OB74 Set up

Hi,
There was a wrong set up done in OB74 in my client system, they have selected WAERS and PRCTR for the account type S. Because of this setting ther has been wrong clearing right from the year 2007 for GR IR CLearing. Now there are huge amounts of open items uncleared under the GRIR accounts.
I suppose that there must have been wrong clearing in the past years. Please let me know how to check and rectify it.
Please let me know how to overcome this situation besides making the OB74 setup to ZUONR and VBUND. Thanks a lot for your help.
Regards,
S.Sumana.

There is no need to reverse the cleared documents.
You can test this in your sandbox system. (or testing client of your development system)

  • GR/IR entry problem

    Hi
We have posted one invoice through MIRO in the year 2005. And in the same year payment also happened for that invoice.
But customer has raised a ticket why this invoice is showing as not cleared in FBL1N.
If i see that invoice in MIRO follow up documents area i unable to find since it is saying no finance documents available. If i verify the BSEG table and BSAK table those invoice and clearing documents not there and it is only available in BSIS.
And i tried to clear it manually through F.13 but it is throwing error BSEG entry is missing
So how can i clear the 2005 gr/ir entry which is already cleared from finance side.
is it some archive problem or something else
Waiting for expert guidance to resolve this issue
    Regards
    Vishnu

    Hi Srinivas,
As you told, i kept Creterion 1 alone and i tried F.13
Its working fine in pre production
Is it feasible solution in Production, since we have thousands of user and thousands of clearings
If i modify OB74 setting, it may affect the businees right
And i dont have authorisations to modify the Gl account also (post automatic check box)
So without changing the settings, is there any way

  • GL account cleared but appears as open in FBL3N

    Hello all,
I ran the FX reval for an Open Item managed GL account and then ran the Auto clear program for it. When I check the GL line item report, the clearing document has been created and the balance is infact 0 however, it is appearing as open items.
I checked the OB74 setting, the GL account has been set up as OI managed. The weird part is that there is a clearing document created and when I checked the header, it was created via the autoclear program SAPF124. The ony thng is that the clearing date has been posted as a future date (09.01.2011). Can anyone help me with this please?
    Thank you!!!

What is the clearing date of the program SAPF124?
You might be activated Date from most recent documents, so the program will take the date from recent docuemnt.
In that way there is possiblity of your scenario.

  • F.13 Clearing When Line Items Net to Zero

    Hello,
I am trying to clear GRIR items in F.13. Our OB74 setting sets the criteria for the account as EBELN (Purchasing document) and EBELP (Item).  However we have numerous situations where multiple line items on a PO net to zero, however the line items themselves do not equal zero.  See example below.  These documents do not clear in F.13 and remain open in GRIR.  SAP note 546410 states that EBELN and EBELP should always be set.  I was wondering if using only EBELN (Purchasing document) and removing the EBELP (Item) would solve our problem or if it would create other issues.
    Thanks, Kevin
    Example:
    PO 4500124 line item 10   $200
    PO 4500124 line item 20 -$200

    Hi,
    Use EBELN only in OB74.
Then in FS00 - select 014 (Purchase Order) as sort key for GRIR account.
Hope this would solve your issue.

  • Automatic clearing for document posted via FBB1 with foreign currency

    Hi SAP Gurus,
Can anyone help to explain on why does the document posted in FBB1 with document currency USD was auto cleared even without satisfying the rule in OB74. But when the document currency is SGD it can be automatically cleared.
    Scenarion is as below
    OB74 set up:
       Accty type: S
      From acct: 12000
      To account: 12000
      Criterion 1: Business area
      Criterion 2: Assignment
    G/L account : 12000
    Account currency : SGD
    Post JV document via FBB1:
         Dr 12000
         Cr 20000
         Document curreny : USD ; amount: 0
Local currency: SGD ; amount: 200
         Assignment: Test A
         Business area: 'blank'
*When I run F.13 above document was cleared and the clearing doc contains below
           Dr 20000
           Cr 12000
But when I post in FBB1 with same entries as above, only changing the document currency to SGD it will not be cleared via F.13.
Appreciate your explanation on why does above scenario happened.
    Thank you in advance.

    HI,
while posting the entry through FBB1 then system will not consider the exchange rates as per ob08 and etc.,
you can define the local and foreign currency values as per your wish while posting the FBB1.
I hope above will clear you issue. Thank you.

  • SD Reversal not getting Cleared

    Hi Experts,
When an invoice is getting posted in SD and subsequently when such invoice is cancelled, the line item is not getting cleared. In FBL5n it is showing both the line items as open for all these cases. Please advice
    Thanks in Advance

    Hi,
VF11 only cancell the invoice and post the reversal document in FI.
First you clear the original document and reversal document manually in FI
use T code F-32 or automatically in F.13
It is related to OB74 setting for this Cusotmer' Recon Acc

  • How to work tcode f.13 for GR/IR clearing?

    Hi
I have a question for auto clearing of GR/IR.
    We are using 4.7 version.
As far as I know, f.13 is running base on OB74 setting.
And our setting is only one criteria (EBELN, po number) for GR/IR clearing.
When we run it, system work to separate clearing one or not cleaing one even if same po number.
Po has many GR and IR transaction.
    How SAP calulate it?
    Thank you inadvance.

How can I access below notes?

  • F.13 clearing diff. does not follow tolerance limit by GL and by User

    Hi All,
I'm trying to set up F.13 with following tolerance limit:
    1. Tolerance Group per GL account:
         - Amount: 5,000 (Debit and Credit)
         - Percentage: 99,00% (Debit and Credit)
    2. Tolerance Group per User --> assigned to all user
         - Amount: 5,000 (Revenue and Expenses)
         - Percentage: 99,0%
    3. Tolerance group ID for GL has been assigned to GL master Data
My scenario for this automatic clearing testing:
    1. GL Account 110xxx1:
         - Dr: 10,000 Cr: 9,001 = Difference is 999.
         - Result: can be cleared
    2. GL Account 110xxx1:
         - Dr: 10,000 Cr: 9,000 = Difference is 1,000.
         - Result: can not be cleared
    My question:
    1. Why system can clear for difference 999 but can not clear for 1,000, yet both are under tolerance limit.
    2. Is there any other tolerance limit besides these two tolerance limit?
    Thanks,
    CW

    Hi Gladys,
Thanks for your advice. The GL account is a normal GL account, not a reconciliation account.
Yes, I have also set the tolerance limit for the accounts i want to clear.
F.13 can group which documents i want to clear together based on OB74 setting but at the bottom of the docs, system says "No Clearing".
FYI, i have marked the "include tolerance" before running f.13.
Appreciate your advice on this issue.
    Thanks,
    CW

  • GRIR - Criteria set in OB74 - Additional rule for automatic clearing

    Hi,
WIth reference to the subject of this post, I would like to have advice on the commonly used criteria for the GRIR GL account.
My GL master for this GRIR settings: sort key is 010: Purchase order no., which is EBELN (Tcode: OB16).
Currently the settings at OB74 - Additional rule for automatic clearing for my GRIR are as follows:
    DMBTR, Amt.in loc.cur.
    ZUONR, Assignment
    EBELN, Purchasing Document
My issue is due to the criteria of DMBTR, Amt.in loc.cur, I am not able to clear the GRIR GL using F.13, and after I remove the criteria: DMBTR, Amt.in loc.cur, I manage to clear all my GR and IR entries which have 0 balance in amount in local currency.
    KIndly advise.
P/S: DO I need to have the following settings, additionally?
Define Tolerance Groups for G/L Accounts
    Define Tolerance Groups for Employees
    Assign Users to Tolerance Groups
    Create Accounts for Clearing Differences
    Thanks in advance.

    Thanks.
But my problem is as follows:
My issue is due to the criteria of DMBTR, Amt.in loc.cur, I am not able to clear the GRIR GL using F.13, and after I remove the criteria: DMBTR, Amt.in loc.cur, I manage to clear all my GR and IR entries which have 0 balance in amount in local currency.
    Do you have any idea?

  • OB74 clearing rules

    Hi all,
I want to clear one gl account automatically using OB74 rules. But I have an exception that this transaction doesnt cover.
    I explain in detail:
We are receving bank statements in USD and EUR. So, invoices have to clear automatically in both currencies. With the rule defined below I can just clear automatically invoices posted in EUR (Local currency) or foreign currencies. But for USD I dont want to clear by local currency but Document currency.
    Rule defined:
gl account 11000  using criterion DMBTR
And I cant change the rule into criterion AMOUNT, because invoices in foreign currencies doesnt match with bank statemetn in EUR....
How can I manage to get both rules in the system?
    Many thanks
    Regards
    M

    Dear Mansika,
You want to clear the GL Account 110000 by Amount in local currency (DMBTR) when the currency is EUR. When the currency is USD the clearing is in Amount in Document Currency (WRBTR).
SAP Standard doesn't provide conditional criteria for automatic clearing however you can use a substitution rule for this process.
Look my suggestion below and let me know if it was helpful.
Define 2 additional steps in your Substitution Rule:
    Step 1
    Prerequisite:
    BSEG-HKONT (GL acc) = '110000' and BKPF-WAERS (Moeda Doc) = 'EUR'
    Substitution:
    BSEG-DMBTR (Amount Local Currency) = BSEG-ZUONR (Assignment)
    Step 2
    Prerequisite:
    BSEG-HKONT (GL acc) = '110000' e BKPF-WAERS (Moeda Doc) = 'USD'
    Substitution:
    BSEG-WRBTR (Amount Local Currency) = BSEG-ZUONR (Assignment)
    Transaction OB74
GL ACC: 110000 / Criteria: ZUONR (Assignment)
I suggest that you set up the field 'assignment' as a selection criterion. If you have any use for this field look for some other field that is not being used.

  • FBL5N Auto knock-off setting

    Hi Gurus,
Our company SAP set up a criteria for auto knock-off as below:
    1. Net value must be zero, for example, there is 1 payment and 1 open invoice, the net value is Zero.
    2. Assignment field must be exactly the same.
Then system will perform auto knock off of these 2 items and clear off in FBL5N.
Can anyone advise where can I find this configuration? In IMG?
    Thanks.

As OB74 is based on chart of account, so please check whether your AS04 company code is also using this chart of account?
If not, create the entries in OB74 for AS04's chart of account also.
Also check that documents exist in AS04 having assignment field and matching total zero for unique assignment value.
    Regards,
    SDNer

  • Xorg 1.10.1 no longer affected by manual DPI setting

I use my 23 inch 1920x1080 monitor as TV also. As this means I sit rather far from it, I manually set DPI quite low to enlarge windows and fonts by default. However after the last upgrade, which brought Xorg 1.10 and Gnome 3, Xorg seems to no longer be affected by my setting DPI in xorg.conf. The logs show that the value is read, and xdpyinfo shows the DPI I have set manually, but this setting no longer seems to affect any windows or fonts.
The DPI is set via the nvidia driver. Relevant parts of xorg.conf and the full Xorg.0.log are attached.

I seem to have been unclear in my original post. Setting it in Gnome 3 would all be fine and dandy, however although Gnome 3 was installed (upgraded from 2.x), I use fvwm. Gtk etc is still used but I don't see why upgrading a DE I don't use would impair another WM from using the X11 DPI settings. Also changing that setting in Gnome 3 does not affect neither the login screen (GDM) nor anything in fvwm.

  • HOW TO SET UP PARTNER APPLICATION TO USE SSO OUTSIDE OF PORTAL

If anyone knows how Portal switches context to run as the db user mapped to the lightweight schema and how it knows the db schema password please let me know.
Should you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact me on 07775 896738.
From document Oracle Portal Security Overview on PortalStudio.oracle.com:
In Single Sign On mode (EnableSSO=Yes in the DAD), mod_plsql determines the name of the light-weight user and mapped database schema by calling
    WPG_SESSION_PRIVATE.GET_LW_USER and WPG_SESSION_PRIVATE.GET_DB_USER respectively.
** These calls are done using the Portal Schema (PORTAL30) and Portal schema password **
mod_plsql then executes the procedure in the requested URL by using the N-Tier Authentication feature to connect to the database as the user returned from
WPG_SESSION_PRIVATE.GET_DB_USER. ..... Note that N-Tier Authentication requires all schemas to be used for Portal user mappings to be granted 'connect
through' privleges to the Portal schema (PORTAL30).
The WWCTX packages are also used.
So this is how it works with standard Portal
    - the document states that the WPG_SESSION_PRIVATE package is only accessible to the Portal schema
    - but I checked and it is also available to PORTAL30_SSO
    SQL> desc WPG_SESSION_PRIVATE
    PROCEDURE CREATE_SESSION
    Argument Name Type In/Out Default?
    P_COOKIE_NAME VARCHAR2 IN
    FUNCTION GET_DB_USER RETURNS VARCHAR2
    FUNCTION GET_LW_USER RETURNS VARCHAR2
    PROCEDURE GET_SESSION_INFO
    Argument Name Type In/Out Default?
    NUM_PARAMS NUMBER OUT
    PARAM_NAMES TABLE OF VARCHAR2(32000) OUT
    PARAM_VALUES TABLE OF VARCHAR2(32000) OUT

    Argument Name Type In/Out Default?
    P_COOKIE_NAME VARCHAR2 IN
In my case only the Login Server (PORTAL30_SSO) is going to be used/installed
    - the SAMPLE_SSO_PAPP application will only work if the DAD used to access is it set to use Basic authentication, i.e. the actual integration with the Login Server
is done in the sample application code calls, stored in the database
    - when a DAD has enableSSO=yes it automatically accesses Portal (PORTAL30) packages to implement N-Tier authentication
    I'm currently testing:
    1. Configuring the SAMPLE_SSO_PAPP sample as documented with a DAD with Basic authentication
    2. Amending the ssoapp procedure to set context to another (db) user on successful authentication:
    wwctx_api.set_context (
    p_user_name => 'SCOTT',
    p_password => 'TIGER' );
    3. If this works then set_context with get_lw_user instead
I have now amended the ssoapp procedure as follows to print out
    1. The userid entered when the login box is presented
    2. The Database user which the Portal Lightweight user is mapped to
    3. The Lightweight user Portal has used for authentication
    Amendments to papp.pkb:
(ssoapp procedure, declare db_user_info and lw_user_info as VARCHAR2 in declare section)
    htp.p('Congratulations! It is working!<br>');
    db_user_info := wwctx_api.get_db_user;
    lw_user_info := wwctx_api.get_user;
    htp.p('User Information:' || l_user_info || '<br>');
    htp.p('DB User Information:' || db_user_info || '<br>');
    htp.p('LW User Information:' || lw_user_info || '<br>');
The following shows the interesting results from my testing:
    - if the user owning the sample_sso_papp package is PORTAL30_SSO then the call to wwctx_api.get_db_user succeeds
    - if the user owning the sample_sso_papp package is a non-portal schema e.g. SSOAPP below the call to wwctx_api.get_db_user generates a User Defined exception
    Steps to test:
Created new schema SSOAPP on the database
    - edited it in Portal and checked the use this schema for Portal users checkbox
    - created new Lightweight user SSO_LW in Portal, mapped it to SSOAPP schema
    - created new Lightweight user SSO_SCOTT in Portal, mapped to SCOTT schema
    - loadjava -user ssoapp/ssoapp@portal30 SSOHash.class
    - sqlplus portal30/portal30@portal30
    @provsyns ssoapp
    - sqlplus ssoapp/ssoapp@portal30
    @loadsdk.sql
    @loadpapp.sql
Created DAD with basic authentication SAMPLE_SSO_PAPP
    - username: ssoapp
    - default home page: sample_sso_papp.ssoapp
Registered the Sample SSO Partner Application with the Login Server and ran regapp.sql
Commented out the calls to get_db_user in papp.pkb to avoid exception
    - called http://<server>/pls/sample_sso_papp
    - logged on as SSO_LW/sso_lw
    - got output:
    Congratulations! It is working!
    User Information: SSO_LW
    LW User Information: PUBLIC
So the Portal lightweight user is not returned as SSO_LW
if anyone knows why the Lightweight User in my test is returned as PUBLIC not SSO_LW
    Best Regards
    MIchael
