OAM1 - Archive requested - awaiting confirmation

Hi
When trying to archive a printlist, it is failing with the message "Archive requested - awaiting confirmation".
I am not very familiar with OAM1 transaction and this setup, but is there anyone who can tell me where to look for this issue?

Thank you. As I am not very familiar with this transaction; what type of logs were you thinking of and how to find them?
What I see is that the file is accessible (have checked it on the server), but the message is still in the "Asynchronous Requests" section with status "No Confirmation Found".
The RFC towards archive works fine and it looks like the archive has been requested, but not returned a confirmation. I have also asked the archive area to look into it.
As it is not possible to reprocess manually, I also suspect that the archive is not sending out any confirmation, but maybe it could also be related to the SAP application?

Archive: OAM1 awaiting confirmation

Hi experts,
I've the following problem.
In OAM1 I have around 7000 lines with the status "Asynchronous request started; awaiting confirmation".
Archive is ok.
We checked OAC0 (connection test) and we can save all other things into the archive from sap (example orders) and also open them.
Followed you can find the log of one of those lines.
I couln't find any thing to the return code (360) and also nothing in OSS and google.
Thx in advance for any tipp.

Hi,
I've similar problem with print list archiving. I also noticed the message: "File Cannot Be Accessed From This Application Server" oin Async requests. On the other hand, I've got "Content Repository Reports Ok" in confirmation queue. Worst of all, is that there is constant message "Queue CARA is already locked for processing" in the Storage queue and the OAM1 even hungs sometimes.
Do you have any idea how to troubleshoot this locked CARA please? Thank you

Problem in activation of ODS 0SD_O06 due to Archiving request.

Hi Experts,
I am having a problem in activating ODS 0SD_O06, it is giving below error message
1. 550 of 1.476.126 data records are in a locked area
2. 550 data records locked by archiving request 1.048.978
3. Error when checking data to be activated against archiving objects.
We have archived the ODS content based on Billing Date, Archiving Request 1.048.978 is for the Bill Date 01.01.2004 to 31.12.2004.
I checked in the new data table of ODS with the Bill Date 01.01.2004 to 31.12.2004, I got 550 Records.
It means the records which is already archived for Bill Date 01.01.2004 to 31.12.2004, got changed and again came into the request.
I am not able to find the solution for this, please help me in this, your help will be highly appreciated.

If the data has been archieved then there is no tool to get the archieve data back in BW. So I suggest to investigate further.

Fortunately, I found the following suggestion from
XI 3.0 Demo: Unable to check flight availability: XI System Error
In sxmb_moni look at the field Queue ID.
The value of your waiting entry might start with e.g. XBTR or XBTS.
Then call transaction smqr (in the corresponding client 105, 106, or 107)
and register/activate them as XBTR* and XBTS*.
When I started I actually registered/activated them just on the ingration server client,
but one needs to do this in all relevant clients.
I did all that mentioned above- 105,106,107 (even client 900 : my integration server client)

But as you can see it, The value of Scheduler status is INACTIV.
Well, I tried to use Activate Scheduler, it didnt work ( from STARTING to INACTIV).
I found the issue about "INACTIV" status.

Once that is done, you should be able to select the QFRC Monitor button and you should see all of the queues on the next screen. If that is the case you may need to go back to SXMB_MONI and reprocess the message to put it into the queue for processing.
DON'T worry about the fact that the scheduler status shows "INACTIV," that is normal.
I guess I miss something.

SAP GRC 5.3 CUP Archiving Requests

All,
I have a question about archiving and re reviewing requests after they are closed (approved/rejected).
Let's say I create a request, my manager performs a risk analysis and SOD violations occur, but my manager approves the request. If at some point (say a year down the line) I want to review the request to see what the conflicts were would the request: a. still be in CUP to review and b. would it show the conflicts that were identified at the time.
How would archiving play into this scenario as well.
Unfortunately, I cannot test this in CUP as it is time sensitive, but I'm hoping someone has come across this before.

Hello Kunal,
You can test this in a development by re-creating the scenario and archiving the completed request. The length of time archived is not an issue.
In answer, yes you can pull up the archived request information (provided that you did not delete the archive) and you can see what were the recorded SOD risks at the time. However, the request itself will not tell you the individual transactions that caused the conflicts and may no longer be accurate if the risks and business functions have changed in their content since the time of the request.
This said, GRC AC seems to be changing in "leaps and bounds" with recent support packs... Who knows if the archiving process will change in the future.

Status request awaiting documents and trip awaiting documents

Hello everybody,
In "trip receipts without general trip data", in travel reporting, you can be set by status.
In tab Status, in Request/Trip ind., there are 2 status: "request awaiting documents" and "trip awaiting documents".
My question is:
Is posible change manually the trip status to some of this status?

Actually thats the opposite, in customizing you defined that trip must be posted to FI before allowing creation of expense report.
Post your requet to FI using PRFI, PRRW.. then create your expense report from this request.

Sync of Notes - annoying request for confirmation

I sync my MS Outlook Notes between the PC and the iPhone. Whenever I make changes to the Notes on the iPhone, during the sync, the confirmation box shows up asking to confirm that I want to change Notes on the PC. This request for confirmation is really annoying. It doesn't come up if changes were made on the PC and are being synced to the iPhone. How can I stop this annoying request for confirmation?

iTunes > Edit menu > Preferences > Devices tab, change the threshold for change notification.

CUP Archived requests

Hi experts,
How is it possible to have a look into archived requests?
With the function "Search requests" and "Informer" it is only possible to see the lists of the archived requests, but if I want to have a look inside a request, a error-message appears: "Request Approval Screen is not displayed because Request Status has changed". It is necessary to look into the requests because of internal audits, otherwise the archive function isn't usable for us.
Does anybody knows why this error-message appears and how it is possible to have a look into the archived requests?

same issue here in our SP10 system - it's a known/reported bug that will be fixed in a later SP ( planned for SP12).

Request to confirm my email address can not be responded to

Having registered I can not confirm my email address as requested as there is no response to clicking on the blue link in your message. VERY frustrating!

If you know the answers to your questions then follow the steps half-way down the HT5312 page that you posted from :
Navigate to appleid.apple.com using your web browser.
Click "Manage your account"
When prompted, sign in using your Apple ID and password.
Click Password & Security
You'll be asked to answer 2 of your 3 security questions before you can make any modifications. If you are unable to remember your answers, you can choose to send an email to your rescue email to reset your security questions.
After you've validated your identity by correctly answering your security questions, click Edit to the right of your rescue email address.
Once you've finished editing your rescue email address, click the Save button directly below the email field.
If you can't remember your answers then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

When they've been reset you can then use the above steps to update your rescue email address

Outlook Online Archive Requesting for Authentication

I am currently performing a migration from Exchange 2010 to Exchange 2013. For the new Exchange 2013 environment I have 3 servers. Two servers are in the main site and one in the disaster site. The first server in the main site and the one in the
disaster site have both the mailbox and client access role and a set up in a DAG. The second server at the main site is to be used to host archive mailboxes for users and has only the mailbox role installed. The 2010 setup is also similar just that all the
servers are located at the main site. I migrated a couple of users from the 2010 server to the new 2013 server. I realize that when a user on the Exchange 2013 server uses Outlook(both 2010 and 2013) and tries to expand his online archive it requests for authentication
and after entering the credentials is still unable to access it. However, the same user can access the online archive when they use OWA.

It keeps prompting the password again and again.
The Test E-mail AutoConfiguration looks normal. Proxy authentication is also set to NTLM like in the screenshot above. The only observation is when I try to expand the Online Archive and i look at the Connection Status I see the guid of the user's archive mailbox

Where do I find the data contained within a resend request for confirmation? I'd like to be able to see it

STORAGE UNIT REQUESTED WHEN CONFIRMING TO

Hello Gurus, I have a question for you:
When I do a confirmation with LT12 for a TO from a Storage Type (SU managed) lets say ST 501 to ST 502 (SU No managed) the system ask me to introduce a S U.
But if I do it from another TA 503(SU managed) to 502 SU (No managed) the confirmation runs automaticaly without asking for the SU.
¿Why It may be Happening ? I will like none of them ask me for the SU.

Please check ST 502 is bulk storage stragegy. it it block storage type then the system will ask you to enter or select the storgae unit.

I have created a Apple ID but the e-mail adress is invalid due to a typo. I could purchase apps in the store but now the store is requesting a confirmation (after several month) and I cannot confirm the ID as the e-mail is invalid. What can I do?

The good news is you should be able to get into your Apple ID by answering security questions instead of email at appleid.apple.com. Click the Manage Your Account and then Forgot Your Password links. If you get in you'll see the place to change your primary email address.
The bad news is there are some issues with Apple ID accounts right now. Some accounts are unable to change their primary email address (Mobile Me accounts in particular), some accounts cannot even log in because Apple has screwed up the security information (for example, I have 2 Apple ID accounts where it tells me my own birthday is invalid).
So give it a shot.

Batch DNGing an Archive Request for Help

I am updating thousands of images on a large drive containg folders and subfolders of nef, dng, tif and jpg images.
Goal: To DNG only the nef images then delete the nef and related xmp files
Problem 1: Adobe DNG Converter will dng the nefs but leaves the nef and xmp files.
Problem 2: Adobe DNG Converter re-dng's the dng files adding a "_1" extension and leaves both versions.
Anyone have a suggestion or solution to share?

If you're on a Mac, open Terminal and type:
find /path/to/folder -iname *.nef -type f -delete
Obviously /path/to/folder should be the folder where your NEFs are.
