Occuring Issues

I am hoping some one may be able to give me an idea of what is happening to my iBook as the following issues have started this morning.
While using my iBook the screen went black and as far as I could tell the computer was not responding but was still on. I had to hold the power button down to shut it off.
The computer did come back on after this but several times the same issue occurred and eventually when switching it back on all that happened was lots of noise from the fan and nothing else. The only way of stopping this was to remove the power and battery.
After many attempts to turn it on eventually it loaded normally. I ran a disk verify and repair permissions and all was OK.
After feeling as though it was all OK while I was using the computer it froze and horizontal coloured lines appeared on the screen in front of my frozen display I was using. I manually powered it down using the power button again and now the computer again will not load and only make a lot of fan noise after a few seconds of silence when the power button is pressed.
If I can get it to start up again I will run the PRAM and NVRAM reset.
If any one could shed some light on the situation on my previously trouble free laptop it would be greatly appreciated.

Yes I think it would be expensive to do it from new. But I found one on eBay for £10 starting bid:

Surface Pro 3 - MBAM/BitLocker/TPM: "An Error Has Occurred" Issue

We are trying to implement full disk encryption using MBAM Server/Client and BitLocker. We have been successful on standard Windows 7 Ent and Windows 8.1 Ent laptops and the MBAM Console reports encrypted/compliant.
The Surface Pro 3 running Windows 8.1 Ent however has been a pain in the you-know-what! It just will not work like our laptops. The Event Viewer error we get is as follows:
"An error occurred while applying MBAM policies.
Volume ID:\\?\Volume{dfd94fd0-206c-45d1-a19a-6a39019ada1e}\
Error code:
0x80310018
Details:
You must initialize the Trusted Platform Module (TPM) before you can use BitLocker Drive Encryption."
For reference, here is our workflow:
1. Enable TPM in UEFI.
2. Install .NET 3.5 since this is apparently a Windows 8.1 requirement for MBAM. Reboot. Install related updates from Microsoft Update. Reboot.
3. Verify relevant MBAM & BitLocker GPOs are applied by running "gpupdate /force" in an elevated command prompt. Reboot.
4. Run the following elevated PowerShell commands and then reboot:
$tpm=get-wmiobject -class Win32_Tpm -namespace root\cimv2\security\microsofttpm
$tpm.DisableAutoProvisioning()
$tpm.SetPhysicalPresenceRequest(22)
5. Install MBAM Client 2.5 and KB2975636 hotfix.
6. Run MBAMClientUI.exe and set PIN. On our laptops, encryption begins, but on the Surface Pro 3 we get a generic "An error has occurred". Event Viewer shows the above error.
Can anyone help?? There has got to be others that have used MBAM on the Surface Pro 3.

More testing today and I *think* I may have found my issue.
I failed to mention that on step 5 above, I have been rebooting after installing the MBAM Client and hotfix. It appears that this extra reboot breaks the process and does not allow the MBAM Client to initialize the TPM when running MBAMClientUI.exe. If I do
not reboot, then everything seems to work great.

That could either be the monitor or the PC, perhaps the cable.
Try another monitor to see if the problem is the same, if it is then the cable or the PC's graphics card are the problem.
If the other monitor is OK then you will need to replace the monitor.
You might also want to change the refresh rate in advanced settings under screen resolution and see if that helps.
Let me how it goes.

Issues with WebDav over SSL via Terminal Server when Accessing SharePoint 2013

We have deployed a terminal server from which multiple users access and heavily use SharePoint 2013 (hosted on a separate server). The SharePoint site is published to the internet and is operating over an SSL certificate. Over the last few months we have
been encountering a randomly occurring issue where all the users become unable to use Open with Explorer or mapped drives to access the site. During this time they can still access the site through the browser OK and download files etc. This issue sometimes
reoccurs every few days, although at points it hasn't occurred for a couple of weeks before resurfacing.
Current Terminal Server Config
TS 2008 R2 Enterprise
Site added to Trusted Sites. (have checked during broken time and still recognized as trusted)
Using IE 11, site added as compatibility view
Registries updated as below

My test result are below:
Restarting the SharePoint server or the terminal server will resolve the behaviour
until the issue occurs again.
Users on the terminal server can still open the
ttps://clientsite2.harrierhc.com
URL (this url is bound to the same UCC cert) with open with explorer during this time.
While users are unable to access the ttps://clientsite.harrierhc.com
URL, if they access the same site from WebDAV with a separate binding (e.g. ttp://clientsite the behaviour works fine.
All other users not on the terminal server can still use the open with explorer behaviour during this time.
IIS reset on the SP Server & restarting the web client service on the terminal server have no impact
Reimporting the IIS certs have no impact
There are numerous errors in both server’s event logs but none at the time of the issue instigation.
Clearing the IE cached certificates has no impact
Going to IE properties for the site and clicking the ‘Install Certificate’ has no impact

Microsoft Powerpoint Issues with OSX Mavericks

I ran a clean install of OSX Mavericks upon its initial release. Since then and the fresh installation of Microsoft Office 2011, I have encountered an occuring issue where upon opening the application, a message appears stating "There is a problem with the Office database". The message suggests rebuilding the damaged database, however I have done that multiple times with no success. I have also tried other methods suggested on the Office Support site to no avail. I have even gone to the trouble of removing and re-installing Office multiple times and the issue still persists. In the past week the issue has developed into Powerpoint crashing whenever a task is undertaken, such as copy & paste. I am running Version 14.3.9. Thanks for any help in advance.

Pop-up screen not showing while accessing transactions in SAP CRM WEB-UI

When we are logging on SAP CRM WEB UI, for transactions like Lead, Complaints and Activities-
Sometimes Pop up screen is showing for selecting transaction types, but sometimes it is not showing.
We have tried it on different work stations with same user id and standard business roles , but we are not able to trace the problem. Also with same id sometimes error shows, "No business roles attached, not allowed to logon,
after that when we tried on other workstation with same id we were able to access all transactions.
Please suggest what would be the problem.

This is sporadically occurring issue hence I cannot pin point one single reason. Since sometimes you are able to logon and some time not certainly it could not be a Role authorization issue.
Just check if your business role is properly configured. Thats all i can say.

Best practice for managing Apple ID's in an enterprise enviroment.

We have just started to incorporate iPads into our Corporate enviroment. We have had them in use for the last couple of months and to be fair they have worked well but i guess now is the time to try and workout some of the issues we are experiencing with them, the re-occuring issues that just seem to keep haunting us.
As part of the deployment we gave those with current apple id's the option of using their own, particularly those Execs who already had iPads and iPhones. We are currently using active sync with our exchange server for access to email.
How do other people manage Apple ID's?
How do other people handle the password change scenario.. we have had users on holiday where their passwords have expired and they have been unable to access the email...also the issue of you reset your password on the network but you still need to re-authenticate it on the iPad...does anyone have a decent app that can get us round this?

Customs export declaration not getting created

Hello everyone .. i need help of your expertise
I am creating billing document on R/3 and we have made it such that the F2 document flows onto GTS and creates a Customs export declaration
The issue here is i have created the billing docs but i cannot find them on GTS.
I checked the value of the goods is not equal to zero
Checked the SM58 to see of any RFC log is there at the time of document creation and time .
checked SLg1 on GTS to see if any log , but no log is there .
It is basically an export order from EU country to a non EU country
and i checked the billing doc and it is export relevant
The document is flagged to go into GTS in document control settings on R/3
Plant , company code and everything is mapped.
It is an intercompany customer transaction.
When i try to pull up the CULOEX by using the reference doc # from feeder system its saying no documents found
in test environment the billing doc is flowing onto GTS and creating CULOEX succesfully.
The sales order and delivery docs basically passed the compliance test and they are good.
Can someone suggest me where else i need to go and look at .

Could you let us know the current status of the issue? If it is resolved could you pls share us how you have done it as it is the most occurring issue and leaves no clue too? If not resolved, Could you check whether the Badi /SAPSLL/IF_EX_CTRL_SD0C_R3 is activated in R/3 or not?

Random internet slowing down on MacBook Pro with Retina Display

Hi there!
I have a 15" Macbook Pro With Retina Display, 2.6 GHz Intel Core i7, 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3, Intel Iris Pro 1024 MB, OS X 10.9.2 (13C64). late 2013
for some reason since the last system upadate, my internet on my Macbook has been slowing down at random times during operation, sometimes I am using facetime and browsing Safari, facetime continues operating normally but everything else relted to the interent would show me that there is no internet connection "Basically i cannot use anything related to the internet unless i turn off and on the wirless adapter. and its not just while using Facetime and safari but Safari alone aswell "one second am using the internet no problem playing video on youtube and checking facebook and all the sudddent it stops loading and tells me that there is no internet connected though the wireless indicator shows otherwise.
I have really fast internet and am the only one using it, i have comcast Blast Plus "57 MB/S download speeds".
could u please help me get the bottom of this random occuring issue ?

Claims authentication: "Server was unable to process request. --- Index was outside the bounds of the array"

I recently got a peculiar error when users tried to log-in into a SP 2010 portal using claims based authentication.
The following error is logged in the event viewer of the SP server in question:
Event ID 8306 - Claims authentication
An exception occurred when trying to issue security token: Server was unable to process request. ---> Index was outside the bounds of the array.
I also found an IIS warning entry with a similar message:
Event ID 1309 - Web Event
Exception type: FaultException
Exception message: Server was unable to process request. ---> Index was outside the bounds of the array.
I simply could not find an answer to why this happened, but an iisreset seemed to have fixed the issue. I was wondering if anyone here would know a possible root cause for this issue?

DPM 2010 - Getting errors when viewing reports

Microsoft DPM Forum,
I am getting the following error when attempting to view reports in DPM 2010:
An error occurred during client rendering.
An error has occurred during report processing. (rsProcessingAborted)
Cannot create a connection to data source 'DLS'. (rsErrorOpeningConnection)
Cannot open database "DPMDB" requested by the login. The login failed. Login failed for user 'servername\DPMR$servername'.
This is occurring after I rebuilt the OS on the DPM server to resolve a "tape system disconnect" issue that plagued us since November of 2013.
Any idea how to resolve this?

Thank you for that post. Yes, I saw that while I was researching a possible solution to the problem. No dice. However, I reached out to Prosenjit Kanjilal of the Microsoft DPM Support Team (as he was emailing me on our re-occurring issue
of Event ID: 15 errors - see other thread). He had me do the following:
Open SQL Studio and connect to the instance
Go to Security->Logins
Now Add 'servername\DPMR$servername' if it is not already added
I also had to add the
dbowner role to the DPMDB database under 'user mapping' for this specific user to actually resolve the issue. The user wasn't listed in the Logins in SQL Studio.

SD: Billing : Invoices send to incorrect customers

Hi All,
We are facing a peculiar issue at our client Produciton system while generating (collective - mass) invoices.
Following are the details
System Details
R/3 version - 4.6C
OS - Windows
DB- MSSQL
The following program - RV60SBT1 ( Creating Billing Documents Collectively ) is run daily to generate billing documents for those deliveries PGI'd.
All these invoices use output type - External Send ( Soft copy of Invoice to customer via e-mail, PDF Format ) and processing mode - Send Immediately (While saving the application).
We have used place holder symbols in Text for cover page of communication method to display Customer PO / SAP Invoice number, this information will appear on the subject line of the e-mail.
The output of the invoice displays relevant information while created individually or manually.
But descrepancies occur while performing collective run only.
The following cases occur:-
Issue 1 u2013 The subject line is incorrect, the invoice is correct, the e-mail reaches the correct customer
Issue 2 u2013 The subject line is correct, the invoice is wrong (the invoice no. generated in output is incorrect), the e-mail reaches the wrong customer
Issue 3 u2013 The subject line is incorrect, the invoice is wrong (the invoice no. generated in output is incorrect) , the e-mail reaches the wrong customer
Please provide your suggestions on how to resolve this issue.

Even we faced the same problem in our production server.
The solution is technical, when we are sending mails/output is huge numbers through VF06/04, there would be some problem with BUFFER.
So technical team need to write clear buffer code in starting of there print program.
take help of ABAP team.

While running verifications at version level i get this error.Pls suggest to fix this problem.
