Objects on home page are "locked" together

I hope this is an easy fix but I can't find it....
I have 5 pages to my little website. On all of them except the home page I can grab a text box or a pix and reposition it.
On my Home page I have a picture, a tiny text box. I'm trying to add a text box in between the pix and the tiny text box and the pix and the tiny text box are now linked together.... when i move one the other moves. But they are clearly separate elements, they have their own boxes and such.
How do i unlink them?

Hi Susan,
This can happen if all the objects are inside a text box.
Inside a text box objects are relative to each other.
If this is your case, use the Inspector / Text / Wrap to order them.
Or select the pict, copy it, delete it.
Click outside the text box to dé-select it.
Then paste the pict over (not inside) the text box.

Whenever I open the Navigator and Layers windows in PS6, they are locked together side by side.
Does anyone know how to unlock them. This doesn't happen when I open any other windows.
I'm using a PC.

Is that photoshop 6 or photoshop cs6?
Generally one can just separate them by dragging the name of the panel.
(i.e. drag on the Navigator name)
In photoshop cs6 you can reset the workspace by going to Window>Workspace or if you have a custom arrangement of your panels, you
should get everything as you want it and then save your own named workspace, so you can reset it whenever things going awry.

When downloading video into FCP my two audio tracks are locked together.

When downloading HD video into FCP my two audio tracks are locked together. Channel one will not separate from channel two. Not good. One channel is my miked talent, the other abient. Any suggestions? I cannot find the problem. Sequence settings? Preference settings?

Downloading is when you copy a file from an Internet server to your computer.
Channel one will not separate from channel two.

Select the two tracks and choose Modify > Stereo Pair
Or you can just use the keyboard shortcut option-L

Users with a https home page are not redirected when using web-passthrough on WLC 5508

I have a Cisco 5508 running version 7.0.116.0. This controller hosts an open public wifi that requires users to accept a terms agreement via a Web-Passthrough setup that redirects them to the terms splash page. For most people this works without any issue. However, if a user has their homepage for their default browser set to a https site, such as https://www.google.com, then they are never redirected to the terms splash page. The page will just spin and spin until finally they get a timeout error.
Has anyone else had this experience? If so did you find a solution or is this some sort of short coming of the controller?

Sundar, custom object Homepage Layout is not supported in R15. However, it is supported in R16.

I have installed Version 7.0.1. on my Laptop and Desktop, but the home pages are different

I was invited to update my laptop version of Firefox to version 7.0.1. I did this and was quite impressed by the new home page format with a single button to address the Menu Bar, Bookmark etc. I decided to update my Desktop Computer to the same version by downloading the latest update, but when it was installed, the Home page format was not change to the new format. I decided to use the same installation file I had used on the Laptop, but the format was not changed. So I am puzzled as to why there are two different format results using the same installation file. Does anybody know of a way of ensuring the new format can be invoked on my desktop?

Unfortunately, your reply has not answered my question. On my Laptop, to access the Menu bar, there is a Red button in the top left hand corner of the Home page and clicking this button revels all the Menu Bar functions, On the Desktop machine, installed with the same installation file, the Red button is not available but the old Menu bar is. I would prefer the button and less cluttered home page, which the Laptop What's New page proclaims is the new format. How do I make the new proclaimed Format the default on my desktop and why the difference from the same installation file. I have attempted to use your upload images facility, but I have received an error message each time I try to upload an rtf file which includes an image of each each of the Home pages!

My home pages are not loading - facebook, ebay, BBC

On Firefox and Internet Explorer I cannot load any of my home pages - Ebay, Facebook and BBC news. I just get text only as a list down the left hand side of the screen. Have tried starting a new profile, have run a malware scan, scanned with anti virus, removed the pages as default homepages.

Two tracks solo buttons locked together?

Hello, I am getting used to 9 and some how 2 tracks in the arange page are locked together so if I solo one, the other solos as well? I am sure this is simple but could figure this out?

Does this relate to the use of Multi-Timbral Instrument tracks?
If yes, you have two choices:
1) Go to Preferences:Audio:General and set the Track Mute/Solo preference to "Slow"
2 Do not use MultiTimbral instances

What happened to my mail access on home page, it just vanishes after stat-up and is replaced with ads ? How do I fix it?

It's always worked until this past week, nothing changed by user that I know of. I've checked pop-up blocker to no avail. Using Avira free security, it updated a few days ago, did a restore after it was updated to before the update, didn't help either. Want let me open Hughes net mail in Fire Fox at all. Can access it from Explorer but hat Explorer, it's slower than Fire Fox. Any help is appreciated as I've run out of ideas.

Are you saying that your webmail is set as one of your home pages, but that it is replaced with something else ?
Do other websites and searches work ok in Firefox or are you also having other problems in Firefox use ?

I unknowingly downloaded MyWebSearch and cannot unable it so I no longer have FireFox as my home page. What can I do to restore FireFox, I already redownloaded it with out success.

MyWebSearch has dominated my home page and I can't delete it, I want FireFox back but don't know how to make it my default home page.

This type of pest is usually installed along with software you download from the internet; generally free programs, but not always. Carefully watch for "extra" items that will be installed and un-check or opt-out of them.

Firefox properly goes to my set home pages; how do I get it to use my preferred SEARCH ENGINE (without having to be able to PROGRAM)?

I want to choose the search engine; Firefox goes to Google. My home pages are properly set. The only solution offered to this question earlier would have you go to Web Developer and instantly was WAY over my head. How can an ordinary person change this? Thank you.

In My production Instance , after bounce the services , i found that APPS home page has a different color than usual , its turned to blue color

Has any up-gradation/ new patch been applied your apps instance ( 11i to R12 ) ?? the look and feel of 11i and R12 is different altogether .
The blue theme come up by default with release 12 versions .
where are you getting in blue theme in home page , are accessing via JSP home page or form based screen ?

Home page is set to signed in pages but subsequent firefox sessions don't remember and require signing in again

All of my home pages are set to already signed in pages - gmail, AOL, Facebook, and Linkedin. On subsequent Firefox sessions, I'm required to log in to these pages again - Why?
This does not happen with Google Chrome.

Do you have the FastStart extension?
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

Home page different than start page

I recently switched back from Chrome to Firefox (or I'm trying at least). The biggest thing from Chrome that I can't set up correctly is my start pages. In Chrome I can set my start pages to three separate tabs and my homepage to only one of those tabs. This is great because it'll start with those three tabs open but the home button will only take me to the one I specified as my home page. Trying to replicate hat set up in Firefox I saw using the pipe character "|" to separate the URLs. However, when I hit the home button, it opens whatever tab isn't currently open. For example, if my home pages are Google, Facebook, and Lifehacker, I want those three tabs to open on start but when I hit the home button to only bring me to Google, not open up separate tabs for Facebook and Lifehacker. Is there some kind of bookmarklet or add on home button that can give me this functionality? Thanks
