OCFS2 Automount

Question

I am having the hardest time getting 10gRAC running using OCFS2, ASM on RHEL 4 AS. I recently started configuring everything from scratch and am running into a problem after installing OCFS2. The install works flawlessly and everything is running fine. I am trying to configure it to automount on boot. I first made sure the o2cb service is configured to run on boot:
chkconfig --add o2cb
Then, i configured o2cb to start on boot
/etc/init.d/o2cb configure
Finally, i added the following to my /etc/fstab
/dev/sdd1 /usr/oracrs ocfs2 _netdev,noauto,datavolume  0  0
After reboot, the ocfs2 volume is not mounted.
Checking the status of o2cb looks like:
/etc/init.d/o2cb status
Module "configfs": Loaded
Filesystem "configfs": Mounted
Module "ocfs2_nodemanager": Loaded
Module "ocfs2_dlm": Loaded
Module "ocfs2_dlmfs": Loaded
Filesystem "ocfs2_dlmfs": Mounted
Checking cluster ocfs2: Online
Checking heartbeat: Not active
Checking the status of services running on this node returns:
srvctl status nodeapps -n Node1
PRKH-1010 : Unable to communicate with CRS services.
[OCR Error(Native: prsr_initCLSS:[21])]
Do you think my issues are directly related to the OCFS2 volume not auto-mounting? And what am i doing wrong? Why will the OCFS2 volume not auto-mount? I can run "mount /usr/oracrs" after the reboot and it mounts just fine. Why will it not work on boot?

I had the same problem with OCFS2 not starting on reboot, but being able to mount it manually just fine on RHEL4. Try enabling the netfs service. On Red Hat 'chkconfig netfs on'. Also, after that, make sure that the o2cb service is starting BEFORE the netfs service, like this:
ls -l /etc/rc3.d/*o2cb; ls -l /etc/rc3.d/*netfs
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 14 Jan 19 11:40 /etc/rc3.d/S24o2cb -> ../init.d/o2cb
