OEM: error connecting to database: java.exe - Entry point not found
Greetings all. I have oracle 11g installed on a system and wanted to also install Enterprise Manager from 10g. The installation went smoothly, but when I try to connect to a database using OEM, I get an error stating "The procedure entry point longjmp could not be located in the dynamic link library orauts.dll.
I've seen many threads indicating that environment variables are not set correctly, but regardless of which installation I specify for ORACLE_HOME and PATH, I get this error. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your responses.

I keep getting the error message apple sync notifier.exe entry point not found. The procedure entry point xmitextreaderconstname could not be located in the dynamic link library libxml2.dll, what do I do to get rid of this?
With Windows Explorer, navigate to your C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support folder.
Copy the SQLite3.dll that you should find there, navigate to the nearby Mobile Device Support folder, and Paste it in there also.
Restart the programme all should be well
In case that your OS is (64 bit)
1. Open windows explorer, go to location C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
2. Copy file "SQLite3.dll"
3. Now paste it in the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support
4. Restart the programme, it should not display that message, it should be clear.

Since updating to 10.4 I've been getting this error message on computer startup
'AppleSyncNotifier.exe – Entry Point Not Found
The procedure entry point xmlTextReaderConstName could not be located in the dynamic link library libxml2.dll.'.
Please help me fix this annoying problem?
belleThis is the fix I got from discussions and it worked for me. It is copied below. I just did the manual fix which I have underlined. Good luck! Regards, Belle.
This can occur because libmxl2.dll is not in your C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support folder.
There have been some issues with this and other dlls not being in the right place (or not being everywhere they should be) since the 10.3.1.55 iTunes update.
However, I note that the 10.4 iTunes update is now out - surprisingly quickly - so try installing that, rebooting, and see if your issue is solved.
If it isn't, though, here's the manual fix:-
With Windows Explorer, navigate to your C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support folder.
Copy the libmxl2.dll that you should find there, navigate to the nearby Mobile Device Support folder, and Paste it in there also.
Reboot and see if all is well.
I actually had the issue with SQLite3.dll, and the above fix worked for me (I found it in an April 2010 posting!).
I passed on the fix as above for the similar issue with libmxl2.dll to someone who had exactly your problem, and he reported that it fixed it for him. -
Error Msg: Apple sync notifier exe entry point not found
Hi. I'm getting the above error message when I log-on to my laptop. I've looked for a solution on the web but cannot find one where the answer/link is still good. Can anyone help me?
ThanksThanks for your feedback. Somehow the problem seemed to clear-up on it's own. Since I posted the question on the 7th, I've had to deal with a security issue on my laptop ... it appears that someone continues to break through the security settings on my router even though I keep changing the security settings on the router and making other security changes. I've become obsessed with trying to resolve this. Maybe one of the changes I made in this process helped the problem ....
Thank you again. -

OutlookSyncClient.exe - Entry Point Not Found
I'm at wit's end with this. I've spent most of last night, and this morning trying to track this down. It all started with the iTunes 7.7 update, but it didn't happen until I started syncing Outlook with MobileMe. I get two error messages, about every 15-20 minutes. MobileMe is set to sync "automatically." At one point, I was getting and error message stating that MobileMe couldn't sync and to check my settings. The settings were right, and apparently in my troubleshooting steps I've made that error go away.
OutlookSyncClient.exe - Entry Point Not Found
The procedure entry point MAPIInitialize could not be located in dynamic link library MAPI32.DLL
It has nothing but an OK box, I hit that, and directly after I get another one with the exact same message.
The best part is, the syncing is working fine with MobileMe. These error messages are driving me nuts.
I uninstalled my Nokia's syncing software BEFORE I attempted to even setup with MobileMe (the Nokia was my pre-iPhone-phone). I've uninstalled/reinstalled iTunes. I've uninstalled/reinstalled Office 2003 and its service pack. I've completed all critical updates to Office. I'm running XP Pro SP3 with all critical updates completed. I've also manually deleted the MAPI32.DLL file and ran FIXMAPI to replace it with a good copy.
UPDATE: When I previously stated that I got rid of the MobileMe Sync error message, I apparently have not. It pops up randomly and says:
The sync failed because MobileMe is not property configured on your computer.
Make sure your settings are correct under the Sync tab in the MobileMe preferences on this computer.
They are correct. If I hit the Sync Now button, everything goes smoothly.
Any ideas before I just set fire to this thing?
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

I uninstalled Office 2003, then iTunes, then all of the associated software (Mobile Device Support, Apple Update, Quicktime, EVERYTHING)
Reinstalled Office 2003, then Office 2003's Service Pack 3, then all Microsoft Updates for Office 2003. Then I configured a blank Outlook profile, no data other than the IMAP info for my .Mac/Me account. Then I downloaded (didn't used my existing copy) of iTunes 7.7 and reinstalled. Sync'd phone. Changed MobileMe settings. Told it to sync contacts and calendar with Outlook. It warned me because it was the first sync. Told it to take ALL of the MobileMe data and replace the data on the computer (which was blank.) NOTHING showed up in Outlook. When I tell it to sync Contacts with the Windows Address Book, it works fine.
In Conclusion, it still won't sync with Outlook, when it's set to Sync with Outlook I still get the annoying MAPI errors. So I switched to to Sync the Contacts with the Windows Address Book, and I'm backing up my WAB file now with my nightly backups.
I suppose we'll see if it gets fixed when I format/reinstall on Vista Ultimate in the next month or two. If anyone has any suggestions, I'm open and willing to try them.
On a completely unproductive note: Despite my love for Exchange, I hate MAPI. -
I updated itunes and it wont work. i unistalled all apple apps, about 5 to 10 times. i get this message on my HP 530,32 bit windows vista. At the top in the error window it says
*iTunes.exe - Entry Point Not Found* Then under that in the error box it says:
*The procedure entry point*
*QTCF_CFUniCharGetUnicodePropertyDataForPlane could not be located in the dynamic link library QTCF.dll.*
What do i DO PLEASE HELP ME OUT!!!!!!!!I found the qtcf.dll file in the sys32 moved it to the desktop tried iTunes and still same error message as above.
Okay ... sometimes there can be multiple copies of them lurking about on a PC.
Try heading into Computer, and typing QTCF.dll in your Search field. When Vista tells you it can't find the file, click "advanced" and tick the "Search hidden, non-indexed and system files (might be slow)" and then start another search.
This search *will indeed be slow.* Wait until the green progress bar up at the top of the screen has completely vanished, otherwise you might accidentally stop the search too soon.
What copies of QTCF.dll do you find, and where are their file locations? (The default location on a 32-bit Vista PC is in C:\Program Files\QuickTime\QTSystem\QTCF.dll) -

ITune.exe entry point not found
Hi G's (Geniuses)
I installed the new itune 9.0.3 and now i'm getting a error message that says "itune.exe-entry point not found" box. In the box i the goes on to read "The procedure entry point QTCF_CFUniCharGetUnicodePropertyDataForPlane could not be located in dynamic link library QTCF.dll. and the box will not close untill i uninstall QuickTime Player. I when't as far as reinstalling the itune and QT Player under a new user account, still no good. Uninstall and installed countless times still can't get it to work contacted support still no good. i'm fresh out of idea's any suggestion? Any one out there with the same problem"The procedure entry point QTCF_CFUniCharGetUnicodePropertyDataForPlane could not be located in dynamic link library QTCF.dll.
That one is most commonly caused by an older, misplaced copy of QTCF.dll lurking around on your system.
The first place to look for one on a 64-bit system would be in the C:\Windows\sysWOW64\ directory. Can you see a QTCF.dll in there? If so, try dragging it out onto the desktop. Are you able to launch QuickTime/iTunes now? -
Just installed LV 5.1 on customers PC. She already has LV 6.1, and 7.1 installed. Upon reboot, at login screen, the error message below occurs:
"nimax.exe-entry point not found"
"The procedure entry point?GetVirtualChannelObjectOnServer@CNIConfigData@@QAEKPBD0@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library nidaqcfg.dll."
I have tried installing the latest version of MAX. No luck. Any help would be appreciated.

Ann's.doc 30 KBHi Marxs,
My first suggestion would be to avoid installing LabVIEW 5.1 if possible. This for a few reasons...
LabVIEW 5.1 has the option to install DAQ with LabVIEW. If you elected to install NI-DAQ with the LV 5.1 install, you will run into driver conflict problems.
If you want to use DAQms with LabVIEW 7.1, you will need to install NI-DAQ 7.1, 7.2 or 7.3. You can also use NI-DAQ 7.3 with LabVIEW 6.1. However, NI-DAQ 7.3 will NOT install support for LabVIEW 5.1. This means that you will not be able to use your DAQ devices in LV 5.1.
If you need DAQ for LV 5.1, you will need to go back to NI-DAQ 6.9.3. This version will work with 5.1 and 6.1, but you will loose functionality in LabVIEW 7.1.
My suggestions would be as follows:
-- uninstall LabVIEW 5.1 and all versions of DAQ that are on the machine
-- re-install LabVIEW 5.1 but choose the "custom" and elect NOT to install DAQ
-- Install NI-DAQ 7.3 and have support for 7.1 and 6.1 (no support for 5.1 is available)
Basically, when you try to mix these very old versions of LabVIEW and DAQ with the newer stuff you will run into driver conflicts that can be unpredictable. -
