Office programs that'll work with 10.2?

I'm looking for some type of office program to use with my eMac with 10.2 currently installed, tired open office, but not supported i guess, maybe an older version but its not off the site anymore.
Know of any that might work?

You can get the freeware AbiWord, a word processor, which is equivalent to M$ Word http://www.abiword.com/

Mac OS 8.6 won't run on a MacBook Pro. If you are trying to sync with a Mac OS 8.6 machine, such software is really hard to find. Try http://www.apple.com/usergroups/ to find if someone still has software for those machines in your neighborhood.

what version Office is it that youre using?
current Office for Mac 11" works perfect for everyone.
If you need a free version, try Open Office.
Check with MS for compatability issues and resolution.

A contact and calander program that can sync with iTunes

Hi There Everydoby-
I was wondering if anybody know of a free calander and contact program that can sync with iTunes and my iPod touch. I do not have Microsoft Office, I currently use Open Office for my word and Excel documents. But I do not have a clalander or contact program that will sync with iTunes.
So if anybody can let me know if anybody is using or know's of what I can use that will work with iTunes, i'd really appriciate it.

You can try restoring the iPhone from a backup that is dated before the contacts were erased. This article: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1766 will walk you through restoring the iPhone from backup.
You can also Reset the Sync History from the iTunes preferences window, under Devices. This would force iTunes to prompt you again, asking if you want to merge or replace contacts. This article: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1692 provides more information.

The best word processor is Mellel. TextEdit, Nisus Writer, and Open/Libre/NeoOffice should also work OK.
MS Word for Mac does not do Arabic, but I am not sure about Excel and PowerPoint. If not, OpenOffice would be the only option.
iWork has bugs that probably make it unsuitable for RTL for most people.

In some cases, the incompatibility is due to the new HTML5 parser in Firefox 4. You could disable that and test whether the bank site works again.
(1) In a new tab, type or paste '''about:config''' in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
(2) In the filter box, type or paste '''html5''' and pause while the list is filtered
(3) Double-click '''html5.parser.enable''' to toggle it to false (it should turn bold).

I have an iPod Touch that can only run iOS 3.1.3. I have had Zinio & PressReader (both free Apps) installed on it for many years, and subscribe to a number of Magazines and Newspapers. I had backed up the iPod in September 2012. Today, I had to restore the iOS from the backup, but saw that Zinio and PressReader had not been installed. You aren't being left in any lurch. Your hardware is obsolete, and the software world has moved on. If you have a qualm about the matter then discuss it with the software's developers. Apple is not responsible for software they do not develop. This is technology, and you will just need to get used to it.

Looking for a WiFi printer that will work with my Nexus WiFi hotspot

On a recommendation, we have bought an Epson NX530 WiFi-enabled printer. It does not work with the WiFi hotspot feature of my Galaxy Nexus. The support tech at Epson suggested that we get a WiFi router rather than trying to use the Galaxy Nexus. I told her that I would rather trash the NX530 and get a printer that would work with my phone.
So we have 3 questions:
1) does anyone know how to make an Epson NX530 work via the Galaxy Nexus hotspot?
2) does anyone know of a different WiFi enabled printer that works with the Galaxy Nexus?
3) does anyone know if the Galaxy Nexus is inherently unable to work with any WiFi printer?

I have a Canon Pixima 3220 that functions great. I also have a higher end HP Envy D410a that also works great with printhand. The Canon is cheap at BJ's at $40 when I bought it. The HP is about $269 at Staples and other outlets. Good Luck
