Occasional blank screen shot when unlocking phone

I have an iPhone 4 with IOS 7. After installing IOS 7, the phone occasionally takes a black "screen shot" photo when I swipe to unlock the phone. It is annoying. Is there a known glitch that causes this, or is there some other fix for this issue?

The first thing I recommend is quitting and relaunching all the applications on your iPhone:
Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.

If you are still seeing the same issue after quitting all the apps, I recommend restarting your iPhone and then resetting if it's still not working:
Restarting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Note: Reset your device only if you are unable to restart it.
Resetting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

I am developing and Adobe Air application for iOS. I have the following issue. If I have my app open and lock my iPad and then unlock my device, I see a black blank screen instead of my application contents. In order to make the app work again, I need to press the home button, and press the app icon again. Then the application appears fine from the point I had left it before locking the device.
Any suggestions on how to fix this issue? I use Adobe Air for iOS 3.8

After some testing I noticed, that the mentioned manifest-flag "<containsVideo>true</containsVideo>" does the job for me on his own...

It only takes screen shots if the round home button at the bottom and the power button on top of the phone are pressed together.

Not all apps support screen rotation. The Home screens do not rotate. But also check to make sure you have not locked screen rotation. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to reveal the Control Center and check that rotation lock is not on.

IMessage delay when unlock phone to see message?

Why is there a delay when I receive an iMessage to my phone? I'll get the message on my lock screen but when I unlock and go in the message isn't there. I have to go in and out twice before it shows in iMessage.

Blank screen after pressing the phone icon

Hello everybody
When I press the phone icon in my iphone 5C I get a blank screen for 10 secondes and then the window closed to come back to the home page of the iphone. As a result I did not get access to the phone keyboard neither to the contact list nor the message box. I did a reset of the setting of my iphone but the problem remained. I pressed both the sleep / wake buton together with the home one but it did not work. I switch it off without better result. Anyone get any idea?

Back up your data and restore your software via iTunes or iCloud. If the problem continues, restore as a new device and test. If the problem is solved, there is some kind of corruption in your backup file or maybe it's one of your apps causing problems. If it continues, take it to an Apple Store for evaluation of a possible hardware problem.

Sharing a screen shot taken on phone

my phone did a software update last Friday (14 Feb 2014) and before that, all screen shots I took using the Volume Up & Down buttons on the were saved onto the "Device - Personal" under the camera section. I could then share these via bbm, email etc. Now since the software update, these are saving themselves under the "Device-Work" section under the camera option there and it wont let me share these at all except via Bluetooth or NFC or through "Meeting participants". I want to be able to save these where they use to save themselves so I can still share these the normal way I use to. Suggestions please.....???

Yes, by itself. (thanks for reply) So it is supposed to happen when you push home button and power button simultaneously? Perhaps the case I have it in is putting pressure on power button. Does the power button home screen combo take/save a screen shot from any screen view or just from lock screen?

Occasional Blank Screen on macbookpro

I have a macbookpro that is just over a year old now and occasionally the screen goes blank and the keys stay backlit. There is not activity. I can't do anything short of powering it off and then back on. It doesn't do it too often, but it seems to only happen when I am using firefox.
I have a two years left on my warrenty and I am thinking about having someone take a look at the hardware to make sure there isn't a problem there.
Has anyone had a simular problem with firefox or other software on their mac?

Managing Subscription blank screen. When I click manage against any subscription it takes me to a blank screen

OK Had Dreamweaver and Indesign single programme subscriptions.
These were installed in an OLD pc and old laptop. Both machines developed faults that could not be fixed.
So I bought new PC and I am trying to manage subscriptions in adobe to download the programs and remove the old registrations.
Problem is that when I click manage subscriptions on

Win 7 machine. 16 GB. over 700 GB free on drive.

I had a problem with that page yesterday; it didn't fully load. Today it's fine.
If you still have problem, try using a different browser.

CCS-Blank screen appears when Comm Management Profile is assigned

Hi,
We are trying to configure the contact center simulator on CRM 2007.
but when we assign the comm management profile to the business role- ic_agent a blank screen appears on the UI , if we remove the same , view on UI seems to be fine with all the links.
If any of you have faced a similar issue please let me know how this can be resolved.

Have you done the Communication Management Profile configurations and settings appropriately. To be specific please ensure that you have taken care of the following:
Maintain communication management software profiles in the Customizing activity
1. Define Communication Management Software Profiles.
2. Assign the communication management software profile to a business role in the Customizing activity Define Business Role.
3. Maintain communication management software system settings in the SAP Easy Access Menu by choosing Maintain System Settings.
4. System administrators define the communication management software channels and queues in this activity.
5. The Com Mgmt Software System ID must have the same value as the Com Mgmt Software System ID in Maintain Communication Management Software Connections (Prerequisites).
6. You must maintain this activity in each system instance, for example, development, test, and production.
7. Assign communication management software profiles in the SAP Easy Access Menu by choosing Assign Profiles.
8. System administrators assign communication management software queues and channels to profiles in this activity.
9. You must maintain this activity in each system instance, for example, development, test, and production

While updating Ipod we now have a blank screen and when connecting to itunes the ipod is not showing under devices

While updating ipod touch we now have a blank screen. I have updated itunes but am unable to sync because the ipod does not show under devices. I have tried shuttng down and restarting but only have a blank screen or ap0ple logo. Sometimes the screen shows connect to itunes but that has been it.

I have the same problem, after upgrading my itouch to iOS6, it doesNOT respond to anything, apple logo stays on the screen all the time and does NOTHING! restore does not work either.... i hope we can get an answer from someone soon... apple support did not have an asnwer.

Blank screen, error msg on phones

Phase one of my client website project is done. We reviewed and proofread the production site on my server. I did not design a phone/tablet version yet (that's phase two).
I exported the final files from Muse and uploaded everything to the client's server (Yahoo Hosting). The site looks fine on my computer, but the client says he's not seeing the site on his phone. On my phone, I see an error message and noticed that the URL has changed to dudamobile.clientsite.
However, when I look at the site that's still on my server, I can see the site on my phone just fine.
I skimmed the discussions for problems similar to mine and tried a few things (and re-uploaded all files in the site a few times), but nothing has made a difference.
I am out of ideas beyond having a glass of Merlot and hoping for a solution via this forum!

I just wanted to check and and let you know what the problem was. I did not get a chance to upload the site to BC because I wanted to follow the trail of DudaMobile first. It turns out that Yahoo! had added the DudaMobile service to the client's account (for an extra $9 a month!) and the client had no clue what it was or what it did. When we disabled DudaMobile, the site appeared on smart phones. (Disabliing it requires some digging—you have to go to the "add extras" page and UNcheck the DudaMobile box.)
I still need to create a phone-friendly version of the site, but at least the screen is not blank! Thanks for your help with this.

Nokia 5800 screen problems when unlocking

When I unlock my phone, I get horizontal and/or vertical lines - I can't use the phone during this time, because the display is so badly affected!
After about 5-10 seconds, the home screen will show perfectly normal. When I either lock the phone, or lock it manually, then unlock it a few minutes later the lines come back again!
Is this a hardware or software fault? If it is a software fault, how can I resolve this annoying problem?

I have exactly the same fault on my 5800 to the point where the phone is completely unusable.
Used the "Contact Us" facility 5 days ago - still waiting for a reply/acknowledgment.
I bought the phone in mid February so it was quite an early release model, V11 frimware, but the screen fault was there early on but only very occassionally. Had the phone updated to V20 but the problem was still there. However it got progressively worse until the phone became unusable. The screen can only be restored by powering off and on again but once the screen has gone into saver mode it cannot be restored via the unlock button, or any other means other than a power down.
Sent the phone to the Nokia "Anovo" repair centre only to have it returned 10days later with exactly the same fault as I sent it in with. The return advice note stated that details of the repair would be found on the enclosed letter - there was no enclosed letter. The return form states that all phones sent in would be automatically updated to the latest firmware - mine wasn't, even though Nokia notified me 2 weeks previously to inform me that there was an update for my phone.
Rang Nokia Care last week, (Thursday) to be told that someone would contact me by phone, (borrowed phone obviously, as I had stated my 5800 was unusable). Friday and I had not been contacted. Rang again Friday morning 10.30am only to be told someone would contact me. Left a contact phone number again. Friday afternoon - still no contact so rang again. This time I was informed that someone should have told me that I wouldn't be contacted until Monday as thet were all "Very Busy" - I wonder why. Today, Monday afternoon stil no one has been in contact so I suppose I am going to have to go through the whole routine again.
I am very close to the point where I am going to give up and demand a refund for an item that is clearly "Not of Merchantable Quality" or "Fit for Purpose" which would be a shame as when it worked I was really pleased with it. I bought the phone outright so I have no contract redress so am completely in the hands of Nokia. I know that Nokia is a very large company and I am but a single customer but from all the forums I have lookes at since this saga started I am driven to believe that the 5800 is causing Nokia some serious problems.
If I do finally get some acknowledge from Nokia I will inform this forum.
