Odd iPhone Calendar Behavior With CSV Calendar Dates After 3.1

In April I downloaded the Chicago Cubs schedule as a CSV file and imported it into Outlook. The dates synced to my (and my wife's) 3G phones via MobileMe and we were good to go. Yesterday I did the same with the Chicago Bears schedule, and just noticed that BOTH the Bears games AND the Cubs games are showing five hour late on our iPhone calendars (i.e., today's 3:15 CDT Bears game shows an 8:15 p.m. CDT start time on our phones). This appears to have happened after upgrading to 3.1. The times are correct in Outlook, and they are also correct on the calendar at mobileme.com.
FWIW, I factory reset my phone this week and started over (did not restore the backup) in a failed attempt to correct the numerous 3.1 issues. I also verified that both phones have the correct timezone settings in BOTH locations in settings, and also confirmed the time zone settings in my PC and at mobileme.com. I also tried setting a normal (not imported from a CSV file) appointment in Outlook to test this problem, and both phones report the correct start time.

I'm seeing the same instability with the calendar app. I first noticed all my mobile me calendars were gone so I backed up my iCal on my desktop and then synced the desktop with mobile me which took a few tries. This restored my iPhone calendar but it's been buggy ever since. I'm going to try a restore and if that doesn't help I'll go back to syncing through iTunes. I've also noticed some lag and crashes with other apps (apple & third party) since the 3.1 upgrade.

I think i trashed my iPhone calendar data, and not sure how to get it back.
iphone 4, 5.1.x, using Apple Calendar app on iphone, iCloud backup.
i use gmail as my primary/main email app , but apple calendar. All was fine UNTIL...
i wanted to sync my calendar to GOOGLE calendar so i could see it online on the web/google....
i went to systems settings, edited my entry for google, turned ON the blue switch for calendar.
then it synced and since my google CAL was empty , it appears that it WIPED out my calendar data on my iphone, and since my iphone is syncing with iCloud, it appears that it synced an empty calendar with the cloud.. so now i have NO data in my calander on google, none on iphone, and none in icloud.
i dont have a TimeMachine backup, and i dont have a backup on my macboook as i primarily use over the air syncing, and thought icloud WAS the backup.
how do i get my data back?
am i correct in thinking this is what trashed it?
anyone able to assist?

Go to MobileMe Support and select the appropriate country/language, choose "Syncing with MobileMe," select "Troubleshooting MobileMe Sync issues," and then select "Chat Now."

Why using a different separator would change the payload ?
It will be a good thing for me if I could use the pipe separator.

Can you give the steps you're using to get this error? I'm not seeing any problem here.
1) Create a new audio project (44.1 KHz).
2) Arm the record head in track 1 by pressing the "R" button in that track. Verify audio levels.
3) Record by pressing the record button in the audio controls.
4) Stop recording by pressing the stop button.
5) Play back the resulting audio. Sounds fine.
6) Select File > Export.
7) Change the file format to WAVE file. Change the bit depth to 16 bit, change the sample rate to 44.1 KHz.
8) Type the name SAVETEST.wav and click on the Export button.
9) Play back the resulting WAV file in QuickTime Player, Apple Loops Utility, etc. and it seems just fine.
What am I missing that you're doing?

iDevices do not sync with a date... they sync with the computer.
If the user has restored the device using an older backup, simply restore it with a more current backup.

IPhone Calendar data nit synching with MobileMe

Since installing Snow Leopard my iPhone Calendar is not syncing with MobileMe. Contacts, bookmarks, and email all synch fine but not my calendar entries. This means the data is missing on my MPB and Power G5. Anyone else experienced this? Any solutions or do we have to wait for Apple to do something?

I found no settings on the iPhone which could make this happen.
Did you sign in to www.icloud.com and check if you have accidently activated Rules (or Forwarding)?

Lost Calendar data after update and hotsync

Okay, I hope someone can help with this. I updated my Treo 650 at the Palm site tonight. And I'm gonna try to recall the exact order in which I did everything so that this is clear. (Also know that I Hotsync every night, without fail.) You should know that I work on a PC using Windows XP. After I downloaded the update and opened it, it instructed me to Hotsync. I did. The stuff in the update took a while, but it finally worked. There were a couple problems with this Hotsync though. First I got an error message that all of my original applications could not be re-uploaded because some of them were not Palm compatible. (Or some such.) Fine. I'd just go to wherever the file was and see if I could live without whatever was not uploaded. (I still haven't found the file, and I don't know HOW to find it.) Then I got a Hotsync error message that stuff had to be deleted so that the Hotsync of the updated software could be successful. No problem. I deleted some photos and Voila, it worked. New software installed. I first went to my Apps page on the Palm to see if the important Apps were still there. And they seemed to be. Then I noticed the calendar, which was showing TODAY'S date, and that looked fine too. Now this is where I get confused. SOMETHING moved me to Hotsync AGAIN. Not sure why I felt I had to, but I did. When THAT Hotsync was finished, my calendar was wiped clean. Now this is where I may have shot myself in the foot. (I read another post that seemed similar to mine and the person was told that it was fortunate that she did NOT Hotsync AFTER data disappeared. Then he went on to show the person how to reclaim her data, and his explanation went WAY "over my head".) So I Hotsynced again to see if any magic would get my calendar, and the 7-8 years of dates and info from my M103 days, back onto my Treo. It did not. My Treo has no calendar dates whatsoever. What's strange is that the address book is totally intact. Can someone talk me through a way, if there is one, to get my calendar dates and data back? And a way to back up all of this precious information should I ever get it back. And if you offer me directions, give them to me as if you were directing a really SLOW child.

Try doing a global search of your system.
Right click Local disk (C) then select search and type in datebook.bak under "All or part of the file name" entry and hit on search. If their are some items found just look for the biggest file size of the datebook.bak and copy it then paste it to the desktop then do the import process again but it's gonna be on the desktop location that you are importing the file from.
1st Open Palm Desktop Software then open your emptied calendar.
2nd Click File then Import.
3rd Locate the datebook.bak that you pasted on the desktop - once you're on the desktop you just type in the asterisk symbol * then press enter on your keyboard to show those hidden files then you shoudl be seeing a datebook.bak and some other icons and files on your desktop. I recon to just double click on the datebook.bak folder then that should import all your calendar data if it contains anything and if not then i gues this will be the last resort.
You don't need to worry about the message that says something like "Not all imported datebook will be viewed on the current view because the default view is unfiled and if you do have some categorized data on the calendar.
This will be the last resort.

As you can see, the iPhone seems to get several DHCP addresses in a very short time and go to a self-assigned number in between. Does anyone know of a reason for this behavior? It knows about the network (which is using WPA) and the network limits access to known MAC addresses (this one is allowed).
This seems to cause problems with internal routing on the network (not sure what that might be). The DHCP server is a SonicWall firewall.

Yes, I've noticed this; it seems to initially broadcast, then switch over the previously assigned address. You wouldn't happen to be using WDS would you?
The only thing I've been able to figure out is that if it sees both wireless access points it seems to ARP on both, select the one with the stronger strength, and then attach to it.
You can backtrack on this by assigning a DHCP client ID and watching your logs. You'll notice it only supplies the Client ID to the station with the strongest signal strength. This seems to be a real problem if you have two in range and one is "borderline" and flutters in and out of range.
To workaround, assuming you are using WDS and have a central DHCP server, you can reserve an IP for the phone -- so even when the fluttering is happening it will always get the same IP for the MAC address.

IPhone calendar problems after syncing

I know I must have done something wrong - I finally synced my iPhone to my iCal on my MacBook and now I can't go back into my iPhone calendar and delete or edit any existing appointments on my iPhone. What gives? Is there a quick fix to this? I am new to this whole experience so be easy on me...

After reading a few others post on the same subject, what worked for them was rebooting your PC or Mac, doing a RESET on your iPhone and try again. You may wish to add a new note to both the computer and iPhone before syncing and see if that helps.

Lost calendar data after update and sync please help!!!

Last night I updated iphone via itunes with latest upgrade....and during or after which information an on my calender has been removed...it only has reaccuring events....all other events are GONE!!
Outlook is not set up on this computer as it is a work laptop and I didn't want to set up with home emails.
I have read a few discussions and looked at the support info on apple, no luck...
I have tried reseting sync history but that didn't recover the info.
I NEED HELP PLEASE!! in the very basic of forms...
Will i need to set up outlook?? Is that where all my info is???

In iTunes your iPhone shows up in the left column. Right click your iPhone and chose "restore from backup". This will put your phone back to when you plugged it in to update.

How to over-write iCal data with iPhone calendar data?

As of tonight, my iPhone 4's calendar will not merge to my iMac. The Mac with push to the phone, but not the other way around. I know for a fact that the "correct" calendar is the one on the iPhone (lucky this week I know that!), so I'd like a way to over-write the computer version with the iPhone.
So, problems to solve:
(1) Tell me how to reset the sync history in the newest version of iTunes
OR
(2) Tell me how to over-write data as described above (and pray it works the next time bi-directionally)
OR
(3) Point me to a fix for the original non-sync problem that I haven't discovered yet.
Your help is GREATLY appreciated as I've spent WAY more time on this than intended already. 1 minute sync --> 4 hour issue.

Turn iPhone and computer off and on and try again.
Ensure date and time on iPhone and computer are the same and try again.
