Does anyone know where i can get a complete list of the available reports(requests) for Financial and HRMS Analytics. I have an incomplete copy from a seminar i attended, but cannot find where to get a complete list.

Please tell me which version you have use. 10g or 11g
if you are using OBIEE 11g then, New-> under Published Reporting -> Report.
if you have .rdf file then upload it and saved.
and simply create dashboard, drag and drop report into dashboard.

Here's some information from help. Variances can occur for the following reasons:
You have entered postings to the stock account manually.
The stock account includes not only stock postings, but also other postings. In this case, you should check the account determination in the Customizing for Valuation and Account Assignment. Make sure that the stock accounts are used solely for the transaction key BSX (stock postings).
Check Account Determination - OMWB
The account assignment for the stock accounts (transaction key BSX) was changed during productive operation; the respective stocks, however, were not deducted from the old account (movement type 562) and posted to the new one (movement type 561).

How to enable password request for restart and shutdown?

I'm neither a Linux nor an Arch Linux newbie, but inexperienced regarding this particular issue.
I want to enable password request for restart and shutdown and want to know if I'm mistaken, because trial and error might become to time-consuming while working on a project.

$ ls -hAl /usr/bin/shutdown

If I try to run $ shutdown -hP 28 or $ shutdown -c nothings happens, I need to run $ sudo shutdown -hP 28 and $ sudo shutdown -c and type a password. That's the way I want it.
If I e.g. run $ shutdown -r now no password is needed. I want to disable this. It should behave the same way as shutdown -hP/-c behave. I want to type
$ sudo shutdown -r now or $ sudo systemctl reboot etc. and then the password should be required.
$ sudo grep -vn "#" /etc/sudoers | grep [[:blank:]]
72:root ALL=(ALL) ALL
73:rocketmouse ALL=(ALL) ALL
The user "rocketmouse" should have all permissions after typing a password, but not without typing the password.

How can map to the Transpotation Process as well Vehicle information,
My company process is own manufacturing and internal transpotation arrangement, when delivery is required, thay are making delivery document and as well raise for the request arrange vehicle, then after making shipment document , when arrange vehicle maintain vehicle meter reading and time of going outside and time of comeing inside these details maintained here. and any problem of vehicle also maintained.

I have a really hard time understanding that requirement.... in none of our projects has this come up so far. What's the reasoning behind that?
I mean, if you do that, a can't request for a, and b can't request for b, but a can request for b, and b for a, right?
So, the only reasoning behind that would be some kind of SoD separation between requester and user (which serves no real purpose, does it??).
If you want to limit the people that can request at all to a certain group, set authetication source to UME and give only those users a UME account.
Or, if you want SoD, set "approve/reject own request" to "no" in end user personalization, so the approver can not be the same persoin as the requester.
If none of these suit you, maybe you can explain in a bit more detail what you're trying to achieve.

Report Requirment for YTD and individual fisc periods

I have a requirement in the report that should have the below structure

Char1 Char1 FiscalPer                                                APR 2010 MAY2010 .... MAR2011
Fiscal Year and Fisc period are in column and Char1 and Char2 are in Rows of the report.
For a particular year alone, I need the actual amount splitted on fiscal year period and rest of the past and furture years the actual amount should be aggregated for the year.
Please let me know if have come across this scenario.

I am assuming your scenario as followes -
If User enters year(user entry variable) - 'Y1', You need to display key figs by - 'Y1Period 1'....... 'Y1Period 12'. For rest of the years(future and past from Y1), data should be aggregated and displayed per year.
The solutions would be -
Create Restricted Key Figs, for Y1Period1 - restrict it to user entry variable for year(Y1) and then to posting period hard coded to 1. Similalry create rest of the key figs for each period by changing the hard coded period value for 1 through 12.
Create restricted key fig for past years from Y1 - restrict it to user entry variable for year(Y1) and then add offset of '-1'. Simmilarly create rest of key figs for other previous years by increaing offset -2, -3 so on.
Create restricted key fig for future years from Y1 - restrict it to user entry variable for year(Y1) and then add offset of '+1'. Simmilarly create rest of key figs for other future years by increaing offset +2, +3 so on.

Print automatically a request for quotation and purchase order

I create a new message ZNEU and I link a new form.
I want the system creates automatically the message ZNEU when I save my request for quotation.
In transaction NACE, I specify the output type ZNEU
My Access sequence is 0001 DocType/PurchOrg/Vendor
I specify a procedure RMBEA1 Purchasing RFQ
Then I put in step 10 the condition type ZNEU and a requirement 101
I just copy the message NEU in ZNEU.
And in condition record ( tcode MN02) I create the output type with combinaison purchasing output determintation document type.
With all these datas I haven't anything when I save the RFQ?
I have the same problem with purchase order.
Anybody have an idea?

Hi,
For RFQ create outut condition using MN01 transaction give your output tpe ZNEU and choose the option doc type as AN and give your purchase group.give transmission medium 1 and time 4.In communication method give printer name and tick print immediately and save.Then while creating RFQ for that purchase group message will come automatically.
For PO create output condition using MN04 transaction and document type is EF.Repeat the same like RFQ.

How to set a report culture for number and date

Is there a way to change the report locale for the number and date?
I've tried using both CrystalDecisions.Share.SharedUtils.RequestLCID and CrystalReportViewer.SetProductLocale and neither work
The only one that work is to use the Thread.Culture. But that also change the application culture, not just the report.
Anyone have a solution?

Hi Michel,
I don't believe you can do this within just the report itself but I haven't played with this very much. Because the App hosts the Viewer it's based on it's culture.
You should be able to mix if you create a separate thread for each report job that way they are in their own space.
Search the Object browser on celocale and you'll find more info. Also the SDK help file should have examples.
No API's to use the Engine, had to use RAS.
Need to know what version you are using also and WEB or Windows app?
Here are some samples using RAS:
rpt1.ReportClientDocument.LocaleID = CrystalDecisions.ReportAppServer.DataDefModel.CeLocale.ceLocaleGerman;
CrystalDecisions.ReportAppServer.DataDefModel.CrFieldDisplayNameTypeEnum.crFieldDisplayNameFormula, CrystalDecisions.ReportAppServer.DataDefModel.CeLocale.ceLocaleUserDefault);
And using this way you may have to alter every object in the report.

Lpadmin - request for username and password - not responding correctly

Recently updated to a new computer and 10.5.7.
A printer was paused (somehow). Tried to resume printing and got a request for an lpadmin administrator user name and password. Mine is the only account on this computer. Put in my user name and password, but this was rejected. If I tried 3 times I was told to try later (and given my password hint). However, after clicking OK to this dialogue the action WAS taken.
Same thing happened when I tried to add a printer. It will not accept my username and password, but if I persist until I get the message to try again later, the printer WAS added.
So, I am back to having a printer, but this seems like a bug.

Reporting commitments for IO and Cost Centre

Hello Help!
I need your expertise please ..
When reporting on a cost centre's commitments in Y_DEV_17000159, the commitments posted to the internal order (which is also attached to the cost centre) does not appear in the report.
However, when I do a report on the cost centre only, it shows commitments except the IO. And when I execute a report on the IO, it shows all IO commitments.
Is there a way to report on both IO and cost centre commitments in the one report?
P.S. the order does have Statistacal Postings enabled.

When you post to Real internal Order, and Cost Center.
The Internal Order will take precedence always. Cost center posting will become statistical.
To your question "whether IO and Cost Center co-exists in one transaction?"
Yes, very much, many cases this happens normally for transactions related to marketting campaigns etc

While the Server\Service shows good results in the Tuxedo Reports we have noticed the there are huge delays due the TMQFORWARD long commits.
1. Is there is a way to monitor TMQFORWARD ?
2. Are there any other tools we can use to monitor the commit portion of the global transaction chain ?

The TMQUEUE server\service can be monitored as any other Service. we couldn't find a way to monitor TMQFORWARD.

The best way to monitor TMQFORWARD and transaction commit times are with TSAM. TSAM can give you detailed commit time processing and help you identify the resource manager that is causing the slow commits.

Nokia 808 Pureview feature request for Phone and C...

Hi,
Where would be the best venue to make feature requests for the 808 functions? These are some nice-to-have ideas that I would like to propose, which would increase its awesomeness:
- in video mode, add a "lock exposure" setting so that the 808 doesn't continuously adjust exposure after recording starts. this would be equivalent to setting the exposure to manual on a regular videocam.
- in photo creative mode, add a voice-activated self-timer, where it would take a shot when sound reaches a certain threshold. this is similar to what the Shout 'n Snap app does for the android.
- in phone calls, add an option to use proximity sensing, so that when you take the phone away from your ear, the handset automatically switches to speaker phone, or vice versa. this would be equivalent to the Phone Speakers Switcher on the N900.

i'd like to make an addendum to my request and change it to "lock exposure and white balance".
i just found that while shooting, it does not keep the white balance setting throughout. for example, select "tungsten" and the video will start with this, but later it adjusts as if it was under "auto" white balance setting for the rest of the video.

Disabling the customizing request for GJG1 and GJG2

Our configurator are customising the data in the 'Change actual distribution cycle for joint venture' segments. For every segment / distribution cycle change, its prompting the customizing change request. we want to avoid creating customizing request for every segment and treat this as master data. The transaction is question are GJG1 and GJG2 and Tables: T811C, T811F, T811K.
Is there a table or transaction where it can disable from creating a transport in STMS for each change for segment allocation?
how to change the Assessment Cycles not be a transportable?

ideally in Production , these will be set as non editable , and hence the request is being created so that the same can be transported.
If this is happening in Dev , how do you want the changes to be carried forward ,
otherwise if it is in PRD , is it allowed to create local objects in production ?
This will be a BASIS setting .
