Hi, kddi. "KP" stands for "kernel panic," which is what is going on for you. Do you have anything attached via USB when these panics happen? I am not an expert (not really even literate) in kernel panics, but several of your panic logs include USB connections and one includes the graphics chipset so I am wondering if at least one of these happened during a game with a USB peripheral attached. Also, I am wondering if you have an application that makes architecture models (another mention in the logs) because if so, this particular application is not playing nice with your OS & may be causing some of the panics.
You might find some help in Dr. Smoke's FAQ:

  • Photoshop CC crashing while using gradients.

While using PS CC on a Macbook Pro with Mavericks, 16gb of RAM and 80gb of space on an SSD I get crashes while using the gradient tool. I'll make a curve, fill the mask and select the gradient tool to use in the mask. If I switch from black to white in the palette using "x" I almost always get a crash.
I've run all the updates I can, needless to say this is extremely frustrating.

    Hi,
Sorry for the troubles. Have you submitted any crash data to the Adobe Crash Reporter system? I wanted to check there to see if we are already tracking and aware of the issue already.
Also, are you using Ps CC (14.2.1) or Ps CC 2014 (15.0)?
    regards,
    steve

Hold down the Sleep (or lock) button while holding the Home button. Keep holding them down until you see the Apple logo on screen. Do it for however long it takes to see the logo (like up to ten seconds). Let go when you see the logo and it will reboot.
If that doesn't do it then something has gone seriously wrong but I doubt a Safari crash could have been the cause of that kind of problem.

  • Photoshop CS4 crashing while using program on Vista

PS is crashing while using. No clear repeat of when and causes my computer to be unable to "end process". I have to do a hard restart.
Using trial version of photoshop and this is not helping when deciding to purchase.
Using Vista Ultimate. ATI Radion HD 2400 (I've updated the driver)
I've disabled the Open GL checkbox.
I've been using PS CS 1 before this and I may just keep using it since it's stable. Love to upgrade but not with this headache.

Using Vista Ultimate. Not sure about security since this is a work computer and I don't know the PC (I'm a Mac Person using a PC by force).
Where would I find the "event log"?

  • Jvm 1.5.0_06 crashing while used in tomcat as service

    ANyone ever seen this one.
JVM crashes while used by tomcat as service. The crash occurs randomly. In this case while writing an index for lucene. Lucene is used within our jackrabbit application. This crash caused the index en thus the data in jackrabbit to become corrupt. All content of repository was therefor useless.
Tomcat 5.5.17 is installed on a windows 2003 server.
Does anyone know the cause of this crash. See hs_errpidx.og file below

  • How to use Operating System Commands while using define in sqlplus

How to use Operating System Commands while using define in sqlplus . The Host OS is Linux
    define report_name=PROD_${host date "+%b"}.html
    The above is not working.
    The output should be
    define report_name=PROD_JAN.html
    Regards,
    DB

of course I was talking nonsense: the problem here is the mixing of bind variables and DEFINE variables.
With the following changes the script should work (the conditions for begin_interval_time are perhaps not what you want):
    variable snap1 number
    variable snap2 number
    variable rptname varchar2(20)
    begin
    SELECT min(snap_id) into :snap1 FROM dba_hist_snapshot WHERE CAST(begin_interval_time AS DATE) >= SYSDATE-1;
    SELECT max(snap_id) into :snap2 FROM dba_hist_snapshot WHERE CAST(begin_interval_time AS DATE) >= SYSDATE-1;
    end;
    col file_name_value new_value report_name noprint
    select 'PROD_'|| to_char(sysdate,'MON') || '_' ||  to_char(sysdate,'DD') file_name_value  from dual;
    define  report_type  = 'html'
    define num_days=2
    define begin_snap=:snap1
    define end_snap=:snap2

indesign CC crashes while using spellcheck - what to do?

    InDesign 2014.2 Release  |  10.2.0.69 Build
I recently upgraded to the latest version of InDesign via the Cloud app and two chronic issues have reappeared:
Text randomly disappears during editing on the page.
Launching the spellcheck function causes InDesign to crash.
Come on, Adobe — I (and many other users) dealt with these problems for months after we transitioned from CS6 to CC 2014. Eventually, you fixed the problems, but it took forever! Now they’re back with your latest “upgrade.”
    This is ridiculous!

I keep reporting this to Apple...I'm using a Macbook Pro with OS 10.5.8 (I have a DVD here with 10.6, but the mac sees this as a blank DVD, so I can't update the OS, and this DVD came with my purchase; that's one issue). The other big issue are the constant crashes while using Safari. It's happening several times a day, usually when Flash is involved:

  • After effects instantly crashes while using opengl with nvidias new drivers 178.24

Since I installed nvidias new drivers 178.24, after effects instantly crashes while using opengl. Anyone else experienced this?
    I have Geforce 8600 GT.
As a minor note, I had major problems with the new quicktime 7.5.5 update, both After effects and Premiere got problems with interpreting footage and frames here and there got the "missing frame" look. I also got more problems so I uninstalled it instantly. Is there a major problem with the update or a major problem with me?
    Thanks
    / Olle

I use Vista (in retroperspective this was probably a mistake, but the company wanted to test the capabilities with Vista when we bought the computer a year ago). And specs are:

I do remember the frame issue however, it was very clear, i imported an image sequence in premiere and everything worked fine, then i updated and frames were suddenly dropped, then i uninstalled and installed 7.5 again and it worked just fine. I also tried to flush the cache, restart and generally search for the source of the problem for a couple of hours.

  • Logic Pro X Crashing while using Komplete Ultimate 9 Battery 4 Plugin

    Hi Everyone!
I am encountering consistent crashes with Logic Pro X and Native Instruments Komplete Ultimate 9 Battery 4 Plugin. If I create about 4 tracks with a bunch of midi notes I.E. numerous kicks, numerous snares, numerous claps and numerous hi hats Logic Pro X will consistently quit when I go to Save As and then click save. I get the circle and then bam! Logic Pro states that “Logic Pro Quit Unexpectedly while using the Battery 4 Plugin.” I have inserted the crash image too. This only happens with the Battery 4 Plugin and does not occur with any of the other plugins in Komplete 9 Ultimate or any of Logic's Plugins. I have tried to Save As and Save Copy As with the outcome being the same crash. The fact that the crash occurs when I am going to Save As tells me that something is most likely occurring with Logic Pro X and not Battery...right? I really like Battery 4--to the point that I don't want to go back unless I must--and the drum sounds in Battery 4 are perfect for my electronic music that I produce. Any help is appreciated in advance. I have repaired my disk, updated Komplete with the latest updates and contacted Komplete which still has not responded (one week later) Here are my computer specs:
    Imac 27” Mid 2011
1 TB internal HD with 800 GB free space
    16gb ram
    3.4 GHz
    I7 Processor
    Presonus Firestudio Interface
    OS X 10.8.5
    Logic Pro 10.0.6
Lacie 7200 RPM 500GB USB external HD for my Komplete 9 Ultimate Sample Library with 200 GB free space
Minipro SSD 250 GB Hard Drive for session

Thanks for posting DeeJayKeyz, it helps to know you are experiencing the same issue...although I wish none of us were. I have done the following to troubleshoot the Battery 4 crash issue in hopes of finding a solutions yet it still comes up:
    Repaired Disk Permissions
Reinstalled Battery 4 app and library
Initialized Preferences in Logic X except for key commands
    Trashed the com.apple.audiounitlugins
Trashed Logic's preferences via the Library
Set up a new administrator account in preferences>user and tried again…
With all the above troubleshooting, the issue eventually comes back. The most success I had was when creating a new user. BUT, I still experienced crashing on Logic Pro 9 every time and the crash would occur with the first save with Logic Pro X when using the Battery 4 Plugin on the new user account. Again, for the sake of repetition, Logic Pro 9 consistently crashed when "save[ing] As" and Logic Pro X would crash the first time I went to Save As, but would “save as” with no issues after the first crash when creating a new admistrator user. In both cases I had 16 tracks of Battery going, but it doesn't take more than 4 to re-create the crash. On a side note, if I change the tracks to Massive or Absyth I don't get crashes...just battery 4 for me so far. I have not tried it with Kontact as I have been spending too much time figuring out the Battery Logic issue. Bummed to know that I may experience this issue dow the road with Kontact :/ sure with Native Instruments and Logic would get their heads together to figure this out. I contacted Apple and dealt with Garry in support. He was helpful and came up with creating a new user. He did tell me to call back if I had any other crashes and this would be taken to a higher administration lever. But when I called back low and behold, I dealt with someone else who just blamed battery 4. I have to say though…using the "save as" feature and crashing while using a plugin appears to be a Logic problem…although I don't doubt there is a communication issue btw the two programs.

  • System highly unstable and crashes while using Bluetooth (Plantronics)

I got the new Macbook Pro with Leopard 10.5.6 and "some what" happy with the performance. OS looks to be buggy, in particular while using bluetooth devices or with high load and I have uploaded crash dumps couple of times to apple (support listening??) . I observed that when I use the Plantronics Pulsar 590A (http://www.plantronics.com/northamerica/enUS/products/cat1150057/cat5420035/prod29780013) watching video (iTunes, iMovie) the headset behaves strange i.e after all the hassle of going through the frequent connectivity issue (for which there's a question pending with no answer ), the sound drops or there's some crackling noise etc.
More annoying problem is that the system crashes very frequently. i.e. while using the BT headset, watch video or listen to music for couple of minutes, close the app or put the system to sleep, then after some time try watching or listening some thing else, the system becomes unbelievably slow and finally gives up with an error message - Kernel panic, system needs to be restarted. Hold down the power button for several seconds or press the Restart button. If I don't use the bluetooth head set, the crashes are not so frequent but will crash for sure (I extensively use Virtualbox with one or two guest oses and most of the other crashes are from Virtoalbox)
Also I observed that the Microsoft NB 5000 mouse also behaves odd i.e. Connection keeps getting dropped.
Any ideas/suggestions ? I think this is the problem with Mac OS bluetooth driver as both these devices works without any problem on Windows XP/Vista on other hardware (not Mac x86).

    Try reinstalling OS X:
How to Perform an Archive and Install
An Archive and Install will NOT erase your hard drive, but you must have sufficient free space for a second OS X installation which could be from 3-9 GBs depending upon the version of OS X and selected installation options. The free space requirement is over and above normal free space requirements which should be at least 6-10 GBs. Read all the linked references carefully before proceeding.
    1. Be sure to use Disk Utility first to repair the disk before performing the Archive and Install.
Repairing the Hard Drive and Permissions
Boot from your OS X Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Installer menu (Utilities menu for Tiger.) After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported, then quit DU and return to the installer.
    2. Do not proceed with an Archive and Install if DU reports errors it cannot fix. In that case use Disk Warrior and/or TechTool Pro to repair the hard drive. If neither can repair the drive, then you will have to erase the drive and reinstall from scratch.
    3. Boot from your OS X Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When you reach the screen to select a destination drive click once on the destination drive then click on the Option button. Select the Archive and Install option. You have an option to preserve users and network preferences. Only select this option if you are sure you have no corrupted files in your user accounts. Otherwise leave this option unchecked. Click on the OK button and continue with the OS X Installation.
    4. Upon completion of the Archive and Install you will have a Previous System Folder in the root directory. You should retain the PSF until you are sure you do not need to manually transfer any items from the PSF to your newly installed system.
    5. After moving any items you want to keep from the PSF you should delete it. You can back it up if you prefer, but you must delete it from the hard drive.
    6. You can now download a Combo Updater directly from Apple's download site to update your new system to the desired version as well as install any security or other updates. You can also do this using Software Update.
Some third-party peripherals may not be compatible with OS X. This may be especially a problem with peripherals that use proprietary drivers such as mouse software. If you are using Microsoft's driver software with your mouse consider uninstalling the software and driver. If this helps with your mouse, then you might try using SteerMouse - VersionTracker or MacUpdate - instead of the Microsoft software.
