However, I originally had the kindle app on there and when he is reinstalling it comes up with my kindle account. How do we change this?
OPen teh Kindle app.
Tap the i at bottom right then Settings > Deregister this device.

He does not have an actual kindle so I am not sure if he would be able to create one anyways.
The Kindle app is so you do not have to use a Kindle. Yes, he can have a Kindle account and not own an actual Kindle hardware device.

When i try to open week cal it loads and then closes after a few seconds...I have checked for updates, turned the phone off then on, closed out of the app and then opened it again...nothing works! I have thought about deleting the app from my phone and then reloading it again but I worry that it will delete all my calendar info??? Any suggestions?
To reset, press and hold the Home and power buttons until the silver apple appears.
I would delete the app, reset the phone and then download the app again. Your calendar information should be stored on the phone as Week Cal uses the Calendar app information.

If you have in mind backup, I would not count on iCloud backup, just go to ~/Library/Application Support/Address Book. In Lion, ~/Library is available by pressing Option key when selecting Go while in the finder. Backup that folder.
Deleting that app will create further troubles. When a basic Apple app bahaves like that, you should better identify why it behaves like that, it may mean a more serious system issue. Is this the only app, which presents this problem? If yes, rather delete its associated plist file in ~/Preferences (the same location, press Option when selecting Go).
Do regular backups of your data, choose a backup app you consider appropriate and proceed. When you are familiar with its reactions, you may then ‘play’ with deleting the partition and install/reinstall. -
I have purchased an item from within the app PocketBible on my iPad. However when I try to download it I am asked for my app User Name and Password and then my Apple ID and password. I give both of these. I then get a message which says Regrant failure - Please log in with the same user that has bought the app. That is then followed by Pocket Bible Alert - cannot connect to iTunes Store.
Anybody got any ideas, both what the 1st alert means and how I get round the problem please.I had the same problem. My wife had the PocketBible on her Ipad 2 and she transferred ownership to me. I had to delete the app and reinstall it from the App store(logged in with my apple ID) and its working without a problem. I do not get those error messages when I attempt to Buy/Upgrade or Add/Remove books.

I am having a problem with my youtube account, as since updating to iOS 8.3, the other day, every time I go to my youtube account and click on anything there by opening up a tab, it always goes to the youtube app and then goes back and opens a new tab. Everytime I have updated, it seems to get worse not better. One other thing that happened that has not been fixed yet when I updated a while ago, was that when you have many tabs open and go back and forth between them, it aleays reloads and does not stay the way you left it. Wish Apple would get it right and especially with youtube issues. So my question regarding my youtube account would be if I can delete the youtube app, without affecting my account.
If you delete the YouTube app you will not be affecting your YouTube account. You can always reinstall it & see if that fixes the problem.
As far as Safari pages reloading between tabs, I have also noticed the issue after iOS 8 on my iPad 2. Updating to the latest iOS on older devices can see a degradation in performance within certain apps due to the limitations of those devices.
We made the choice to update & with the many benefits of the latest & greatest iOS there are bound to be some problems too, -
I bought an I Pad 3 2 days ago and updated to IOS 6 Software. Was working fine until last night and now it is not responding to touchscreen but is instead a voice advising me to double click on my apps and then which explains them - like a tutorial. Please help!
Sounds like you have VoiceOver (one of the accessibility features) 'on'. Try triple-clicking the home button and see if that turns it off, and if it does you can then change what a triple-click does via Settings > General > Accessibility > Triple-Click Home.
If that doesn't turn it off then you can either turn it off directly on the iPad (you need to use a tap-to-select and then double-tap to activate/type process and 3 fingered scrolling) to go into Settings > General > Accessibility and turn VoiceOver 'off', or you can do it by connecting to your computer's iTunes : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4064 -

Hey mate. Try and connect your iphone to itunes while its turned off and see if it recognises it. If it doesnt, connect iphone via usb to pc and try and turn it on, if that doesnt help, try putting your iphone in DFU mode and then do a restore which will basicly delete everything of your iphone, but you can restore it from a backup later on and get your stuff back. To put iphone in DFU mode, do this. 1. connect iphone to pc with usb cable. 2. press and hold together home and sleep button for exactly 10 seconds, after 10 seconds release the sleep button and keep holding the home button until your pc recognises your iphone in recovery mode. Make sure your itunes is opened while doing this. If this doesnt help either, take to in apple store mate and let them take a look. Hope I helped. Cheers

My new iPod touch 64 Gig has a problem after syncing with iTunes. My purchased apps no longer work. I touch them and they seem to try to open but they do not.
The only way I have found to fix this is as follows:
I delete one of the purchased apps. Then I go to the App Store and re-download and install the same app. After that, all my apps work again.
Please help.Download/install an app is a know possible solution.

I am stumped as my iPad2 is frequently shutting down while I am using it. I took it to the Apple Store where they cleared it and I reloaded the Apps, but this didn't help. It is less than a year old.
Another fellow Apple users suggested the following steps:
1. Try a reset (probably unnecessary for you, but try it anyway)
2. Clean docking port with clean tooth brush and alcohol (and not too much alcohol)
3. Try another wall socket (preferably one that's not shared with other devices)
4. Try another cable (make sure it's an original Apple cable)
5. Try another charger (make sure it's an original Apple charger)
6. Make sure you're not using a USB hub (may not have enough of power) -
My iPhone 5 had too many pictures stored on it. So I downloaded them to iPhoto after they were imported I click for it to delete the pictures from the phone. The pictures were never deleted and then the phone try to update to the new the new IOS even though I did not click for the phone to do this. I got an error saying the phone could not update and that I would have to restore the phone to factory settings. The phone is frozen and just talks to me when I try to do a function on the phone. And it hasn't restored or updated anything.

My facebook app seems to be frozen and i cant get it to do anything. what can i do to fix this problem or uninstall the app and then reinstall it?
Try closing the Facebook app completely and see if it works ok when you re-open it : from the home screen (i.e. not with the Facebook app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Facebook app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then you could try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
