OCIStmtFetch Fails do I need to do an exec again
Here is my problem. We have a C program that goes out and retrieves data from the V$datafile view. Every once in awhile we receive an ORA-00235 error which the only remedy for this according to Oracle metalink support is to try the query again. The problem is that this sometimes happens when we are fetching rows. My question is do I need to do my OCIStmtExecute again to start the whole process over if say I fetched 100 of the possible 200 rows from the query or will the Fetch statement be smart enough to continue on and get those final 100 rows. I was planning on executing the query again and then fetching all over unless someone has had this happen and it's okay to go ahead and try the fetch again after receiving that ORA-0235 error.
The AirPort Extreme card is designed to work only with certain Mac models. There is neither a version that works with PC, nor does your Vaio require it. If your Vaio does not have built-in wireless, one option would be to get a wireless USB adapter.

When downloading FlashPlayer it continually fail because safari needs to stop running?
Okay so I have tried about four times to do this download now and every time it gets right to the end and then fails because I need to shut down safari, but I'm pretty sure it is shut down? Someone please help as my patience is running out now
No worries. I have macro for it because a dozen people a day ask the same question, and it's totally understandable confusion.
There's a little white dot underneath the icons in the dock that tell you what applications are currently running. It's really subtle until you know to look for it. -

Can anyone elaborate on why the client seems to balk at the returned result and the getinputStream seems to result in a FileNotFoundException

Posted the entire text from the error window, when trying to update, using the normal NON-TECHIE way to update any and all Adobe CC products, via the Creative Cloud updater installed when Adobe Creative Cloud subscription was purchased when first offered.
The following occurs, ad nauseam:
There was a problem updating InDesign CC
For more information see the specific error below.
Update Failed
Download error. Press Retry to try again or contact customer support.(49)
Here's the crux of my frustration:
(1) Customer Service is NOT contact-able, to receive LIVE help.
(2) There is NO way for me to mitigate this "Download error", being a student learning InDesign, and NOT in any way capable of tweaking folders/files here and there.
Therefore, the real question:
Given that a significant number of subscribers are having the above referenced issue with attempting to download the current update for InDesign, WHAT ARE WE SUPPOSED TO DO, in order to get our contractually paid-for updates to our legally and contractually paid-for Adobe software, specifically in my case, InDesgin's current update?
Please, NO TECHNICAL mumbo-jumbo which most likely will cause the overwhelming majority of users, like me, to seriously corrupt their computer files, but rather an honest, straightforward "what to do" from real CS/Engineers working for Adobe, as to how to FIX this issue, period.

UPDATE:
Here is a way in which I think I was able to "update" my InDesign CC application:
(1) Sign-In to your Adobe Account
https://www.adobe.com/
(2) Click on the MENU icon
(3) Click on the product InDesign icon
Your browser should display the page for Adobe InDesign CC
https://www.adobe.com/products/indesign.html?promoid=KLXLU
(4) Click on the Download icon,
Your browser should now display the page to download InDesign,
https://creative.adobe.com/products/download/indesign
(5) a Pop-Up window should open, and display:
Launch Application
This link needs to be opened with an application.
with the first option to select being the CreativeCloud(URIHandler)
(5) Select this application and click OK.
What happened when I followed steps (1) thorugh (5) is that:
(a) InDesign CC(2014) was installed,
(b) InDesign CC, updated, and then
(c) InDesign CC(2014), also updated.
Why this all worked, is a mystery to me.
Looks like a separate, "new" version of InDesign, InDesign CC(2014), was installed, the existing "old" InDesign was updated, and then the newly installed Indesign CC(2014) was further updated.
A BIT MORE, when I launched my InDesign CC app, and checked to see if there were Updates Available, there in fact was an Adobe InDesign CC 64 bit (9.2.2) update.
I clicked on UPDATE and my "old" InDesign CC app was "successfully updated."
FURTHER INFO: I may have neglected to list some important info ... OS: Windows 8.1 Pro with Media Center, 64-bit
Confused, I am able to launch BOTH of these apps, and hopefully I may use one of these versions of the InDesign CC app, to do some InDesign work.

Following a message saying that my Startup disc was full and advising me to delete some files, I deleted my trash but then apps started to fail. When I tried to log on again, all I got was a blank screen and a cursor, so I am unable to delete any more files. I am a Mac Book Pro virgin, help
How much free space do you actually have? Go to the Apple menu and select About This Mac... More Info... and click on the Storage tab. You should see something like this...
This will show you how much free space you have and what's taking up all the space on your hard drive. You may need to backup and trash some seldom used files, applications, etc. You have to drag them into the Trash and empty the trash to regain the space. A general rule of thumb is that you should have about 15% of your hard drive storage free.

When you add a gift card balance to the Apple ID, it's available for the Apple ID.
Probably best to create unique Apple ID's for each... this will also make things easier in the future as purchases are eternally tied to the Apple ID they were purchased with. -

Restart and your Mac should start up in normal mode, so you can use speakers again.
If it doesn't work, reset the PRAM > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1379
If nothing works, open Terminal (in /Applications/Utilities) and type:
sudo nvram -d boot-args

After a recent hard drive crash I needed to authorise my pc again. I first de-authorised all previous computers (there was no other option)
Then I authorised the pc with the new hard drive.
then I tried to sync
Then itunes tells me iphone cannot sync as pc not authorised.
when I try to authorise the pc, itunes tells me pc is already authorised...
I have been playing this game 10 times now ... "cannot sync because pc not authorised" and then "cannot authorise as already authorised"

thanksyes, a few times. the number of authorised computers decreases and increases from zero to one and vice versa accordingly. yet I am still being told that it cannot sync.

For a fresh download on a new hard drive, it's best to start with the CC desktop app. Sign into adobe.com and download it here: creative.adobe.com/products/download/creative-cloud
You can then launch the desktop, sign in and download PS & LR. -

On both my desktop and notebook, sync just stops working and needs to be set up again! Although my account is still there ?
I have windows 7 on both computers and I use the paid version of Roboform (which does not encounter any problems!) So, I really need my sync to work and keep working. Please help......Do you mean that after closing the browser your Sync set up is gone and you need to Set it up again?
This is, generally, because your privacy settings are too restrictive and you are deleting the password of your Sync account.
You can modify this in the Privacy tab of your Preferences/Options window. Select Remember History or Use Custom Settings in the drop down to configure the level that you want.
