OEM 10g Page Not Found

I have installed OEM 10g, and all was working great until today. I get Page Not Found when I try to open the console, so I checked for the service and it was not running. I tried to start the service, OracleDBConsoleorcl, and got an error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion. I am using the version I downloaded from the web, and have made no changes since I first installed it and it was working. I am not using it for anything but my local installation right now, so have not installed the IAS with Grid Control. Do I need to do that even though I have not tried to connect to other Oracle server with OEM? Any suggestions? Thanks.

I turned the XP firewall off and tried to start the dbconsole service again, and it still would not start. The messages above are from that effort to start service.

Help! OEM - Intermittent "page not found" / "connection refused"..

Really hoping someone can help me here; been searching for a solution for ages..
I'm running 10g SE1 on Red Hat Enterprise Linux release 3. Db runs fine, but have been having a nightmare trying to get the Enterprise Manager to work.
I can generally login at http://serverip:5500/em and use the interface for a few seconds / clicks. It connects and displays the right data, but inevitably stops working within a minute of login. In firefox I get the error "the connection was refused" while IE returns a "page cannot be found" error (both running on windows). If I wait a while I can usually login again but the OEM falls over again every time.
emctl status dbconsole tells me that the console is running.
My client and server are on the same LAN.
Any help would be a godsend.

Just done as you suggested, stopped and starts fine, login OK, but still get this same error in less than a minute - any thoughts? Other than this, the OEM seems to work fine.

Trapping "Page Not Found" in Oracle 10g

I am using PL/SQL to update tables. I have to grant EXECUTE on these packageas to PUBLIC since they are being called by an HTML form:
<form action="/pls/portal/procname?PARM1=x&PARM2=x">
However, if the type of the parameters passed is wrong (such as an invalid date or number), the ORACLE error results in a PAGE NOT FOUND from the server.
How can I trap these errors from the PL/SQL Cartridge?

"Download Files"procedure not working in duplicate app/shows page not found

Hello,
I have created an application using the "Download files" procedure described in "How to Upload and Download Files in an Application" chapter of the APEX "Advanced Tutorials." It works just fine on the one server, however, when I exported the application and data from the working copy and imported it in APEX running from my laptop, I could upload files and generate a report with a link to click and download the files again but when I clicked on those links, I would get a "Page Not Found" error. It looks like it might not be going to the procedure and instead goes to a page like the following: "http://127.0.0.1:8080/apex/DBAPORTAL.download_image?p_id=1868612316946460." On the working copy on the other server, when the download link is clicked, you will get a dialog box asking if you would like to open or save the file.
Could anybody tell me why the procedure is not being called and goes to a non existent url while the origonal application works just fine on the other server?
I have granted APEX_PUBLIC_USER execute permissions to the procedure. I am wondering if there are any other permissions that I should be granting. Should I grant PUBLIC or ANONOMUSE permissions to use the "download_image" procedure?
I have forgotten to mention that on my laptop I am using database 11.1 and on the server I believe the database is 10g.
Hope to get an answer to this issue. I've asked a couple people already and they are stumped.

I have tried to follow the instructions commented out "RETURN FALSE;" and added procedure 'DOWNLOAD_IMAGE' to wwv_flow_epg_include_local.sql. But I'm confused. Should I be changing file "wwv_flow_epg_include_local.sql' or 'wwv_flow_epg_include_mod_local" package?
When I run "ALTER SESSION SET DBAPORTAL FLOWS_030100;" in sqlplus, how do I know what FLOWS_XXX I have? Is it FLOWS_030100 or FLOWS_030000? I have database 11.1 installed. What version of APEX do I have with this database? How do I find out?
Do I need to be in a perticular directory before I run the alter script? If so what folder?
How do I "Compile the function wwv_flow_epg_include_local.sql.?"
Needless to say, when I added the procedure to the file, and when I tried to alter it, I got the following error:

Edit Page;Report;Enable CSV Output;Apply Changes;Page Not Found;wwv_flow

Hi,
We have a really annoying error in our application, whereby we are unable to save ANY changes to report attributes if Enable CSV Output is Yes.
I have many pages with Enable CSV Output set to Yes, and when run, the pages can indeed be exported to Excel, fine so far.
However, if we do Edit Page, choose Report change Enable CSV Output to No, then apply changes the option is removed ok - BUT if we then set it back to Yes, when we apply changes again we get a Page Not Found error at this address ;

We obviously dont need to keep changing this value, but the above demonstrates that our reports do currently support CSV output, but for some recent reason, trying to save a page where this option has been changed to Yes causes this crash.
We also seem unable to change and save any other attribute when CSV Output is set to Yes. This leaves us in a tricky situation - unable to change our pages unless we are prepared to remove the Export option!
We were wondering if the support of this this option requires any special processing / objects / etc to be availble / running. Any help greatly appreciated.

Page not found Error on BI publisher

Hi All,
I am new to Oracle BI and I am trying to install and Oracle BI EE 10.1.3.4.1 in windows vista desktop PC. I had already installed Oracle 10g in my PC. Now the Problem is I am getting the Page not found error when I try the below links

I have started the Oracle BI presentation server and OC4J also. But I am not sure what is the problem why it's not running.
Let me know if I can find the logs some where to get more info abt the above problem.
I am using IIS7 but not sure whether Tomcat or anyother service by defualt running ass part of Oracle BI.
if anybody already faced this problem please help me to solve this issue or please post some related link to configure and solve this problem.

I am new to Oracle BI and I am trying to install and Oracle BI EE 10.1.3.4.1 in windows vista desktop PC. I had already installed Oracle 10g in my PC. According to [Oracle Certification Matrix|http://www.oracle.com/technology/support/metalink/index.html], Windows Vista is not supported as a Server OS. So, I would suggest you install any other supported OS and check then (see this [PDF Document|http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E10415_01/doc/bi.1013/e10417.pdf] for the list of supported OS).

Page Not found error + ADF application

Hi,
I am trying to deploy sample application developed using JSF+ADF to oracle applciation server 10g 10.1.3.3 version,but after login(uses jsecurity) applicaiton says Page Not Found eventhough the pages exist.
I apache log i can it says File not exist,eventhough file exist in physical drive. Same application runs local Jdeveloper
Please advice

Check the web.xml file on your server to see what is the context of your applicaiton.
Also try and place a simple HTML file with your JSF pages and see if you can access that HTML file.

Import application - wwv_flow_accept page not found and ora-904

I installed 10g 10.1.0.3 and htmldb from companion cd 10.1.0.3.
Trying to import an application from a file.
If I choose the file and klick on next in the import wizard i get a "page not found" for wwv_flow.accept.

Bernd,
This is an incorrect configuration of your Database Access Descriptor. Remove the line:
PlsqlUploadAsLongRaw *
from your DAD configuration.
With this incorrect line, you are telling modplsql to upload all files into a LONG RAW column in the document upload table. But there is only a BLOB column for document uploads in HTML DB and no LONG RAW column.

SRDemo deployment - Page not found

Hi,
I completed ch. 11 and deployed the app, but when I tested the url (http://localhost:8888/SRDemo/SRList.jspx) - I got the Page not found error. Would appreciate if someone can enlighten me on this.
I had to overwrite the previous deployment, and redeployed again.
Here is the log for the deployment:

Please tell me how to debug this. I can see that there're session loader exception, TOPLINK exception, Unable to process XML tag [external-transaction-controller-class] with value, etc.
I did have a problem with the SRCreate page - .javax.faces.el.EvaluationException: javax.faces.FacesException: javax.faces.FacesException: Can't set managed bean property: 'viewIdProperty'.. Does this has something to do with the above errors when I ran the page SRList.jspx.

Marketing Analytics dashboard reports showing page not found

We are using Apps 7.9.6.3,when I click Glossary dashboard navigation reports links showing page can't found.
Error Page 404 page not found.

Reports Servlet - Page not found

Hi,
We have problems with OracleAS Reports Services. We have installed oracle applicaction server 10g and we create a standalone report server, but when we issue
http://<server>:7778/reports/rwservlet
we get "Page not found" error. We looked at the error.log in Apache/logs directory and it gives:
File does not exist: /app/oracle/product/Reports/Apache/Apache/htdocs/reports/rwservlet
What is the issue? I checked the repserver.conf file, opmn.xml, tnsnames.ora, rwservlet.properties.

In order to "forward" the request to the OC4J OC4J_BI_Forms , some settings are required :
Could you check that mod_oc4j.conf in included in httpd.conf ?
In $ORACLE_HOME/Apache/Apache/conf/httpd.conf
# Include the mod_oc4j configuration file
include "d:\oracle\unified\Apache\Apache\conf\mod_oc4j.conf"
Then, check that there is an Oc4jMount directive for reports :
In $ORACLE_HOME/Apache/Apache/conf/mod_oc4j.conf
Oc4jMount /reports OC4J_BI_Forms
Oc4jMount /reports/* OC4J_BI_Forms
