Please tell me how come we know that ODS should be created before we load into the cube?
I mean how can we conclude or decide or who will tell us to create ODS?
Are there any specific terms or conditions in which we need to create ODS?

Yes, you need the latest version of Flash to work with Mavericks and Safari 7.x. I'm not sure why you can't view some of the videos on YouTube but not all and I don't know which, YouTube or Safari, is suggesting a 10.xxxx version.

I am purchasing an iMac G3. I know that it is running on OS 8.6. I have found the old Mac OS X Jaguar (10.2), if I purchase the software, will I need any more requirements?

The market value of those old iMacs is very low now, so I hope that you aren't paying any more than $30 for one. What model are you purchasing - the original with a tray-loading optical drive or the newer style with a slot-loading drive? If the latter, which model (processor speed) is it? You shouldn't buy one manufactured before built-in FireWire became standard, because you'll want a faster bus for external peripherals. The built-in USB ports are limited to USB 1.1 speed, which is quite slow for an external CD/DVD burner or hard drive. Before installing OS X, a tray-loading iMac should have firmware version 1.2 and a slot-loading iMac should have version 4.1.9. Additionally, the iMac should have adequate available storage capacity on the hard drive, as well as adequate installed memory. The OS 10.2.x (Jaguar) installer disk should be a retail (universal installer) disk, and not another Mac's Restore disk. One other point to mention concerns the hours of useage that the iMac has had. High-mileage iMacs often have problems with the P-A-V (Power/Analog/Video) board failing, which renders the computer useless. Replacement is a job for an experienced tech, because of the high-voltage shock hazard involved. Additionally, new P-A-V boards aren't available and used ones have questionable remaining service life. Just keep this in mind.

Help needed to put requirements into uml format

I have got into the bad habit of reading the specification and going
straight into coding without doing any analysis or design, but all thats about to change! i have been reading some uml tutorials, but none seem relevant to the project i have at the moment, could anyone tell me whether i need to do uml use cases etc for it as it seems quite basic.
all i am doing is sending rmi messages between applications using different scenarios, ie across a network, on the same network etc etc, then i just get the system start time and stop time after ive sent 1000 messages and thats my result. uml wise, i obviously need an actor for the enginner running the programme, cant think of any more actors unless im missing something? then i need a use case of the messages being sent. do i need one for each scenario? h

If Use Cases don't make a lot of sense to you, don't feel that you have to use them. There's no point generating meaningless documentation that neither you nor anybody else is ever going to read...
The main point of Use Cases (IMHO) is in requirements elicitation. The diagrams look nice and simple, so you can show them to the client, and make them feel smart.
Actors are entities that are external to the system or sub-system being modelled. So an Actor could be a user, another computer system, or an external event (e.g. a particular date and time). Actors initiate interactions, so anytime you have a particular function (Use Case) that is triggered by an event, you should ask yourself where the trigger comes from.
Don't forget to add extra textual information to Use Case diagrams. I include information such as:
Iteration
Summary
Course of events
Alternative paths
Exception paths
Extension points
Triggers
Assumptions
Preconditions
Postconditions
Any business rules
Author and Date for any modifications to the Use Case
Needless to say, this is a lot of information, almost none of which is conveyed by the diagram itself. You may be better off creating a simple list of functions and filling in the above information for each, or maybe the Use Case diagrams will help you think about what the functions and interactions actually are.

New to System Manager - Advise needed on my requirements

I am very new to System Manager 2012, so I am seeking advise on how to best start my project. I read the initial part of the Getting Started guide ( http://technet.microsoft.com/library/dn235548.aspx ), but System Manager is a big product so I need
to double check the direction I should take, based on my design requirements.
So here is what I am trying to achieve in two bullet points:
- I got my own monitoring system application that I can query via an API. The API is REST based (i.e. HTTP GET/POST operations) and I already wrote a Python script to query my API so I can export data and alerts from it.
- I'd like to integrate the data/alerts coming from my own monitoring application into the Microsoft System center.
Questions:
1) in the first page of the Getting Started guide, I can see I am offered the option to download several evaluation virtual hard disks (e.g. App Controller, Operation Manager, Service Manager, Orchestrator, Virtual Machine Manager). Not sure which one I
should use for what I am trying to achieve?
2) depending on the component picked in point (1), what's the best documentation link to start studying how the Microsoft application works, and how to integrate the data coming from my API?
3) is my Python script fine to run on the Microsoft Virtual Machine, in order to query my API and pass the data to the System Manager 2012?

For monitoring purposes you should look into the Operations Manager product.

I have just received the new disk so can anyone confirm please, are any manual steps required to replace the disk or is it just a straight swap ?

Need solution for Requirements

Hi All,
I am very new to Adobe and need to know if Adobe LiveCycle can solve my problem.
I need to create a PDF based electronic form for entering data in a pre-defined format. Once data is filled, the utility should generate a report in a pre-defined XML format (complying with pre-defined XML schema).
I should also be able to import previously generated report files in the prescribed XML format. On import, the data record should be made available in edit and export mode.
Perform validations on data entered (field level validations).
The designed pdf forms will be available for download from our main web site. A customer who is entering the data may not have internet connection. So, the whole export and import script should run in a disconnected environment.
The ultimate goal of this utility is to generate XML output which is input for another utility.
Can we do this using Adobe LiveCycle. Any suggestions appreciated.

Create a new data connection based on your existing schema. Bind form elements to the data connection. You can now use the form data import and export that are in the Acrobat menus. There are also script methods for doing this if you want to put buttons on the form itself.

The Id I am using has RQADMIN role. I also checked that the ROracle library is installed on the server I am trying to connect to and execute.

a) ORE Server Version: 1.1
b) OS Version: oracle enterprise linux 5.5
c) I am trying to connect to the exadata box from my desktop. I have R 2.13.2 installed.

Let me know if I should check anything with the install of the OREServer. I just got to know from my admin that they had run into a permission issue while installing the supporting packages post which they set the environment variable R_LIBS_USER to a different path and proceeded with the install. Could this be the reason?
