we have 11.2.0.1 Grid infrastructure and 10.2.0.5 database 2 node RAC.
ocr autobackup runs on node1. not all the times but cople of times in a day when backup runs i see crsd.bin crash on other node.
node1: alert logs looks like

root cause lloks to me like which is started 2 minutes eraly in CRSD.log of node1 at the time of ocr backup.

yes you can upgrade just the cluster (or better grid infrastructure home).
In the 11.2.0.2 patchset there is one "disk" which contains the software for the GI. Simply use this to upgrade the clusterware. This won't touch the database home and can be done rolling.

You should first uninstall any previous version of Flash Player, using the uninstaller from here (make sure you use the correct one!):

and also that you follow the instructions closely, such as closing ALL applications first before installing. You must also carry out a permission repair after installing anything from Adobe.

Hemos implementado la nota 2118293 en nuestro sistema de desarrollo.
Al hacerlo, hemos tenido muchos problemas; creo que no están bien determinados los prerrequisitos y habría que incluir las notas 2081541, 2113985, 2116252 y 21150303... bueno, a lo mejor alguna no es imprescindible, con el lio no sé seguro.
Aún después de implementar esas notas se han quedado “desordenados” los objetos y no era capaz de activarlos correctamente salvo recurriendo a registrarlos en SSCR y activándolos uno a uno en el orden correcto. Un lio en toda regla.

Pros and Cons not determining / having a Delivery Plant in Sales Order?

Here I have come-up with one more (weired?) requirement from my client.
We have two plants manufacturing same product and supplying to all customers (some time in same sales order with two different line items).
At the timeof creating a sales order, marketing does't know from which plant the material will move and hence they don't want to fill the Delivering Plant field (VBRP-BUKRS at Shipping tab) for each Item.
They are insisting me to map it as above though I had explained about various pros and cons for not determining a mandatory delivery plant
in sales order like the requirements and shipping stuff.
Yet, yet they want this.
Has anyone come across this kind of requirement before? What best you had done for that?
Can I ask you what are the Pros and cons on not having a Delivery Plant at Sales Order level?
what if I could determine it Delivery level?
Any comments, suggestions, replies and advices are taken humbly.

Interstingly, they are insisting on a better solution fit for their requirement. Anyway shall 'highlight' the points again to them try to get it solved

Inactive and Active Workspace in CONS not in sync

We are facing a situation in the NWDI. The Public Part declared in a DC was renamed to Common_FunctionsSDA and Common_FunctionsAPI. During the activity imports into CONS system we observed that the activities failed because the DC in CONS system still refers to the old name of the Public Part (Common_FuntionsSDA and Common_FuntionsAPI) as below,

The active and inactive spaces of CONS are not in sync at all... How do we correct this error? Can we directly sync the active and inactive spaces with some tool? Also, the inactive space is similar to DEV still it ends with the error of being unable to load the definition of the Public Part (error as above)..how an this occur when all the activites are first imported into the inactive space of CONS and then integrated into the active space..correct me if I am wrong here.

Hi,
If you know the missing data then either you can try to do a selective loading by creating new DTP from DSO to Cube.
But if you don't have proper selection available then you might have to go for Full Repair i.e. Full load using new DTP.
Note: You will have to delte all the existing data from Infocube before full load. Make sure that DSO has all the data available.

FOIP max-conn not working

max-conn in FOIP is not working properly. Even after i set max-conn to 1, possible to make 2 simultanious faxes to the specific dial-peer.
Anyone know how to change the FOIP TIF attachemnt name (Cisco_fax.tif) to other name?

This command applies to off-ramp Store and Forward Fax functions. verify you are using On Ramp or Off Ramp

10.4.8 and Airport Extreme - wireless con. not showing up on boot up

Ever since I installed 10.4.8, in order for my 2WIRE connecttion to show up in the "Internet Connect" drop menu on my desk top, I have to check off the "Internet Robustness" setting first, and only then will my airport extreme locate 2WIRE and connect.
I've engaged - and disengaged to see if it made any difference - the preference for "enable interference robustness in the Airpor>options pane. Made no difference. It's not a huge deal, but I wonder why the change. Any ideas?

Could be that a combination of the last OSX 10.4 security update and also
the AirPort Extreme updates have some effects on these subtle or not so
subtle differences in how the system works, now. Mine occasionally won't
work correctly with my desktop iMacG4 unless the Robustness setting is
turned on; and I have the nearby option to choose a wired connection
through the AEBS on the wall by my desktop computer, too. My iBook
seems to mostly just work; unless there is an AEBS or IP/DSL issue.
That kind of problem never used to happen and I'd just lose the wireless
without any understandable reason; at least now I know interference rob-
ustness setting appears to make a difference when it unexpectedly quits,
I have at least one more thing to toggle to see if I get it back; before I
start in on the DSL modem or other settings inside the AirPort Setup Utility.
The last thing if it does not work, is unplug the AEBS and/or ADSL unilt.
But, if you use a small straightened paperclip in the reset hole, you'd
have to check and rechoose settings in the AEBS; as it goes default.
Seems to me, once I uploaded to the AEBS from the iBook that runs
OSX 10.4.x, it was acting funky; but for awhile since another update
was done, it seems to work OK. Since the odd behavior messed with
the iMacG4 (10.3.9) I more often use it via ethernet from AEBS. The
iBook sees the wireless better than the iMacG4. Since both of mine
have Extreme wireless cards, I changed the AirPort's 802.11 to /g only.
That helped a bit and the desktop Mac on wi-fi doesn't drop as much.
I see no real answers to "fix" this; but there is some incidental evidence
that some newer spec wireless base stations may be coming soon to
an authorized reseller or through the authentic online source. Perhaps a
new answer is out there, in new hardware and software. I hope an update
will fix these little issues; I've had one AEBS for about three years and
it used to just work fantastically with OS 9.2.2 and standard airport, with
dialup. Then I brought in Jaguar in the machines I had then, and Panther;
plus Tiger, and now two other Macintoshes plus a spare AEBS.

Wireless conn not scaning wireless SSID automatically after stanby/hybernate

I have cisco 1242 access point running WPA2/AES TKIP profile with EAP authentication in broadcast. I have dell laptops that have 3945ABG wireless card. The connection works when you configure the profile on laptop with windows wireless manager and when computer recovers from stanby/hybernat it doesnot scan the network automatically. you have to refresh the wireless network manager and refresh the network list to make the connection with the SSID. Is this issue is with the laptop or with the Access point? I tried a various things on laptop but not able to troubleshoot so i am thinking it may be some timers/beacon/signal settings that needs to be tweeked. Any help will be appriciated.

Adobe tries to open all programs and con not be uninstall

Hi, I am using Windows XP and I installed Adobe Reader X 10.1.3 But after I installed Adobe, I could not open any files except the ones on desktop. I can not use any of them from Start or Control Panel. I tried to uninstall Adobe from Control Panel>Default Programs>Program Install/Unistall but still tries to open with Adobe. Is there any other way that I can uninstall?

It seems that the file association for .exe and .cpl may have been corrupted (and are now pointing to Adobe Reader).
Can you open Windows Explorer, or does it give you the same problem?
When did this start? Can you possibly do a System Restore to a date before it started?
This may be quite difficult to solve if you cannot open any .exe or .cpl files.

Con not assign TASK TYPE for Put away during PO receipt

Good morning everyone!
I spent a lot of time to setup WMS Task assigment rule with no result.
My goal is to make Task assigment for inbound tasks. Particulary put away after receipt.
Expected behavor: after receipt in receiving area system should assign task type. This can be checked via "Warehouse control board" form, "Task type" column.
Actual (current behavour): task is created and even can be seen via "Warehouse control board" form. But there's no task type. For Task assigment the only rule exists.
To be sure that it works with other tasks types I've checked on Move order. Works well.

This case happened to me too in R12.
The system did not assign task type after receipt in the receiving area. Moreover, I cannot update status from "Pending" to "Queue" to the user via "Warehouse Control Board" form for these put away tasks. It always show the error message "Cannot update putaway task." after press execute button. So How can I assign these task to specific user?

CSCsy35054 - NP1/2 UDP conns not updated when MAC address changes

We have a customer that appears to be experiencing this bug but with FWSM 4.1(15).
There is a Linux HA solution on one side of the FWSM and when a failover occurs the Linux HA sends a Gratuitous ARP which updates the FWSM ARP cache however not all connections are updated. If we sniff traffic exiting the FWSM we can see the destination MAC address for 'some' existing connections have the wrong MAC address (the old MAC address). The clients are constantly sending traffic (SIP) to the Linux server so the connection states are continually refreshed. If we manually clear the connections or let them time out by disconnecting one of the SIP clients for 30-minutes (the default SIP control channel session timeout) it recovers, however this isn't practical.
We have recommended introducing a layer-3 hop between the FWSM and the Linux HA devices as we suspect this will solve the problem (i.e. the destination MAC will be the L3 next-hop and not the Linux server itself). In looking at the issue we identified the behaviour as the same as that documented under BugID: CSCsy35054, however this says it appeared in 3.2(6) and was fixed in 3.2(12.1) & 4.0(5.4) however we are running 4.1(15) which is the latest release.
Any other ideas?

Well your configuration looks great to me... nothing is obviously standing out at least..
If the routers ping request makes it to your client, then the router must at least be able to arp for you.
Have you tried to ping the gateway from the WLC itself? (vlan 171 it appears)
I'm curious if the WLC even gets the ping through. 'show arp switch' on the WLC would show its arp table as well...
I'm not very proficient with the router debugging, but perhaps there is some kind of ARP debug you can run to verify if the ARP request is even coming out of the WLC from your client?
Again, the config looks go to me, so either this is a situation where a nice save config and reboot would come in handy (perhaps coupled with shutting down the interfaces and turning them back on)..... or something just isn't right....
Does this happen with the other vlans you have coming in to the WLC? Perhaps there is just something going on the router side where it isn't responding to the arp.... which comes back to the whole shutting down interfaces and/or rebooting. Obviously this isn't root-cause, but should at least provide sanity-check.
