OBIEE 11.1.1.6.4 NQS error 17001

Hi Gurus,
I am getting below error when trying to pull data from Noetix views (which are in OBIEE rpd)

Did lot of online search but seems like no one encountered this error (i dont see any results matching).
Please help me as this really bothers for the last couple of days.

Thanks Srini, actually we just unlocked and made that user "OPEN" and deleted cache in presentation services and re run the query, still we see same error.
FYI BI Server cache is disabled.
Do you think opmn bounce is required once we unlock user in database ?

    I just installed OBIEE 11.1.1.7 on my windows 64 bit. And trying to install OBIA 7.9.6.4 on the top of this . While installing I am getting an error :
    NQS Error : 47077 NQS Config.ini file was not found. Make sure your environment is set up properly.
    Pleasw help me out guys.. I am new to this OBIA installation.

    Good Afternoon..I've successfully installed OBIEE 11.1.1.7 on my windows 81. 64 bit Laptop..but when trying to open Admin Tool I'm facing NQS Error:47077, after a work around I found "Please down the attached file Technote1561846.1_InstallSecurity.zip and apply the solution"
    Have anyone faced this issue ? And have anyone downloaded and Installed the above type of solution ?

    NQS ERROR:14025 NO FACT TABLE EXISTS -after migrating from 10g to 11g, we are getting this error we are on OBIEE 11.1.16.0 we did set NO_FORCE_TO_DETAIL_BIN=1 But still having this issue.
    Please let me know if anybody resolved this issue.

    Can you tell me how you are setting this NO_FORCE_TO_DETAIL_BIN=1
    can you confirm value is 1 and not 1.0?
    You may use any existing init block to set 1 as default value instead of new init block using query.

  • Nqs error 59001: Binary logical operation error in OBIEE 11g

    Hi,
    Requirement: Need to calculate YTD for invoiced amount and Prior YTD for invoiced amount and last year total invoiced amount.
    Logic we used: For YTD Invoiced amount we used “Year To Date” time series function in rpd.
    For Prior YTD we used “Ago function on Calculated YTD column”.
    For Last Year Invoiced amount we used “ CASE function and dynamic variables” as:
    CASE WHEN year=valueOf(previous_year) THEN invoiced_amount END;
    Now, when I’m creating a report, I’m getting the following error as:
    *[nQSError: 43119] Query Failed: [nQSError: 59001] Binary Logical operation is not permitted on VARBINARY, INTEGER operand(s). (HY000)*
    Please help me to solve this, i need to release the instance by EOD

    As per my understanding the ValueOf(previous_year) is double precesion so it wont allow to use binary logical operator.Change to integer becos we can manage year with interger data type.
    [nQSError: 59001] Binary Logical operation is not permitted on DOUBLE PRECISION, VARBINARY operand(s).

  • OBIEE 11.1.1.6.0 installation error creating domain error

    Hi Gurus,
    I am trying to install OBIEE 11.1.1.6.0 32 bit in windows 7 RCU installed successfully but when i am installing 11G in at configuration progress for creating domain it is showing 0% only for long time and finaly it is showing creating domain failed.
    when i checked log files in the inventory(c:\oracle\inventory) folder i found one error file as below
    *'export' is not recognized as an internal or external command,*
    operable program or batch file.
    how i have to fix this error i tried more times it is showing the same error please any one help me.

    Still i am unable to install after making all configuration which you have posted in the above posts and it is showing some different error as below:
    In Err file (C:\Program Files\Oracle\Inventory\logs) it is showing

    In OUT file (C:\Program Files\Oracle\Inventory\logs) it is showing

    To continue, OPatch will do the following:

    and you suggested that to install software only what is the difference between simple and software only install any where i will try that and get back to you.

  • In obiee 11.1.1.6.2 analytics error "Invalid JSON payload ....."

    Hi Friends,
    We are use obiee 11.1.1.6.2 analytics in both Firefox and IE 7. When we save an report in catalog/shared/newfolder/report1 .After 10 mins or so, when we try to open it again , it pops up an error message about invalid json payload and report comes up correct later. That error only pops up for some fraction of second. Its irritating because it keeps on displaying on screen when you open any saved report . we tried clearing browser cache and still problem exist . I read other thread regarding this ,but could not resolve with their solution . please help

    Could you Clear the browser cache and re-load the page or log in to OBIEE.
    if its not working then try to Re-deploy the Analytics Application, using the file $Middleware_Home\Oracle_BI1\bifoundation\jee\analytics.ear

    I am facing an error in some of the iBots (Agents) migrated to 11g. Is it related to any Oracle Bug??

  • OBIEE 11g installing in Linux. domain creation error

    Hi,
    OBIEE 11g installing in Linux server now. domain creation is in progress for about an hour and in log I can see below error.
    Creating a new AdminServer Object ...
    AdminServer port is 7001
    Starting the domain ...
    java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: PermGen space
    java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: PermGen space
    java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: PermGen space
    domain creation is still running and looks like it is struck to start domain no idea how to solve the issue. waiting to see whether domain creation successful.
    Please let me know how to fix this issue.

    Hi,
    Have you try to increase MaxPermSize, it may occure memory issue.
    change the Middleware/ORACLE_BI1/oui/oraparam.ini and fine it like below
    JRE_MEMORY_OPTIONS=" -mx512m -XX:MaxPermSize=512m" then try to change it
    JRE_MEMORY_OPTIONS=" -mx2048m -XX:MaxPermSize=2048m"
    (i.e:It will increase the numbers for allocating more memory) then save it and then try to run config.bat (software only/enterprise) method and configure it.

  • OBIEE 11g on Windows 7 64 bit - Error while configuring????

    Hi Experts,
    I am installing OBIEE 11g on Windows 7 64 bit. And I followed below steps:
    1. Installed JDK 64 bit.
    2. Installed Weblogic Server with 64 bit JDK.
    3. Installed OBIEE 11g - Software only Installation.
    4. Ran configuration script. cofig.bat.
    5. Configuration Wizard opened and during the configuration process(step 10 of 11) got an error. Refer below screen shot for the error.
    6. I got the same error when I tried installing 11g on Win server 2003 32 bit and I installed JRocket MissionControl and reinstalled 11g and there are no errors.
    7. So, remembering that I installed JRocket Mission Control 64 bit.
    8. Un installed previous 11g.
    9. Reinstalled 11g on Windows 7 64 bit.
    10 And coming to configuration part it gave same error. Don't know what to do.............can any one help me at this point.

    Hi All,
    I've got the same error but with the installation of OBIEE 11g on Windows 32-bit.
    I also tried to continue the installation, but I've got another error in the Executing: opmnctl start coreapplication_obisch1.
    Even with those errors, I finished the installation but of course I've some problem with the presentation server and webLogic, becasue they're not configured properly.
    Any idea how to solve the problem?

  • OBIEE 10.1.3.2 version : 404 error when presentation services started

    Hi ,
    Installed OBIEE 10.1.3.2 in windows 7 in compatilibily mode
    And the BI server and presentation services started.
    then started the ocj4 instance and then started the presentation services but it resulted in a 404 error webpage instead of answers.
    Page referred is :
    http://user-pc:9704/analytics
    Normally its a localhost is what I see but this is different.
    Please guide me in identifying what went wrong

    I have the identical error message.
    It is definitely a bug. If anyone can prove me wrong, I'd be interested to hear.
    It comes up under certain scenarios.
    I have four metrics:
    "Sales" from sales table. Normal Summing Aggregation.
    "Markdown" from markdown table. Normal Summing Aggregation.
    "Test Metric" from inventory table. Normal Summing Aggregation.
    "Stock on Hand" from inventory table. Dimensional summing. LAST for time. Sum for all Other dimensions. (You don't add up the stock on hand for each day during the month, you look at your final position)
    I can do anything with the first three metrics and never see the error message.
    If I try to create a report:
    Product, Time, Stock on Hand, Sales, Markdown
    Then I see the error message.
    I can force the error to disapear by doing either of the following:
    A) If I move the Stock on Hand to the right so the report is:
    Product, Time, Sales, Markdown, Stock on Hand
    B) If I put "Test metric" anywhere on the report, then I no longer see the error message.
    There is a bug with the LAST aggregation function. I think the LAST time function would be a similiar sort of logic to YTD, AGO, etc... as noted above.
    Given from what I've seen, the only temporary workaround seems to be to add an extra metric to the report or to move certain metrics to the right side.

    Jay,
    After the installation were you able to start the OBIEE services and open the RPD in Online Mode?
    That should have been your first test to see if you had completed the installation correctly in regards to being able to create a new repository (RPD).
    You should be able to do this still. Start all BI Services. Then open the Admin Tool and open the the Online repository using the "weblogic" (or user you created during the installation) user credentials
    If you can connect then you may have something wrong with your installation.

  • OBIEE 11G - BI Publisher returning 500 internal error

    One of the user is getting the 500 internal error wheever she tries to view the BI Publisher report.
    1) It is a single sign-on set up. She is the only one who gets this error.
    2) She used her id and logged in some one elses computer and she WAS ABLE to view the BIP reports.
    3) It is her computer that gives this error.
    How to identify the root cause of the issue? I am thinking it could be one of the software installed in her machine, but which one should I check for?

    You need to setup SA System in order for BI EE security to work with BI Publisher. Setting this up will fix the error that you are listing below. Couple of options for you.
    1. Log an SR on supportweb to get sample RPD and table structure for the SA System
    2. check the 7.8.x documentation. It had a better description of the SA System than the 10.1.3.2 documentation does.
    3. I can email you an RPD and table structure that I have used.
    The only thing BIP needs in SA system is user name, group name and user to group assignment. This is needed for two screens in BIP (Roles and Permissions and JDBC connections). It's a bit annoying to have to set this up, but two good things to note. If you setup SA System, then you have additional options for delivery of iBots (that's what SA System is really designed for). The other is that BIP's dependence on SA System is going away in a future release. So this will get easier soon.
