Startup class is run before web services are deployed

Hello, I need to run a class at server start-up which uses web services deployed on the same Weblogic server.
I'm using Weblogic startup class, which fires after the server is up and all modules have been deployed.
However, it is fired before web services are deployed, so this solution doesn't work.
Is there a way to have a class that is run by Weblogic after web services are deployed?
Right now I'm using a timer that polls the server till the services are up and running, but I hope there's a cleaner way.

Looking at the logs, the following came to light.
1. My app does get deployed last, but the ServletContextListener in my app is fired after all modules "...transitioned from STATE_PREPARED to STATE_ADMIN".
It took a few more seconds for all modules to transition "from STATE_ADMIN to STATE_ACTIVE".
2. After all modules transitioned to STATE_ACTIVE, the log shows this:
<Channel "DefaultSecure" is now listening on xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:443 for protocols iiops, t3s, ldaps, https.>
I assume that only at this point are web services accessible. The error that I get when trying to invoke a web service from ServletContextListener is:
java.net.ConnectException: Tried all: 1 addresses, but could not connect over HTTPS to server: RLOCVGVY91 port: 443
at weblogic.net.http.HttpsClient.openServer(HttpsClient.java:289)
So I dunno... If my ServletContextListener waits for 10 seconds, everything works.

Windows Time source resets after service/server restart

We have two completely separate domains. Our main domain has 4 DCs: the PDCe is looking to an outside source for its time source and the other 3 DCs are looking to the PDCe for their time source. The second domain, our DMZ, is setup the exact
same way. The PDCe is looking to an outside source for time and the other 3 DCs are looking to the PDCe for their time. If the Windows Time service is restarted or the server is restarted (during patching, for example), the time source changes
from the outside address to "Local CMOS Clock". From there, everything else will get thrown off. And now that I think of it, they might also revert to "Local CMOS Clock" after the service is restarted.
I configured the PDCe using the following command, which completes successfully:
w32tm /config /manualpeerlist:0.pool.ntp.org /syncfromflags:manual /reliable:yes /update
I can then run w32tm /query /status and confirm the setting is correct, but if I do the recommended "net stop..." and "net start..." commands, it will revert to "Local
CMOS Clock". If I leave it alone and the server reboots, it will again revert. This problem does not exist in our main domain. I have the appropriate rights and I don't see anything in the event logs that would indicate what the problem
is. Thoughts?

so the first thing is that only your PDCe should be going out to the internet (or another reliable NTP source) to get the time and that's done with:
w32tm /config /manualpeerlist:0.pool.ntp.org /syncfromflags:manual /reliable:yes /update
all your other DCs then go to the PDCe to get their time and we do that with:
w32tm /config /syncfromflags:domhier /update
so when you say you tested it on "test DC", you need to ensure the right settings are being pushed relevant to that DC's role and I'm not really certain about this test environment you have here
reading up on this, it all keeps going back to VMs doing time sync with the host, GPOs, scheduled tasks, or startup scripts
you can check the Systems event logs though, there will be messages in there stating why it reverted back to local cmos. it might do it if it can't reach the time source you specified and that part is normal but you need to check the logs first. even a successful
time sync message will help eliminate some of the causes
I think unregistering/registering the service starting with your PDCe should make it stick, as long as it can actually communicate with "0.pool.ntp.org". to verify this and to make sure UDP port 123 is open, run "w32tm /stripchart /computer:0.pool.ntp.org"
- if you get a time chart then communication is fine but if you get something else then you may have problems hitting that source and it's reverting back to cmos.
