Object type in Appraisal Template

Hi
In appraisal template we have different object types on selecting the participants
in general we select For one Participant ex: Manger under object type P PERSON for the same Participant i want to select
object type S POSITION and P PERSON.
Is there any option for the same participant we want to select both object ID's on using the T Code APPCREATE.

Objective Settings and Appraisal Template

I just completed most of the configurations and testing in sandbox (we have real data there) for this project.
Now I need to replicate the same in DEV and move to Quality( Client specific) for testing and then prod.
Since there is structure of template, statuses, substatuses ............. each time I will be prompted for a transport request. Should I use one transport to include all changes or I understand that you can right click on the template structure and move to different landscapes?
Please help on this and anyhting per your experience, I should know before starting in DEV.

Hi,
Normally you just maintain everything in your development system and in the end you put it on a transport. For that just go to the template and right-mouse it. There is a write to transport entry there.
Do not forget to transport the category as well! and if you made changes to the category group those need to go as well. They can be put on a transport via context menu as well.

Transporting Appraisal Template

I have created the New Appraisal Template for 2015 review in Dev. Now i need to transport the Apparisal template into QA system. Do i need to create the transport for Category as well or directly i can create the transport for Apparisal template?

The below should work.
IMG>>Personnel Management>>Personnel Development>>Objective Setting and Appraisals>>Transport Template and Dependent Configuration Data
Tcode: PHAP_TRANSPORT.
Enter the Appraisal Template ... include the Category, if required and provide the TR.
Once you execute, you will get list of all Appraisal elements (VA, VB, VC), choose required ones, and include them in the TR.
Please click on the 'i' button to read more about this report (Courtesy: SAP documentation).
With this program, you can transport all of the related objects and their related data to another system (such as a live system or client) for an appraisal template (object type VA) or appraisal process ((flexible appraisal process or predefined Performance Management process); (process element object type VH)).

Appraisals object type VA and auth object P_HAP_DOC

The system is running 2005 version. While running
APPCHANGE tcode the program ignores values in PD Profile
for object type VA. Furthermore the program bypasses
the check against P_HAP_DOC object. Any hints why this happens? F.ex 2005 IDES system we have performs these checks ok.

The hierarchy is as follows
VC is blow VB is below VA.
The objects as such wil be created in the HRP1000 as usual.
In addition, there are tables which starts with HRHAP* which holds the appraisal document related data.
But the table contents cannot be seen from SE11 or SE16. Create a SQ01 Quick viewer query for the Database tables.

Object type Appraisals by objetives (PD)

Hi,
I want to know in the new type of objectives settings and appraisal which is the object that are create an evaluation. For example in the old evaluation system the objects type was BS-BG-BK, this make possible to create an evaluation BA.
In the new evaluation system there are objects: VA-VB-VC, but I want to know which one is the equal object of BA.
If this object doesnt exist where is storage the appraisal???

Object type and Transport request for Category group.

Dear All,
I have configured category group for objective setting and appraisal (PD module) in development serverwhich is to be transported to quality. Can any body let me know how to generate the tranport request for that?

In objectice setting the top most hierarchy for appraisal catalog is category group followed by category and then template (VA) .
My query is related to category group. For category and template system has standatd upload/download utility for transport, but for category there is no as such option therfore in such a scenario how to transport category group.
Also I want to know the object type for criteria group and criteria.

OSA - ERROR while downloading \ uploading appraisal template

Hello!
May be some of you came across the same problem: when appraisal template using object Q as reference object for VB or VC is being uploading into the other client it is copied with error. The relationship 607 between objects is not ceated in the other client, so the object is not correct. Is it a standard solution

I am inclined to think that lack of relationship 607 between objects VB and Q while uploading appraisal template into other client is due to a programm error but we failed to find relativa SAP Note, may be someone came across the problem?

Error while releasing Transport which Contain Bussiness object type

I created the method in ZBUS100106 and released it and generate it ,then in the program I wrote some code,functionality works fine ,Now while moving transport to Quality Syestem it shows up with the error
*ZBUS100106 is inactive* , I released it and generate it one more time but did'nt help
My transport has

    Table Contents
        SWOTICE
only problem with the program it shows inactive,I ran Se80 and it shows some Subrutine inactive I activate it by clicking right and select Activate but none of the perform activate .

Partitioned IOT of Object Type - mapping table not allowed for bitmap index

Hi,
looks like a feature available for standard Partitioned IOTs is not supported for object based tables, namely the MAPPING TABLE construct to support secondary local bitmap indexes.
Can you confirm behaviour is as expected/documented?
If so, is a fix/enhancement to support mapping table for object-based Partitioned IOTs in the pipeline?
Results for partition-wise load using pipelined table function are very good, look-ups across tens of millions of rows are excellent.
Environment = Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.1.0 - Production
OS = Oracle Enterprise Linux Server release 5.2 (Carthage) 2.6.18 92.el5 (32-bit)

the intention is to range partition based on the initial character, so A* -> Text_Part_A, B* -> Text_Part_B, and so on.
Here's an example, using an empty IOTObj_Table as created previously.
1) Set up & confirm some test data (two 'D's, one 'N', and two 'Z's)

I have created a transport for Category and Appraisal Template through transcation PHAP_CATALOG by right clicking onto the Object and selecting Transport. After creating the transport I have successfully transported it in the QAS.
Now, in QAS I am not able to view Appraisal Template in the Appraisal Catalog (Transaction: PHAP_CATALOG) while the Category exists in the catalog. I have checked the transported Appraisal template in transaction PP01and have found that the object exists in QAS.
Please advice on, why isnt the appraisal template being displayed and linked to the required category in Appraisal Catalog Transaction: PHAP_CATALOG). And what is the corrective action required.

Please check note 1475428, it may help you find a solution to your issue. (note also that regarding the switch they must be set in both source and target system)

Technical Link b/w Employee and Appraisal Template

Hi,
Can anybody please help me in finding the technical link b/w an Employee and an Appraisal Template? In other words, I need to know the table name(s) in which data is stored while appraisal processed is going on. I can view the appraisal form in IT0024 and IT0025 in PA. I can also see the objects VA, VB & VC in PP01, but where are these entries stored in the table.
We are on SAP R/3 4.7 (Enterprise) and using new Objective Setting and Appraisal Component.

Hi there,
Function module 'HRHAP_DOCUMENT_GET_LIST' can be used for this purpose.
In order to find the objects you want, make sure you set the appraisal templates for calling this function as well as all of the other required parameters. If you need help for the other parameters then let me know.
The fields for the template table import parameter need to be set as follows:
plvar = Active plan version
otype = VA or VB or VC
objid = appraisal template id
This returns two tables - the appraisals and the associated documents.
Other tables you may be interested in are :
HRHAP_T
HRHAP
HRHAP_APPER
HRHAP_APPEE

Transport Category and Appraisal Template

I am trying to transport category and Appraisal Template Transport:
1) Right clicked on Category, select transport and clicked enter, it gave me the following error:
Object "R3TR" "TABL" "T77HAP_C_OTHER" is an automatically generated object and cannot be transported. All tables beginning with "M_" belong to matchcodes and can only be accessed with these
After this I need to transport Appraisal Template, Please Help

Hi,
I cannot place the error message, but...
go to transaction "oohap_category" and select the category you want to transport, then go in the menu and select transport. That should work.
