Object Type Handler (oth) issues in EP6 Stack 9. Anyone else have this?
We had some custom oth files in our EP5 SP6 portal that worked great for rendering files in a specific folder with our xsl stylehsheets. Now that we're moving to EP6 Stack 9, they don't work: They return a blank document of 0 content-size. I'm wondering if anyone else has seen this issue and how they resolved it. Thanks.
So here is an update. after trying a time machine restore of the app and the OS, to no avail, I rebooted in safe mode and logged in as user. I launched Pages and it still crashed with the same error log message. Then I opened Font Book and validated all the fonts. Relaunched Pages, got a different error message but Pages didn't crash. the error message this time was ' "u-0093-01_p" cannot be opened'. I recognized that as an Avery label template I had used a few weeks ago to create mailing labels for my company. Closed pages, deleted the template, and restarted in normal boot mode; so far, Pages is back to normal. Wish the error logs were a little easier to navigate. This project has been very frustrating and time consuming, but all is ok now.

My daughter bought a 4th generation ipod classic without a charger. The ipod was working just fine, but then we tried to charge it using a brand new charger for an Ipod Touch. It won't charge and someone online someone posted that there ipod touch charger worked on the ipad, phone and whatever else he had but it wouldn't work on the classic. Anyone else have this same issue? Any solutions?
The ipod did not come with a power cord as we purchased it used from ebay. The ipod was half charged when we received it and it worked well enough to transfer songs to my computer (the previous seller didn't delete their 2000 plus songs). My son then used the same cord on his computer to transfer the songs, but processed an update to the ipod and after that,it wouldn't work. So, I'm not sure if we received a bum ipod, an update issue or we have a charger issue, but the cord we used to transfer the songs came from my son's brand new ipod touch. We've also tried 2 other chargers from ipods we have in the house, 1 being a wall charger.
One individual posted online that he took his ipod classic, mac and phone overseas with one charger and it worked fine on all but the classic. So, I'm thinking that they cords may not be universal. Online I've read that it must be a 6 pin firewire, high power 2.0 usb cord. Or that I need to purchase an applie charger. We don't live close to an apple store and I'm reluctant to order one just to have it NOT work.
My daughter is learning the hard way that buying off of ebay is not always the best solution to a cash strapped 12 year old.
Any other advice is greatly appreciated. -
After updating to IOS8, my iPad 2, which has both AT&T cellular and wifi, needs to be completely turned off and rebooted to get cellular service. Does anyone else have this issue ?

If you are having issues with Xxx_state issue here_xxX, you may want to try some things to troubleshoot.
First, quit all running applications and test again -
iOS: Force an app to close

Next, I would try restarting the iPhone -

If the issue is still present, you may want to restore the iPhone as a new device -

If you are having issues with your iPad not staying connected to cellular service, you may want to try some things to troubleshoot.
First, quit all running applications and test again -
iOS: Force an app to close
Next, I would try restarting the iPad -
Turn your iOS device off and on (restart) and reset
If the issue is still present, you may want to restore the iPad as a new device -

Make sure you have checked off iCloud contacts in your Contacts app under Groups in upper left corner.

On my machine it seems that the fi ligature doesn't exist with Times New Roman (installed version is 5.01.3x)
It's available in Warnock Pro but the st one which is designed in Warnock doesn't apply.

I did the recent update on my ipad 7.0.4 and now it keeps freezing up and can not use it. Tried reboot and works for a second then freezes right up again. Anyone else have this issue or know a fix?

First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

Seems like you tried this all ready and it didn't help.
Next might be to reset all settings.
Settings > General > Reset > Reset all Settings
Note that when you do this you will not lose data but you will have to enter all passwords again.
If that doesn't help you might tries a restore of your iPad using iTunes on the computer you normall sync with. Do a backup and save all data first. Or
Make an appointment at an Apple Store to have your device examined by a technician. Or contact Apple Support. -

i have friends who have iphone 4 with the ios5 and their additional google calendars are appearing.

Countdown timer apps won't make sounds. I have installed 3 different ones and none of them alarm audibly...just a pop-up on the screen...anyone else have this issue? Any suggestions?

If this does not help, please post the make and model of your Wi-Fi router. Maybe there is a way to monitor the connections from the router side.
Even if the iPad2 has a bad Wi-Fi radio or antenna , the chance of you getting another one should be small. Also if you go to an Apple Store, I am sure you will be able to test it before you leave the store.

My Game Center is not letting me log in on my ipad but I have no issues with my iPhone. Does anyone else have this issue lately. This has just stared recently. When I go to Game Center is just trying to load continuously.
I have the same exact problem. I have literally done everything that everyone says works but it hasn't solved mine. I went to the Recieved at and It has my number and my email right under neath it but I can not select my Number. My Email is clickable but my number is like a super faded grey not like you can't see it but it is not close to black.

First, make sure they are all still enabled in the respective System Preferences.
If the are, then do you have any third-party menu extras? They will often interfere with the others if they are not compatible. -

The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W).
