Can anyone suggest the replacement for the obsolete table MSKU in SAP ECC 5.0 version.

I see active version of table MSKU in ECC 5.0. Are you sure this table is obsolete in ECC5.0?

I checked for the details in table RODIR providing the Object type and Obsolete field to 'X', but RODIR table provides me only Function module (Object type 'FUNC') Information.

Hi,
The obsolete objects(Function Modules & Tables) can be traced by using the table RODIR in which the Object Type should be selected and Obsolete feild as 'X'.

First, tell me how you determine that these entries are 'obsolete'.
Removing master data from SCM can usually be done using transaction WUF; however, you have to ensure that it is not re-sent to the SCM system, or you are just wasting your time.

You don't need to (re)create them, when you Upgrade! All custom objects will be automatically carried over to the new system.

Payment process in R12 - New Tables and Obsolete Tables

I Need to know more about the process of Payment process in R12, that which tables are involved in Payments Process R12. I understand that AP_SELECTED_INVOICE_CHECKS_ALL is obsolete,but, I would like to know the tables populated in each step of the process and which tables are new. I see that my field check_number is null also. Please help me that I am not find information.

I do not think such a document is available for public access (i.e. a document that shows the payment process cycle in details from the backend). However, you may log a SR and see if Oracle support can help.
I believe you have already checked [Oracle Payables - R12|http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B40089_09/current/html/docset.html] documentation.

Regarding Obsolete table

hi guys,
we are going for upgrade from 46C to ECC. we plan to change the SADR table to ADRC inside the addon program.
Customer Created addon program using Standard include where SADR table is used. Now how to modify this program. we cant edit standard include right.
Do we need to find the simmilar standard program in ECC and modify addon or is there any other way to solve this problem.

Report for redundant Tables?

Hello all
Would like to see which tables have not been accessed for a certain period (eg. 6 months)
Does anyone know if there is a report which will be able to list this information?

You can check table RODIR for obsolete tables etc.
In you case there is tool provided by SAP for the same called CDMC .

Field lables on dynpro without using TABLES

Hi there,
I want to put some fields of LFA1 onto a customer dynpro and I want also that the lables of the different fields come from the DDIC. I created a global structre called GS_LFA1. After that I puttet the fields onto the dynpro, but there are no texts available.
When I use the TABLES-statement the texts are available from DDIC. But I don't wanna to use the obsolete TABLES-statement, so what can I do to implement the different texts?

Where would you be inheriting the attributes from? You can't click the 'From dict' checkbox if the name of the field doesn't exist in the DDIC...Well, you can but then you get a big fat warning/error and the box automatically unchecks it...
Ok, sorry you are right. I just remind myself that option not checking it first. Indeed this can't be copied as the reference to DDIC field does not exists at all.

Alternatively to TABLES you can use simple strcuture declaration using data , but it's not effect is the same. As Brad mentioned, this is not an obsolete statement.

Hi Ramesh,
TVARV is the variant table and used to store the variants of a report.You do not need to create a new variant or keep changing an existing variant each time a value changes. Instead, you can change the relevant values in table TVARV.
Its an obsolette table in ECC 5.0 and the correct one will be TVARVC table.
We used to store the fiscal period variants in this table.

CLEAN_REQREQ_UP:
It checks whether the backend documents (namely-PR/PO/RES) have been created in the backend systems. Deletes obsolete table entries in SRM as well as updates document numbers in the Shopping Cart. You can't process the SC in SRM until this update is complete.
BBP_GET_STATUS_2:
It ensures that the information on the back-end documents is up-to-date. Retrieves the updated information from the Back-end systems (for example PO number after it was converted from a PR)
since both the reports checks and picks up data from backend system, we need to specify RFC for backend systems only.
