Object Libraries not opening at startup

Hi,
Some of the developers in the project I
am involved in are having trouble with
Forms 6.0
The Object Livraries they open in a session
are not re-open the next time they start
Forms.
Does anyone I an idea of what might cause
this ?

AFAICT, that info's stored in your com.apple.loginitems.plist file.

Attaching/Subclassing Object Libraries Without Opening in 6i FMB

Hi All,
Our requirement is to subclass a object group which contains different set of elements in it. (i.e. Blocks, Property classes, Canvas etc) how can we subclass this OLB in a form without opening the form in a 6i Builder. Tried the header functions available in Forms C API but i find no API which allows this type of operations to be done for object libraries. We have successfully automated such redundant activities for other items like canvas, items etc.
Can you suggest a way to achieve this in a object library, if its possible. Because we need to do this for nearly 500+ forms. Why we are thinking of this alternative is because of the fact that if we have these elements said above in a object group of a template form, we will have to drag and drop this object group in each forms from template form.
Its a new object group and we are not in a position to add the newly created elements into any other existing object group because of few other reasons which may disturb the existing functionality, because if we can do that recompiling all forms against template form will have the newly created elements reflected.
Hope i have conveyed it clearly, please comment and advice to achieve our requirement.

This is not possible with Forms 6i. Referred with Oracle Support for this Issue.

Firefox will not open on startup and takes over system resorces. Uninstalled. When attempting to reinstall, installer will not run from website, and can not save file to HD. No error message, it just never appears.

After a system reboot, Firefox would not open. I opened the task manager, and saw that Firefox was using alot of memory, and was using 50% of the CPU. I ended the process, and restarted. The situation just repeated several time.
I uninstalled Firefox using uninstall programs from the control panel.
I then tried to run the Firefox installer from the website, it would open the download window, then the "run the install" window. After clicking "Run", the window just closes. So I attempted to just download the install file, and clicked "Save". I tried to save the file to several different locations. A download window would open, and run, but the file would not be there.
I was running 3.6.12, the current version. And that is was I tried to install. After that failed, I also tried to install the beta 4, with the same results.
No error messages have opened, and I have run scans for malware/spyware, and didn't see anything that jumped out as a problem. I am running Win Explorer right now. And it is running fine, but I much prefer my Firefox.

Smart object will not open in CS4

I have Lightrooom 4.2 and Photoso CS4. When I try to open a RAW file as a smart object in CS4, Photoshop opens but the image does not appear. There is no error message. Any ideas on how to get the image to open?

Your application versions aren't in sync, so this just won't work I'm afraid: CS4 is (roughly) four years behind LR4 and the version of ACR that comes with PS CS4 (5.x - should be on 5.7) won't be able to interpret the edits you've carried out in LR4, assuming you're using the latest process version with the new slider controls.
Very surprised you're not getting any error messages or warnings though. Maybe you switched them off in Lightroom?

Events and Libraries not opening or switching

For some reason, I can not switch between events or libraries in FCPX 10.1. The event viewer just stays at whatever library or event that it was one when Final Cut opened. This problem just started happening. The program also freezes on launch at "Restoring window layout" I fixed that by reseting my prefrences with Prefrence Manager from Digital Rebellion. This fixes the problem until I try to switch between Libraries or events. Once I try that, nothing chances, libraries dont switch and events wont open (Other than the event that Final Cut opened when the program launched). Then when I restart the program, it hangs at "Restoring Window Layout" again and never opens anything other than a blank grey window.
Has anyone had this issue or know of possible cause/solution?

That gets me into Final Cut, but say Library A is open. If I click on Library B, nothing changes but it seems to select it. All that is shown is footage and projects from Library A. I can't switch to Library B, C, D or anything. In Library A, I can't change events either.
It seems that once I click Library B and it "Selects" it but doesnt show the contents of Library B, it corrupts the layout prefrence. It thinks Library B is open but in the event viewer, its showing Library A events and footage.

HT1379 Why Adobe Illustrator CS6 does not open on startup

I just downloaded this from Adobe Creative Cloud membership. All other apps work except this one.
Any clues?

System requirements... Multicore Intel processor with 64-bit support
Core Duo processors do not support 64Bit. Essentially, if you can run OS 10.7, then CS6 apps are fine. Your machine won't run 10.7 (due to lack of 64bit support). You need a Core 2 Duo or better. If you do indeed have an Intel Core Duo MacBook Pro, it's much older than 3 or 4 years. The Core Duo MacBookPros were 2006 machines.

Finder not opening automatically

Have just taken delivery of a brand new iMac and was excited at seeing Mountain Lion in action. However, after just a few short days, am noticing that Finder isn't opening/launching automatically on startup, although the 'light' is on in the Dock. I have to click on the icon to get it visible which I know shouldn't be the case as someone who has been using Macs for a few years. Would be grateful if anyone has any advice/tips on how to resolve this issue as it's annoying, especially on a new machine.

PS Safari also not opening at startup even though it's listed in the login items along Mail which is opening fine. Googled and found a work around for the Safari problem which involved dragging a webpage to Desktop then saving that and listing the webpage address in the login items but can't see how to do the same for Finder.

Bootup holding CMD+r, or the Option/alt key to boot from the Restore partition & use Disk Utility from there to Repair the Disk, then Repair Permissions.

Programmes opening at startup

When i startup my macbook pro it automatically opens iphoto and ivideo even though they are "unticked" to not open on startup e.g in the dock the open at startup box is unticked.
What should i do to prevent them from opening at startup?

Are you running Lion?
If you have set "Restore windows when quitting and reopening apps" then iPhoto and Aperture might also be restored at start up if they are open whn you log out.
Uncheck System Preferences -> General -> Restore windows when quitting and reopening apps
and also uncheck "Restore Windows" when you log out.

"Object reference not set to an instance of an object" when opening designer

I have a Windows Forms project which was originally developed in Visual Studio 2010. I migrated the project to VS2013, and now every time I open the project's main form, the designer complains of a null reference. If I hit "Ignore and Continue",
the code compiles just fine. The error in question appears in the "Windows Form Designer generated code" region. Even more curious, the line in question is not the first reference to the object. It's as if the first few times it needs to interact
with the object, it's fine, then at a certain point it becomes null.

I have made a research about your issue, and I found it might be caused by the usercontrol in the project. Was “this.optionsControl” a UserControl? It seems that this issue was difficult to handle.
If possible, I would recommend you recreate this control in a new project.

"Object reference not set to an instance of an object" error while accessing document libraries after in place upgrade to SP 2010

I performed an inplace upgrade on my sharepoint 2007 installation and post the upgrade while trying to browse the document libraries on the site i get the following Error. HAs anyone encountered a similair error?? What could be the cause and resolution
for this

E5 - unable to open. object type not supported

hi.
2 Month back i brought Nokia E-5 Mobile and after few weeks i upgraded the Memory from 2Gb to 8GB. After copying all files from 2gb to 8gb am not able to open or install any existing programs and files. Even maps are not working. When trying to open or install the files am getting this erro " unable to open object type not supported " . Kindly help on this error.

I have never attempted what you did, so can't say for certain, but I don't think memory card data is meant to be copied from one card to another (unless we're talking about data files like pictures or mp3's). I don't understand what you mean by being unable to install files. Are you trying to reinstall the programs that aren't working? If your 2GB card still works normally, I suggest you format the 8 GB card, reinstall the programs to the empty card, and re-download the maps data. If the programs still give you trouble, you may need to uninstall them from the 2 GB card first, but I don't think that should be necessary. I hope that helps.

Suddenly, one of my iPhoto Libraries will not open, or rather iPhoto opens, but says there are no photos in the file. However, when I backed it up and looked into it otherwise, the images 86gigs are still there in the file. What to do??

Suddenly, one of my iPhone libraries will not open with 86 gigs of images: it opens and says there are no photos, yet by other looking, all the images are there and when backing up, it takes an hour.

To move from iPhoto 08 (which is v7) to iPhoto 11 (which is v9) requires that you purchase iPhoto 11. Your software update is running just fine. V7.1.5 is last version of iPhoto 08.
Never import one Library to another. Every version and thumbnail is imported like a distinct photo, you lose all your Albums, Keywords etc., the link between Original and Previews is destroyed, the non-destructive editing feature is ruined and so on. In summary: it's mess.
As to the problematic library:
Try these in order - from best option on down...
1. Do you have an up-to-date back up? If so, try copy the library6.iphoto file from the back up to the iPhoto Library (Right Click -> Show Package Contents) allowing it to overwrite the damaged file.
2. Download <a href="http://www.fatcatsoftware.com/iplm/"><b><u>iPhoto Library Manager</b></u></a> and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.
3. If neither of these work then you'll need to create and populate a new library.
To create and populate a new *iPhoto 08* library:
Note this will give you a working library with the same Events and pictures as before, however, you will lose your albums, keywords, modified versions, books, calendars etc.
In the iPhoto Preferences -> Events Uncheck the box at 'Imported Items from the Finder'
Move the iPhoto Library to the desktop
Launch iPhoto. It will ask if you wish to create a new Library. Say Yes.
Go into the iPhoto Library (Right Click -> Show Package Contents) on your desktop and find the Originals folder. From the Originals folder drag the individual Event Folders to the iPhoto Window and it will recreate them in the new library.
When you're sure all is well you can delete the iPhoto Library on your desktop.
In the future, in addition to your usual back up routine, you might like to make a copy of the library6.iPhoto file whenever you have made changes to the library as protection against database corruption.

Custom object in work flow not opening in CRM webclient ui

Hi,
I have designed a workflow in SAP Ecc 6.0 CRM.
There are some work items and a single custom popup screen in this workflow.
This popup screen is used to get data and pass to the subsequent workitem.
This screen opens in SAP CRM in the workflow inbox (SBWP) , and works as expected.
Also, mails are sent to the SAP user IDs of the concerned people through the workflow (as per process).
At this stage, we have done all settings reqd in SWU3.
However, when this entire workflow process is trigerred using the CRM WEBCLIENT UI, the following problems occur:
1) There are no mails received at any stage in the workflow inbox.
2) When the work item for the popup screen appears in the WebUI workflow inbox, and it is clicked, there is an error.
"Associated object cannot be opened. Contact your system administrator"
So, the customised pop-up does not open in this CRM WEBUI workflow inbox at all.
Question:
1) How do we ensure that the mails are received in the CRM WEBUI workflow inbox? Are there any settings to be done for that?
2) How can we make the custom popup open in the CRM WEBUI workflow inbox?
