Oracle 11g download issue

hi there,
i face problems downloading oracle dbase 11g from OTN using download accelerators. i have a 56kbs internet connection and OTN downloads seem not to resume. is there any other way or place were i can get tihs application? please someone help me i need it so badly.

Well I shall say that with 56kbps internet connection, it would really a nightmare to go for the 11g download from any site, be it OTN or Edelievery. I shall suggest that if you are in USA or Canada, or some of your friend is there, order the DVDs for the 11g over Windows and use it.

Running OBI EE 11g

Hey everybody
I completed the installation of OBI EE 11g in distant server.
At launch the console WebLogic (http://hostname:7001/console) everything is fine and i run bi_server1.
But if i launched Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (http://hostname:9500/analytics) i have this error :
*Error 500--Internal Server Error
From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:
10.5.1 500 Internal Server Error
The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request.*
What's the problem ?

Hi,
You should verify that Oracle BI is running on port 9500 (default = 9704). Check in the Weblogic Console. If so, check via the Enterprise Manager (http://hostname:7001/em) whether all the System Components are up-and-running.

OBIEE 11g - Download All/Display All of rows in Answers

Hi All,
I have created a request in OBIEE 11g and now displaying it on dashboard.
by default shows 25 rows, can extend it fo 500 rows, next i should keep on clicking to see full data.
Also download of data is possible for the rows available on page only i.e. 500 rows are only getting exported to excel.
Any way to view all data on dashboard at once and download as well?

3. Note the new elements added are the following to both <Pivot> and <Table>, the Pivot part controls Pivot view, and Table part controls Table View, my testing was done with Table View.

OIM 9.1.0.2 / 11g Download

I just got back to my sandbox after a while and I have OIM Version: 9.1.0.1860.16 Build 1860.16 on my Win machine. I thought of doing a upgrade and searched for OIM 9.1.0.2 or the 11g Version. I couldn't find on the Oracle Download Section. Where can I download the OIM 9.1.0.2 version or the new 11g version? I couldnt figure out the version of the newer 11g.
Please guide me also if the upgrade requires just patches, please provide with the patch details.

Thanks Kevin. Just to confirm..
Patch 8484010 will upgrade 9.1.0.1 to 9.1.0.2
Patch 8787068 will upgrade to 9.1.0.2 to the most current version.

Oracle 11g download problem (Files is Broken)

i am download 11g 2 zip files.
but some files broken.
please any one upload this .jar files
1) database\stage\components\oracle.jdk\1.5.0.17.03\1\Datefiles\all.jar
2) database\stage\Components\oracle.swd.oui.core\11.2.0.1.0\1\DataFiles\------------------------ folder is broken _(all jar files)_ total 10 jar files missing
3) database\stage\Components\oracle.sysman.agent\---------------------------------------------------------folder is broken (all jar files) total 40 jar files and some folders are missing
4) database\stage\Components\oracle.javavm.containers\11.2.0.1.0\1\DataFiles\--------------------folder is broken total 4 jar files missing
5) database\stage\Components\oracle.owb.rsf\11.2.0.1.0\1\DataFiles\filegroup106.jar;------------jar file is broken

Pl define "broken" and how you determined these files/folders to be "broken". Pl identify the site you downloaded these files from. If from an Oracle website, did you use the checksum feature to verify the download ? Pl post details of your OS version.

Oracle 11g Download Availability

Hi All,
Is there a reason why Oracle has not given the link for 11g for Windows on their main site or the EDelivery ? Is it not available as a free download ? Wanted to test it on Windows too. I managed to download the Linux version and will start testing it soooooon..

I do not work for Oracle. I have not heard any rumours.
If I worked in a marketing organization, trying to maximize impact, I would consider
- 11gR1 for Solaris to come out before as Linux x86-64.
- - provide proof that Solaris is an important platform (if not the first for the release, at least the first for the brand)
- both, along with Windows, to make a major a splash at Open World.
- - an answer to every Vista's dream and a prep for Longhorn
- coincide all of that with an 11g App Server announcement.
- - to make sure the brand is all around ... having App Server and Collab Suite at 10g dilutes the 11g brand.
But that is just me ... I really do wonder how Oracle will handle it.

Is the 11g download a trial?

When I follow the link to download Oracle 11g, I cannot find anywhere if this is a 120-day trial or something alike. I wouldn't believe either that Oracle is giving its product away for free. Can anyone please explain me the situation?

What you download from Oracle website is full production release of Oracle products. That's right, no free trial code, no timer trick and no need to crack down any code.
Before you download the software, you need to click Accept to a License Agreement which states you have 30 days to legally test the product.
Oracle trust it's customers can volunteerly follow the law and regulation.

OC4J 11g download / where has oc4jadmin gone?

I know there is a 11g OC4J Technology preview somewhere on OTN, as I have managed to download it a while back. However currently I can't seem to find the location where to download it anymore. Can somebody point me in the right direction?
Secondly, in the OC4J11g home page - when started, the link into OC4J admin has gone. Is there some other way to access oc4jadmin via web, or can/should I only use commandline utilities?

OC4J 11 Technology Preview does not have a Web Console for the moment so all administration tasks/deployment must be done using command line/file.

Hi,
I was able to deploy the default reports that are generated during installation.
Am adding an extra attribute to the existing reports and trying to display the value in the output report. I can see the template to display is defined in .rtf file.
But am unable to print the extra attribute value. How do I map this value in rtf file ?
example: by default in a report I have Fname, Lname and Userid. Am adding extra attribute EmailID. But am unable to generate the value of emaild id in the report.
How do I map it in rtf file ??
