ODS version does not exist?

Hi,
I'm trying to install the standard ODS objects for Objective Setting and Assessments, but when I try to run a simulated install in Business Content, I get an error message stating "Version A of ODS object 0PAH_DS03 does not exist."
I'm not sure what could be causing this. Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Matt Whitcomb

Hi,
From the error message it is clear that active version of 0PAH_DS03 is not available. First Check whether the Version D (SAP delivered version)of particular object is available or not.
If it is available then in collection mode go for the collect automatically option,in grouping indata flow before and aftrwds, then select objects under ODS object locate it and transfer selections.
First install in back ground  then  install( installing is nothing but activation )

  • Error in TLB background job"Version does not exist"

    Hi Gurus,
    We are getting error of "Version does not exist " in TLB background run..The T-lane is between 2 DCs .we have checked everything but unfortunately
    we are not able to detect the root cause for the error.
    Your help will be appreciated.
    Thanks in advance
    Suyash

    Hi Suyash,
    I hope than your planning version is active!
    I also suppose than you have maintained mean of transport and products at Tr.Lanes level.
    I think that you have some master data inconsistency in the version.
    Please run the reports; /SAPAPO/OM17, /SAPAPO/TSCONS, /SAPAPO/TSLCREORGSNP
    You can also run Model Consistency check (t.code /SAPAPO/CONSCHK). First you have to define the Model (t.code /SAPAPO/SCC07) and the Profile (t.code /SAPAPO/CONSPRF).
    Thanks, Marius

  • Version A of ODS object 0FIAP_O03 does not exist

    I am installing this ODS and when i hit simulate , I am getting this message and only the cube is getting installed and nothing else.
    Version A of ODS object 0FIAP_O03 does not exist
    Thanks

    Hi,
    The ODS and update rules might be greyed as they might have already been installed. Even if an object is greyed for the Install check box, it will give you the option to Match or Copy, which would overwrite the current object version with the Business Content version, so try installing selecting this check box.
    Moverover when you are trying to view the activated objects some times the displayed objects are not refreshed, so try refreshing the same and then viewing.
    Hope it helps.
    Cheers

  • Activation of ODS fails: Change-Log Request ODSR_... does not exist in ODS

    Hello Experts,
    I have a problem loading in an ODS object in Release BW 3.5. This load is in parallel to loading in a Cube and InfoObjects from 10 different SAP sources monthly.
    Everytime, I load data, Activation fails. The Error message is "Change-Log Request ODSR_... does not exist in ODS ..." These Requests (30 requests) are very old starting with the Go-Live date of the application in 2005. If I search for the first Request in Reconstruct, a request without a InfoPackage-Name is found and if I reconstruct the request, all other new loaded Request are activated and everything is fine. The next month, the same error appears, but without the one old request in the list reconstructed the month before of course.
    A few months before I had to repair loading and deleted also requests in the ODS. Then I realized my mistake, that reconstruction is not possible, because the request was gone in the reconstruction list. So I searched for the PSA Request in the ODS reconstruction list, found the requests and reconstructed these. Could this be the reason for my current problem?
    But how can I stop this error? Reconstructing all of the requests did not work, because one request says, no active update rules exist for this request. So I stopped reconstructing every request of the long list.
    Please help me, I could not find any helpful information until now ...
    Many thanks in advance,
    Hannes

    Hi,
    For the old requests that you don't want and that are not valid, goto the monitor for those and mark them red. After that you won't face any problems while activating the new requests.
    The reason this is happening is that during activation BW thinks that these old requests are valid as they are green and tries to activate them as they are in squence. When it dosen't find them then it gives the error. If you mark them red, they are ignored and the next request is taken into consideration.
    Cheers,
    Kedar

  • Service to checkin file if it does not exist, else version the file

    Hi All,
    From java layer I use WEBDAV and use PUT command and this command creates a new file if it does not exist, and if the file exists it versions the existing file.
    I have developed a java component to unzip a folder and checkin all individual files and folders into UCM whenever a zip file is checked in.I would like similar feature in my UCM component.i.e whenever files are unzipped they should always be versioned if they exist.I use the below code,but it always creates a new file(even if file with same name exists in the same folder)
    m_binder.setEnvironment(SharedObjects.getEnvironment());
    m_binder.putLocal("dDocName","");
    m_binder.putLocal("IsAutoNumber", "true");
    m_binder.putLocal("AutoNumberPrefix", "olm_");
    m_binder.putLocal("IdcService","CHECKIN_NEW");
    m_binder.putLocal("dDocTitle",entityName);
    m_binder.putLocal("xCollectionID",parentId);
    m_binder.putLocal("dDocType", "Document");
    m_binder.putLocal("dSecurityGroup","Public");
    m_binder.putLocal("dDocAuthor","sysadmin");
    m_binder.putLocal("dCreateDate","");
    m_binder.putLocal("primaryFile", entryName);
    executeService(ws, m_binder,"sysadmin",true);
    So, I would like to know, if there is a service to achieve the same or is there a parameter I can add in m_binder.putLocal to achieve the same? OR am I suppose to query the UCM Database to check for existence of the file and if it exists I need to manually check out and check it in?
    Thanks,
    Shwetha

    Thanks Fabian and Ryan for your feedback.
    So I queried db to retrieve the ddocName and if no rows are returned my code checks in new file. But if rows are returned I checkout the file using CHECKOUT_BY_NAME and then checkin using CHECKIN_UNIVERSAL using same ddocName.
    Creating/checking in new file is successful.
    For existing files the checkout is successful.I also confirmed the file is checked out by querying documenthistory and ensuring a new row is created with dction = 'Check out'
    But post checkout when i try to re-check using CHECKIN_UNIVERSAL command, I receive the below exception
    intradoc.common.ServiceException: !csUnableToCheckIn,OLM_002103!csCheckinItemExists

    Hi Vicky,
    Go to RSA1--> Data Source --> Find the data source (for which the load is getting failed)
    Now Change and activate the data source again.
    Both the status and version should be activated green.
    Also you can use the check button to check the DS.

  • Tcode  P2W2 Does not exist in ECC 6.0 but was there in version 4.6c.

    Hello Friends,
    The Tcode P2W2 does not exist in sap version ECC 6.0 but was there in 4.6C.
    So how can i know if there is a new transaction for this provided by SAP or they have removed it as this is a standard tcode.
    In 4.6c the tcode p2w2 was calling the standard transaction sm29 with some default values. sm29 is persent in the new version.
    also if possible please tell what can be the reason we have the tcode p2w2 with some value in tcode sm29 in 4.6c.
    Regards,
    Vidya.

    Thanks for your help.
    Infact i checked it earlier also in the TSTC table the tcode p2w2 is not existing in new version while it is persent in the older version. I could make zp2w2 and i also gave the default value for sm29 and its working, but the problem is as it was a sap standard transaction so all the end user needs to be informed about the change in tcode to zp2w2 from p2w2 . This will be difficult so i want to make sure there is no other standard transaction before asking the user to use zp2w2.

    Mentor Eugene,
    I guess the issues are related to "Sneak Preview version".
    well, instead of creating new 0DAT,
    i edited  the RSZGLOBV table with 0DAT that i created before.
    http://static.flickr.com/20/71437761_de16ddee16_o.jpg
    http://static.flickr.com/34/71437760_5236824cc2_o.jpg
    so two rows were changed. (from 6 to 4 ).

    <b> What do you think it is okay ? </b>
    Finally, i can get rid of " Component 0DAT (version A) does not exist in the database " message.
    therefore i expect everything goes well.
    but ..
    "Information No texts were maintained in language E for variable 0DAT " comes up.

  • Object ZPAK does not exist in objekt version A for object type Infopackage

    Hi,
    I've transported Info packages to Quality, but in STMS of Qua I've got warning that Info package doesn't exist in object version A. Also I'm unable to see this info package in RSA1 tcode too. I'm working on BI 7.3 environment. The below error messages I've got when I tried to activate the process chain in RSPC for that particular Info package.
    Process variant LOADING ZPAK_4AHP0TXLG506DKX1302Q8R9SW does not exist in version A
    InfoPackage  no longer exists in object version A in table RSLDPIO
    DS  from QS  does not exist in A version; cannot load
    Variant 'ZPAK_4AHP0TXLG506DKX1302Q8R9SW' of process type 'LOADING' not found in A version
    Type "Complete Deletion of Data Target Contents" process cannot follow process "Execute InfoPackage" variant ZPAK_4AHP0TXLG506DK

    First you need transport info pack form dev to bw quality.
    Later you can transport your process chain.
    As my guess your not listening what i said at your previous threads.
    You need to follow the sequences.
    if your info pack(trigger it once) was exist at bw quality then again retransport your chain to bw q.

  • Financial statement version INT does not exist

    Hello Friends,
    I hope someone can help me figure this out and I've read discussions similar, just not exactly what I'm looking for.  When I run the following reports:
    S_ALR_87012271
    S_ALR_87012272
    S_ALR_87012273
    I receive the following error message:
    Financial statement version INT does not exist
    When I first received this message, I went to T-Code OB58 and entered the "INT" Financial Statement Version here.  I've also created a chart of accounts with INT values as well.  Can someone help me out on how to eliminate this error and set up cash flow?  If you have done this already, please do reply.  If not, then please allow those with more experience to help.
    Thanks so much!
    John

    John,
    You can define FSVs for a specific chart of accounts, for a group chart of accounts, or without any specific assignment.
    In your case, double-check whether you are running the report for the same CoA assignment that you have defined your FSV for in the first place.
    As somebody's mentioned earlier, these reports are made using Report Painter (GRR1 / 2 / 3, etc.). Seems FSV = INT has been fixed in these reports for your system. You'll have to edit these reports (using GRR2) and the correct FSV.

    Regards
    Usman

    Hi Usman,
    Domain ID and CMS Server ID are also stored in the SLD when you create these for the first time. As of now you can just create one Domain and One CMS Server id.
    If you have to edit it you may have to do the following.
    1. Delete all the tracks under the domain id and the CMS server id.
    2. Then in SLD. go to HOME -> CONTENT BROWSER -> SUBSET = LANDSCAPE DESCRIPTION
    In the CLASS dropdown please select Change Management Domain. Select the domain that you had created and delete it.
    Again in the CLASS dropdown select Change management Server. Select it and delete.
    Note: Please ensure that all the tracks have been deleted before you delete SLD entries.
    Now login to CMS again and create the Domain and CMS server again.
    If possible please try this some where on a test machine if possible and then try in actual scenario.
    Hope this helps.

  • RH HTML v9.0.2: Supported Version of Word Does Not Exist Error

    Hello,
    I am running RoboHelp HTML v 9.0.2.271 on a Windows 7 64-bit machine, with Microsoft Office 2013 32-bit installed.
    When I try to generate printed output, I get a message box stating that "A supported version of Microsoft Word does not exist.  Please install Microsoft Word 2000 or newer."  I have tried different projects, including the sample RoboHelp projects, and get the same message.
    I have read other similar questions, but for many of the people the problem was due to running a 64-bit version of Word.
    1) Is there somewhere in the RH interface that I can "select" the version of Word I am running or set the path to my Word install folder?
    2) Is there a fix available?
    3) Will upgrading to RH 11 fix the problem?
    Thank you for your input....

    No.
    Well, it's not supported and it's a hack... But you may want to try: Re: Importing Word 2013 files into existing projects in RH10
    Yes. Office 2013 is fully supported in RoboHelp 11. Upgrading will also solve browser compatibility options as well give you lots of new features. See Peter's RoboHelp Tour.
    Kind regards,
    Willam
