OAMK no change allowed

Hi Expert,
As I am trying to change an asset reconciliaiton account to non reconciliation account via OAMK but the screen shows view only. I got to know that in order to change it via OAMK I have to set the company code status to test. Can anyone please let me know how to set the company code to test status? I will reset it back to production once I have done the change.
thank you
Max

Follow the menu path as below:
AA>Preparing for Production Startup>Production Startup>Activate Company Code and set the status to "2".

  • Price change allowed in entry sheet

The scenario - I need all PO that are created must have the indicator "Price change allowed in entry sheet" be checked when they are created by default. The settings in SPRO (Screen layout for external service management) allows that this field could be display, optional and required. But my requirement is that this field in PO must be checked and should be non editable (grey).
Also, what would be the best way to update all the POs that have already been created to have this indicator for every service items that are created.

    Hi,
Price change in entry sheet field is a hidden field in PO .In ML81 screen layout if this field is made as display than nobody will be able to change the price in entry sheet .Hence it is better to use this field as display in ML81 screen layout .

  • SCC4-No changes Allowed

    Hi,
As per the Auditors infstructions we need to change the SCC4 settings in Production Environment to No Changes allowed from  Changes without automatic recording..
Could you please let us know what is actually meant by that and what would happen if we chaNge that option in Production environment..
    Regds,
    Satyanarayana N.

    Satyanarayana,
The SCC4 transaction has 2 parts to it:
A.) Changes and transports for client independent objects---which has options:
    1. Changes without automatic recording
    2. Automatic recording of changes
    3. No changes allowed
    4. No transports allowed
B.) Client independent object changes---wich has the options:
    1. changes to repository and client independent customizing objects allowed
    2. No changes to client independent customizing objects
    3.No changes to repository objects
    4.  No changes to repository and client independent customizing objects
Lets start by saying that the options in B.) would only be relevent if the options in A.) are 1, 2 or 4.
The reason why you were asked to change the option A.) from:
    Changes without automatic recording
                           to
No changes allowed --- is that in a productive environment any changes to cutomizing objects or repository objects
    1. might lead to the system crashing there by disrupting business
    2. may cause a security breach as per SOD (segregations of Duties set by SOX (Sarbanes Oxley) law which has to adhered to world over by businesses.
But yes, there are situations where the option has to be set to:
Changes without automatic recording for a brief period of time. But these situations have to be recorded and presented to the auditors. For instance:
There are certain customizing changes (more often than not done by the FI module) which are not transportable A classic example is NUMBER RANGES for Sales documents, billing documents etc. Nuber ranges for these documents are not transportable and have to be set directly in the production environment. For situations like this, the above option is used. A record is maintained about this and presented to the Auditors.
We have discussed to options :
    1.Changes without automatic recoding
    2. No changes allowed.
    The thrid option
    3. automatic recording of changes is always used in a development client. This is because changes done in that system have to be transported to quality and production systems and hence a transport request is automatically generated
    4. No transports allowed is used in sandbox clients where Customizing changes are allowed but transports are not allowed to be created (manually also)
Hope the explanation helps. You can also search for details about SOD and SOX which are a very important part business compliance.
Please do award points if the explanation has been helpful

    Hi Indra,
On the face of it, it seems you're trying to change the standard SAP objects (programs). Could you specify which program you're trying to change / add ?
Remember, all your new programs should begin with either a 'Z' or 'Y'.

  • Changes allowed in shopping cart during approval

    Hi all,
    I am on SRM 7 , ECS.
    My reqirements are :
    1. The requisitioner should not be able to change the shopping cart during approval workflow.I have changed the authorization level , BBP_WFL_SECURITY , to  none  " changes are not allowed" in the employee role . But still the requester is able to change the cart during workflow
    2. The approver should be able to change the shopping cart during approval workflow.I have changed the authorization level , BBP_WFL_SECURITY , to low  " workflow is always restarted when changes are made" in the employee role . But the approver is  not able to change the cart during workflow.
    3. If the approver rejects the cart , the workflow should end. what is the way to achieve this?
can you please advise on all these points?
    Rgds
    Sumendra

    Hi,
It is called Process-Controlled Workflow. BRF Workflow is not correct term.
BBP_WFL_SECURITY is for only Application-Controlled Workflow.
    >1. The requisitioner should not be able to change the shopping cart
Changing SC is available in standard. You can de-activate Edit Button by custom class. Please check "Extension and Field Control (Personalization)" customizing.
    >2. The approver should be able to change the shopping cart
There are 2 task types, Completion and Approval in #Define Process Level"
Completion TS40007952  Approver can change SC
Approval    TS40007953  No chnage is available
    >3. If the approver rejects the cart , the workflow should end
It is in standard for full reject case. What is requirement for partial reject case?
    >4.all header and item information can be changed by the approver
    Yes
Team SC concept is also available in SRM 7.0. Team members can edit Team SC before submit.

  • Is it possible to change Allowed Values (csv) in a property through an API?

    Hi everyone
I would like to enable end users to change the Allowed Values (csv) in a property without giving them access to the system administration > system configuration part of the portal. Actually I would like to create a simple iview which could show the list from the Allowed Values (csv) entry of a specific property and let certain users maintain the values from that iview instead of through system administration.
Do any of you know if its possible to develop this in some way? We have not been able to identify possible ways to change the Allowed Values (csv) entry through the KM API.
    Any help will be awarded.

  • Real nonintrusive database polling - no triggers or scema changes allowed

    Hi,
Need to catch CRUD operations in an Oracle database that should not be tampered with. No new triggers or tables alllowed! Use of Oracle Streams would be allowed, so this seems a viable approach, e.g. using Streams to feed into an AQ adapter. I guess you could also implement something based on mere select through the database adapter, with e.g. a control table in a different schema or file based. Other ideas? Experiences? Advices?
    Thanks,
    Erik

    Hi Erik,
when using the SequencingPollingStrategy you can store the last readId in a file instead of in a table (supported in 10.1.2, wizard support in 10.1.3).
Also in 10.1.3 the sequencing table can be in another database, like in the dehydration store.
In 10.1.2 you need to manually edit the WSDL activation spec parameters.
    PollingStrategyName="oracle.tip.adapter.db.inbound.FileSequencingPollingStrategy"
    SequencingFileName="C:\temp\sequence.txt"
    SequencingFieldType="java.sql.Timestamp"
Your sequencing file should have a single line, like
    2005-12-05T00:00:00.000-08:00
This is if you are using a last updated time.
Note if you use the pseudo-column ora_rowscn as the last read id you do not have to change the schema either. This rowscn (system change number) is what undo logs and read consistency are based on. I can send a sample to anyone interested.
    Thanks
    Steve

  • System status blank for equipment - no changes allowed

    Hi,
We want to dismantle an equipment as it is no longer at the customer's location.
When I go in IE02, I get following message.
"Change technical object" is not allowed (EQU 10051040 )
        Message no. BS002
    Diagnosis
The transaction 'Change technical object' is not allowed for  EQU
10051040, because no status is set to permit it.
    System Response
You cannot carry out the transaction 'Change technical object'.
    Procedure
You can carry out this transaction if you set a user status, which
        permits 'Change technical object'.
I put the User Status on "Released", but still not possible to change the equipment.
When checking the System Status, I noticed that it is blank.
As no changes are allowed, I cannot manually change the System Status.
Also in IQ02 I get the same message and no System Status is filled.
Anyone an idea how to workaround so we can dismantle the equipment?
Thanks in advance for your inputs!
    Best regards,
    Geert

    Pete,
Yes I have run that program, but it hasnt changed anything.  There is a user status AVLB in the equipment. When i checked in the status profile, this user status is not forbidden for any transactions. The program RISTEQ03 seems to work if there no user status also. But for my case, a user status is there, but there is no system status. Since there is no system status, the equipment could not be accessed through change mode (ie02).  I need the system status AVLB in the equipment.  The equipment does not even have any other details like functional location, maint. plant, sales area data, etc. in it.

  • Maintain Table - no changes allowed

Iu2019m working on a table maintenance view and I canu2019t figure out what is happening. Here is the issue.
My program zhi1365 creates rows of data in tables.
Then the user should be able to go into these tables through the maintainence view to edit the data.
The user makes a change and hits save. The problem is, the table says that their change has been saved but it does not save the change.
The maintence view will allow the user to create new rows, and change those...or delete the current rows...and that works fine...but not to change a row created by the program.
    Any thoughts or ideas?

    Hello Sarah,
How is your table modification defined under Table Maintenance Generator ? And how is the Compare Flag set (last line of screen 120; it's not a flag but a display text!)? There are 4 alternatives:
    - No Information
    - Not Adjustable
    - Adjustable in Dialog
    - Automatically Adjustable
    That's under NetWeaver 7.0 SP !
Try them out and hopefully it works,
    Heinz

  • Sales order change allows shipping point | plant combination - not possible

A sales order was created and all lines defaulted to the correct shipping point for the plants.
Subsequently, one line's shipping point was changed to a shipping point not possible for the plant, i.e, no assignment exists for the shipping point and plant.  There were no checks to validate the change.  Thus, the sales order was saved with the bad shipping point for the plant (non-WM).
The delivery was created with two lines for plant (WM) and one line for plant (non-WM).
The solution was to manually delete the non-WM plant line from the delivery and.  Next, correct the plant (non-WM) to the WM managed plant and create a new delivery.
Why did SAP allow the order to save with bad shipping point - plant combination.
Thank you in advance for your assistance.
    lotjjon

Why did SAP allow the order to save with bad shipping point - plant combination
Definitely, standard SAP won't allow you to change the shipping point unless, it is assigned in OVL2 as already pointed out.  Check whether this issue is there for all plants / shippint points or only in that document, this issue has happened.

  • Changes Allowed on the 3rd Party Sales Order when PO is created

    Hello,
We have a requirement to change the Sales Order even if the PO is already created for teh 3rd party order. I am not sure which fields and what changes can we do if the PO is already created for the 3rd Party sales order.
Can you please guide me in pointing to the configuration or any user exit that we can control the field changes on the 3rd party sales order when teh PO is already created.
    Thank you!
    Chandrakant

    Venu,
FIRST ANSWER THE BELOW TWO QUESTIONS.
    1. Did you understand what Shiva has mentioned?
He has clearly mentioned that  you can change the PO qty and in standard it self the same PO changed  qty will be reflected in Sales order schduline lines qty, and he also mentioned that if this is not happening then advised to refer the Note 1361281.
    2. Did you read the note?
It says that It will occur if the sales order line item is part of the delivery group or if you have set the complete delivery indicator for the sales order. And it also advised to apply the program code to over come the issue.
Please note: before commenting others just check once in system then talk, don't just blindly through the ball, it will not have good results.
Before also mentioned the same, but you still repeating the same.
Sorry Moderators that i have mentioned some lines in the Note here.
    thanks,
    Srinu.

  • Discovery Server - configuration and abap changes allowed?

    Hello -
We are thinking about deploying a ESA Discovery Server, specifically for exploring ERP 2005.  We may use this as a way to get one of our project teams busy doing proto-types, while we build out a true ERP 2005 Dev/Qual/Prod environment for them.
I anticipate that some of our project team members will want to create transports of config and/or ABAP code.  And, would ultimately like us to export/import this into a DEV system, once it is built.
Is anyone aware of any restrictions for using the ESA Discovery Server, in a fashion like this?  Or, any restrictions about importing transports into the ERP 2005 instance within Discovery Server (except the obvious version compatibility issues, etc.)
    thank  you,
    Steve

    Hi Steve,
As long as you ahve the appropriate ABAP development licenses you should be fine.  The software which is installed is the exact same software which you will later download from service marketplace or obtain via DVD from SAP.  Therefore, technically it should work fine.  Of course, you will need to ensure the transport mechanism is configured properly for your environment.

  • Allowing page extraction with a change permissions password enforced

How can I enforce a change permission password for my PDF and still allow for page extraction?  All settings I have tried result in page extraction being not allowed.  I've seen on another discussion site that enabling printing and selecting any option other than the last two for the configuration Changes Allowed should allow for page extraction.

As I understand it, all security settings (except "None") will have that effect. New documents wouldn't have security, so it would be pointless to have the security. You can delete all unwanted pages, however, if document editing is permitted.
