Office 365 trial 64 bit

How does one download the Office 365 trial version in 64 bit?
After 2 hours of hassling I could NOT download a X64 version of the product so I cannot even install the damn thing. It seems that MS does everything in its power to scare the customer away.
Yours,

Hi,
I'm sorry if you have found any difficulty using our product, l'll try to help you resolve the problem.
If you want to use the trial version of Office 365, you can refer to this link:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/business/compare-office-365-for-business-plans-FX102918419.aspx?redir=0
Both Office 365 Small Business Premium and Office 365 Midsize Business provide a Free trial, but please understand we can to go through a Sign up process before we can download the software, since Office 365 is a set of services rather than a simple
Office software.
In my opinion, if you simply want a trial version of Office, you can also try Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2013, the process is much simpler:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/evalcenter/jj192782.aspx
You will also be asked for some information after signing in with your Microsoft Account, select "64-bit" under "What version of the software would you like to download", then click "Continue", select the language and download Office Professional Plus 2013.

  • Office 365 Trial Password forgotten

    Hi,
I have been asked by a school to set up Office 365 for them. They have already started the process by downloading the trial version with the ######.onmicrosoft.com domain,
They now have their own domain registered and want to activate this.
However, they have forgotten the password that was used with the initial download so I cant access the Office 365 to verify the new domain and activate this.  The DNS record has been updated already.
What's the best way to deal with this issue?

Were you the admin for the account...If its a specific user issue then you can achieve this by informing the admin and he can go ahead and reset the password from the portal itself but if you are the admin and you have forgot the password then you can contact
the office 365 support team which will generate a password for you and then you can be able to login to the o365 portal and buy licenses as well.

  • Problem Exporting Windows Live Mail 2012 To Outlook 2013 (Office 365 32 bit)

    Hi-
When I try to export my WLM to Outlook 2013, it hangs at the same record every time (record 55 of 2600+ -- that's just one folder, but the largest folder.) I probably have 10,000 emails in WLM.
It does not seem to be taking the emails from oldest to newest, so I cannot tell which email is tripping it up. I assume if it only made it to #55 of 10k, there are many more hang up points as well. I was exporting all folders. I was able to export a single,
very small folder successfully (30 emails.)
I tried exporting just the large folder by itself but it still hung at #55.
Any help in diagnosing/fixing would be greatly appreciated. WLM is a nightmare -- I have been paying the price ever since OE went away. I want to be rid of it once and for all.
    Thanks
    Brian

    Hi Brian,
First, I'd recommend you check if there are some large emails in the large folder. You can sort the emails by size to find those large emails. Then, just move these large emails to a subfolder and try exporting the rest emails into Outlook to see
    the result.
In addition, we can use the following method to import as many as possible emails in the large folder into your Outlook:
    1. In Windows Live Mail, create a subfolder under the large folder.
    2. Move half of emails from the large folder to the subfolder.
    3. Export the large folder and the subfolder separately into Outlook. This will help us determine which half part of the emails may hang the process.
    4. Repeat above steps for the problematic half part of emails.
Since this issue is also related to Windows Live Mail, you can also post your question in the forum for Windows Live Mail to see if we can get any good suggestions:

  • Unexplained UI XML errors after rollback to Office 2010 after Office 365

I installed Office 365 Trial after checking with Microsoft Tech Support to see if I needed to uninstall Office 2010 Professional first -was told it was unnecessary.
The Office 365 completely messed up the screen display in Outlook (changed all to test to CAPS and could not be altered) and many add-ins failed to appear and/or function - e.g. MailInfo, Mailwasher Pro, Kaspersky Internet Security modules, etc.
For that reason I uninstalled Office 365 (at the suggestion of Microsoft Tech Support).
On resuming Outlook 2010 I got multiple error notifications relating to loading of Custom UI XML components.
After trying unsuccessfully to determine what the errors were to correct, I contacted Microsoft Tech Support again and was advised to try a Repair of Office 2010.
This I did but with no change - errors still kept popping up.  So, again, contacted Microsoft Tech Support and they wanted me to pay for the corrections (go figure - they caused it!) and when I refused on principle they said my only option was to uninstall
    Office 2010 and re-install it.
This I did but it has made no difference - still getting the same errors!
HOW DO I GET OUTLOOK 2010 to function correctly without errors again?
    Examples of the errors include"
Error code 0x80004005 - Error loading Custom UI XML (Failed to find Office Control by ID; ID: mso:TabSendReceive
Error code 0x80004005 - Error loading Custom UI XML (Failed to find Office Control by ID; ID: mso:TabMail
Error code 0x80004005 - Error loading Custom UI XML (Unknown Office Control ID; mso:FileOpenUsingBackstage
Uncoded error: "Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot fulfill the messaging request.  Please run Microsoft Outlook and set it as the default mail client."  - THIS I DID (even though the tick was already
in the box setting Outlook as default) but no change!
Uncoded error: Custom UI Runtime Error in Microsoft Access Outlook Add-in for Data Collection and Publishing (I also have Business Contact Manager installed and that too was uninstalled and re-installed)
I'd be grateful with an constuctive advice that will permanently fixed then re-installed with no change to errors); "An error occurred while calling the callback: "Ribbon_GetDCVisible"
I'd be grateful for some help here!

    Hi,
Looks like your Office got completely messed up. You might need to use
Microsoft Fix It tool to completely remove any Office traces or residuals, then try again:
How to uninstall Office 2013 or Office 365:
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2739501/en-us
How to uninstall or remove Microsoft Office 2010 suites:
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2519420
Please save the Microsoft Fix It tool to your local disk first, then run it.
Also, if you have any add-ins intergrated with your Office 2010, I would suggest you to remove them and then reinstall all.
    Hope this helps.

    Hi,
Which Office 365 Home Premium editions did you install? 32bit or 64bit? Office 2013 doesn’t support running side-by-side installations of 64-bit and 32-bit versions of Office. For example, you can’t install Office 2010 32-bit side-by-side with Visio
2013 64-bit. This applies to both Windows Installer (MSI) and Click-to-Run installations of Office 2013. If you try to do this, you'll receive the error message and be prevented from continuing:

To the best of my knowledge, the only trial that is available is the full MSI installation.  However, it should work fine with Office 365 as long as you are installing the same version (32 or 64 bit) ass Office 365.

  • Installing Office 2010 64-bit Trial

    Hello,
I need to install a trial version of Office Profession Plus 2010 64-bit onto a server.  I mistakenly installed the 32-bit version of the trial, and now after uninstalling it (on the same day), the 64-bit version of the trial will not install.
I am getting an error saying "Error 25004: The product key you entered cannot be used on this machine".
If the 64-bit trial does install, and it integrates well with other 64-bit software in my environment, my company will purchase licenses.  Before purchasing those licenses though, I need to see it working in my development environment.  How
can I get the 64-bit version of the trial installed?

    Hi Brian,
If you are attempting to install Office 2010 Trial on a machine which has Microsoft Office 2010 Trial installed once, you will have this error.
This functionality is by design, only one Trial installation is permitted. You might want to try with another machine.

  • Exchange 2013 Office 365 Hybrid Cloud On-Premise Outlook Connection Problem

    Hi Everyone,
We are required to migrate FROM the cloud TO an on-premise Exchange 2013 server.  We set up a trial of Office365 and linked our test domain to that account.  The test domain mimics our current domain, but ends in .net instead of .org.
We set up a test Exchange 2013 server with a few database servers.  Internally, we can connect without issue (Outlook).  We mapped our test CAS to face the Internet, and can access what we need without issue.  We also set up the Hybrid
configuration on both the Exchange 2013 and Office365 servers.  We have validated that DirSync works, and migration can occur up to the cloud and back down to the on-premise server.
    Now, here is the issue:
We have our DNS records still pointing to Office365, so when we add an Office365 mailbox to Outlook (internal to the network or outside the network) we see absolutely no issues.  We migrated a mailbox today to our on-premise server, but upon doing so,
can no longer connect to, or add, that mailbox to Outlook.  When we put this integration in to effect for production, we want to be able to migrate mailboxes on-premise from the cloud, and we want to make sure users can still access their mailboxes.  This
also goes for distribution groups, conference rooms, etc.
I see that most suggestions say to change your DNS record to point to the on-premise Exchange server, which is great, but after doing so Office365 accounts experience the same issue as above.  We NEED to make sure that when we batch migrate, the users
DO NOT lose connectivity to their accounts.  We need both Office365 accounts and Exchange on-premise accounts are accessible internally and externally.  As an extra tid-bit, we HAVE configured Outlook Anywhere on Exchange 2013, but see no difference.
Any thoughts on this?  Office365 and Exchange 2013 see eachother and recognize that the hybrid environment is set up good, but it appears we are missing some configurations.  Currently, we have a CNAME record points our autodiscover to autodiscover.outlook.com.
Any help would be MUCH appreciated.  Thanks!
    Dan

    Hi,
Here is an article on Move mailboxes between on-premises and Exchange Online organizations in 2013 hybrid deployments, for your reference:
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj906432(v=exchg.150).aspx
I want to make sure OWA works well with the moved mailbox.
To use CNAME based autodiscover method, we need to have all domain names present in a SAN certificate.
With Exchange 2013 CU1, we now have the option of adding multiple SMTP domains to Exchange Federation/Hybrid configuration and we can specify which of these domains should act the "autodiscover" domain.
To configure an SMTP domain as the autodiscover domain, you can run following command:
    Set-HybridConfiguration -Domains "domain1.com, domain2.com, domain3.com", "autod:domain.com"

Is Share point server 2013 and Share pointer Designer 2013 available in 32bit version? If not, then how to use it in 32 bit machine by using any VMs?
    Thanks
    Senthil

    SharePoint Server 2013:
    http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-sharepoint-collaboration-software-FX103479517.aspx
    SharePoint Designer 2013:
Designer is used to develop SharePoint pages using HTML/CSS/JS as well as SharePoint Designer Workflows
    Yammer:
    https://about.yammer.com/
Windows Server is Windows, but the Server OS. SharePoint runs on top of supported Windows Servers editions (see http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc262485.aspx).
SharePoint Server is 64-bit only (trial:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/evalcenter/hh973397.aspx), although Designer does have a 32-bit edition (full product:
    http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35491).
You will need the capability to run 64bit VMs. Minimum recommended all-in-one VM for SharePoint is to allocate 24GB of RAM, but you can get away with as little as 12GB (I wouldn't go below that). Because of this, it generally rules out 32bit OSes as a virtual
    machine host.

  • I accidentally installed the wrong Trial (bit) version of Visio, now what?

    Hello,
So, by now you have probably guessed what my issue is. I'll try to be brief ...
I installed the 64-bit trial version of MS Visio Professional 2013 on my Vaio laptop, which incorporates a 64-bit processor. So, naturally I thought that I would have to install the 64-bit version of MS Visio onto my laptop. I filled out the registration
form and finally let the download take place. Keep in my mind, I'm downloading the wrong bit version (apparently). The download finished and I automatically started the set-up, or so I thought. The set-up had given me an error message notifying me that the
set-up process could not continue because of the fact that my currently installed MS Office 365 was a 32-bit version app.
I don't know why that mattered considering Visio doesn't even come bundled with Office 365, but I figured there has to be a logical reason, right?
    Anyway, back to point--
I then decided I would download and install the correct version of Visio for my 60-day trial. The page I was on had already refreshed or something had made it reset the dynamic content that had been displayed before, showing me the product key. So, I just
decided to re-submit another "registration" in order to download the correct version of Visio (x86)--so that happened. I was given yet another product key and the download finished. I clicked on the active download link available on my FF browser,
which essentially started the set-up. The same process as the first time; the files were extracted and this time all had seemed to be going fine for the installation. I was about three-fourths of the way done when the second error message was displayed and
the set-up "rolled back"--whatever that means. The error message said it couldn't continue because I had already tried to install a trial version or something of the sort previously.
Please keep in mind that I am basing this from memory and that the actual error messages were a bit more specific on what they had an issue with, but I think what I had written was more or less the gist of it. I know, I should have taken a screen-shot, but
that didn't occur to me till after the issue had arisen...
Anyway, I hope I can get some help on this as I'll be needing Visio for my database class.
My current community college doesn't offer downloads for off-site use of Visio, but does for Office 365, which is stupid in my mind cause Visio should just be included within the MS Office suite, IMO.
    Thank You for your time.
    - Bryan
    ***EDIT***
This was all as soon as I started the installation (the second time). Again, I was about three fourths the way done with the installation, and it never asked me for the product key before hand or anything. I just had the option to install and custom install.
Custom install redirected me to a three tabbed window where I was shown the different categories of Office and the save location as well as the info I registered with (name, etc.). I clicked "install now" and eventually the mentioned messages came
up. Once I clicked close, another Windows message popped up saying the bootstrap stopped working and that the program had stopped working.
I NEVER INSTALLED IT THE FIRST TIME. THE SECOND TIME IT FAILED.
    Help please?

    Hi,
This is most likely due to the trial software registry has been written to your machine during your first attempt. If you try to install it a second time, you'll get such an error message.
This is by design, only one trial installation is permitted on one machine. You may want to try Microsoft Visio Professional 2013 on another machine or purchase a retail version of Microsoft Visio Professional 2013.
Regarding the first error message you've received, we do not support 32-bit and 64-bit Office versions side-by-side natively on the same 64-bit Windows instance. This applies to both Windows Installer (MSI) and Click-to-Run installations of Office 2013.
If you try to do this, you'll receive an error message and be prevented from continuing.

    Thanks.

    Hi Rake,
You can compare your PC and another machine which is working, see if it is related to IE settings(e.g. SharePoint urls in trusted sites zone).
And you can try re-install the SharePoint Designer 2013 with same version and bit-version(32/64) on your PC like another machine, then check again.
