I have a situation in our prod. SCCM site where deleted packages still have their object content information visible in Content status in SCCM. Has anyone faced the same issue?

Determine if Object is Marked For Deletion

Hello,
How can I determine if an object is marked for deletion in a UnitOfWork? Is there a UnitOfWork method I can use to determine this?
I am querying for an object that may have been deleted in the current UnitOfWork. I am trying to avoid conforming the results of the query so I can avoid hitting the database, but I must make sure I don't find objects that are marked for deletion.
Any suggestions are appreciated.

The UnitOfWork interface currently lacks a method available on the concrete implementation. The UnitOfWork.isObjectDeleted(object) will return true if the object has been passed into UnitOfWork.deleteObject(object). It will not include objects that are being automatically deleted at commit due to them being removed from privately-owned relationships.
For 9.0.4.x I would have to recommend using:
((oracle.toplink.publicinterface.UnitOfWork) uow).isObjectDeleted(empWC)
Beyond 9.0.4 we will have this method added to the interface so that you will not need to cast to the implementation class.

SC still visible in check status even after GR and Invoice

Hello all,
We are on SRM 4.0 SP 4.0.
Normally SCs for which GR and invoice has been done should not be visible in the SC check status application if you dont select the "Include completed shopping carts". TBut in some cases though we have selected the "Delivery Completed" indicator in backend PO but still there are some shopping carts still visible in check status application in SRM. The values for the GR and invoice should have status of "Fully confirmed".
For such shopping carts when i manually run the report BBP_GET_STATUS_2 it replicates the correct status and the SCs disappear from the SC check status application.The BBP_GET_STATUS_2 and the CLEAN_REQREQ_UP programs are scheduled every 5 mins.
Any hints or ideas will be much appreciated.

Hi Sambit,
In Check status, in extended search check whether the incuding completed shopping carts check box was checked or not.
If the check box was checked then even the completed shopping carts get displayed.
Please let me know if this is not the case.

My ipod touch still contains information for deleted songs

I have recently attempted to erase the music on my ipod touch. I have suceeded in removing the music using Settings>General>Usage>Music>Edit>Remove
I used this method because Synch did not work on my Itunes. I removed itunes and reinstalled with latest version and it synchs ok.
The problem I have is when I open Music on my ipod touch, I still see all the original albums / album artwork and songs listed - the songs are grey and do not play. I was expecting the song list to be completely empty??
Please help as this is very frustrating.

Go to Settings>itunes and App Store and turnoff Show All. That way only music doenloaded on the iPod will show in the Music app. Otherwise all music will show and and music not download with have a cloud icon by it.

Deleted Packages still on HDD

Hello.
Quick question..
I have an SCCM package that I have deleted with Package ID PAS00036.
Now the package is no longer visible in SCCM console , because I deleted it ,DUH!
But I can still see the package has a folder names PAS00036 under SMSPKGSIG and also under \SCCMContentLib\DataLib... also under \SCCMContentLib\PkgLib....
I am only only asking because I don't want Database corruption or something serious to go wrong. Also those files are taking space on my SCCM Server...
There are also other packages on those folders which i cannot see in SCCM console might have deleted them earlier...

Since no one has answer this post, I recommend opening a support case with CSS as they can work with you to solve this problem.

Content Distribution for updated Packages and Applications failing on DP's

Hi all,
Since installing SP1 for SCCM 2012 we have noted that our content distribution success rate has gone down considerably
We have a CAS, 5 Primaries and 78 DP's hanging off the various Primaries
The issue is with existing content by which it is failing on 90% of DP's when we update a package/application. Please note when we push out fresh, brand new content we get a 100% success rate
This is causing us a bit of a headache as we regularly update our OSD driver packages aswell as the security update packages
When we redistribute or update content we are presented with the below 'retying rename of' on random DP's with the content eventually erroring out
Each DP is the same, by which windows 2008 OS, Antivirus which is configured not to scan the D:\ volume and no mirroring enabled or alike configured
Is anyone else experiencing the same issue on content push?

Did you upgrade your DPs from 2007? If so, I'm experiencing the same issue.

Deleted folders still visible in thunderbird

I have deleted/rearranged some folders in my Microsoft outlook exchange account, and it is not updating in my Thunderbird. It did update some of the new folders that I created, but deleted folders are still there. When I try to delete them, it gives me an error message. Also, even the ones deleted without any error will show up again whenever I start Thunderbird again. I have deleted an outlook account and re-registered it, but the list of folders are still there. Should I try to completely uninstall Thunderbird? I wasn't sure if this will help either when reloading my account didn't help.

Sounds like you have an IMAP mail account.
Thunderbird remembers what you have subscribed to see.
If you want to delete a folder:
In Thunderbird,
Do you have emails in that folder you need to save?
If yes, make sure you have copied or moved emails in Local Folders
then unsubscribed from seeing the folder.
In webmail account:
Delete the folder.
So, if you have already deleted the folder off the server, have you unsubscribed from seeing it ?

Content Viewer for iPad is still broken.

Yikes.
I've got 3 folios giving me update messages when there are no updates.
I go to update one of the folios, and the app crashes as soon as I hit the Update button.
Another folio updates okay, but crashes as soon as I tap View.
Adobe?

One folio simply refuses to update and crashes every time. Signed out in order to archive...app crashes upon hitting Archive. Finally able to get rid of it and redownload
Now the redownload is taking forever. Mayhap there's a server problem?
This is just painful.

Purchasing Info Record marked for deletion

Hi experts,
I need some explanation on Purchasing Info Records and more precisely on the deleted ones.
Could you tell me why a Purch. Info Record that is marked for deletion is still set when a PO is created?
In ME13 I have the following warning message : 06-718 (Purchasing info record & & & & flagged for deletion).
In ME21N the same message is displayed as warning and users are able to save the PO with the deleted Info Record.
I don't understand why SAP still retrieves Info Records that are marked for deletion...
Is there a way to prevent SAP from using deleted info records?

Hi Philippe,
The message 06718 can be set as an error or warning in customising.
If message 06718 is set as error then system will not allow to save
the document with that info record.
The deletion indicator is the reservation to delete this record. But
this is not comparable with the deletion of the record from the database
This has to be done within the archiving run for the object MM_EINA.
Untill this inforecord is not archived the data is taken as usual."
Online documentation provides the following information
"You cannot delete obsolete info records immediately. You can
only flag them for subsequent deletion. Info records earmarked for
deletion in this way are not actually deleted until the archiving
program is run. This is done at regular intervals by your system
administrator. You can flag an individual info record for deletion,
or create a list of deletion proposals and choose the relevant records
that are to be deleted from this list."

Where is stored? - Maintenance plan marked for deletion.

Hi all in wich table is stored that a maintenance plan is fixed to delete? I can not see in table mpla ... and i don't know how toi check if the plan is marked for deletion.
Anybody know in wich table and field is this indicator stored?

this is a bit tricky: the information is in table JEST (statuses).
MPLA-OBJNR = JEST-OBJNR
there should a status for deletion, pls. note there are system statuses and user statuses.

Can a PO be generated using Info record marked for deletion

Hello all,
Is it possible that PO be generated using Info record marked for deletion?
Observed that a info record is marked for deletion but still able to see a PO generated using this info record.
Is this becasue - PO can be generated untill info record is actually deleted from the system during next reorganization run?
What is reorganization run?

Do you mean that info record is "deleted" or "marked for deletion"?
2. Any way, is there difference between two - "deleted" or "marked for deletion"?
3. Where in the info record I can see history of marking for deletion to see who and when marked it for deletion?
4. Observed that there is a message that comes up that info record is marked for deletion.
Is there indication on info record itself like - permanent record, tick mark to indicate that it is marked for deletion?

LMS3.1 psu problem - Consistency check failed for base package

Hi all,
I tried to install the following packges for CiscoView 6.1.9:
Rtr2900.cv50.v2-0.zip
Rtr3900.cv50.v2-0.zip
but it gives me the following error:
Consistency check failed for base package NGMARShare
There are no Packages to be installed.
I uninstalled all packages and installed them again after I copied these two packages in the packages sources folder but it failed again.
Any one can help?

the new package you try to install depends on a package that you don't have
DEPENDENT PACKAGE
=================
DtShare V1.5 (DtShare.cv50.v1-5.zip)
this can be seen from the error message you got
"Consistency check failed for base package DtShare"
my advice is to read the "Release Information" for the packages you try to install
you can find the Release Information in the same page of the download.
hope this helps,
also it's better to update all the device packages if your server have internet connectivity from CS > Software Center > device update.
