  • How to populate the webservice XML data in to Table  ODI- Webserice invoke

    Hi,
    I have multiple work orders in my oracle db table, That means multiple WorkOrder_Item_ID's are there in my source table. When I start transfer the data from source to Target using ODI , I need to get the information of multiple Work order Item_IDs from the Webservice response data ( XML data) of another system by calling ODI Webservice Invoke in ODI and insert the same Webservice XML response data in my source table in the corresponding Item_ID's.
    My First question : How can I take the data from Webservice XML and put in to correspoding Item relevent data in to Source Table
    Second question: How can I send the multiple work order item ID at the same time to the Webservice and insert the relevant item data in to Source table using ODI.
    Finally this combined soure table data should be moved to Target table in ODI.. That I know.. How to do it.
    Can any one please give answers for the above said two questions.
    Thanks,
    Rajesh

    I find some words in the implementation guide, it says:"To collect data from your non-Oracle ERP systems or your trading partners' systems,you model each non-Oracle ERP system or trading partner as an Oracle Applications organization and store their setup and transaction data there".
    But I can't find where to model the application organization for the legacy system.
    anyone can give some clues? Thanks in advance.

  • Problem while invoking webservice-method in client-code

    Hi,
    I had written webservice-client-code (using uddi-ext.jar, as i am using uddi for publishing webservices.) which is invoking webservice method successfully with complex datatypes(both for return type and input paramters).
    But while calling following webservice-method from my client-code:
    public ComplexType[] getData(String[] p_str1, String[] p_str2)
    it is throwing exception
    The Exception is:
    [ERROR] - 27 Mar 2007 12:34:38 -failed to invoke operation 'getData' due to an error in the soap layer (SAAJ); nested exception is: Message[failed to deserialize xml:weblogic.xml.schema.binding.DeserializationException: mapping lookup failure. type=['java:language_builtins.lang']:ArrayOfString schema context=TypedSchemaContext{javaType=[Ljava.lang.String;}]
    Although I had done correct registration of mapping of ArrayOfString in client-code:
    registry = m_Service.getTypeMappingRegistry();
                   m_TypeMapping = registry.getTypeMapping(SOAPConstants.URI_NS_SOAP_ENCODING );
                   m_TypeMapping.register( ArrayOfStringHolder.class,
    new QName( "java:language_builtins.lang", "ArrayOfString" ),
    new ArrayOfStringCodec(),
    new ArrayOfStringCodec());
    But some how it doesnt works.
    I had searched on google as well but didnt find any reliable solutions.
    Please advice.

    Yes ofcourse I choose a method. I am suspecting if we need any patches for OAS to get this thing fix. We are running OAS 10.3 and Axis2 1.3. Did any one use this combination and got this issue before??

    Hello,
    There is not enough information in your post to determine an exact
    cause. When you say the web services are working fine, do you mean from
    the home/test page? What version of WLS? Is this with a static or
    dynamic client. I'm a bit concerned about what seem to be stubs showing
    up on the traceback that would indicate another SOAP stack (com.hp.ws)
    could you tell us a bit more about your configuration.
    Thanks,
    Bruce

    Problems invoke Web Service

  • Modify service endpoint in webservices.xml throws class not found for link

    Hello, we had a problem for serveral days and have not found any solutions googling. We read the documentation and seems ok, so we are a little desesperate.
    We have a WebService project in Oracle Eclipse included in Weblogic 10.3.5 with the following classes:
    - An EJB (org.test.TestWSImpl) with the @WebService annotation:
    @WebService(serviceName = "TestService", portName = "testService", targetNamespace = "testNameSpace",
    endpointInterface = "test.TestWS", wsdlLocation = "/wsdls/test.wsdl")
    - When deploying the ear all runs ok. Now, for serveral business reasons, we need to change the defalut service URI so we added a webservices.xml and weblogic-webservices.xml.
    The webservices.xml:
    <?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?>
    <webservices xmlns="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee"
         xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" version="1.2">
         <webservice-description>
              <webservice-description-name>TestService</webservice-description-name>
              <port-component>
                   <port-component-name>testService</port-component-name>
                   <wsdl-port xmlns:tns="testNameSpace">tns:testDataService</wsdl-port>
                   <service-endpoint-interface>test.TestWS</service-endpoint-interface>
                   <service-impl-bean>
                        <ejb-link>TestWSImpl</ejb-link>
                   </service-impl-bean>
              </port-component>
         </webservice-description>
    </webservices>
    In the weblogic-webservices.xml we define the new endpoint:
    <?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?>
    <weblogic-webservices
    xmlns="http://xmlns.oracle.com/weblogic/weblogic-webservices"
    xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
    xsi:schemaLocation="http://xmlns.oracle.com/weblogic/weblogic-webservices http://xmlns.oracle.com/weblogic/weblogic-webservices/1.1/weblogic-webservices.xsd">
    <webservice-description>
    <webservice-description-name>IE3SEnvironmentalMasterDataService</webservice-description-name>
    <webservice-type>JAXWS</webservice-type>
    <port-component>
    <port-component-name>e3sEnvironmentalMasterDataService</port-component-name>
    <service-endpoint-address>
    <webservice-contextpath>/E3S</webservice-contextpath>
    <webservice-serviceuri>/e3sEnvironmentalMasterDataService</webservice-serviceuri>
    </service-endpoint-address>
    </port-component>
    </webservice-description>
    We apreciate any help
    Thanks in advance!

    Sorry for the copy; a browser error. Please delete this thread

    We have found a solution removing the eclipse webservice project and adding the EJB inside the EJB project module.

  • Getting information about configured(webservices.xml) web service handlers

    Hi Guys, The situation is: In a Web Service, I have few GenericHandlers configured as server(Role) in webservices.xml(for IBM Runtime) & server-config.wsdd(Axis Runtime). Say the handlers are A, B & C. Now, when there is a inbound call A,B & C are getting invoked as expected.
    I am basically lookin for a way to know (programmatically) the # of handler configured for this web service i.e., 3 in this case and few other handler specific details.
    I was investigating getting hold hold of HandlerChain by following way
    HandlerRegistry hndlReg = service.getHandlerRegistry(); List hChain = hndlReg.getHandlerChain(new QName("http://test.com","PortName"));
    , but I dont get hChain containing information about A,B or C. Ya, here I can add Handlers programmetically which gets invoked also. But no information of already configured handlers in configuration files.
    Is there any way(programmetically) to get the details about already configured handlers.
    Appreciating your help.

    Please help ....

    I've encounter something similar to you're problem and it was resolved by manually creating the object using the web service constructor and inputting user credentials. If you manually instantiate your web service wrapper object and set a a security profile token, it may solve your problem. You can also pass in the web service endPoint URL, if you want.
    Fuego.WebServices.UsernameTokenProfileSecurityPolicy
    I'm not sure how to use UsernameTokenProfileSecurityPolicy, but try something like this:
    Fuego.WebServices.UsernameTokenProfileSecurityPolicy policy = UsernameTokenProfileSecurityPolicy();
    policy.username ="mark";
    policy.password = "password";
    tws = YourWebService();
    response = tws.callWebServiceMethod();
    I realize the security profile isn't tied anywhere to the web service, but try it anyway.
    There is also some fields on the webservice, tws.setRequestHeader() that may allow you to set the username and password on the request, but this doesn't make sense to me. It shouldn't be that hard.

  • Issues invoking webservice hosted on Aqualogic Proxy service.

    Hi,
    This is my first "Hello world..." forum experience.
    I'm facing problems while invoking webservice hosted on Aqualogic Proxy Service in my local machine;
    I'm using Weblogic 10 (Oracle Service Bus 10gR3 ).
    1) I've used weblogic's "weblogic.wsee.tools.anttasks.ClientGenTask" to generate java code from wsdl file
    2) Created a stand-alone client
    code fragment :
    try{
    ServiceActivationNoticationService notificationService = new ServiceActivationNoticationService_Impl("http://localhost:7001/ServiceActivationInterface/FroxyServices/ServiceNotification".concat("?WSDL"));
    ServiceActivationNoticationPortType notificationServicePortType = notificationService.getServiceNotification();
    Empty response = ((ServiceActivationNoticationPortType_Stub)notificationServicePortType).serviceNotification(notification);
    catch(){
    System.err.println(ex.toString());
    logger.debug("Service Notification Exception...", ex);
    throw new Exception("Service Notification Exception...", ex);
    Comiling successfully but when I run I'm getting the follwing exceptions:

    But If I create a soap message manully and invoke the same webservice, it works fine.
    Please reply soon....
    Thanks in Advance.

    Hi James,
    Thanks for your reply, and directing me to appropriate threads.
    The problem is with one of wsdl element.
    My requirement is an empty element:
    so I've created
    <element name="empty">
    <xsd:complexType>
    <xsd:sequence/>
    </xsd:complexType>
    </element>
    when I use this element for output type as below...
    <wsdl:input message="service" type="xxx:service"/>
    <wsdl:output message="emptyResponse" type="xxx:empty"/>
    weblogic clientgen code is able invoke service successfully but the response is causing problem.
    But when I changed empty element to
    <element name="empty">
    <xsd:complexType>
    <xsd:sequence>
    <xsd:element name="abcd" type="xsd:string" minOccurs="0"/> I'll not use this at all.
    </xsd:sequence>
    </xsd:complexType>
    </element>
    Everything is working fine now in this case. ************************************************************************
    But I'm not sure what's wrong with
    <element name="empty">
    <xsd:complexType>
    <xsd:sequence/>
    </xsd:complexType>
    </element> because specifications says this is the way to define an empty element type.
    What's wrong with this....
    Thanks.... to Hello world! Response....

    If I remove the namespace indicator 'j2ee' it complains about the same. So it would seem that weblogic ignores the 'j2ee' resulting indeed in a invalid xml.
    Can someone please help me to a weblogic-webservices.xml (example with login-config) that was accepted by weblogic?
    Thanks a lot,
    Eltjo.

    Hi,
    Please try the following: ( Looks like you are mixing the Tag contents of web.xml  as well as weblogic-webservice.xml   together.... )
    weblogic-webservice.xml
    <?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?>
    <weblogic-webservices xmlns="http://www.bea.com/ns/weblogic/weblogic-webservices" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:schemaLocation="http://www.bea.com/ns/weblogic/weblogic-webservices http://www.bea.com/ns/weblogic/weblogic-webservices/1.0/weblogic-webservices.xsd">
          <webservice-description>
              <webservice-description-name>AppManager</webservice-description-name>
              <port-component>
              <port-component-name>AppManager</port-component-name>
                     <service-endpoint-address>
                        <webservice-contextpath>/AppManagerService</webservice-contextpath>
                        <webservice-serviceuri>/AppManager</webservice-serviceuri>
                     </service-endpoint-address>
              </port-component>
          </webservice-description>
    </weblogic-webservices>And Now provide the <login-config> information separately inside *"web.xml"* file
    <login-config>
         <auth-method>BASIC</j2ee:auth-method>
         <realm-name>myrealm</j2ee:realm-name>
    </login-config>.
    Thanks
