Wasiq.Please do the following.
1. Register and check status on certview
2. Read the Where is my certificate forum announcement post. Very carefully.
3. If all else remains failed raise an sr with all previous contact details, and an alternate email address, and indicate responses from previous sr has failed to reach you.
IMHO most issues are with emails back from oracle not getting through. The response to your sr would have been first confirm your details and after you have confirmed them to resend the certain. A recent post from brandye describes this better .... But I am on an iPad and it's harder work for me to post.

  • OCP Certification Not Received after 45 Days!!

    Hi
    I have completed my OCP10g Admin on 19 sep 2012, done all formalities, Success Kit shows "You should receive your success kit within 45 days of the ‘Created Date’ above" my Created Date is same 19 Sep 2012, I have raised the SR with +"*Oracle Certification Support*" (http://education.oracle.com/pls/eval-eddap-dcd/OU_SUPPORT_OCP.home?p_source=OCP)+, there is no response from them. 45 Days criteria Already Passed.
    What is the best solution to get the certificate from Oracle soon?
    Why we have to do follow up everytime to get the certificate from Oracle, though Oracle ask all things needs to be fulfilled like "Course completion" etc. and I did that, also I want to mention here My Testing ID is same so there is no issue of different testing ids.
    Experts please advise,
    Thanks & Regards
    TJ
    Note: Success Kit Status reads this *19-SEP-12 | 1Z0-098 | Oracle Database 10g Hands-On Course Requirement | PASS*

    Taking your questions in reverse order:
    Note: Success Kit Status reads this 19-SEP-12 | 1Z0-098 | Oracle Database 10g Hands-On Course Requirement | PASSThat's not the data from the 'Success Kit Status' page. That is from the 'Exam History' page. The fields from the 'Success Kit Status' page are:
    Candidate Name     Shipping Status     Created Date     Certification     Address1     Address2     Address3     City     State     Postal Code     Country
    Success Kit shows "You should receive your success kit within 45 days of the ‘Created Date’ above" my Created Date is same 19 Sep 2012The line with the date of 19-SEP-12 is not from the Success kit page as indicated above. The Success kit is very unlikely to have that same date, as OE would have needed time to verify your course attendence. Even my most recent test has the success kit status the day following the 'Test Start Date' from the exam page and there was no course to be verified. You're is probably several days later than the date you passed the test. That said, the 45 day period is not an 'Oracle' delay. The date shown in that screen is when they shipped the packet, and they suggest waiting 45 days before becoming concerned about delivery because of the time it takes for some overseas shipments to arrive.
    I have raised the SR ...there is no response from them45 days from 19-SEP would have been 03-NOV -- two days ago (and Saturday). Unless you jumped the gun, that means your SR was created yesterday or the day before. You might give them a couple of business days to respond.
    Why we have to do follow up everytime to get the certificate from OracleI have received about ten certificates from Oracle. I have never had to follow up on any of them. However, I don't stand by the mailbox counting the days either. Once I pass the test, the time for worrying is over. Oracle will send the certificate. It's conceivable that a certificate can get lost in the mail -- especially for overseas shipments. However, they will send it.
    Go back into Certview and click on the 'Success Kit Status' Page. Has the kit been sent?

  • Not Recieved MC ID yet

    Hi team,
    I have passed my Certification Exam on 27/12/2013,but not recieved MCID yet.
    My details are mentioned Below:
    Sunny Singh
    thanks

    Hi, Sunny.
    Congratulations on passing the exam!
    You should have received an email from the Microsoft Learning Certification team congratulating you on passing your exam. It sounds like you didn't get one.
    I think you need to contact Microsoft Learning Support to get this fixed. Keep your printed exam results handy when you contact them. It has important information that might be needed to fix this.
    You will need to contact your Microsoft Regional Service Center. Their email address ([email protected]) has been flaky lately (not working) so you may need to call them on the phone if your email bounces back to you. Please use the following web
    page to find the contact information for help.
    http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en-us/help.aspx.
    This web page includes email and phone contact information for your geographic location so you can email or call them directly. They will help you get this figured out.
    NOTE: This public forum is usually monitored by fellow IT professionals like you and me but not by Microsoft employees.
    NOTE: For security purposes, if I were you, I'd edit your message above and change your candidate ID to: SRnnnnnnn. I don't want anyone to see or steal your candidate ID.
    Good luck!

  • The course I did to gain OCP certification in Oracle Database 11g does not appear on the courses submission list on the website of pearson vue.

    The course I did to gain OCP certification in Oracle Database 11g does not appear on the courses submission list on the website of pearson vue, I sent an email to [email protected] from < email address deleted by moderator >, without an answer in 7 days since 01/28/2015, the email is below, the title of my course is in Portuguese.  What should I do in this case ?
    Dear Oracle.
    I am sending this email because recently I passed in the exam 1Z0-053 Oracle Database 11g: Administration II, which is the last examination necessary to acquire the OCP Certification. However, in the path to the certification I need to prove that I participated in an Oracle Official Training.
    Searching for the course on the pearson vue site, I have not found the course name on the list. So I am sending this email with the course information required for certification. I attended to the course in college FIAP (http://www.fiap.com.br/en/conheca-a-fiap/parcerias-estrategicas/), in the city of São Paulo, Brazil, from March/2010 to March/2011. Accessing the link above is possible to verify that the educational institution is an Oracle Partner. The title that I got was "Graduate in Oracle Database Management".
    In this email I attached a copy of the FIAP Certified Course (front.jpg certificate, certificate back.jpg). I’m also sending the data from my profile in the pearson vue site (Pearson VUE - My profile.pdf), and my scores in the exams for OCP certification (1Z0-051.pdf, 1Z0-052.pdf, 1Z0-053.pdf ).
    If you need any further information just let me know and I will provide.
    Please acknowledge this information and grant me the OCP certification (Oracle Database 11g Administrator Certified Professional).
    Regards.
    Italo Moisés dos Santos.
    Oracle Testing ID:  < deleted by moderator >

    Sorry, I expressed myself badly.
    When I access http://www.pearsonvue.com/oracle/course/ and start submission process  of the course, in the first step “Select the track for which you have completed a certification requirement” I selected the option “Oracle Database 11g Administrator OCP”, in the second step I selected “ILT = Instructor Led Training”,  but when I got on the third step “Which course or requirement did you complete?”  I have to choose the course name that I did, the course name that I did does not appears in that list, so I do not know which one to select, even having at the end of the form the option “Other ...(Course or requirement is not shown above. Please enter title below.)” the course name I did is in Portuguese/Brazil, the name is “MBA em gestão de banco de dados oracle” in Portuguese, which in English would look like "Graduate in Oracle Database Management".
    I sent an email to [email protected] containing the information that I found necessary to obtain certification.
    But if I have to do the process in the pearson vue site, should I put the course name in Portuguese or in English ?
    Only the email I sent is not enough ?
    Thanks for the help, and sorry for my english !

  • Not recieved my shipment

    Hello Sir/Madam,
    I did not recieved my Oracle success kit yet, i gave exam on 30th April 2012 and passed successfully.
    I checked my pearson vue account and address was correct, any ways I have added some more info to the address now.
    I already raised SRs for this issue but did not get any response from Oracle Support- highly disappointed
    Can you please guide me what to do to get my success KIT.
    Waiting for your kind reply.
    thank you in advance.

    Sorry..that was not my intention..I appologies...You do actually seem like a good fe-llow.
    I have registered on certview but unfortunately I am not able to find the exact navigation/path to track my shipment if it had earlier dispatched.
    It would be very helpful if you help me on that..
    Thanks and regards,The information on certview for this is found by:
    Goto: http://certview.oracle.com
    Press the sign in button
    Press the Certification Status Tab
    Press the Success kit Status TAB.
    You should seen a line like:
    BIGDELBOY      1st shipment      31-DEC-99      Oracle Power Objects Certified Associate -      Fra-tton Park Frogmore Road, Ports-mouth P-O-4 8RA
    The key item here is the shipment date ..... (31-DEC-99) It takes 6/8 weeks from that to get your shipment. In fact Oracle will not respond if your raise SR's before that date.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Now my understanding is that if Oracle has determined you need a reship:
    - They will send you an electronic copy immediately
    - THe will order you a reshipment:
    -- For some reshipments I assume that will appear in certview .... but it may take up to about a week to appear in certview. And up to 6/8 weeks to appear in your inbox.
    --For certain expedited ships they may no appear in certview.
    *Now: The the certview success kit (incl certificate) cannot be tracked via a D-H-L track-er or InsihMurrayPostlTracker whatever.  All you get is a shipment date (which I think personally is better thought of as the date the order way place with the success kit manufacture, not the date of post-ing.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    - (1) I suggest you wait a week after your electronic copy to see if any shipment appears in certview
    - (2) Although you received an electronc copy of your certificate for Oracle I remain unsure if all comminucations to you re getting though. I suspect the obfistication used to protect individual certification helpdesk staff may provoke some spa-m filters more than other communications.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    It may be after a week you feel you need to raise another SR.
    One key way on how to raise SR's effectively is suggested by Brandy here: {message:id=10266530} wher a candidate felt Oracle were not replying to him:
    My suggestion to you would be to submit a new SR, and reference one of your previous SRs, provide confirmation that your mailing address and other information are correct at Pearson VUE and in CertView, ask for your certificate to be reshipped  .... and let them know that you have not received any of their email communications. I would also suggest that you provide an alternate email address.
    It is worth noting certview can also publish you credentials to third parties: It works something like:-
    You supply to certview 3rd party's email address and what you want published there:
    Third party gets email giving URL and credentials to viewthe certifications the you have permitted to be viewd.
    This should be suffient proof to a third party in lieu of a certificate.
    It is worth publishing the credential to yourslf once so you get practce as to how this works.
  • 9i DBA OCP certification possible on OS X 10.2.x Jaguar?
    Has anybody successfully completed the 9i DBA OCP certification using Oracle9i Database Release 2 Enterprise Edition for Apple Mac OS X Version 10.2 Jaguar ( see http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/htdocs/devlic.html?http://otn.oracle.com/software/products/oracle9i/htdocs/macsoft.html )?
    According to the Release Notes, Oracle9i Database Release 2 Enterprise Edition for Apple Mac OS X Version 10.2 Jaguar is strictly a developer release, and does not support database options such as Real Application Clusters, JavaVM, and other "advanced database features." In that case, is it sufficient for self-training for certification?
    I use a PowerBook. I already passed Exam# 1Z0-007: Introduction to Oracle9i: SQL® ( see http://www.oracle.com/education/certification/objectives/7.html?_template=/ocom/ocom_item_templates/ocom_blank_template_with_site_cat ) on June 2, 2002, narrowly avoiding the Instructor-Led/Hands-On Course Requirement Deadline ( see http://www.oracle.com/education/certification/news/o9ionecourse_newdate.html ), and wish to avoid being required now to take an instructor-led course.
    The requirements for the new 10g DBA OCP certification have, apparently, not yet been posted (I got an "Sorry, this page was not found (Error Document 404)" error message when I just clicked on the link "Oracle Database 10g Administrator Certified Professional (1 exam)" ( see http://www.oracle.com/education/certification/dba10g_ocp.html ) on the "Oracle Database 10g Administrator Certification Paths" page ( see http://www.oracle.com/education/certification/dba10g_track.html )). However, I am very concerned that they will include a new Instructor-Led/Hands-On Course Requirement Deadline, which I wish to avoid. I'd rather continue with my 9i DBA OCP certification, and then upgrade to 10g.
    Does anybody have any suggestions?
    -- Benjamin L. Russell
    [email protected]
    It will better to continue 9i certification and then upgrade to 10i in your present situation.
    as for as concern you says that
    Release Notes, Oracle9i Database Release 2 Enterprise Edition for Apple Mac OS X Version 10.2 Jaguar is strictly a developer release, and does not support database options such as Real Application Clusters, JavaVM, and other "advanced database features."
    I think it will support the database option. Oracle experts can give better answer this.
  • OCP Certification vs University Degree
    Can the OCP Certification recognized as a University degree?
    How can a Certifcation by any vendor compareed with Universtity recognised degree
    University degree For example B.S(computrer science)/B.E computer science or any degree it covers wide areas of computers and inforamtion technology.I am Enginnering graduate on Computer science discipline but not a OCP yet but few of my friends along with me spent 4 yrs to complete the degree with some real stress but most of my friends got Certification in 2 months time with the DUMPs and all these stuffs but you cant do that with a university
    I had subjects varying from control system,compiler design ,numerical methods and the list goes on ..It makes people to think how things in the computer works
    but i dont think any certifcation does helps you to gian that level knowledge
    but you can master your area of interest with your certification theoritcaly but not praftically but the university degrees practical exposure/exams that are not preasent in certain certtifcation
    Degree makes a person a computer professional but a certification makes a person product specific proferssional
  • Not recieved my software
    hi have bought adobe lightroom from you 0n the 7th of april but have not recieved it yet its now the 1st of may plese try and track my parcell
    my order number is   AD004188274EDUK   and my united parcel service number is   1Z 4V4 A49 04 5534 0775
    According to the tracking number provided, UPS has had your Lightroom since the 4th, delivery was attempted on the 19th, then twice on the 22nd.
    I've never had any delivery service try to contact me that an attempt was made beside a sticker on my door. Usually you can contact after the first attempt and have them return on a specific day whey you will be around. Also, if you use the tracking number ahead of time, you can find out the estimated time of delivery and reschedule. I had to due just that when I was at my brother's wedding.
    It looks like you've already contacted us about this and that a second delivery will be tried, but yes, there will be a time delay due to some strange delivery policy on the part of UPS. I can't believe that two tries on the same day count as two different delivery attempts.
  • 10g OCP certificate not received(waiting for 2 months)
    Hi,
    I have sent details requested for cetificate processing to [email protected] and given below is the copy of the details.
    Full Name: xxxx
    Oracle Testing id: xxxxx
    Exam Taken : 1Z0-040-ENU: Oracle Database 10g: New Features for Administrators
    Score: 100%
    I am waiting for my OCP 10g certificate. I completed the Oracle exam 1Z0-040 on Dec 1,2010  and its been more than 2 months now....
    I completed Oracle 9i OCP in 2007.
    Please let me know why i dint receive the ceritifcate (or anything is needed from my side) and when can i receive the certificate.
    There is no reply from Oracle for couple of my mails.
    Please guide me...I want this certificate..
    DB wrote:
    Hi,
    Thanks for the reply.
    I have already registered my details with certview. Sorry, I dont like getting sympathies from anyone.
    I figured out the issue.
    Since I completed Oracle 9i OCP with prometric and did 10g OCP with pearson, details of my 9i OCP are not reflecting in Pearson VUE.
    I dont remember the prometric id.
    But once i get the prometric Id, Can you please let me know how to merge the 9i OCP details in pearson VUE site?
    Thanks,
    DBOK. .... No sympathy then ;-)
    However .....
    It may (or may not) be you are suffering from having taking exams under two Oracle Testing Id.
    What should have happened is that when you registered with Pearson VUE for your exam you existing Prometric Id should have become your Oracle Testing Id. If however you were allocated a new Oracle Testing Id then the exams will be against two different Oracle Testing Id's, and it will be as if 2 different people have taken the exams.
    Please note exams passed under Prometric will never be shown on the Pearson VUE system .... however exams taken under both Pearson VUE and Prometric will show under Certview. So it is Certview where you need to look.
    If you look under Certview and only see some of your exams, in particular those from Pearson VUE and not Prometric (allowing for lag of a week after you pass them), then you probably have taken exams under two Oracle Testing Ids.
    To Summarise:
    1) If under Certview you can see all of your exams .... then you do not have a problem of having two or more Oracle Testing ID's.
    2) If under certview you can see all of your exams, but you do not have the certfications awarded you expect, then there would appear to be a problem with the pre-requisites Certview (and the Oracle Certification database) thinks you need and you think you need.
    3) If under certview you can see your exams under Pearson VUE, but not under Prometric, then you probably have taken exams under two Oracle Testing Id's. You need to establish both of these and follow the procedure for + I have taken my tests under two different candidate IDs. How can I get these merged? + under the FAQs.
    Basically certview helps to confirm if the certification was actually awarded (and a little investigation should show why it was not) or if the problem was a shipping error.
  • Guys i did my OCA Certification. KIndly suggest me as what i should do now for a good job in india beside completing OCP certification?
    I want to work and i need to know what are the scopes & what i should do to get a good job which has further growth and what courses can i do beside OCP certification. I am confused so kindly help me. Also, i completed my OCA 6 months before does it effect in getting jobs?
    As Phillippe indicates -- which OCA you mean makes a big difference.  My guess is you are referring to the DBA OCP, but I could be wrong.  I have written a number of articles targeted to people looking to start their Oracle career.  Links to four of them are below:
  • 9i OCA to 10g OCP Certification
    Hi,
    I am an OCA (Oracle 9i). I have passed my first exam on 01st july 2002 of IZO-001 and Fundemantals 1 in 2004. I am planning to move towards 10g and complete my OCP certification. I have few questions related to this.
    1. I have to appear in Admin1 and Admin 2 module of 10G to complete my OCP cerftification for 10g. Is this true?
    2. Do I need to take any course from oracle university in order to get certificate from oracle? As I read from website that there is an exemption for the applicants who have passed their first test before 01st September 2002. Please clear this point as I have passed my first exam before 01st september 2002.
    I shall be really thankful to you for your quick and favorable response.
    With regards to the hands on course exemption ......
    My understanding is ...
    - Is that at least previously people who had taken a (relevant) certification exam prior to 2002 were exempt from the 9i DBA OCP hands on course.
    - (I have now found the relevant page below):
    - However my understanding is they are not exempt from the 10g DBA OCP hands on (so to obtain 10g DBA OCP without a hands on course they would need to go via 9i DBA OCP first).
    - So my understanding is to obtain a 10g DBA OCP (given a success with 1z0-001 prior to 2002) you would either:
    1) Take 1z0-032 and 1z0-033 (and submit a 9i DBA OCP hands on course exemption for exam pass prior to 2002)
    - Then as a 9i DBA OCP take the exams required to be 10g DBA OCP (eg 1z0-040 (or 1z0-042 + 1z0-043) )
    2) Pass 1z0-042 to 10g DBA OCA
    pass 1z0-043 and submit appropriate hands-on-course exemption for 9i DBA OCP.
    Reference:
    The page [http://education.oracle.com/pls/web_prod-plq-dad/db_pages.getpage?page_id=99#1] indicates how to submit a hands on course exemption for 9i DBA OCP. I recommend you do this immediately to confirm your position (I cant see any harm in doing this).
    ------ I also recommend you register on Certview to confirm your exmption has been accepted.
    Please note this is my best understanding .... th Certification Forum Moderator may choose to comment or you may wish to confirm with ocpexam_ww. However I my reading of the above reference under the section Candidates who are exempt from the Oracle9i hands-on course requirement because they took their first exam on or before September 1, 2002 seems to be clear enough.
  • Reg: OCP certification.
    i am in application development for the past 6 years, but in
    dbms platform. now i've changed my platform to vb/oracle.
    i am well versed in software design and database design.
    i wants to know how far OCP certification will be helpful for me
    in my career.
    my email and chat id. is [email protected]
    thanks in advance.
    Hi,
    First of all, you have not mentioned about OCP for what ?
    -- Application developer ?
    -- DBA ??
    -- DBO ??
    If you are changing your front-end other Oracle forms with
    backend Oracle database, you may not consider OCP.
    If you want to concerntrate more on backend, you might think of
    DBA or DBOs. That will be helpful for your career. Good luck...!
    Edited by: anandk on May 25, 2011 4:22 PMThe OCP certification requires you take the training course, the exam itself does not.
    There is actually nothing to stop you enrolling and sitting (intl english appearing) for the exam. However if you pass you wont be certified until you take the requisite training and have it verified.
    There is no way you will skip training and still be awarded the certification
    I would have thought OAS is now superceded by weblogic and is in the twilight of its life. And there are probably diminishing numbers of courses for it ... but you seem to be lucky ....
    there also be Oracle University LVC (online) classes that apply ..... (ie one does not have to get ones favourite train (eg Darjeeling express or ... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_named_passenger_trains_of_India ) to get there:
    From my inspections of http://education.oracle.com there appear to be relevant LVC online classes for asia (Please check carefully to ensure the classes are suitable .. ie not later version weblogic ones).
