Obiee 11.1.1.5.0... 9704/analytics.... Login error

obiee11.1.1.5.0 on LINUX 86 X-64 bit
Hi
Installed obiee11g enterprise edition:
after that when i was trying to enter in weblogic console it was showing login denied, id/pwd error.(mitght be i fogot password)
so through weblogic person help i change DefaultAuthenticatorInit.ldift file(/opt/fmw01/obi11g/user_projects/domains/bifoundation_domain/security) and recreated this file with the help of some script and change the passowrd for weblogic user.
Now i am able to login in Weblogic console and Enterprise manger with the given password .but not able to logiin in 9704/ananlytics . giving error for login failed.
And now in EM: coreapplication :diagnoistics log its showing :
[nQSError: 43126] Authentication failed: invalid user/password.
Error Message From BI Security Service: WSM-06162 The policy referenced
All the srever are up and running.

Ok, I successfully installed OBIEE 11.1.1.3.0 on OEL 5.5 without any errors.
I was also able to log on to
1) http://myhostname:7001/console
2) http://myhostname:7001/em
3) http://myhostname:9704/analytics
I did not notice any errors, everything was running beautifully.
I decided to reboot and try to start up all the services. Here is what I did:
1. MYOBIEEPATH/user_projects/domains/bifoundation_domain/bin/startWebLogic.sh
2. MYOBIEEPATH/wlserver_10.3/server/bin/startNodeManager.sh
3. MYOBIEEPATH/user_projects/domains/bifoundation_domain/bin/startManagedWebLogic bi_server1 http://myhostname:7001
4. MYOBIEEPATH/instances/instance1/bin/opmnctl startall
I then went to verify that everything started up correctly.
1. went to http://myhostname:7001/console ..... looks good.
2. MYOBIEEPATH/instances/instance1/bin/opmnctl status

coreapplication_obisch1 .... alive
coreapplication_obijh1 .... alive
coreapplication_obips1 .... alive

3. went to http://myhostname:7001/em
The farm_bifoundation_domain had 62% up and 38% down.

biadminservices down
bimiddleware down
bioffice down
bipublisher down
bisearch down
mapviewer down
basically everything important.
I went to http://myhostname:9704/analytics and got a 404 error.
I also noticed in obiee em, the farm_bifoundation_domain did not have "Business Intelligence/CoreApplication" child.
Not sure where to go from here. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions on where to start.

I am sure the password is correct but its not loging me in.

Sol1:
Check MDS and BIPLATFORM users are locked or not.
If locked U have to alter the the users.

and check the internal applications are all in up or not if some services are down note the services and login to console -> click deployments ->and start the services which are in failed status.

We have both OBIEE 10.1.3.4 and BI Publisher installed in Linux environment. When I click on OBIEE dashboards/More Products/BI Publisher, I got the following error:

Hi,
I have fixed the issue. The reason for getting "Reporting Login Failed: Please contact administrator for your username/password." is in the credentialstore.xml file the username provided for bipublisheradmin alias is not available in the SSO (OID). I have given Administrator as the username and same password I have defined for Administrator password in the RPD. Administrator user in the RPD was also assigned all the 6 XML* groups as suggested by the installation guide.
However, when navigating from OBIEE to BI Publisher using the more products link, it was giving the above error. I have change the username to SSO user (for example orcladmin) and also added a row in custom security table we are using for the GROUP variable assignement through the init block block. Group Name is assigned as XMLP_ADMIN for orcladmin user in this custom security table. After doing these two changes, everything is working fine.

I am working on OBIEE 11G(11.1.1.5.0) write back feature. After all the steps which were mentioned in 11g Documentation , there's an Error message said "Write back Error" . No other detail information. Do you have any idea about it?

Also, we have multiple site collections on that web application, some were migrated from 2007 (we'll call one /sites/2007) and some were pure 2010 (we'll call one /sites/2010/). The error is only showing for the pure 2010 sites cols, while the migrated sites
cols are working fine. I'm still looking for other differences between the site cols.
Also, if I go into Central Admin > View web analytics reports > choose that web application, and go to Top Pages i can see stats for both /sites/2007/ and /sites/2010/ so the analytics are being captured for all site collections, I just can't access
the reports on the /sites/2010/ site collection due to the error above.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Look for the placeholder

Login error for User in OBIEE 11g

Hi All
I have created an User(TEST_USER) in oracle 11g
but for some i have to delete the user and recreate in the same name(TEST_USER)
but when i am trying to login in analytics after recreating the user am getting the followwing error.
"An error occurred during authentication. Try again later or contact your system administrator."
Please help.

XApp Analytics SCM: error in BEx query definition

I'm configuring the <i>SAP xApp Analytics for SCM</i>. The BEx query <i>Warehouse Stock Analytics Inventory Turnover</i> (0IC_C03_Q0024) is used in this application. It fetches data from the material movement BI InfoCube (0IC_C03).
Apparently there's an error in this query's definition. When I run it I get the following error message:
Variable 0CYEAR-1 is incorrectly defined (Message no. BRAIN284):
Variable 0CYEAR-1 has the processing type "Manual Input/Default Value". However, it is not input ready, and no default value has been specified.
Does anyone knows how either this query or this variable is supposed to work?

I gave all the paths correctly in apply_patches_import.txt as below and changed apply_patch.pl to use 7zip after installing the 7zip.

I belive there is a typo... Command should be:
$cmd = "$DOWNLOAD_EXE x $_[0] -o$PATCHES_HOME";

OBIEE 11.1.1.6 installation hangs without any error or warning

Hi all,
I'm trying to install OBIEE 11.1.1.6 on a previous 11.1.1.5 installation, on Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition. I followed the instructions on the "Oracle® Fusion Middleware Upgrade Guide for Oracle Business Intelligence 11g Release 1 (11.1.1)" manual, "Moving from 11.1.1.3 or 11.1.1.5 to 11.1.1.6" paragraph.
All checks give positive result but then installation hangs without any error or warning. I tried 3 times with the same behaviour.
Any suggestion? Anyone having similar problems?

The only error I get (in the Windows application event viewer) is:
[nQSError: 12002] Socket communication error at call=recv: (Number=10054) An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host

OBIEE SSO with AD@WIN03 Server: Can not login answers at all.

I am trying to configure SSO on following environment. But I am failing to log on answers using weblogic user.
Without ADAutho I am able to login but as soon as i setup the ADAuth with following information its failing.

Analytics Report error

We have a Pro account. We publish an iPad version only, single orientation, retail folio.
I have "marked" 5 articles as Ads in the Folio Producer panel in our May retail issue. When I view the Analytics report, there are only 3 articles reporting under the Ads tab. How could this be?

I set the Ads options first in FP, then published folio as Retail and Public.

Not able to see the Siebel Analytics login screen

I have installed Siebel Analytics 7.8.4 in my mahcine. IIS, Siebel Analytics Server, Siebel Analytics Web services are running up. I can able to open the repository files in online mode.
when i try to call "http://localhost/analytics/saw.dll?Answers", its throwing the error as "you are not authorised to view this page"
for the url "http://localhost:9703/analytics/saw.dll?Answers", getting the error as "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage"
could any one please suggest me how can I ovrcome this problem...
