Office 365 downgrade for Office 2010 Product Key
Hi,
I just would like to inquire if it is possible to downgrade the Office 365 that was purchased from a vendor. The vendor specifically assured us that there would be product keys that would be given and we would be able to use it in on our existing Office
2010 products. But unfortunately, it does not work.
The vendor is no longer answering our calls, emails text messages, etc after he has received the payment for the Office 365.
We are located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Thanks in advance.
Hi,
Who is that vendor? What did they tell you in detail?

Microstoft Office 2010 product key error
I located the Office 2010 product key sticker on the side of my computer. It came pre-installed. When I type in the Product Key, I get an error message saying it is "Not a Valid Product Key". I have double checked that I am not typing the code in incorrectly and I cannot find multiple copies of Office 2010 installed.
This question was solved.

Hi,
No, that is NOT Office product key, it's Windows product key. Your machine has pre-installed TRIAL version. If you wish to continue to use it you have to buy e keycard. I really hate this practice from vendors and ALWAYS uninstall trial software on my computers. Please check the following link to buy product keycard.
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/buy/product-key-card-FX101850744.aspx
You can pay much cheaper for Home & Student version and a lot cheaper with a student id card.

Can I re-install Office 2010 Product Key Card?
I have a Office 2010 Product Key Card version. Do I need to remove it completely from one Windows 7 computer before I attempt to install it on a completely different Windows 7 computer.
Or does that version of Office 2010 always need to stay with the first computer?
If the latter is true, I wish that would have been spelled out in big, bold letters on the product box.
Thanks.Hi,
Yes, you can transfer Office 2010 to another PC.
But please note that you must remove Office 2010 completely from the previous PC. You’ll also need to use telephone option in Activation Wizard to contact the activation center after you transfer Office 2010 to another PC.

Office 2010 Product Key blocked
I have installed Office 2010 again on a rebuild of Windows 7 and when I try to change the
product code so that it is activated it locks up. When I go to your site and put in the product
code it says it is blocked.
I bought the product with a new computer and it worked for a long time. Now with rebuilding Windows 7
and reinstalling office the code is blocked.
How do I get it unblocked without playing lots of games and filling many forms? If I can't I will stop buying MSFT
products and make do with other products, mostly free ones...Hi,
If you want to re-use the product key on a rebuild machine, please contact the customer service to migrate the product key:

Over the years I have had many ISP and email addresses - but now we have finally gone almost fully virtual...
I have a live login and MS ID 4 my SkyDrive account but I only use my MS touch with 8.1, SkyDrive and office 365 for mobility.
And I still like to backup to my own server!!!
What would be good is if I can put all the software licenses and product keys of the software and keep a record of my mac addresses for hardware and even static IP's in a file or a secure location within the MS online store.
That's where MS wants me to get my computing needs from in future and I will always be able to retrieve it in future but what about the $$$$$ I have spent on software, hardware and applications prior to now???
I know u guys love 2 collect data 4 marketing analysis,
4 example I have an old PC that is still running a server from last century - if you knew about it a simple script would allow you to offer upgrades or at least relevant MS products - UNLIKE the rubbish adds I just turn off or tune out
now...
Why cant I add products previous online email purchases into the 1 MS live ID account where I can keep it together? If you make that available I don't have to have separate steam accounts, EA game accounts, ASUS and adobe accounts etc
etc.
What has brought me 2 this is I was looking for my office pro 2007 disks to rebuild a HOME USE ONLY windows 7 laptop (NO touch screen so 8.1 is no benefit at all)
I HAVE 4 Genuine PRODUCT KEYs for Office 2007 BUT EVERY TIME I WENT TO DOWNLOAD the software - regardless of the key I used - I got the error message: We are sorry, but we are unable to complete your request.•The Office 2007 Product Key
provided is already associated with another user on this site. Please log in with the user information originally used with this Office 2007 Product Key.
That's crap - This is a clean brand spanker install of Win7 and there was nothing b4 I put the oem drivers from Toshiba back on.
I looked at dozens of support pages and forum blogs and tried for hours to get a copy to download - including incognito and other logins but because my default PC name is also my MS Windows live ID the same error was repeated.
I keep away from the non MS sites for these things and with good reason - there were heaps of similar users with the same issue or very close to it that had downloaded from a supposed MS copy from eValue or digital river etc and the next
thing was total corruption of the OS.
EVENTUALLY I found a LIVE MS chat on a support site in the US and she gave me a link to a slightly older version which will need updating and some reg edit changes but so far, so good.
The point is - what a crock !
I should be able to just keep all my software, drivers, updates, service packs, and versions that I have upgraded in the MS store.
If Microsoft aren't going to support XP or Office 2003 and eventually 2007, vista & Windows7 not far behind??? then that's still no excuse for them to put these restrictions and limits when I OWN my copy of the software!!
Unlike office 365 and SkyDrive space which is described in the T&C (that we all read before ticking that radial button to agree of course) as ONLY under a leased licence.
IF Microsoft can support AND develop software that supports SQL2000 Servers, why is it so hard to archive and keep the same info for everyone???Over the years I have had many ISP and email addresses - but now we have finally gone almost fully virtual...

How to get Exchange 2010 Product Keys from an existing installed servers

the product key from portal am able to see only 2013 keys. we called up Microsoft and explained but no use. they said we have to use exchange 2013. but we cant simply go ahead and migrate.
but the only option is we have exchange 2010 installed servers they all act as CAS/HUB server with the same licence. please let me know how do i retrieve exchange 2010 product keys from an existing servers. Please advise me its very critical.

Office for Mac 2008 Product key
Hello. I have the disk and I was wondering if anyone new of a site where I can buy just the product key and not the disk.
Thank youMicrosoft should be able to help you but I believe a key is just about as expensive as the retail package. You might want to try MS Support and see if you qualify for a discount. Worked for me with my XP Cd.

Can anyone help me find Office 2007 product key for preinstalled trial?
Hello - can someone advise, please? My laptop came with a preinstalled trial of Office 2007, which needs to be activated with a 25-digit code. The onscreen message says to follow the hotlnk to a Microsoft site, where advice on obtaining the code can be found. However, when I reach the Microsoft site a message tells me that the page does not exist. I've also tried using a code on a sticker on the base of the laptop but that doesn't seem to be the right one.
I've run out of ideas and the number of times I can use Office 2007 is running down - any help would be much appreciated!
Thanks.I think the simple answer is that MS no longer offer 2007 trials and instead offer 2010 trials at [http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/try/try-office-2010-FX101868838.aspx?WT.mc_id=MiG_Products]

Microsoft Office 2007 Product Key??
I thought... The Microsoft Office 2007 was totally installed in this laptop. (I bought it 3 days ago.)
But once I click the Microsoft Office 2007 Word, it requires the product key?!!!
What do I need to do to use it without paying money?? It is gonna be so bad if I have to pay money.Rrrrrrr wrote:
Another +1 for Open Office. Not only is it FREE, it can use MS Office templates.
Another solution is MS has Office 2010 in beta form right now to use for free (I think its over in June though).
I prefer Open Office since its simpler and not as dolled up as MS Office is. Just my preference.
A word of warning though, the support for open source software is very limited. So, if you ever need help, good luck. I've recommended Linux and Open Office for many of my past clients and all were thrilled about it being free, but none were too happy when they needed help and found it lacking. Although I use Open Office, I can't belittle the value and usefulness of Micro$oft Office. It's a very developed suite of programs that is well worth its price. The sad part is that most people that use M$ Office only utilize about 10-15% of its potential (pretty much the word processing and table creation stuff) and as a result do not see its full value.
I DO NOT work for Best Buy. Whatever I post are just educated guesses or common sense. -
How do I update my Office 2010 KMS key?
I renewed our EES contract with Microsoft and in turn got a new Office 2010 key. Our current clients are saying I have 30 days to activate so I would like to update the KMS key on the server with the new one so they'll pick it up. I haven't found any solid
instructions anywhere so am posting a new question. How do I update the KMS key for Office 2010? What commands do I need to run?
Thanks in advance for any help. Thanks for the reply. That got me a little further. I updated my EES agreement this summer and got new keys, so thought maybe that was the issue with Office giving me the "This copy of Microsoft Office is not activated." when launching any Office
product. I installed and activated the new key now but am still getting the same error in Office. The error code it gives me is 0xc004f074. Looking into that error it looks like a KMS issue. These were activating fine last year and I haven't made any changes
except just updating the key today, but it was doing this before that.
Here is what was returned before updating the key:

Office 2010 Production Support
Did they ever release working support for the production release of Office/Outlook 2010 in either 32 bit or 64 bit for syncing? All the other 3rd party addins that we utilize where available when the product went production and prior to that. The only systems that we do not have on Office 2010 are the ones that require IPhone syncing, it is a pain to support to versions of Outlook and to keep publishing validation variance reports on these machines
Dave Sawyer wrote:
The answer remains the same as it was last week; Apple has not as of yet announced official support for Office 2010. When that support will come, no one here can say.
unfortunate that they can't stay in sync with the business curve, getting pressured to get the machines within compliance within 3 weeks, looks like we are are being forced back to Windows Mobile phones.
