Obvious power issue effecting all back plane jks. Popping HOURLY (clocked) thru speakers, lites up lamp on doc scanner. Has blown power supply once. "Genius" diag NTF twice B4 power supply blew. Still have same trouble. I made very CLEAR to Genius Bar that it was a hardware issue after they continued to trouble shoot software. I was referred to tier 2 who told me they only worked on SOFTWARE. Does anyone know a more qualified shop who can fix an OBVIOUS mother board issue tracing back to the power supply? I had the same issue with a 20" with 7 visits & had to literally take a video of the trouble before they could figure out the trouble was the video card. From reading the sheer number of posts of the same trouble descriptions going back to 2007, it's all too obvious the path to MSFT is being taken.

You need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components; this won't affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

Have you tried a reset? Hold down Home and On/Off buttons, ignoring slider until you see the Apple logo. Then release the buttons. The device will reset--you will lose no data. Please don't shout--using all caps is not only rude but it is hard to read.

I constantly have to restart my computer to get my iTunes to open. Does anyone know of a solution?
Here are the two ways that I run apps as admin in Win 7. Would recommend trying the first method to see if it works before you use the second method.
First: I use this one if I only need to do it occasionally (you may find this way tedious after a few days). Right click on iTunes and the context menu will pop up. Click on "Run as administrator" then another popup will open asking you to confirm if you want to allow iTunes to have admin privilleges (this happens every time any app requests higher privelliges), choose yes and if our issues are the same iTunes should load.
Second: The semi-permenant method, again I'd say try the other method first to see if this will work for you. Right click on iTunes like before but choose Properites, then go to the Compatibility tab. At the bottom you have the ability to give iTunes admin privilleges every time it loads. Check that box, then click apply then OK. You will still see the box I mentioned earlier (I can't get a screen shot of it) asking if its ok to run with higher rights, but this way is a couple of clicks less.

I have not been able to use itunes in over a month. My son uploaded gift cards and lost the $. WE can no even update our apps. WE have reset password multiple times. But we continue to get the message ID Disabled. I have updated my billing information. WE do not want to use a credit card. WE only want to use ITunes Cards. HELP!!!!!

Select your Yahoo account in the sidebar on the left.
In account information tab you will see : " Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) "
Click on it and choose edit SMTP server list.
Select Yahoo and click on the advanced tab.
Now fill your new Yahoo password.

Two days ago I was able to play Soundcloud audio both on their site and on Facebook. Now it hangs and won't play. It is fine in other browsers. I have the latest version of everything and do not have the Flashblock or Flashblocker extension that seems to have been the culprit for some others with this problem.
I've updated Flash once since getting my MBP Retina two weeks ago, and the audio was still playing from Soundcloud after the update. I have cleared cache, cookies and history to no avail. It is very annoying as I don't want to have to change browsers every time I need to play something from Soundcloud. It has always worked perfectly with Firefox until this happened.If you use extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) that can block content (e.g. Adblock Plus, NoScript, Flash Block, Ghostery) then make sure that such extensions aren't blocking content.

I have lost Lightroom 5 due to a crashed hard drive. I don't have a back up disc, and I dont think I have a key. I have a an adobe key recorded but don't know if it relates to LR5. I have an LR4 disc and key. LR5 is still intact and running on my laptop, but I need to use LR% on my desktop PC. I need an address to try a download so that I can try the key which might fit it. Any ideas how I can transfer the program (with key) from my laptop? Any other ideas?

Hi, and thanks for taking a look at my issue and offering any suggestions. I have an out-of-warranty T60 which will not power on despite all of the usual attempts to revive this laptop. I've unseated the battery, unplugged AC, removed HD and media drive, and emptied residual power, but when I plug AC back in I get no indicators and the laptop will still not power up.
I've already resolved myself to the real possibility that I've lost the mobo or some other component on the machine. Since I'm at a loss anyway and this is OOW I would appreciate any suggestions that will help me troubleshoot which component may be failed. Of course I also certainly welcome any other tips on getting the machine powered up.

Developed popping/cracking on my Asus A7N8X-Deluxe MOBO. Upgraded to Asus A8N-SLI Premium MOBO along with new CPU and Vid card. Still have popping/crackling in speakers. Even have same problem using headphones. Popping/Crackling is gone when using on-board audio with either MOBO. Card is on IRQ 6 and shared with Texas Instruments OHCI compliant IEEE 394 Host Controller. Is the Audigy toast or what?I had the same problem after an upgrade to 3.6.3.
I was using password manager for a number of web sites before. Not using cookies but password manager.
After 3.6.3 auto upgrade it did not work.
I could not enter private browsing mode.
When I looked in tools>options>security at my saved passwords the list was blank. The button in the saved passwords dialog that normally says "Show saved passwords" was actually blank (the button was there but there was no text on it).
I did have my old bookmarks and was able to create new ones but oddly the bookmark all tabs menu function wouldn't work.
I decided to reinstall firefox 3.6.3. There is no way something with that many bugs got out!
I was able to get the full firefox executable from http://mozilla.com
I closed all firefox windows and ran the installation.
After re-running the install and starting firefox everything was fine. It must have been a bad download or the original install got messed up somehow.
