Occasionally get "Security Error: Domain Name Mismatch"

When logging in to these discussions from the PC at work (XP Pro SP2), and using Firefox 1.5, I sometimes get a Security Error notice that reads:
"You have attempted to establish a connection with "metrics.apple.com". However, the security certificate presented belongs to "*.112.2o7.net". It is possible, though unlikely, that someone may be trying to intercept your communication with this website. If you suspect the certificate shown does not belong to "metrics.apple.com", please cancel the connection and notify the site administrator."
On the security certificate, it says *.112.2o7.net is issued to Omniture, Inc.
Is this something I should be concerned about?

Can't seem to get my own domain name to work

First of all I'm sure this has been asked a lot so apologies if it's a repetitive post I'm just at the hair pulling stage!
Well. I've had no issues joining mobile me (joined a week ago) and publishing my site from iWeb.
But then I wanted to get my own domain name.
(i got it from 123-reg.co.uk just in case that is is anyway significant.)
This is where my question becomes a bit "Balloon" shaped.
When setting my CName on 123-reg I was asked to enter info into two boxes. (That seemed to tally with the help files I have read.)
I entered web.me.com into the first box and my domain name into the second. I'll just call it for now www.mywebsite.co.uk
Then it asked me to enter my website IP which I located by using one of those pages you can type a domain into and it searches...
Sorry if this is dumb but does that sound about right?
Some questions-
-Is it correct to put www.mywebsite.co.uk as well as web.me.com or should it be something else?
-Would there be any mobile-me issues while I'm still on the free trial?
-Are some domain name providers incompatible with mobile-me?
-And if I change the CName with the registrar should I delete and reconfigure myown domain in my mobile me-account?
If anyone could enlighten me they would basically be my new hero!

When asked for the IP of your website does that mean the IP of your own website or the host (being Mobileme of course? i.e. the IP of www.web.me.com/mywebsitetemporaryname or me.com?

Problem getting a DDNS Domain name

I can not get the DDNS domain name feature to work. I get a message that says user name already being used. I have tried numerous versions of names and get the same message. I can go to someplace outside my network and connect using the ip address but I would like to set up a DDNS name.

Getting Security Error# 2048 while working in Flash 11.2

Hi all,
Greetings to all. Well So i prepared a widget written in Action Script 3. Here are my system configurations:
OS: Windows 7
Flash: 11.2
Now when i make a SWF file and open it in my local host i can see the widget running with no problems.
But when i wrapp the SWF file/ Flash Widget in HTML and then try to run it in my local host it is giving me security error 2048. Below is the error i am getting:

After some googling and visiting some forums/websites on the internet i also included the following cross domain parameters in the root location of my source code:

While creating Projects Using the API, get two errors: 'Customer name must be passed' and 'class category is invalid'

While trying to Create Projects using the API, I'm getting two types of errors -
The first is : 'API failed in one stage 1 Customer Name is a mandatory Quick Entry field. Value must be passed'
The second is : '
'API failed in one stage 1 Project: '<Project_Number>'
The class category is invalid.'
Both the messages are produced by our custom program. .. however I am not able to understand why the underlying errors occur.
The first error ( Customer Name is a mandatory quick entry field), is caused by Projects that are to be created from Project templates where it is configured with Quick Entry Customer Name required. We are passing Customer Site number ( Party Bill to site number and Party Ship to side number). The site numbers being passed are also set as 'Primary'. Yet they are failing.
For the second Error ( The Class Category is invalid), I rechecked multiple times, the Class categories for the Projects I am trying to create, with the Config in R12 and they are fine. Can't understand the reason for these two issues. Has anyone encountered such an issue ? If so how was it resolved?

I resolved both the issues. In case there are others facing similar issues, following was the cause and resolution of my errors
1. Error 1: Customer Name is a Mandatory Quick Entry field. Value must be passed.
The cause was that the data loaded into our custom staging table was not in the right fields. This was because the data file values and the CTL were not in sync.
Resolution:
Corrected the data file to be in Sync with the structure defined in the CTL and this loaded it successfully
2. Error 2: The class category is invalid.
The cause of this error was that in the Projects Template (used to create the project from), the Quick Entry setup had a Class Category set as required and I was not passing a value ( a class code value) for that Class Category.

Getting list of domain names on NT, and authenticating user

Hello, I want to make an class that will check the user login name and password on a NT domain, the class will show a screen with 2 fields, username and password, and a combobox, with all domain names, on this screen the user will type his username and password and choose a domain to login to, the class will then check if he can login to that domain.
Currently the problem I have is that I couldn�t find a way to get a list of domain names.
And after I get that list, what is the best way to authenticate the user ?

I am also strucked with similar problem.
With this code i am getting the window to enter loginId/password but i am not able to authenticate it.
If you have found any solution to authenticate the user please help me.

Error: Domain name already exist

I have got the dreaded Domain name already exist error. So I need to have support to clear the server cache.
I have raised a ticket: Request #120826 for about 5 hours ago!
There is no live chat online.
For my users/visitors it is the best time to do this over the weekend. But probably not the best time if you need support... :-(
Soon i have to point back my DNS to the old site...

Getting validation error "argument type mismatch"

I have 2 dropdowns and submit button in jspx page. jspx page has corresponding backing bean with respective properties. When I select values in dropdowns and hit submit I am getting redirected to same page with validation error "argument type mismatch" beneath the dropdowns.

Kate, I bet there is more to the error than you have given here. If I were a betting man I would say it has something to do with the difference between a jbo Number type and the java Number type. I have run into this particular problem twice before. Basically the oracle jbo Number type is not compatible or automatically caste-able into a java type Number. So, perhaps in your backing bean, you have some thing that is defined as a Number in one of jdeveloper's declaritive fields (jbo Number) and in a java program somewhere you have probably declared a variable as just plain-old Number which is a different class...coming from Java's built-in types classes.
Hope that's your problem, and I hope this helps.

Do you have to buy a domain name from places like godaddy.com first?
Or can you created it on MobileMe for free?
Does it take 48hours to take effect?

All domain names must be purchased from an domain name provider. GoDaddy.com is just one of many providers.
Once you purchase your name and publish the site you can set up MobileMe to use that domain name in one of two ways:
1 - using the CNAME feature of MobileMe. These documents describes how it is done:

You should not "need" to know the user's "Windows Domain". At the same time, Sun (unrealistically) doesn't like to believe that anything beyond the JVM is needed in an application or service, so they don't provide any "use" documentation for them either in the class javadoc.
Some caveats regarding these classes: Each of these classes is only available on the system for which they are intended by default. That is, you won't find a jaas_nt.dll on any Unix system JVM, and you won't find a jaas_unix.so native library on NT. Thus, to write portable code (at least to Windows and various Unix variants), you need to use reflection to access them. Fortunately, the methods of these classes are trivial, returning strings or longs.
