Dear All,
I am using an one ZBUS2089 instance of Business object.
In Objects and attachments i have only one short cut available.
It is applicable for 2 workflow (Travel/TripExpense)
also. Both call the Same method (DISPLAY). I need
to have different method to be called for TripExpense.
How can i do this.

This is Travel Workflow : BUS2089-->custom object ZBUS2089.
The situation is in TRIP Transaction, we have built an Userexit which shows message only while Saving or Approving. Workflow doesnot have any knowledge about it, as it is sepearte in Transaction. I have to call the Transaction itself for this. (only in CHANGE Mode)
In objects and attachments link i could be able to call the transaction (method of BOR). But this apply to
both Travel and Trip workflow. The customer wants it
in edit more only for Trip workflow and not for travel worfklow.
Both Travel Request & Trip Expense use the same BOR.
Use objects & links but the problem I face is. For both workflow WS92000004 & WS92000006 I have the same transaction called.
In the I 1st workflow one trasaction is called and in 2nd workflow another transaction is called in the Objects and attachments link.

Objects & attachments not visible for supervisor ESS NWBC.

Hi all gurus,
We have done Travel Request in ESS NWBC. Now when the supervisor try to approve, he can see only limited details. He couldn't see travel service he booked(Flight,Taxi or Hotel booked). I mean in SBWP of Supervisor, he can see the everything in Objects & Attachments. Is there anyway to appear this objects & attachments for supervisor in NWBC when he click on the travel request.??

I think this is normal because the travel request does not include any booking details.
The travel request is before any online bookings.
So might be it would help to explain in detail your process and used components.

Workflows : Objects & Attachments @ User Decision Step ?

As Ramki said,I was able to create a link in the OBJECTS and ATTACHMENTS part for a normal Activity step.
But now my requirement is to create a Link at Objects and Attachments part in USER DECISION Step. Can I do so?
I tried copying the DECISION BO to ZDECISION and copied the the standard Decision task TS00008267 to my task say..TS97900168 with my BO ZDECISION, Now when I tried to include this task in the WF User Decision step, I am getting an error that I cannot include any other object other than DECISION BO.
I thought of creating a ZDECISION Business Object and change the Default method of this BO. But I am not able to include a Z Business Object in the USER DECISION Step itself.
Is there any way of instantiating the Objects and Attachments part with our own Attachment of the USER DECISION Step.

I am not sure I understand your requirement correctly. But an agent can attach objects or documents at a decision step by clicking on the Create button in the Decision step display.
Is there any way of instantiating the Objects and Attachments part with our own Attachment of the USER DECISION Step.
You can copy the standard decision task and define container elements for the BO references already available in the WF container. Bind them from WF to the step. These objects will then show up under Objects and attachments in the decision step.
You can use the 'Create object reference' wizard to create an object reference if it is not already available.

Link CRM objects attachments to TREX

Hello Experts,
I want to transfer the attachments from business partner to TREX index for content search? So for this iam using the Software agent framework(SAF), iam using the knowledge base for this(CRMC_SAF_TOOL), indexs are getting created but the attachemtns(.doc,.pdf,.txt files) URL are not getting link to the index??
Can anyone provide me the how to link the CRM objects attachmetns to content server and then configure it to TREX??
Or is there any other way to do this..
Any help/suggestion will be appreciated.

How to delete Services For Objects Attachments?

How can I delete records from SOFFCONT1 selectively, to recover Database space, without corruption of Database integrity in other tables?
Thousands of scanned images have been uploaded to SAP R3 as 'Attachments' to Financial documents, and produced massive amounts of binary data in table SOFFCONT1. It was thought that 'Links' were being created until Basis saw the size of table SOFFCONT1.
A new methodolgy creates 'Links' to files on a network filer instead.
The bleeding has stopped!
The original methodology for creating the relationship included the following:
SO_FOLDER_ROOT_ID_GET
SO_OBJECT_UPLOAD
SO_SPLIT_FILE_AND_PATH
SO_LOIO_PHIO_CREATE
SO_OBJECT_INSERT
BINARY_RELATION_CREATE
New records are thereby added to the following tables:
SOFFLOIO
SOFFPHIO
SOFFCONT1
SOFFPHF
SOOD
SOC3
SOFM
SRGBTBREL
A debug session of the transaction FB03, display attachments, and delete revealed the following function modules:
BINARY_RELATION_DELETE
SO_OBJECT_DELETE_IN_VB
This only deletes the relationship records in tables:
SOFM
SRGBTBREL
What I really want to do is delete all traces (records in tables) of these image/document relationships in R3 and recover the Database space.
Is anyone experienced with this recovery process, and has a solution to this requirement?
Any suggestions welcome.

Objects & Attachments link in the workitem

I have a user decision workitem has an attachment of bus2013.
'Decision' BO default method is 'Process' not 'Display'.
I am testing with two user id's, both having authorizations for swo_async.
I have read in this forum that we should have a default method as 'Display; to display the attachment.
Using one id i am able to see the attachment & for second id link didn't work.
Any inputs appreciated.

Hi Indira,
First try transaction ME84A with both users to see if you can access the object outside of the workflow scenario. If not then this should give direction as to what objects are missing from no 2s authorisations.

This parameter should be the Key Master table of the object.

Global Object Services (GOS) Attachments Deleted from Maintenance Task List

We use the Global Object Services (GOS) Attachments function to attach Word and Excel Documents to Maintenance Task Lists (transactions IA02, IA09). Recently we noted that more than 300+ Attachments had been deleted/removed from the GOS list visible via IA03/IA09. We are at a loss for explaining how this occurred- all Attachments appear to have been deleted at once/instantaneously. We can see the underlying tables (SGOSHIST and others) still contain entries, but we do not understand why the Attachments are no longer visible in the GOS list via Maintenance Task Lists, or how the ability to access these via GOS can be restored. This is not occurring with other PM Object Attachments - only Task Lists. Any help or suggestions appreciated.

Is it possible that there was some authorisation change in a role associated with task lists? That would be consistent with the immediate loss - but only in the task list area. Another thought - has anyone been doing any programming in the Generic Object Services Business Add-Ins (perhaps for another module?) - They might have inadvertently clobbered your use?
Do you use the GOS notes functionality? Does that still work?

Adding Process Objects in Objects and Attachments

For the PO Release workflows, the agent getting the workitem in his SAP inbox and Can display the PO by clicking on the Objects and attachments. I want to add some more Objects in that. Is it possible and if yes please tell me how?

Yes you can add more than one attachments to the Objects & Attachments sections.
all you have to do is you have to pass to entries to the &_ATTACH_OBJECTS& I think already you are making one entry into this element , try to enter one more entry into this element by default it will show you the two attachments.

How to download a service object attachment to app server?

I found some postings / blogs to download an attachment (service objects).
This tells to download to local drive or to a mapped network drive .

I am able to download to presentations erver by using the code:

Where does the Services for Object (GOS) store data?

I have a requirement that I need to upload a Blocking Reason document for any blocked vendor.
The normal process we follow for blocking is XK02->Extras-> Blocked Data or XK05.
We want to check before the Vendor is saved with blocked data whether he/she (who is blocking the vendor) has uploaded the Blocking Reason Document .
I found out that we have an option in Vendor screen for uploading a document under 'Services for Object' in XK02 as shown in the below (in the red box).
After uploading the attachment it will show the uploaded document in the Attachment List as shown below.
I don't know where this entry is stored. I checked in the table SOOD (SAPoffice: Object definition), but there is no entry in there.
I would like to know on how to check whether the file has been uploaded at the time of saving the vendor.
If anyone knows the table in which this data is stored, kindly point it out.

Restrict GOS attachments in IW32 for specific doc type

My requirement is we would like to restrict the Services for object
attachments for specific doc type in IW32 transaction.
Can blocking be made on doc type level?
In this case jpg, bmp, and gif should be allowed, but blocking dwg, doc, xls, pdf etc.
Didn't find any option in SGOS transaction or SGOSATTR table.

Axis 1.2 dime and mime attachments.

Hello !
i got web service which receives an attachment from .NET service as DIME , adds this attachment to it's own response and sends back to client which accepts only MIME attachments.
When client receives attachment some data seems to be lost, if original file size were 356 000 bytes , client receives only 208 000 bytes.
would be glad to hear any solutions how to solve this! ^^,
