OAM File and Scroll effects Not AutoPlaying in Muse

I placed an OAM file in muse which contained a slideshow ( slideshow is a basic slideshow provided by muse ) and i noticed that it doesn't work when i activate the edge animate scroll effects. The autoplay function does not work, nor does the "advance 1 second every pixel" function. This is a big one, i really need this effect to work. Otherwise edge animate is pretty useless without it. Somebody please help. Thanks

I have spent the last two or three days trying to do what you suggested. I uninstalled Adobe 6 from Windows. Some files that CS6 placed on my system during installation remained, including fonts and .dll files.
I had to abandon the Cleaner Tool you suggested because in one screen it allowed me to specify removing CS6 only, but on the following screen it only gave on option to remove ALL Adobe programs. I could not do that because I didn't have the serial number handy for CS3 in case I want to reinstall it at some point.
I tried to get technical help with the Cleaner Tool problem but no definitive help was available, so I reinstalled CS6 again without having the benefit of the Cleaner Tool. I tried to get the serial number for CS3 so I could use the Cleaner Tool but spent 2 wasted hours in chat. Even though I had a customer number, order number, order date, place of purchase, the email address used AND 16 digits of the serial number, in two hours the agent couldn't give me the serial number. After two hours I had nothing but instructions to wait another 20 minutes for a case number.
Illustrator CS6 is still trying to open some backups as Text and otherNone of the problems have been fixed. I have tried to open/use the .ai files in CS6 installed on another system and am getting the same result, so I don't think the software was damaged by the cleaner. The hard drive cleaner is well-known and I've run it many times without any problem to previous versions of Illustrator or any other programs.
When I ordered, the sale rep promised good technical support and gave me an 800 number, but after I paid the $2000, I learned that the 800 number she gave me doesn't support CS6 and hangs up on me. Adobe doesn't call it a current product even though they just sold it to me about 3 weeks ago.
Would appreciate any help you experts can offer. If I can't solve this, the last backup I can use was from June and I will have lost HUNDREDS of hours of work and assets that I cannot replace.

Aperture ate my picture files and they are not recoverable. The guy at the Genius Bar told me to Trash the App, empty Trash, then go to Purchases and reinstall. But Purchases says it is "Installed" so it does not let me download it again. HELP!!!!

I typed Aperture into Spotlight and sure enough it did show up.
It looks like it is supposed to be in Apps.
But it is not there.
So I clicked on the spotlight Aperture and it opened up the App!!!!
But I do not know where it is to move it!
How can I find it?
While Aperture is running and you are seeing it in the Dock, ctrl-click (or right click) the Dock icon.
You will see a contextual menu. Click on "Options", then select "Show in Finder".
And check the "keep in Dock" mark, so you will not lose it from the Dock.

If you are having the same problem, i.e. a disk permission problem, open your favorite search engine and search on, "change disk permissions", and I think you'll find plenty of information on how to fix the problem. This is a Lightroom forum. Your problem is with your operating system. There is no sense in rewriting instructions that are already available if you do a simple search.

I get the exactly the same problem with win 7, i rang apple support who suggested i try another machine/or create another account on my machine???? why should i, stupid ipad 3rd gen is now sitting here un syncable, apple support ....tut tut very poor support, its a shame im out of the 7 day period otherwise this ipad would be going straight back, older versions of itunes worked fine, some one must know a fix for this??

I have a folder and 3 files stuck on my desktop. When I drag them to the trash I am asked to enter my administrator's password. I do this but the files and folder will not delete. I have checked 'Get Info' on each of them and they are not locked?

I don't think you're on iOS 5, I think you're using iOS 6. That's the latest version.
Unless you've used iCloud to back up your documents, you won't be able to restore them. And for future reference, you don't have to uninstall Pages to update your iPad anymore. Sorry about this.

Strange issue - XI somtimes process a file and sometimes its not detected

Dear friends,
We have a strange problem. Ill describe the situation:
We have a simple file to file scenario without any mapping or File Content Conversion. Daily a sender system puts a ZIP file on a server and XI processes this file.
The strange thing is that XI sometimes processes this file and sometimes its not detected at all. After our analysis we come to conclusion that its not random.
We have looked at almost everything. We have checked the:
File name;
Size of the messages.
Authorisation;
Users that are assigned to the processing job.
Has anyone experienced the same problem or does anyone has a suggestion?

1. what is your Polling Interval of your Sender Agreement ? Once a day ? every 60s ? etc...
because you say that your Legacy put the file Daily.
Answer: The polling Interval is 400 seconds and Modification Check is 400000 Msecs
2. Are you sure that your Legacy does not put the file after or during the XI adapter try to catch it?
Answer: No Because Modification Check works perfectly and we get alerts if the file is modify during the process.
3. Does your filename is always the same ?
4. or Have you a filename which can changed and which is case sensitve (lowercase and uppercase).
Answer: It has always the same name and It starts with O2C.zip
5. What are the size of your failed file?
Maybe it's too big and maybe you have a timeout somewhere (for instance into the adapter log)
Answer: It's not too big, it varies from 20 MB to 100 MB and we know that we can process files up to 700 MB
As I told before we have checked everything. Its very strange...
Do you have any other suggestion?

Took backup of data files and controlfile but not archive file db is 11g xe

anyway to restore the db back..
I had failed to backup redo log file..
db was shut...properly

A controlfile create is a fairly trivial task, for either a cold backup or hot backup scenario. Well, its an easy task after you've done the process a few times.
If you have a healthy oracle instance running any place else, preferably at 11gR2, or even a 10g instance can work as an example, get a system connection and do an `alter database backup controlfile to trace;` and the instance will create a new trace file with all SQL commands needed to rebuild the controlfile in the instance trace directory.
Have a look at the trace file, a `show parameter diag` reveals the diagnostic_dest parameter, look for the "trace" directory under that folder, for the latest *trc file. In 10g its `show parameter dump` and the trace file goes straight to the user_dump_dest directory, no digging required.

Help please? When using USB to connect to my ibook the phone gives me this message: "Coneced as Storage Device: Some file and applications are not accessible". I then go to my desktop and search through my phone to find no files not to mention not showing up in iTunes. Could someone please help?

I am having a similar problem.
My RoKr was connecting and syncing properly until I performed the latest software upgrade (which upgraded both iTunes and iSync). After the upgrade my phone does not show up either in iTunes or on the desktop. When I plug the phone it indicates that it is connecting as a storage device and some file/applications will not be accessible. However the phone does not appear on the desktop or in iTunes. When I go into iSync the phone is only recognized via bluetooth, the USB connection is not detected.
I remain tuneless and await a solution...

1. Sync wasn't intended to be used in that manner. You would be better off carrying around a USB Flash Stick with Portable Firefox for use on "strange" PC's.
2. You could open the "Library" {Ctrl + Shift + B} and highlight all those bookmarks and then delete them all at once. But that would also delete all the other bookmarks, and it isn't foolproof. All another person would need to do it to '''''restore''''' a bookmark backup file that has your bookmarks. Beyond that, a new Profile could be created and then the current Profile deleted; but that's "messing with" someone else's computer - an action that is worthy of terminating a friendship over, IMO.
And if that "public" computer was set up properly, Sync should have been disabled.

What would cause an OAM file placed in InDesign not to show up in Adobe Viewer?

I have created an OAM file using edge animate. The file works perfectly when I preview it in the browser through edge. I placed it in indesign and added the timing to start automatically on page load.
I have many other OAM files on other pages that I have done exactly the same way and they all work perfectly. BUT this time it just won't play and when you open the page in the viewer. In fact, it is not there at all. It's just blank.
Does anyone know what can cause this?
PLEASE HELP I have tried every thing.

Hey Angel,
Are you using the desktop or the iPad viewer? The desktop one can be a bit wonky sometimes, try it out on the device first and see if you're still seeing the problem.

Scroll effects not working on laptop

The scroll effects I'm working on for my website work perfectly fine on my desktop, but when working on my laptop they do not work at all.

Sometimes I open Muse and they work perfectly then I'll come back alter and they're not working at all.
