OBIEE Admin Tool does not allow to modify any object

Hi,
I have this strange problem. I have OBIEE 11.1.1.6.2 client installed on my PC. I am trying to update RPD objects in offline/Online/MUD(I tried all three) mode but the Check Out button is greyed out for me. No matter what changes I do into Tools --> Utility, it stays greyed out. I have reinstalled the Admin tool again and but problem persist. I have admin rights on PC so privileges can't be an issue. From connection pool I can view the data or update the row count but can’t add/delete/modify anything else.
Any idea what’s wrong here? Any pointer for further research.

Login to Oracle Enterprise Manager Goto -> Business Intelligence -> coreapplication
Click - Capicity Managment Tab in Right side -> Performance -> Check Disable Disallow Online RPD Updates

It helps if you describe what happens when you try to move an object in Pages...the sequence of events that you go through.....
Close Pages and reboot your iPad then try again. If that doesn't work, post back with more detailed information.
To close an app, drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the app that you want to close and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

Cannot install updates - sys admin control does not allow - pc is no longer on the domain

When I try to run Windows update, it is not allowed due to system administrator is in control. The pc was on a domain, but is no longer.
I changed the registry keys and local security policy entries per multiple searches on the web.

You meant your PC had add into domain, but left afterwards, isn't it? It would be better to provide a screenshot for your error message.
How about create a new user account to make a test? This problem probably caused by Windows left domain imperfect.
In addition, you can also run gpresult /z >policy.txt command to check your current Policy settings if there is any policy disable Windows update.

Bug: Count Tool does not allow you to move counted item (Mac OS 10.7.3)

After placing a number using the count tool I was unable to move the number. I hovered over the number and the cursor changed but when I attempted to drag the number nothing occured and the cursor changed back to a "+" cursor. Thank you

I found a way to make it work. You drag then click somewhere else. Not very intuitive but it works.

"Server Admin" tool does not have proper listing of SMB Share directories

I've been stuck on this one for a while and am looking for any thoughts/help on how to unstick things.
BACKGROUND
I have an SMB share that works (about 10 users banging on it). There are lots of subdirectories to this share and all is fine. The share location is /Users/myshare and I can browse to directories that have the effective path of:
/Users/myshare/mydir1/subdir
/Users/myshare/mydir1/subdir2
PROBLEM
The problem is that Server Admin simply has lost some of the "subdir" directories. It just doesn't think they exist anymore. Specifically, when going into the Server Admin SMB panel under Share Points, I can select my sharepoint and Browse the directory structure.....I might see myshare/mydir1/subdir2 and subdir3 and subdir5, but Server Admin just won't see "subdir1" or "subdir4".
I have checked permissions, and "subdir1" and "subdir2" are identical. I have re-applied permissions and even run mdutil -E on the volume.
Does anyone know any what to force Server Admin to re-index it's listing of a sharepoint???

I ended up filing a formal bug through Apple on this one, as there was definitely and issue with something on the share and how permissions were propagating and Server Admin was pretty much worthless at browsing the share (and setting permissions).
The solution was painful, but basically involved: (a) Cloning the internal server drive and booting off of that. (b) Booting off the external clone, then deleting the entire /Users directory on the the original internal (c) cloning back to the internal drive (thereby replacing the /Users directory). Somehow this re-wrote permissions from scratch and fixed whatever corruption was stuck in the way.

SAP 2007 upgrade - does not allow to change old documents

We have recently upgrade to SAP 2007 from SAP 2005 and now it does not allow to change any of the old documents which was already in the system before upgrading.
Error message
Another user modified table [Message 131-183]
It gives the same error even after restarting the SAP server where SQL is runing and in all the user accounts including manager.

Disk Utility does not allow HDD to be erased

I am attempting to erase my Hard Drive so I can start from scratch and the disk utility tool does not allow me to erase. The hard drive is grayed out. I want to reimage my computer, but I cannot use the CD that came with it because it came with Snow Leopard, and I am running on Lion.
Please help, I need this. Thanks

You can not erase a drive you are booting the computer from. That would erase the operating system you are currently using.
You have to boot the computer from a inistall DVD or if you are using Lion from the Recovery HD partition. Or if you made or bought a Lion install USB thumb drive boot from that.
Then erase the drive and reinstall.

Would it be worth deleting my MSN account ant putting re-inputting the details again?

Your email provider has blocked the standard mail port 25 for sending emails and is requiring a different port. This is to avoid mail relays that use mail clients to send spam. You need to find the port that is used by your provider for sending outgoing mail. Then change the settings in your email account on your phone to match the port. You will also have to provide some security credentials for the account.
You can also try deleting the email account from your iphone, and the adding the email account back as this will many times set the correct port for sending emails.
You could also do a Google search on the the settings for your device with your email provider. That will provide you with the proper settings.

The site reporter tool does not work

There is an item in Firefox Help where you can report a Web site that does not work. Originally, a report database was available on line and you could review existing submissions. It seems that Mozilla has broken functionality in a supported browser, disregarding all users. The original reporter site redirects to a new feedback site. The problem with that site is that you have to install version 4 beta to use it, which is not nice at all. To add exploitation to disrespect, Mozilla tries to turn all customers into beta testers.

If you cannot close the Pen Tool by switching to another tool, as a temporary measure you may try pressing P (for Pen).
To solve it, you may try the list.
The following is a general list of things you may try when the issue is not in a specific file (you may have tried/done some of them already); 1) and 2) are the easy ones for temporary strangenesses, and 3) and 4) are specifically aimed at possibly corrupt preferences); 5) is a list in itself, and 6) is the last resort.
If possible/applicable, you should save curent artwork first, of course.
1) Close down Illy and open again;
2) Restart the computer (you may do that up to 3 times);
3) Close down Illy and press Ctrl+Alt+Shift/Cmd+Option+Shift during startup (easy but irreversible);
4) Move the folder (follow the link with that name) with Illy closed (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible);
5) Look through and try out the relevant among the Other options (follow the link with that name, Item 7) is a list of usual suspects among other applications that may disturb and confuse Illy, Item 15) applies to CC, CS6, and maybe CS5);
Even more seriously, you may:
6) Uninstall, run the Cleaner Tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC), and reinstall.

Having a problem with Firefox using Hotmail email. Inbox - as checking messages it freezes up or a 1 item window follows cursor and does not allow you to enter

I am having a problem accessing Hotmail email messages via Fireflox server. When I am in the Inbox, reviewing messages, it either freezes up or a "1 item" small icon window follows cursor and does not allow me to enter messages or do anything. Have to log off and start over. Suggestions>?

Can you detect any pattern to it, whether related to messages with attachments, or particular advertising on the page, etc.?
When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
1. Clear Firefox's Cache

2. If needed, delete the site's cookies here
While viewing a page on the site, right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
