OEM 12c start failed
Hi dears,
I am facing very stupid situation , please help.
After I failed with installation of Virtualization Plug-in (from EM12c console) because my agent is crashed
I can't start OEM.

Mine was a BP1 patch upgrade issue also. We did the following:
a. Installed EM12c. Configured some targets. Everything worked fine.
b. Installed OMS BP1. OPatch worked fine. The post_deploy worked fine
c. Downloaded all the updated 12.1.0.2 plugins online. Worked fine
d. Applied the database plugin update to the OMS. Pre-reqs claimed everything passed. Got to the deployment phase and seemed to hang.
e. Restarted OMS...OMS wont start again, claims that deployment of plugin is still in progress. OMS is locked.

OS = OEL6.1
DB= 11gr2.0.3 / Installed with no problems
All required rmps are ok.

I have not set all DB memory initialization parameters because of lack of resources.
But I think this problem is not related to RAM , SGA, PGA.
Mebe problem is in OS ?
I am going to install in OEL5.7 and OEL6.2.

Yes of course there is 4gb free space, I checked everything what I know after search in the net and
I found a lot of recurses and articles about OEM 12c installation but most of them is just a
screen shots of installation nothing deeply,(just copy and past from official documentation ) finally I come to this forum :) -

Also take a look on the ACCOUNT_STATUS of SYSMAN, DBSNMP user account.if it's LOCK then unlock first.
In a worst case you will need to recreate the repository ...

Install OEM 12c fails on "start oracle management service". win2008
Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise SP1 x64
Oracle Database 11g release 11.2.0.3.0
I install OEM 12c(12.1.0.3) following this manual: Installing Enterprise Manager System
before start i've installed WebLogic Server 10.3.6 and aplied 2 patches specified in this manual
installation type is advanced, small, so i have created database from the appropriate template
i also installed cygwin and started ssh-service
the installation of OEM process fails on 73% "start oracle management service" with this message:

First of all with EM 12.1.0.x any version you are not required to install wls separately, we have single installer for em and wls. Is there any specific reason you installer wls separately?
Coming back to your issue: can you check
%OMS_HOME%\BIN>emctl istart oms completes successfully.
%OMS_HOME%\BIN>emctl istop oms completes successfully.
Also open an SR with Oracle support and share the number. We should debug such issue through SR so that we can share logs and come find a root cause. -
OEM 12c installation is failed

My auto install for Premiere Elements failed and told me i needed to do a restart and try installing again. Having restarted my laptop, how do I install the software? There are two .exe files in the folder - oem and start-up. Which should i run?

I have installed oms (OEM 12c) on primary node but adding oms to another node using the console is failing with the error below.
The nodes are set up with F5 SLB, everything is working okay on the primary node including SLB console etc.
My environment is RHEL6 (6.4) - Linux 2.6.32-358.el6.x86_64.

Suspecting software library some files are all 0 bytes - this was caused due to a problem with the NFS mount-point where software library is configured. This is a know issue Bug16374229 and fixed in next EM release. For now, support will be updating you how to move forward, also refer-1531166.1 -
OEM 12c for solaris (sparc) disk2 download failed
I am trying to download OEM 12c for solaris (sparc) from below link but disk 2 download failed after 80% with a error saying connection to server closed. I tried it couple of times with different browsers even from different machine but still same error. Disk 1 downloaded successfully but disk2 always failed right at 80% after 2.4 GB downloaded. It makes me belive that it is a problem related to source file or server. Anyone has similar experience and know how to get it solved?

I am in UK, I suspect there's an issue with the Oracle mirrors, and that if you are downloading from US it probably works fine. Can someone from Oracle investigate this please?
We consistently get the same result: the downloaded file is: 2,732,571,489 bytes, rather than 3,430,333,041 bytes. It will not unzip as it is not a valid archive, error message:

However, this error message is caused by an invalid / incomplete zip file.
I have also tried Oracle Edelivery site with same result.

Fail to login as other user on OEM 12c Release 2 Cloud control console
Hi,
I tried to login on OEM 12c release 2 cloud control console as other user it show the following error
Authentication failed. If problem persists, contact your system administrator
but when i try with sysman account then it successful done. so i dont know why it happen. I also checked job_queue_processes that is 1000 and i also checked listener,agent,oms status all are up.
so please suggest me what should i do and what is the main cause of this problem.

OEM 12c E-Business Suite Plugin Issue
Hello All,
I am currently new to OEM 12c, and I have the latest version installed and running, Version 12.1.0.2.0. So far everything has been running great, and agents have been downloaded and deployed with little to no issues. However, I am now trying to deploy the E-Business Suite Plug-in to the Management Server first, and I receive an error:

I can't seem to find any helpful info on the errors concerning EM-04001 and EM-04026. I did see that there was a bug fix which was required, bug number 13242773. But reading the ReadMe says this is only for OEM version 12.1.0.1.0.
So, my question is, has anyone run into this problem, or have any suggestions on how to get this plug-in deployed successfully?

Start by referencing our “Getting Start” MOS note 1434392.1it contains all the required patches, certification details, and related documentation. Once you are ready to perform the install start out by reviewing Chapter 2 - Installing the Oracle Application Management Pack for Oracle E-Business Suite of our Oracle Application Management Pack for Oracle E-Business Suite Guide Release 12.1.0.1.0. 3.1.1 upgrade breaks OEM 12c Infrastructure Cloud

After upgrading from 3.0.3 to 3.1.1 (manager first then servers) all of the Oracle VM targets in OEM 12c Infrastructure Cloud have metric collection errors, specifically "ERROR - Failed to connect to OVM Manager1010", i.e. oracle.sysman.vt.ovm.integration.api.EMOVMCommunicationServiceException: 1010: Error while performing the operation: Connection to the remote OVM Manager url tcp://ovm-laforge.sf.mokum.com:54321 failed. Please make sure that the OVM Manager version is 3.0.2 or greater and the service url and the credentials are correct.Check exception cause and logs for more details.[com.oracle.ovm.mgr.api.exception.FailedOperationException:OVMAPI_6000E Internal Error: Connection refused Connection refused.

I recollect in 12.0, not 12.1, there was a required OVM password deep in a hidden nook in the OEM Infrastructure Cloud GUI, I cant find it in 12.1, could this be the issue?

RoddyA quick update, Oracle support just informed me the 3.1.1 is not certified with OEM 12c 12.1. Not very helpful information, but its a start.
At first glance it appears that the OVM development team made changes that break the virtualization plug-in.
Any assistance and/or workarounds would be greatly appreciated! -
OEM 12c unable ot discover Weblogic 10.0.1.0
I have OEM 12c grid installed and Agent 12c running on the remote host. I have weblogic 10.0.1.0 installed in the remote host. The agent is unable to discover the domain. It is failing with below error...
"Failed to discover WebLogic. Check host,port,credentials,protocol and be sure the server is running and the same farm is not already added. This UI can not be used to discover WebLogic version 7.x to 8.x. Exception: No targets discovered"
I can login to the console appication with the ip:port and credentials.. but failing while trying to discover thru the Grid Control.

I then created a empty doman on the same remote host for the same weblogic version. I was able to attch this one and not the other domain.
I am ruling out OM Grid Server - Agent connectivity issues, since the new empty domain I created can communicate to server.
I tried to check what is different between domains...
The WLD that has the issue is a clustered Domain , and has:
- 9 Managed Servers
- Not SSL enabled
- Many Application deployed
- JDBC connections
- has a custom build authentication provider for Authentication. But i made sure the user id is valid and even can login to the console.
** The new Domain is an empty one - no applications deployed.

I need your urgent help, I am trying since long to get this basic installation done for OEM 12c OPS Center. It is failing with below error :-
