Off topic : get some opinions about my personal project

This time I want something different. I hope I don't do anything wrong when I ask for your opinions. Please, sorry my grammar.
I make a magazine by my own. My fiance help me with the contents and some articles (technical articles and short histories), but the rest are my own design. This is a personal proyect, not comercial (for now) and I do it like for exploring options and ideas.
I'm sure I make lot of mistakes but I'm sure I do something good nevertheless. So, if you can tell me my mistakes and successes, I'll really thank a lot.
You can download the PDF (it's a little heavy, 207Mb) from our blog (http://virtualmagazineonline.blogspot.com/p/descargas.html). We have an account in Issuu but it's a free one, and have many limitations, by example, we must had to split the file in three parts, and the crossword do not work normally. In the blog you will found 2 editions of my project. The one I want opinions is the second number, May 2013 (Virtual Magazine N° 2 Mayo 2013)

I don't know about your question 1 and 2. Seems like it could be a workout that wasn't ended or just a glitch.
What was your goal? It will measure whatever you set it to measure. Calories burned, distance, run more often, etc.
I set a run more often goal of at least 3 times in 16 weeks. It is averaging and making a calculated guess from that average as to when those runs would take place. So if I run three days in a row and not again that week, I will be ahead of my goal, and then the system catches up and I'm on target again.
I imagine it's doing the same for your goal.

Can I please get some answers about fraudulent access to my itunes account?

Today I found three unauthorized charges to my itunes account. Following those three charges, three other unauthorized charges appeared from other software/gaming companies (NCSoft, Valve Software, and TMA). I can't get an actual person to answer the phone at Apple and I would like some answers about unauthorized access to itunes accounts. When I called my bank to report the fraud, they told me they had already received several calls this morning about unauthorized itunes charges and then larger, unauthorized software charges.
I would really like someone from Apple to address these questions, are they aware that there are problems with itunes accounts? If so, what is being done?

I had the same EXACT thing happen to me. This morning I looked at my bank account & there was a $1 charge from itunes (not unusual, except this charge did not come with an email receipt as they usually do) there there are two $49.99 holds on my account from Valve Software. I cancelled my card with the bank right away. I tried calling Valve Software and a message comes on stating "if you have a question about a charge to your bank account, press 7". Happen much??? hmmmm I left a message with no return call as of yet. I'm guessing someone hacked my itunes account.. Valve Software is a video game website that sells downloads on there as well as through itunes. Apple should immediately cease dealings with this company as they sound VERY shady. This is not the first blog I've seen about it. Now it's going to take time to get my money back & now I have to get a new card/card number. Pain in the butt because some hacker needs a thrill. jerks...

Need some opinions about Asha

I'm in the USA and currently on Verizon (CDMA YUCK!), looking to switch to GSM but I am having a hard time deciding between some phones.
My contract is up in July, and that is when I am thinking of switching.
I currently have a basic phone with no mobile internet.
I saw the Asha 501 and I LOVE IT. The one thing that gets me is the lack of 3G. Having said that, I dont expect to be a power user with the webpages while on a cell network, mostly going and looking at facebook, news, weather. No videos, music, etc- I have an iPod touch for that. Im wondering if I should pick it up, wait for a 3G model, or look at the Asha 311 instead.
What do you guys think? Do we even think they will come out with a 3G Asha Software Platform phone? How could I get the Asha 501 in the USA if I were to purchase it?

there is indeed no 3G in Asha 501 (at least not in the currently announced variants), but it has Wi-Fi. also the browser of the device (Nokia Xpress Browser) uses proxy browsing, so amount of transfered data is significantly lower than if it was with "direct browsing".
pro side for being "2G only" the device has a super battery life - 3G devices tend to more power hungry.
as for current or coming availability in US - we'll have to wait and see. But "if all else fails", I'm fairly sure you'll be able to grab one from Amazon or other similar place.
Asha 311 is a decent device IMO too, though I personally like the UI of the new Asha 501 more.

[Off topic] Need some hints where to start

I've been out of C++ for around 9 years. (Doing java since then)
For an upcoming project I have to get back into it.
I've already done quite much execise with STL, boost and ICU.
Now I'm looking for a solution for the following problem:
I need some kind of RessourceManager, which is able to suspend
some threads and dump their memory to disk. It must maintain
dependencies between ressources and should be as transparanet
as possible to the rest of the source code. It should have some config
options like amount of memory to use, etc.
I think a starting point would be an Allocator which is connected to
a ResourceManager.
Is there any standard way, which I haven't found, to do this?

To get some errors about group policy due to disabled an account

I have an active directory on windows 2012 datacenter. there is a domain on it. it works well.
Also there is a another AD on another location. there is another domain on it. also it works too.
there is a trust relationship between 2 domains.
I disabled an account on first AD server 4 days ago. and then my colleague who manages second AD, notified that started to recieve some errors from eventviewer and have an issue about their group policy.
the issue event as below;
The processing of Group Policy failed. Windows could not authenticate to the Active Directory service on a domain controller
(LDAP Bind function call failed). Look in the details tab for error code and description.
Event ID 1006
Event Source Group Policy
I think the concerning account was built on the second AD for a service. But we don't know how we can find the account on the second AD server in order to change it.
How can I fix the issue?

What account did we disable? We can check the error code (displayed as a decimal) and error description fields of Event ID 1006 to see if more information can be found.

I need to get some information about an error message that comes up every time I go to Mozilla. Who can I email.

Every time I go to Mozilla I get an error message which says "www.netregistry.com.au:443 uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is not trusted because no issuer chain was provided." I have checked wit netregistry and there is not an issue on their end and we determined there is an issue with Mozilla. Could you please advise why this message is coming up. It has only been happening for the past 3 weeks.

Does your swf file load any other files that you might have forgotten to include when you uploaded the supporting files? If I link directly to the file on the server it still loads all white, but it does load (simply indicating the swf is there).

Wants to get some info about .ico file usage in InDesign

There is some .ico file used in a project.
In the .rc file, resouce information is define and given a numeric id to this resouce file.
Then this numeric id is #defined in the ID.h file and used where needed in .fr panel for display a picture on a panel. Things are working well in ms window os as I think .rc file is meant for this platform.
But On mac what more changes I have to do in my project so that I can use these .ico files.

You can use the PNG based resources, these files are platform independent files and can be used both in the MAC and Win version of your plugin. For the approach you are currently using you will have to create MAC specific resource file(.r or .rsrc) file just as you create the .rc file for windows.
For using the PNG based resource all you need is to define a resource as follows
resource PNGA(kYourIconResourceID) "Icon.png" in the .fr file
and also define the "kYourIconResourceID" in the id.h file and you are all set to use the png file both in WIN and MAC plugins. All the application tools icon use png file, so this is the preferred platform independent way to go.
