Odd Error When Changing Track T

I am getting the following error when I try to change the tags on some songs:
"The Track Information has been updated in PC Music Library, but not in the audio file, because the file may be in use, or the file is marked as read-only."
For some reason, the Artist, Album, and Genre are (Unknown) on maybe ten tracks. When I change any one of them I get the error.
I am using Creative MediaSource, (because I am too dense to figure out MP3 Library) as I want to update to the newest firmware, which will format my Touch again.
In Windows, the files do not show the read-only box checked.
It would not be a huge deal to just re-rip the songs, but does anyone know why this might happen? I want to prevent it in the future.

Have you downloaded and installed the latest MediaSource v3.30.2? If you have already done so, and you are sure that the files are not read-only and not in use, I am interested to see the file because I think that the file may have a corrupted tag. If you don't mind, you can send one or two of the "problematic" files to me at:

Music Stutters when changing tracks encoded using FLAC

When changing tracks encoded with FLAC, the song stutters a bit at the beginning of each song. The rest of the song continues to play fine. It's just at the beginning when changing tracks manually.
These very same tracks played fine with the previous firmware on the iPod and play fine on my MacBook now using iTunes.
Anyone else running into the same thing?? Everything works, but its rather annoying!!!

Try that link out and try setting it up via user in the alternate setup. I had issues it running as deamon... This way it will run as a local user and just add it to a start script when you start your .xinitrc or autostart.sh...

Error when changing BPM: "Insufficient access privileges"

Hello, Logic Express gurus:
I am just a lowly fitness instructor trying to mix her own music (self taught DJ). When changing the BPM here's what I do:
I double click on the song track, then from the window that pops up, I click on the "Factory" pull down menu, then choose "Temp and Pitch Machine". When I change the BPM to the desired tempo and click "Process & Paste", I get the following error:
"Insufficient access privileges for operation (Result code -5000)", then another error stating:
"Error when creating temp file!"
It used to work beautifully. Can anyone assist me? Thanks.

Why do I get a program error when changing colors?

I get a 'Could not complete your request because of a program error' when I try to change colors on both the forground/background palette or from the color picker palette. Is there a patch for this?

I think I found something.
When I create a BOM with ALE in the Target, no problem. Then when I want to update it, I've got this error ...
In the Source, we're working with Text Object for Text Item (INCLUDE Text ID). But in the Target, Text Object doesn't exist, and when we update or modify the BOM via ALE, the Inbound Process try to find the old Text Object before updating it with the new one ...
I think the solution is to create all Text Object/ID (Ta SO10) in the Target ... I don't understand why the ALE Inbound Process doesn't create Text Objects if they don't exist...

Satellite M40: Graphic Errors when changing screen resolution

Hi,
I have a Satellite M40 and a big problem.
in windows xp pro sp2:
when a program changes the screen resolution, the screen gets messed up,
I see only stripes and only a restart can get it back working (or suspend to disk).

I plugged an external monitor to the laptop and it works,
the laptop screen is full of lines and the 2nd monitor shows what the laptop screen should normally also show

in linux:
this can be also seen when changing from the xwindow mode in linux back to tty(1-6)

I will try it with the Toshiba graphics driver, at the moment I use the newest Omega driver
I use 1280x800 as normal resolution
programs giving this error:
world of warcraft (1024x768) -> working with 1280x800
age of empires 2 (800x600)
as I said before, I get this problem also using Suse Linux when I switch from KDE to tty

UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION runtime errors when changing the PO

Hi everyone,
We are facing the problem which is when changing the PO short dump UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION is occurred then it will display "The page cannot be displayed"
I don't know what is the exactly that cause of this problem
Anyone who facing the same problem before, pls help on this. Hope anyone can help us on this.

I found that only this PO cannot be change. Others are ok. There is an error in ST22 which is as below:
Runtime Errors         UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION
Except.                CX_BBP_PD_ABORT
Error analysis
    An exception occurred. This exception is dealt with in more detail below
    . The exception, which is assinged to the class 'CX_BBP_PD_ABORT', was not
     caught,
    which led to a runtime error.
    The reason for this exception is:

After further search of error there is also message that relates to this error:
Buffer table not up to date
Message no. BBP_PD001
Diagnosis
In FORM CHANGE_VERSION_MAP_ORG (function group SAPLBBP_PDCV) an inconsistent status was discovered.
Procedure
Start the transaction again. If the error occurs again, create an OSS message.
To analyze the error, you can set a breakpoint in the function module 'BBP_PD_ABORT' and look at the call-up hierarchy in debugging mode.
I wondering what is the problem. Since it occurs not for all PO but certain PO only.
Please help.

Error when changing the length of IO

Hi Experts,
I have changed the length of one of my Info-Object from NUMC-2 to NUMC-3. While trying to activate it it is giving the error "Structure Change at field Level(change Table)".
But When i changed the length of one more IO before from Char-1 to Char-3, it successfully got activated.
Please help me out.

Debug error when changing blending modes

Hi there,
I get a Debug Error every time I use 2 Adjustment Layers one above each other, with the following effects applied:
Adjustment Layer Above:
- Tint, not keyframed
- Opacity Blending Mode: Color Dodge
Adjustment Layer Below:
- Venetian Blinds, not keyframed
- Offset, keyframed
- Turbulent Displace, keyframed
- Opacity Blending Mode: Normal
Media layer below:
- JPG, Canon 60D - 5184x3456 - no effects applied
The error I get (option to 'Continue', but the program doesn't respond and needs to be closed):

I first started to get this error, while working with various media files in 1440x1080/HDV 1080i mode (Sony Z7U native)/29.97fps/1.33 sequence. Trying to understand what it goes wrong, I created a new project and recreated the adjustment layers (AL) with same effects applied - the only thing changed was the JPG added as media under both ALs. Same debug errors every time the blending is changed from normal to any other blending mode. With normal blending on the AL above, everything is fine.
After further testing, it looks like even with only one AL (no effects) above the JPG, get the same debug error when blending is changed from normal to any other mode.
Important note: Same layer+effect configuration applied in 1920x1080/ARRI Cinema mode/24fps/1.0 sequence - it works with no debug error. Haven't tried any other editing modes yet.
Layers, in order from top:
- AL (Venetian Blinds, Tint, Offset, Turbulent Displace - Color Dodge blending)
- AL (Venetian Blinds, Tint, Offset, Turbulent Displace - Normal blending)
- AL (Timecode effect)
- Title
- media, MPEG (1440x1080, 29.97 frame rate, 1.3333 pixel aspect ratio)
- After Effects composition (dynamic link) 1920x1080 - content: media file, MPEG (640x480, 30fps, 1.0 + various titles and effects, including color dodge blending
I googled for similar error reports, there are none related to Premiere Pro.
I don't know what else to do, rather than just avoid using this effect configuration.
Does anyone else had this issue, even in different situations?

I've never seen that error myself. If you have a way to avoid it, might be best to just do that.

ACS SE: Error when changing IP setting

I got this error when trying to change the IP address setting:
Error: Failed to get NIC configuration: (null) (FFFFFFFF)
My ACS SE is now not functioning because of this. Is there any way to recover besides using the Recovery CD ?

Error when changing OID instance SSL port to 636

I have OID 11.1.1.6 instance running on port 3065 for it's SSL port. I wanted to change the SSL port to 636 from the em console. When I request to change it, it says it was successful...restart the OID server. Once the OID instance is restarted and comes back up, I get an error "Failed to load server configuration" Check the Internet Directory Server logs. Possible Error: "<hostname>:636>
Do I need to run/restart other services for this change?
I also tried extending the domain and creating a new instance using the staticports.ini. I specified the SSL port in there at 636 and ran the oracleRoot.sh script but get the same error when I look at it in em console.

My iPod Video hangs when changing track

Just now, my iPod Video hung when changing to another track... So I had to reset it (something I don't want to do). Does anyone have the same problem?
By the way, I didn't charge my iPod till it says it's full. How much would it affect the battery capacity? (It only last for about 5 to 6 hours...)

mine does this too
and occasionally it hangs (pauses) when changing screens
also when i click for the album art in full screen it often takes about 5secs+ for it to register

Odd error when syncing

HI,
my iTouch is acting rather oddly.
When syncing, iTunes takes an age to recognise the iPod, and when it does, it syncs and then stops with an error:
'iTunes could not sync calendars to the iPod "iPod" because an error occurred while pushing data from the iPod'
When does this message actually mean, and how can I stop it from happening? I've tried restoring and resetting the iPod. I've reinstalled iTunes. Nothing makes a difference.

Try resetting the sync history. Launch Applications > iSync, select iSync menu > Preferences and click the Reset Sync History button.

Milestone Error when changing the status of service request.

Hi Expert.
I got an issue where service request is displayed with an error "Item 10: Start and end dates must be identical for a milestone date".
I took around 200 service requests and observed that in the change history, the response profile of the contract was changed. We also observed that whenever service request contain these errors, automatic change of status is not happening.
Unfortunately I'm not able to reproduce this error in Quality system.
Kindly advice on how these errors can be resolved and how these can be reproduced.

You can ave a runitme event or workflow triggered that can generate such behavior.
First increase logging on your object manager (evtloglvl :) ) and look at any error message.
Second assess with your development team what automation has been setup ranging from script, Business Services, workflow to assist you in troubleshooting.
