Office 365 included call minutes

Bought Office 365 on 30 January with 60 minutes included calls to fixed lines as I am in Australia. Have made a few calls and the used time is correct in my Skype account. If I click on Office 365 settings link the remaining minutes is correct however it says until 28 March. This is not correct it should be until end of Feb as I bought on 30 Jan.

i have one skype account connected to my office 365 subscription and never work since first subscription day. in my office account i can see : 'Your Skype minutes are active. Visit your Skype account', in my skype account i can see :
Microsoft account
[e-mail removed for privacy and security]
Skype Name
n48_______
so i have one account for microsoft 365 and one skype account linked together and no active minutes...

    Hi,
Similarly, I do have active Office 365 with the 60 minutes (as it shows on my profile page) and I do have the latest windows softwares.  Yet, when I try calling it tells me I do not have an active subscription.
Any thoughts on what I may do?
    Thank you much.

  • Office 365 subscription - 60 minutes not included(...

    Hello,
I have purchased a Windows tablet which has Office 365 subscrption including skype 60 minutes.
    I live in Germany.
I could not see these free minutes under Services and Products in my Microsoft account.
The FAQ for the tablet says:
The basic prerequisite for using the Skype minutes included in your Office 365 Personal package is that your Office package has been activated (see Operating instructions). Once you have activated your Office package, proceed as follows:
    a) Go to http://office.microsoft.com/ and click or tap “My account” in the top-right area.
    b) On the following page, sign in with the Microsoft account that you linked to your SurfTab wintron tablet when setting it up (it is extremely important that you sign in with the same Microsoft account that is linked on the SurfTab!)
    c) An overview of your Microsoft account opens. In the “Services and products” section, under “Skype”, click or tap “Activate your Skype world minutes”.
    d) On the following page, you can choose whether to create a new Skype account or link an existing Skype account with your Microsoft account (in order to use the free 60 minutes on your existing account). Select the desired option and click or tap “Create Skype account” (to create a new account) or “Activate” (to link your existing Skype account).
But I dont have that option.!
    Please help!
    Thanks.

Have had the same problem for one year and no answer yet. I am able to use the credits on the computer but not on the android telephone or the Ipad which are the 2 items I have with me. Seems someone has not really thought this through. It should be that when you log in to your Skype then everything follows with it and you do not need to think about all this crap! I see that I am not alone and that feels good but really why can microsoft/Skype fix this- today I use Lync and that is one step to the side of Skype. Input export of contacts sucks! Mordern world - not so modern!

  • Office 365 subscription - 60 minutes included - It would be nice if i could use them

I am a Office 365 Home subscriber. For that, i was suposed to get 60 World minutes for Office 365.Unfortunately, despite it shows on my already linked Skype account that i have 60 minutes, when i try to make a call it says "You need Skype Credit or a Subscription".At this point I am very disapointed and I am starting to think this is a scam.I Will wait for a feedback before take legal action. Hope to solve this without Custumer Protection or Small Causes Court. Sorry for bad English, not my native.

It's definitely not a scam.  You will get a request for credit if you are dialing a number not covered by the subscription.  Check the numbers you are dialing with the plan coverage below: Call landlines and mobiles in: Canada, China, Guam, Hong Kong SAR, Puerto Rico, Singapore, Thailand, and United States. Call landlines only in: Andorra, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Brunei, Bulgaria, Chile, Colombia (excluding rural areas - LEX), Costa Rica, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Guadeloupe, Hungary, Iceland, Indonesia (Jakarta only), Republic of Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Morocco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, United Kingdom, and Venezuela. All subscription exclude special (like shared-cost), premium and non-geographic numbers.  SMS is not covered as well.

  • Office 365 world calling suddenly stops working.

I purchased Office 365 in January and have been using the 60 minutes per month for calls to landline phones in Australia. Last week a call suddenly dropped out. It was near the end of the month so I assumed I had used my 60 minute for April. However, when I tried to use skype today 6/5/2014 I still had insuffiecient credit. What's going on?

    Hi obzidian.
If this started to happen as a result of installing a software update, chances are that you didn't install it properly.
Verify/repair your disk first (not just permissions), as described here:
The Repair functions of Disk Utility: what's it all about?
After having fixed all filesystem issues, if any, reinstall the latest update (the one that appears to not have been installed properly). You may also need to reinstall the latest Combo Update for the type of machine and the version of Mac OS X you're using:
Mac OS X 10.4.7 Combo Update for Intel
Take a look at the following articles for guidelines on how to properly install system updates:
    Troubleshooting installation and software updates
    Installing software updates
Basically, you should verify/repair the startup disk before installing the update, and no applications should be running while installing it.

This is the first place I have even seen a way to post a question. I want my monet back and Microsoft can keep their office 365 xxxxxxxxxxxx If you aren't going to make it possible to yuse the promised mintes then don't nmake the promises. I don't even think about skype until Microsoft started promising it. Now I want it. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx how to use the minutes. How do I even make a call? What do I use for a telehone? Im really not interested in using a phone but I want the minites xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx about when it promised them. This is certainly the last time I subscribe to Office 365. I need Office but not badly enough to go through this agggravation when trying to use what was poromised. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Why can't I get it?

  • Office 365 account 60 minutes

I have an Office 365 home account, installed Oct. 2014 and am located in the UK. There are 3 users on the account (out of max. 5). One other user is using the monthly 60 minutes Skype credit. I am looking for it on my own account and it doesn't show. I understood 60 minutes was for each user.  Is this correct?  If so, how do I get the minutes.

I think the "free skype 60 minutes" with office 365 is a scam. This is the 3rd year running I have tried to use the so called free minutes but can't find a link to it.Who the hell needs skype anyway when you have better VOIP programs like facebook calling and WhatsApp!Microsoft is a dying breed and will throw any lie to the unsuspecting public to gain attention. Their windows phone is all but dead and buried. Soon their PCs and X box will go the same way.And that pathetic search engine bing! Bing is going bingo into the trash can.Anyway, I am soon discontinuing and deleting my skype account, and from next year, I shall be using chrome equivalents for word, powerpoint and excel.

Hello and welcome to the Skype Community.
Your account shows that all your calls to landlines in the Netherlands were charged to your Subscription. A call to a cellphone in Belgium was charged to your credit account because calls to cellphones in Belgium are not covered by your Subscription.

  • Activating Office 365 on Stream 8

    Hi
I have bought an Tablet Stream 8 which seems to be a pretty good product. I bought it directly from HP and there was no product key for Office 365 included. I have tried to activate but end up in the question Office Product key the whole time.
    Regards Aka57

    Dear Aka57 -
To activate Office 365 on Stream 8 you do not need a product key.  Instead you need to sign in with your Microsoft credentials (password and login for Microsoft account).
    1. Before you attempt activation, make sure that Windows 8.1 has been installed, and you are connected to the Internet.
    2. Click the Office icon on the Start screen.  A dialog box opens, Click Activate.
    3. Enter your Microsoft account login and password when prompted.
Note:  If you do not have a Microsoft account, close the Office 365 activation window and use your browser to go to Microsoft - Create an account. Once you have created, and then verified the account via email, begin the activation process again, using the steps in this post.
    4. When you have entered your login and password, click Sign in.
    5. Enter your Country and Language, then click Continue. A new dialog box opens.
    6. Click Install. Then click Run.
    7. If a dialog box appears that asks you "Do you want to allow the following program to make changes to this computer?"  click Yes.
    8. Once the installation is complete, an Office dialog box opens, Click Next, and then follow the remaining on-screen instructions.
You should be ready to go with Office 365.
    Sincerely,

  • Re: how to claim my 60 minutes which include by purchase office 365

I have a different, but related problem with claiming my office 365 minutes as described here. The link for "claim your minutes" takes me to my Microsoft account at office.com.  But that account has no knowledge of my Office 365 purchase or related account (which has a different user ID and password). So the page says, "Office isn't associated with this account." How can I tell Skype about my office 365 account? I haven't seen any way to link my Microsoft ID with my Office 365 ID (and why they required both in the first place is another frustration--a subject for another time). I'm completely puzzled, having purchased Office 365 business, why there appears to be no way for me to tell it about Skype or Skype about it?

I have same problem. Purchased office 365 home premium and have 60 free skype minutes. Linked to my skype account. But does not let me make calls!!!!! from Australia to India. everytime it asks me to buy skype credit.  Did you get a solution to your problem? Tried calling microsoft, calling skype but no matter where I call or chat online, the people who are at the other end toss me around from one to another. No solution but a utter waste of time. It is almost as if the free skype minutes is a hoax...not a real offer. make it so difficult people give up on redeeming but looks good when selling. Very frustrated....tried various times in the last 4 months to resolve this....
