Obtaining a printed MCP certificate

I was in a friends office the other day and noticed that he had an actual MCP certificate on display. I became an MCP in 2011 but never received a printed MCP certificate. How can I get a printed MCP certificate?
I've tried to visit the MCP site but it only puts me into Microsoft Learning and there are not related options there. I've also visited the Certiport site but that only provides copies of each exam's certifications.

Several years ago, Microsoft mailed to you a printed certificate along with other goodies (such as a wallet card) when you got a new certification. But now they no longer send this welcome package. If you want a printed certificate, you need to either
download the PDF or XPS file and print it yourself, or pay to have it sent to you (If I recall correctly, it costs somewhere around $10). Both options can be accessed from the MCP portal (www.microsoft.com/mcp)
after you login with the liveId that is associated with your MCP.

Printing a certificate in Captivate CS5

Hello,
I am currently using Captivate CS5 and I want to have some sort of button/click box etc or even link which allows the student to print a certificate or have one emailed to them when they reach a certain section in my module. I also want this certificate to ideally have their name and date of completion present on too.
I can create a 'certificate-style' slide already which uses Text Entry boxes and variables but as I'm not brilliant with captivate yet and am still very new to widgets, I wanted to see what is the most basic/straightforward/least complex students could be sent/print out their certificates.
Any help would be very appreciated!

Hopefully Lilybiri won't mind my offering a reply here as I'm guessing she is tucked into bed for the evening. I believe she lives in Belgium and according to my clock it's midnight there.
To insert a widget, click Window > Widget and Captivate should list the widgets for you to choose.
You may find you need to also click the little Folder Icon and browse to the Gallery/Widgets folder in order to see the available widgets.

Print final (Certificate) slide in published .exe

Hi Captivate-Guru's,
I'm looking for a way to provide a print button on my final
slide. This slide contains a certificate (not a widget, just a .jpg
with a variable textfield for the student-name). The button has to
work in a published .exe of this project. I believe java-script
just doesn't cut it.. :(
Please advise how to accomplish this.

Hi, everyone out there. I know that printing a slide seems to be a huge problem for everyone. All I want to do is to allow my end user to print a certificate template that I imported as a powerpoint slide. I've built in the variables and it works fine.
The problem is printing easily without printing the printer icon or playback bar or buttons .... just the certificate landscape on 8 1/2 by 11 paper. I've tried the widgets that are loaded in Adobe Captivate 4. The print.swf file prints the icons. So does the Printslides.swf. I haven't been able to find any that do the trick.
I'm hoping someone reading this has been able to solve this. Anyone know a technique that actually works in Captivate 4?

Problem in printing TDS certificate

Hi SAP Guru's
We are on SAP 4.6 C, By mistake we have entered the wrong challan number in "J1INBANK - Update Bank Challan Number" and to correct this one of user try to reverse the document by using the t-code "J1INREV - Reverse" but the period was closed so he has done the resetting instead of reversing the document number (Posting date was 04.12.2008)
After that we have updated the challan no directly in the table "J1iewtchln" and after that we are taking the print out by using the t-code "J1INCERT - Print" but that particular document was not reflecting in the certificate.
so we thought that this problem is due to resetting of document and found that same was reflecting in open items in FBL3N so we have done manual clearing by using t-code "F-03" but its still not reflecting neither in J1incert nor in J1inmis.
Kindly advise what we need to do the correction as period of 2008 are already closed and we cant open the same.

when you pass the manual entry posting date will be 31.03.2009 and period will be 13 because when we close the year still open 4 special period to post further entries.

Laser printer and certificate paper issues

Ok I've got some certificate paper Textured Conqueror that my printer fades and does not print on all of it? Any help please

Try changing the paper type in the printer menu to whatever is suitable, if you have different paper trays or a drop down feeder then try those aswell.
Dont mean to sound silly, but does your printer have enough toner/ ink?

Obtaining accurate printing results

Hi,
I am using Ps CS5.1, Canon printer Pixma MP988 & a Mac OS X10.9.1.
In the last couple of weeks I no longer am getting correct pri ntouts, I susspect something related to colour profiling has recently changed (I must have done it myself but not aware of what it is that I've done to change it) & now there is a serious shift in colours when I make prints. I have checked the printer it is working fine. my computer sreen is calibrated.
Any suggestions hiw to correct it so I can get accurate colour print outs?

This will be a very good article to read, the main problem I had with my printing was finally resolved this afternoon, after driving myself crazy about colour profiules, printer problems & lots of other assumptions I finally realised the problem was very simple, it's a faulty batch of printing paper. But now I will read the article you sent because after this incident (it went on for weeks!) I'd like to properly educate myself about printing. Thanks again & best regards.

Unable to obtain vivid print quality with HP ColorJet CP1515n after upgrading to Windows 7

Since I upgraded to Windows 7, I no longer get the same sharp and vivid images that I used to get using Windows XP. The colors also differ from the colors on my screen. Apart from upgrading to Windows 7 and installing the HP Universal PCL 6 driver, no changes have been made before the problem started. I still use Corel Draw 10 and print on the same glossy paper used when the print quality was fine.

If we suspect operating system or driver problems since moving to windows 7 we can try downloading and running the print and scan doctor located here:

Certificate not available in "MCP Certificate Manager "

Few weeks ago I passed 2 exams ( Office 365 Deploying and Administering ). It's been more than 7 days since I passed the exams but no certificate is available.
Any idea's what/who i can do/contact ?

it can take some time before you will see your passed exams, f.e. on your transcript. Normally this is done within two weeks after passing the exam. So, sit back and relax. If your passed exams don't appear on your transcript you should get in touch with
your Microsoft Regional Support Center.

In 'J1INCERT' transaction iam getting an error message "Please maintain entries in Layout customizing".
I have maintained entries for 'J_1IEWT_CERT' From. Is there somethig else i need to do?

HT204347 I need to find out what is wrong with my Macbook Pro. I have Adobe Reader installed on it and Adobe Flashplayer installed on it. I am not able to do anything with either of these programs, no videos, printing certificates, etc.

I have adobe reader installed on my Macbook Pro and also Adobe flashplayer installed. I am not anble to see any video from the net, news feeds, or anything like that on my computer. I cannot print off certificates that I need all it does when I attempt to print the certificate is that it shows that it is loading and comes back and tells me there was an error in loading the information. Extended Withholding Tax Certificate Printing-Missing data elements

I am working in 4.7 version and am faced with some issues in TDS.
(1) In the TDS certificate printing, the certificate number is not appearing even though the number ranges are exactly maintained for the current year. I note that for some Official tax keys, it is printed perfect, but for some others it is not printed.
(2) Another problem is the Cheque number details are not appearing in the certificate.
(3) Eventhough the PAN number is mentioned in the Vendor Master, the same is not picked up rather it is coming from the J1ID data elements.

1.In print preview certificate number will not generated, when ever you have given printing then only number will be generated.please note that
back from preview and give print out, dont give print out from preview.
2.For getting the cheque number,you need to
write your own code inside the Function Module
J_1I7_USEREXIT_CHEQUENO_CERT.This FM is present in the
note 912767.
The code needs to be written at the customer end.It was not there in note no.912767
