Object informations

Dear Friends,
We have defined the basic settings for object information .But still we need to have to call it manually when notification or order is created. How to open the Object information window automatically when creating a notification or Order?The other things is i want to know whether Is it possible to assign catalog profile for technical objects other than Notifications?

hi have you assigned your object information key to order types?
this will automatically display object information key.
then you have to assign object information key to notification types
hope it will solve your problem.
thanks

    Select the image you'd like to use as the placeholder, and assign it a "name" in the Inspector - also make sure that the name only contains standard letters, numbers or underscores and starts with a letter (no spaces or punctuation). Does it show up in the Actions menu after that?

    Thanks Mohan Kumar,
    I check the source system, it is ok.
    However, under that column, I used to have a active/inactive symbol which will tell me whether
    the connection is ok or not, now the symbol is gone, so I have to check to see whether the
    related source system ok or not.
    Could you see the symbol in your system? My BI7 ides was SP70009, now I updated to SP70016...

  • Table to look for the test object information

    Hello everybody,
    I am working on solution manager and i was wondering if there were a way to get the informations i had directly in tables using the SE16 transaction. So my question is the following: is there a way to extract data like test plan, status text, test object, test instructions, user, date, time from SAP tables. Thank you in advance for your answer.
    Best Regards

    Julius
    Looking at another of Tracy's other post (http://scn.sap.com/thread/3598947) she's trying to use ACL. Hence needing to know the tables to write joins/queries to hit tables within ACL
    I've seen ACL used and have had the fun experience of Auditors using Google to find tables to perform checks on without context of what has actually been implemented in their particular system.

  • Hide objects/information on recorded slide

    Hello,
    I want to hide information and objects on the recorded slides
    in my project. So that if I publish them, you can't see that
    specific info. Is it possible in Captivate?
    Thx

    Hi SoSch and welcome to our community
    Indeed you may and it's easier than you think. I do this by
    inserting a Highlight Box object. Configure the Border to 0 and the
    Fill Color to match the area you are hiding. The eyedropper tool is
    so good for this! Then position the highlight box over what you
    want to hide.
    Here's the cool part. Often, the area you want to hide
    appears across multiple slides. I then copy the Highlight Box
    object from where I created it, select the slides where I also need
    it and paste. Poof! It's pasted on all the selected slides
    in exactly the same place it was copied from which means I
    don't have to futz with positioning it!
    As a final step, you may choose to right click the Highlight
    Boxes and merge them into the background. This has the same effect
    as if you had popped the background into an image editor and
    blotted out the undesired or sensitive information.
    Hopefully this was helpful... Rick

  • Objects information

    Hi all ,
    I have some doudt on the object sharing information.I have two class A,B.
    If Any changes in A class how to get that changed information in B class.

    What about objects that share the same model? Once the model is updated, then every object using it will have the same information. Here's a class that can share a model.
    public class Foo
      FooModel model;
      public void setModel(FooModel fm) {
        model = fm;
      public String toString() {
        return model.toString();
    }Now here is the Model for the Foo class.
    public class FooModel
      String data;
      public void setData(String text){
        data = text;
      public String toString(){
        return data;
    }Now to test it out.
    public class Test
      public static void main(String[] args)
        Foo foo1 = new Foo();
        Foo foo2 = new Foo();
        FooModel fooModel = new FooModel();
        foo1.setModel(fooModel);
        foo2.setModel(fooModel);
        fooModel.setData("Hello World");
        System.out.println(foo1); //Hello World
        System.out.println(foo2); //Hello World
        fooModel.setData("Goodbye Cruel World");
        System.out.println(foo1); //Goodbye Cruel World
        System.out.println(foo2); //Goodbye Cruel World
    }

  • Accessing View Object Information from JSP

    Hi!
    I know that my question it's a basic one, but I'm having some problems. Let me start by describing my problem.
    I need to implement an navigation select box to one table (this table will be a result of a query). I'm "building" the select box with a <c:forEach> iterator. Well, the problem starts where:
    <%-- Makes a kind of Math.ceil(double) --%>
    <c:set var="resultInDouble" value="${(binding.estimatedRowCount-1)/binding.rangeSize +1}" />
    <c:set var="resultInDoubleZero" value="${resultInDouble - resultInDouble % 1}"/>
    <fmt:formatNumber value="${resultInDoubleZero}" var="resultInt" pattern="0"/>
    <select name="select" >
    <c:forEach var="SelectBoxItems" begin="1" end="${resultInt}">
    </c:forEach>
    </select>
    As you can see, first I need to calculate the number of "<option> ... </option" I need to put on the select box, and I do that by making an ceil method emulation (for those that doesn't know ceil, it rounds up a division, like 7/3 = 3). To do this ceil I need to call the estimatedRowCount. And that's the problem: when I call estimatedRowCount, the query that I previous made is repeated to calculate the numberOfRows returned. As you can imagine, I don't want to re-execute the query, but only get the number of all rows.
    One solution that I thought, was in the Java Controller File for this page, use the method associated with the ViewObject getRowCount(), that doesn't re-execute the query. With this idea, I would construct the select box with java code, something like this:
    <select name="select" >
    <%
    int ceilResult = Math.ceil(viewObject.getRowCount(),viewObject.getRangeSize());
    for (i = 0;i<ceilResult;i++) {
    %>
    <option> ... </option>
    <% } %>
    </select>
    But with this idea, I hanged with a problem: "How do I in JSP, can "see" the view object?".
    Basically i only need a small example source, that in Java Controller File can get the iterator to make the return of the ViewObject getRowCount method.
    Does anyone have any idea how to solve this problem, or maybe a new approach ?
    Tiago Soares
    P.S. I've already tried some others (attempts of) solutions, but they didn't worked. I didn't posted their description, because I was afraid that anyone would read this post, because of the size of it. :)

    First of all, please stop reposting this question. Post it once and someone will probably reply to it.
    Secondly, you can expose methods of a view object through it's dialog (I think) or you will have to do it in the Application Module.. But it may suit your need better to create a transient column on you VO (one that exists only in memory) and store your value in that.

  • How do I pull object information out of a vector.

    I started in VB, and am now developing with java, so I'm finding small trip-ups which are to be expected.
    Anyways, I'm trying to get an object element from an object in a vector.
    I tried this, but it wouldn't return the "Name" query method:
    System.out.println(myvector.get(0).Name.toString);
    The object is a "Product" which I made the class for and everything. I even tried using typecast with no avail:
    System.out.println((Product)myvector.get(0).Name.toString);
    This is prolly one of the most basic things, yet I've found nothing on object attribute retrieval from a vector on google and wikipedia for that matter.

    Yea, it is..sorry
    The Product class looks like this:
    public class Product
    private int mProductID;
    private String mName;
    private double mPrice;
    private int mQuantity;
    // Update Methods
    public void ProdID(int id) {mProductID = id}
    public void Quantity " "
    etc
    etc
    // Query methods
    public int ProdID() {return this.mProductID;}
    etc
    etc
    Basically, I want a function in my main class to accept a Vector filled with product objects and calculate a sum of all the products and return a double type value.
    I'm fine with manipulating the vector, I just don't know how to state the function.

  • How to find out the Gradient Object Information?

    Is it possible to find out wheather the textframe contains "gradient object" or not through programmatically(Vbscript or javascript). Kindly advice me, also please provide any examples.

    If I have correctly understood question, then it easy:

    Set mydoc = appRef.ActiveDocument
    myselection = mydoc.Selection
    Set objFSO = CreateObject("Scripting.FileSystemObject")
    Set objTextFile = objFSO.CreateTextFile("c:\color.txt", True)
    For Each ch In myselection(0).Characters
    Select Case mydoc.DocumentColorSpace
    Case aiDocumentCMYKColor
    c = Round(ch.CharacterAttributes.FillColor.Cyan, 2)
    m = Round(ch.CharacterAttributes.FillColor.Magenta, 2)
    y = Round(ch.CharacterAttributes.FillColor.Yellow, 2)

    Case aiDocumentRGBColor
    r = Round(ch.CharacterAttributes.FillColor.Red, 2)
    g = Round(ch.CharacterAttributes.FillColor.Green, 2)
    be = Round(ch.CharacterAttributes.FillColor.Blue, 2)
    objTextFile.Write ("R=" & r & " : " & "G=" & g & " : " & "B=" & be & chr(10) & chr (13))
    End Select
    Next
    objTextFile.Close

  • Canvas objects' information to XML

    What is the best way to create an XML file with the
    information of a canvas container's elements?
    Say the canvas has a panel with a background color, then the
    XML file would look something like this:
    <canvas>
    <panel backgroundColor="#222222"/>
    </canvas>
    Thanks!

    You can walk the run-time dom using container methods and
    properties like getChildAt() and numChildren. className will return
    a sting you could use for the main node name. You will have to
    decide which attributes whose values you want to record.
