ODI SNP_EXP_TXT table empty
Hello,
I am using ODI 11.1.1.6.3_GENERIC_120508.0956, with Oracle DB, Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.3.0.
I am trying to get the error messages in my database, and from what I read from documentation and the Web, the best way is to use metadata ODI SNP tables.
Specifically, to get the error message, the SNP_EXP_TXT table.
Now, I am running my package from the Production environment, and when it finishes, the SNP_EXP_TXT table is empty.
However, the SNP_SESSION, SNP_STEP_LOG, SNP_SESS_TASK and others similar are all full.
Also, I noticed that all tables containing TXT in the name are empty, besides SNP_EXP_TXT_HEADER.
Does anyone have any idea why the SNP_EXP_TXT table is empty? Is there any good documentation on these tables I can find answer in?
Thanks!
I have overcome this issue by using the SNP_STEP_LOG table, which has the error message in the ERROR MESSAGE (CLOB) column, by using a dbms substring function.
But I would still like to know why the SNP_EXP_TXT is not populated.
If anyone has any insight, it would be much appreciated.

hii
I have done some reverse engineering ,in the work/master repository "SNP_REV_FOR_TABLE" contains the list of tables reverse engineered.What does "IND_REV" column in that table mean??
My all other "SNP_REV%" tables are empty.
What information gets populated into them
Is there any document ,which gives information on SNP tables,as to what gets stored in them??Hello,
I think this is not possible since this temporary interface can be the source of several interface, so it can't be dropped : http://askankit.blogspot.com/2011/04/when-temporary-is-not-temporary.html
But you can call a procedure at the end of your package execution to drop all temporary tables.
Alternatively, you can use temporary interfaces as Derived table (sub-select). See second part of this article : http://www.rittmanmead.com/2011/06/odi-11g-new-mapping-and-interface-features-part-1 .
Regards -
I'm trying to match a temporary table (source) with a xml file (target) and i got the following message :
Caused By: java.sql.SQLException: Try to insert null into a non-nullable column: column: E1FIKPFPK table: TMP_E1FIKPF in statement [insert into TMP_E1FIKPF (BUKRS) select C1_BUKRS from TMP_C$_0E1FIKPF where (1=1)]
at com.sunopsis.jdbc.driver.xml.SnpsXmlPreparedStatementRedirector.executeUpdate(SnpsXmlPreparedStatementRedirector.java:629)
The previous step (create table & loading src) are good, but apparently my work table is empty.. however when i'm executing my sql request by myself, i'm getting all my data..
I just can't understand why.Actually the burks column need to have content... That's why in the mapping i'm doing a match with a tempory work table and the column burks. And in the temporary work table there is data !
I'm suppose that ODI create a c$ table to transfert data from my tempory table T to the xml branch E1FIKPFPK but apparently it cant' recover the data from the c$ table.
that's why I'm getting the error "null into a non-nullable column"

[BUG?] af:table table empty after descending sort and remove
Hi,
I think i found a bug.
I have an af:table binded to an arraylist in a backingbean. This List consist of an object that represents two strings (value 1 and 2).
Now when the table is loaded and I sort descending on one of the columns. After sorting i'll try to remove a row. The correct row is published to the bean with an af:setPropertyListener and removed from the arraylist. But when the table is rendered again there are no values in the table. But the arraylist still has all remaining values which will be shown after a sort again.
Fun fact: it only happens when sorting descending.
Anyone got an idea?

audit-core oracle.ide.audit.core 11Hi Harry (and others),
I have seen similar behavior. It seems like the client side rendering for some reason has a hard time processing the collection model wrapping the ArrayList in this particular case. The table renders empty. After sorting in ascending order, the rows are all back (visible) again.
Is anyone aware of issues with the rich table based directly on ArrayList (in combination with a changing set of values and/or sorting)? (seems like a corner case but is still not uncommon). Is there any indication that wrapping the ArrayList in a CollectionModel ourselves might be required?
Harry: do you know whether this issue is introduced with PS3 (11.1.1.4) or already existed in previous releases?
kind regards,
Lucas -
Hi all,
I need to know following things
1) I have created open few tools and if business validation fails it throws OpenToolExecutionException with some error code now I want to check in which SNP_ table it goes and how cud I track my error info.
2)
In other way where these error messages are stored when any scenario execution fails.
snp_sess_task_log and SNP_STEP_LOG and SNP_SESS_STEP all are having
one entry I_TXT_TASK_MESS in which table these messages are present
3)
Please let me know the names of scenario execution error tracking tables so that I can used them for notification purpose when any scenario fails.
3)
I want to know how operator showing this error code as I have inserted

Is it possible to use the same in OpenTool as I am invoking these steps one by one using invocation API.
So in that case I wrote a java class as a controller and few Open Tool .
* Condition is like we are executing steps one by one from that controller class .
if the previous step caused exception then I use to stop all the other steps those are the successor of the same.
* Open tool may throw some OpenToolExecutionException which depends on some businees validation and also some common java exception .
how to use this API odiRef.getPrevStepLog() in my java code and where.
could you please send me code for that one

Why is draw table empty after i import from memory id 'SAP_APPLICATION' ?
Hello,
I have the following
data draw like draw.
data intdraz like draz occurs 0 with header line.
import draw
intdraz
from memory id 'SAP_APPICATION'
at this point draw table is empty and does not contain the information of the selected file, so basically
draw-DOKAR
draw-DOKNR
draw-DOKTL
draw-DOKVR
are all empty.
does anyone know why this is happening ?
thank youHi Rushikesh,
Dynamic table i have created with same structure as of internal table which is getting exported....
thats why i m surprised how come structure mismatch.....i have checked in debugger, structure is same.....for both the tables,
Can you/anyone give any example of Exporting internal table to MEMORY ID and getting it back (IMPORT) into dynamic internal table of same structure...

How important spacer.gif within table empty cell?
I've always used a spacer image (or ) within an empty cell over the years to keep consistency between browsers, and that it was recommended. Has anyone seen any stats on this in recent times? I'm curious which recent versions of browsers still have problems with this and if it's still that important to do so.
One reason I ask is I'm needing several 1px height black table cells and it'd be nice if I didn't have to keep putting a 1x1 spacer within each empty cell. With my tests, I've check with several most recent browsers and they all render an empty black 1px height cell the same.
Thanks.I don't know what kind of look your going for, but i wonder if you could achieve the same effect by using CSS to put a 1 pixel black border on something.
I've found that with IE6 something needs to be in a cell for it to be affected by css. For example, if i use css to place a black border around all table cells IE6 won't apply the border to empty cells. Instead of putting a spacer image in the cell i use a non-blanking space ";nbsp". -
Why is the Table empty.. :|
Hello All,
I learnt that in our Portal database, there is a table named "<b>WCR_WEBCNODESTAT</b>" which contains all data related to user interaction with EP...meaning one can retrieve data like 'currently logged users' with its details, etc.
But when I navigated to this table, it was empty.
How is this possible? If yes, please explain the reason?
Awaiting Reply.
Thanks and Warm Regards,

RW_SERVER_JOB_QUEUE table empty after running the report in 11g
Hello,
I set up Job StatusRepository in our environment ( Fusion Middleware 11.1.1.4 Win 2008 x32) as explained in Oracle Support note "How to Setup jobStatusRepository Feature in Reports 11g? [ID 858200.1]"
The table RW_SERVER_JOB_QUEUE is always empty after running the report.
I have checked another note "RW_SERVER_JOB_QUEUE table is empty [ID 1200613.1]" but the user who is running the report is the same as the user who " the user name where you run $ORACLE_HOME\reports\admin\sql\rw_server.sql script" so there is no grant problem to write to this table.
Here is the excerpt of rwserver.conf file:
<demo:jobStatusRepository class="oracle.reports.server.JobRepositoryDB">
<demo:property value="csf:reports:repo" name="dbpassword"/>
<demo:property value="blvdev" name="dbconn"/>
<demo:property value="pdmain" name="dbuser"/>
</demo:jobStatusRepository>
I n log file there is an error:
Apr 11, 2012 10:29:13 AM oracle.security.jps.internal.credstore.ssp.CsfWalletManager openWallet
WARNING: Opening of wallet based credential store failed. Reason java.io.IOException: PKI-02002: Unable to open the wallet. Check password.
Have anybody had the same issue in 11g?
Thanks,
AlexHere is the solution I found and I would like to share if anybody is interested :
Check the following Oracle Support Notes:
ALERT - After Applying Patchset 11.1.1.4, Fusion Middleware Control Inserts "demo:" Tags in Conf Files of Reports Server- ENVID Section Stops Working [ID 1298701.1]
After applying patchset 11.1.1.4 to Reports Server, any configuration changes through Fusion Middleware Control inserts "demo:" tags in the beginning of each line in conf file of Report Server.
The behaviour is described in the following bug :
Bug:11784251 MBEAN BROWSER ADDS A DEMO TAG IN RWSERVER.CONF AT EACH LINE
So you I removed all demo tags in rwserver.conf
<jobStatusRepository class="oracle.reports.server.JobRepositoryDB">
<property value="csf:reports:jobrepo" name="dbpassword"/>
<property value="repteam.us.oracle.com" name="dbconn"/>
<property value="jobrep11g" name="dbuser"/>
</jobStatusRepository>
Regarding : PKI-02002 error:
Error PKI-02002: Unable to open the wallet. Check password When Starting a Reports Server [ID 1316651.1]
Temporary file cannot be created in temporary directory.
After checking the wallet I simply changed the following lines
<variable id="TEMP" value="C:\Users\oracle\AppData\Local\Temp\2"/>
<variable id="TMP" value="C:\Users\oracle\AppData\Local\Temp\2"/>
to
<variable id="TEMP" value="C:\TEMP"/>
<variable id="TMP" value="C:\TEMP"/>
because the folder C:\Users\oracle\AppData\Local\Temp\2 was not created.

Customer exit : i_vnam table empty
Hi,
I have a specific requirement where I need a customer exit variable to be processed twice (once in i_step = 1 and the second time in i_step = 2 ).
The problem I am facing is that after the i_step = 1 is processed for both my customer exit variables, it never reaches i_step = 2 , but only i_step = 3.
So I have changed my coding so the second step is processed at i_step = 3. The problem here is that the i_vnam table seems to be empty when i_step = 3 is reached, so it never executes the code below my WHEN statements for i_step = 3.
The code is :
when 'ZCEM_MARG1'.
IF i_step = 1.
l_range-sign = 'I'.
l_range-opt = 'EQ'.
l_range-low = '0000000075'.
append l_range to e_t_range.
ELSEIF i_step = 3.
IF l_range-low CO '1234567890'.
ZCL_IM_VC_RAGSTA=>zvar_marg1 = l_range-low.
ELSE.
MESSAGE I010(ZB).
ENDIF.
ENDIF.Hi ,
The code after i_step = 3 needs to be processed after input in the selection screen, so I cannot remove this statement.
i_step = 1 assigns default values to the variables.
Is it feasible to process the same variables in two steps ? Or should I do it with two variables ?

I have assigned an employee to the org unit and performed a download of all the org units using "CRMD_DOWNLOAD_OM" but the
SMOMITAREA table is empty. There are entries in SMOMITABT.Did you try the CRM_ORGMAN_DOWNLOAD for integration? The SMOMITABT and SMOMITAREA table are filled together by the report.

hi,
is it compulsory to have a primary key constraint in the target table in odi.
Can we have a target table without any primary key constraint?Hi,
Yes u can have target table without PK.
Only for IKM Incremental Update u need to define Update key (which may not be persist in back end). For IKM Control append u no need to have PK defined.

Troubleshooting with IOS BGP and IOS XR BGP - routing table Empty
Hi
actually we tried to make a neigborhood between ASR9000 and Cisco 7600, we have the neigborhood active but on routing tables from ASR only have the networks locals or connected doesn´t learn anything from BGP 7600
the diagram is this:
When try to know the routes on ASR9000 from Cisco 7609 happen the follow
the neighbor is UP from Cisco 7600 and ASR 9000 but the routing table is empty.
the config on cisco 7600 is:
router bgp 2006
neighbor 172.16.14.6 remote-as 64512
address-family ipv4
neighbor 172.16.14.6 activate
the config on cisco ASR9000 is:
router bgp 64512
bgp router-id 172.16.161.1
address-family ipv4 unicast
neighbor 172.16.14.5
remote-as 2006
address-family ipv4 unicast
Help us
Best RegardsAnother important one is the fact that in XR you need to have RPL policies (even if they only have a "pass-all" functionality) to accept inbound/outbound routes in eBGP.
Check the article on the asr9000 unequal cost multipath that has some sample BGP outputs and show command verifications that may help also.
If not the case, get us the XR config from the A9K side.
Also what does the bgp table on teh IOS side look like? as Richard suggests, there doesnt seem to be anything injected by the 7600 itself.
