The Fusion edition is an out-of-the-box solution on Oracle DBI with Oracle BI EE as front-end. As far as I know the Fusion edition has been replaced by Oracle BI Applications.

OK, the new version named Oracle Financial Analytics but does the it support OFSA
My question where is the document that show the integration between OFSA and OBIE Oracle Financial profitability Analytics
in the old version the document say that there is a PLSQL package to make the integration with OFSA to build the data-mart tables and to get the data from OFSA tables to the data-mart tables
i didn't find any reference in the new version for this package and nothing when i install the Application

OBI Standard Edition One (10.1.3.2.1) Database Error

Hi Guys!
I installed OBI Standard Edition One (10.1.3.2.1). In that BI Admin tool, Presentation services were installed properly. But i have problem in OBI Standard Edition One database it is not installing properly. While installing i didn't get any error message but in start menu i can't able to find any oracle home folder, no oracle listener. The sample reports i opened in dashboard all reports showing TNS error message.
Can any one tell what is the problem how to solve the problem....

Ya i'm having but what about OBI Standard Edition database? i want to see the OBISE one inbuilt tables! How to fetch the default schema?

Oracle Business Analytics Fusion Edition Data Model Reference

I want to make a study of the pre-built warehouse data schema, and there's a book named <Oracle Business Analytics Fusion Edition Data Model Reference> from the installation and configuration guide, but i cannot found it in the metalink and metalink3.
Could anybody tell me how to access the reference or provide me a link to it?

Hyperion Planning Fusion Edition, what components are required?

Hello,
Currently we're planning to install Hyperion Planning Fusion Edition, but we're not certain what components are required if we want to use Planning with EPMA/BPMA. Can someone post a list of components/applications required?
Additionally, where from can we download Oracle Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management Architect, Fusion Edition, v11.1.1.1.1? The documentation states that such a version exists, however we're unable to locate it on Oracle's web pages.

Restart Essbase Fusion Edition

Am doing Planning and just changed NETRETRYCOUNT and NETRETRYINTERVAL in essbase.cfg, I only see startessbase.cmd and do not see stopessbase.cmd. How do I do a clean server-restart on the Fusion Edition?

Fusion Edition...

The Oracle BI media pack on edelivery was down for a day, and I guess they just put it back up as a new pack. One difference is a new download, basically an Excel spreadsheet, entitled BI Apps Fusion Edition Licensing and Packaging Guide. From glancing through it, I guess various analytics modules are being deprecated or consolidated together; the spreadsheet tries to relate fact tables to the various analytics apps and some other things. For people trying to simply get their head around the whole picture of what's available and how it all fits together, this is a nice document to check out.

Is OBI 10.1.3.3.2 is just same as OBI Enterprise Edition Version 10.1.3.3?

on the page 17 it is clearly written that OBI is compatible with "SP1 or higher" for Microsoft Windows 2003
As the document is for Oracle Business intelligence Suite Enterprise Edition Version 10.1.3.3 so just for the information can any one confirm me whether it will be compatible with Oracle Business Intelligence 10.1.3.3.2 ?

FDM Version 11 Fusion Edition

Hello all...
I am trying to install FDM Version 11 Fusion Edtion. All EPM products have been installed on the same machine. All products have been installed and configured successfully except FDM. After the installation of FDM, when I try to open the FDM web config manager, I get the following error: "AppPool could not be accessed. Cannot create ActiveX component"
I believe this issue is related to IIS and permissions. I am using the administrator account to install all the products. I have IIS version 6.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hello, I had actually not resolved my issue. I was using a Hardware Load Balancer and pointing all apps in HYSL-Weblogic.conf to the HA VIP. If you put all servernames for the WebLogicCluster stanzas as WL_SERVER:WL_PORT,WL_SERVER2:_WLPORT2 format it should fix your issue. Fingers crossed that mine is resolved.

OBI Enterprise Edition hierarchical levels definition - nQSError: 10058

Hi,
i'm trying, in the BI administration tool, to define a dimension hierarchy based on not star nor snowflake scheme. I've a physical fact-table RICETTA linked to the first level physical table DISTRETTO. the physical table DISTRETTO is then linked to the both upper levels: USL and REGIONE. The conceptual hierarchy is DISTRETTO -> USL -> REGIONE. how can I define the logical hierarchy if there's no physical link between REGIONE and USL tables?
The Answer front-end returns the seguent error: Stato: HY000. Codice: 10058. [NQODBC] [SQL_STATE: HY000] [nQSError: 10058] A general error has occurred. [nQSError: 14026] Unable to navigate requested expression: USL.NOM_REGIONE. Please fix the metadata consistency warnings. (HY000).

If you followed up the setup document (http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E21043_01/bi.1111/e10541/configscorecard.htm), make sure you Restart the Oracle BI Server, through the Enterprise Manager for your bi instance.
After that, make sure you give your 'BIsystem' role permissions for "Allowing or Disallowing Direct Database Requests".
(You can access that through your RPD->Manage->Identities. Select BIsystem, click on "Permissions", Select tab "Query Limits", and select "Allow" in the "Allow or Disallow Direct Database Requests").
And make sure you either Delete the configured database ("System DB (Update me)") that comes with the Samples, in the RPD, that already has a connection named "BSC", change the connection name in that database, or just use it as the BSC annotations schema.
If you still have problems after that, make sure the connection credentials in your BSC connections are good to go.

I have installed the entire suite of v11 but couldn't figure out the correct sequence of starting up the services for different products. Does anyone know the start up sequence of Hyperion services?
