Objects do not maintain placement once site is published

I am having a HUGE issue with differet objects moving around. What the site looks like in Muse and when previewed in browser is NOTHING like what it looks like after it's uploaded to the server and live on the Web. It's ridiculous and making me HATE Muse!!! BUGGY!!!!! Text shifts. Images shift. The ONLY objects that are exactly where they should be are the objects in the master page. My header and footer. My navigation. Anything I place on another page is completely random. I am working on a very large and expensive site and I am spending 10 times longer trying to fix the bugs than I am spending building it and making progress. I should have stuck with dreamweaver but it's too late now. PLEASE FIX THIS ADOBE!

I was having a similar issue with my images and widgets not aligning properly when previewing and viewing in browser. I fixed my issue by selecting my objects and unticking the 'Footer' checkbox (next to the anchor button). This stopped my images from being affected depending on where the footer was.

Hyperlinks don't work once site is published

I have set up some text hyperlinks in my site - www.fullabullies.com. If you go to the site, you'll see on the home page the purple star that says "puppies". this should bring you to the "litters" page. I also have the red star that says "akc bulldog standard" that should bring you to the american kennel club definition of a bulldog (an external page). Also, if you look on the "ladies & gents" page & go to Otis's bio - his red "pedigree" star should open up a .pdf file that has his pedigree. None of these links work. They work just fine in iweb, but not once teh site is published. I don't know what I"m doing wrong. I've even made it to where the entire graphic is a hyperlink, not just the text in the graphic. All teh other links seem to be working just fine. Help!

Both of those links work for me in Firefox 3 on a Mac, but the Bulldog club of Louisiana does not work.
In Safari, the links you mention work, as does the Bulldog Club of Loisiana

MP3 will not play once site is published

HELP!
Here's the issue:
Once I publish my site (to folder or .mac) the audio file I put on my site will not play when double clicked.
Here's how I created it:
From Finder I drag the MP3 onto my web site (in iWeb 08) where it gives me a Quicktime box that says "Drag Image Here". I drag an image (tried jpg and gif) to it and it embeds fine. I use the Quicktime inspector to de-select "Show media controller".
In iWeb, when I double click on the image it plays the MP3. When I publish it (to a folder or .mac) it won't play the MP3 when double clicked. I've emptied Safari's cache and tried it on FireFox with the same result. Per the help file, I'm doing everything right and it says:
Quote "Show movie controller: Select to provide visitors with playback controls (pause, fast forward, and so on). If you deselect this checkbox and deselect Autoplay, your visitors can play the movie or audio by double-clicking it."
If I set it to autoplay it does work.
So what the heck is wrong!!!!????

You need click the "Provide iWeb Feedback" in the iWeb drop down menu and let them know about this one.
I would never have thought of setting up an audio file like this anyway. Some people seem to have difficulty finding the "play" button - how are they going to think of double clicking?

Number Range Object For following object is not maintained for year 2008,

Hello Together,
Now the 2008 year has begun.....All the number range object in Excise related process ( CIN ) has to be changed.
I would like to know whether i need to change the only Year in SNRO or i have add new year in that setting.
Below is the example :-

If i change only year i,e. insted of 2007 i will change 2008....what will be impact?

Can't view slideshow once site is published

Hello-does anyone have any advice on this.
I published my website and then went to view it to find that it would not let me view the slideshow or click on a photo to enlarge. A box came up saying this...Firefox can't open because it cannot read the protocol.

Some problems with Firefox 3 and iWeb were fixed in the latest version 2.0.4 of iWeb. If you're not already on iWeb 2.0.4, then upgrade to it via  menu > Software Update...
Then in iWeb do +Publish All+ and clear your browser's cache before viewing your slideshow.

I am trying to Install Exchange on my Lab, getting below error
message.
The Schema Role is installed on Root Domain and trying to install
exchange on Child domain.
1 Root Domain - 1 Child domain. both are located on single site.

Hi Srinivasa,
I guess, you didn't completed the initial setup schemaprep and adprep before starting the installation. You can do it as follows:
1. Open command Prompt as administrator and browse to the root of installation cd and run Setup.exe /PrepareSchema /IAcceptExchangeServerLicenseTerms
After finishing this,
2. Setup.exe /PrepareAD /OrganizationName:"<organization name>" /IAcceptExchangeServerLicenseTerms
3. To prepare all domains within the forest run Setup.exe /PrepareAllDomains /IAcceptExchangeServerLicenseTerms. If you want to prepare a specific domain run Setup.exe /PrepareDomain:<FQDN of the domain you want to prepare> /IAcceptExchangeServerLicenseTerms
4. Once you complete all of the 3 steps, install the pre-requisities for Exchange 2013
5. Finally, run the setup program

Front Panel objects do not stay in place after saving, closing, and reopening the VI.

I have been working with a couple of versions of a main VI. The original VI was given to me so that I could add additional functionalities to it. I had been designing the front panel of the latest version of the VI on a Dell laptop running Windows 7 and LabView 2011 SP1 using a monitor with a resolution of 1920x1080. My booleans, numerics, and plots on the front panel had always stayed in place after saving, closing, and reopening the VI. Once in the field, I connected my laptop to a cRIO9073 and used my laptop screen with a resolution of 1366x768 to operate the VI. I made some changes to the VI, saved it, and reopened it. This time I noticed that the front panel objects had become overlapped, resized, and generally rearranged. I tried fixing the objects but I noticed that they reverted back to the incorrect positions after saving and reopening the VI. I was successful in keeping the objects in position a couple of times, but when I would open the VI at a later time, the objects were again rearranged. This is happening on both my monitor and laptop screen. The original version of the VI, however, does not behave this way and I have opened it on both my monitor and laptop screen. In this version, the front panel objects always stay in place. Both VI's have the same window size properties. Could I have corrupted the latest version of my VI somehow? Below are screenshots of the front panels of both VI's.

It is possible to programmatically set or change the position of front panel objects. (for example: http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/4D0DA06B43195B3F862572F3000AF2D3?OpenDocument) However, if you haven’t intentionally done that, it seems unlikely that it is the problem.
Have you tried copying the entire block diagram in to a new VI to see if the problem persists? While it is unlikely, you are right that it is possible for VIs to become corrupted. I’ve never heard of a situation like this except in the situation where the settings Tom had you check have been changed. Here is some information about those settings:

Since there was no rearrangement when you copied the front panel to a new VI, you might try copying the block diagram a little bit at a time to see if there is some particular part of it that creates the problem somehow.

I am creating a page in adobe muse I'll use it as a template to subirlar free support forum and the adobe muse can download and use, but I have a little problem I'm trying to make an object stays in the upper left corner is where colocaque the logo, I do all the design in the master page and when I go to see as shown in the object browser I have set not as I colocoque muestracorrectamente in designing my site, inteto use the option to use "PIN "but when you slide the page the object moves with it and that's not what I want, I want the object to stay in place that is the sin in top left corner of the page, leave a video to show the problem, I hope to get a quick solution to upload the file as soon as possible because I wanted to give as a gift for Three Kings Day.

Here are several ideas to consider; because I don't know how your file was built, not all may apply:
-- I assume that your image is on the Browser Fill of the Master Page, pinned to the top, with scrolling NOT checked. I assume that the image is set for Scale to Fill.
-- I assume that your logo (red box) is on the Home page, pinned to the top left.
-- The issue is that the text frame is scrolling behind the logo box, which it sounds like you do not want to happen.
This might be a workaround to get what you want:
-- Change the Browser fill to Original Size so that is does not scale with the window. Pin to top. Hopefully your image is large enough to fill a large frame. Use the eyedropper tool in the Browser Fill color chart to choose a background that will please youi to fill in the remainder of the browser.
-- use Photoshop to create a slice from the top of the same browser image and place it into a frame on the Home Page, also pinned to the top.
-- Add your logo to the header slice and group together. Check Arrange and be sure they are in Front.
-- Now when you add your text box it will scroll up in between the two identical images, like a sandwich.
I don't expect this to work perfectly! You may see some movement and mis-alignment of the double layer of images. But you could get creative and work this to your advantage. For instance, if you add a drop shadow on the header it will emphasize a "space" that the text is scrolling into. If you add a pinned footer at the bottom using the same slice & layer technique, and again a shadow, you will now have the effect of the text box scrolling in the background. In fact, your background image is interesting enough to consider adding a pinned to the side, with a shadow, just for fun. This may not be the direction you were planning but that's why we are in the creative business.
And maybe this direction will spark a suggestion from someone else of a completely differnt way to help you out!

Sorry but you are spreading FALSE information. Also, that first article is WRONG - just as OP was wrong.
This is NO SUCH THING as a 'string pool' in Java. There is a CONSTANT pool and that pool can include STRING CONSTANTS.
It has NOTHING to do with immutability - it has to do with CONSTANTS.
Just because a string is immutable does NOT mean it is a CONSTANT. And just because two strings have the exact same sequence of characters does NOT mean they use values from the constant pool.
On the other hand class String offers the .intern() method to ensure that there is only one instance of class String for a certain sequence of characters, and the JVM calls it implicitly for literal strings and compile time string concatination results.
Chapter 3. Lexical Structure
In that sense the OPs question is valid, although the OP uses wrong wording.
And the question is: what makes class Strings special so that it offers interning while other basic types don't.
I don't know the answer.
But in my opinion this is because of the hybrid nature of strings.
In Java we have primitive types (int, float, double...) and Object types (Integer, Float, Double).
The primitive types are consessons to C developers. Without primitive types you could not write simple equiations or comparisons (a = 2+3; if (a==5) ...). [autoboxing has not been there from the beginning...]
The String class is different, almost something of both. You create String literals as you do with primitives (String a = "aString") and you can concatinate strings with the '+' operator. Nevertheless each string is an object.
It should be common knowledge that strings should not be compared with '==' but because of the interning functionality this works surprisingly often.
Since strings are so easy to create and each string is an object the lack ot the interning functionality would cause heavy memory consumption. Just look at your code how often you use the same string literal within your program.
The memory problem is less important for other object types. Either because you create less equal objects of them or the benefit of pointing to the same object is less (eg. because the memory foot print of the individual objects is almost the same as the memory footpint of the references to it needed anyway).
These are my personal thoughts.

I performed an inplace upgrade on my sharepoint 2007 installation and post the upgrade while trying to browse the document libraries on the site i get the following Error. HAs anyone encountered a similair error?? What could be the cause and resolution

I saw your website the page is named just welcome and it appears as welcome on google search.
The title of your webpage just needs to be changed and nothing else.A Title of your web page is what appears on google findings and it is the title that appears on the top most bar of browser window. On the top most bar of browser is written apple - support. and this is what will appear on google findings. 'Apple - support'
If you know HTML, just change the title.
I dont know but I think Google takes about less than 2 days to find your site thruugh its robots maybe even faster. My site appeared as i checked it - after two days and i didnt go and list it in addyoururl.

When I try to capture deemed export license from J1ILIC01 I get this error

I tried to maintain number ranges in SNRO & SNUM there the changes are saved but I am not able to capture the license and receive the same error again. Please help.

Just check if you have maintained number range for the correct year as shown in error.
Goto SNRO/SNUM enter the object ID and click on number range .Maintain there for that particular year.
