Of my document I only want two of the pages to be in column format. How do I do so without having the whole document in columns?

How do I do this. I really am wondering, because I need it for my paper. THANKS SO MUCH!

Hi four,
The key to searches is a good search key. In your case (as in most), the search key is in your question. You are looking for information about "columns". Strip the "s" suffix from it, and your search key becomes "column"
Entered as a search key in the Pages '09 User Guide, "column" produces as its first hit, this line:
4   ...47 Defining Columns, 48 Defining | Contents
You could scan down the list for a better result, but you could just click that one and go to page 4 in the table of contents.
About half way down page 4, you'll find this group of entries:
46 Using Layouts
  47 Defining Columns
  48 Defining Column Breaks
  48 Defining Layout Breaks
  49 Defining Layout Margins
This tells you that "Columns" is part of the larger topic "Layouts", and introduces the term "Layout Breaks."
So with a single word search key and a single click, you've narrowed the search to a four page section of the User Guide.
Page 46 will give you a brief description of what Layout breaks are and how they can be used, ending (as most of the introduction sections do) with a "To learn more about..." table telling what's available in the rest of the section.
Clicking on any of the other page listings in this section will take you to that page, and put you within sniffing distance of a solution for your question.
