Officejet 4620, not compatible with windows version installing driver 64bit
Hi (October 1, 2014, 9:15 am PST)
When I run OJ4620_Basci64_1315.exe I get the following error msg:
The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running.
Check your computer's system information to see whether you need an x86(32-bit) or
x64(64-bit) version of the program and then contact the software publisher.
My system is
Lenovo WIN 7 Premium
64-bit Operating system
Please advise if you have any idea how I can get the driver installed.

Latest version of firefox program is not compatible with windows 7
After I updated the latest version of mozilla firefox in my laptop which is a windows 7 program,it doesn't work anymore. Every time I open the firefox, the screen goes black and I can't see anything on the screen but black. in case this doesn't solve the issue or does not apply to your system, start firefox into safemode '''by pressing the shift key while the application is launching''' & disable hardware acceleration in the firefox ''menu ≡ > options > advanced > general'' (that setting will take a restart of the browser to take effect).

I've searched everywhere I can think of for a solution to this problem with no success. I see other people have reported similar issues and these have not yet been resolved.
I have installed Windows 7 32 bit on a new Mac Mini under Bootcamp. When I go to install the Bootcamp drivers in Windows, I get the message "the version of this file is not compatible with the version of windows you are running".
Other people have reported this issue when trying to install 3rd party software on a 64 bit version of windows but I'm simply trying to install the Bootcamp drivers on a 32 bit version of Windows.
Is it possible the Mac Mini needs a 64 bit version of Windows installed under Bootcamp? I haven't seen this requirement mentioned anywhere.

That's because the Late 2012 iMac and Mac mini only supports the 64-bit Windows 7 version, so the drivers you downloaded are designed to work with the 64-bit version and you can't install them on a 32-bit version. Install the 64-bit Windows 7 on your computer -

According to your description, you'd like to run the application in your colleague's computer.
I provided the EXE to a colleague who is also running 64-bit Windows7 Enterprise but receives the following error...
If you want to test the application, you could provide the whole Debug folder to colleague instead of the single exe.
"The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need an x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of the program, and then contact the software publisher."
Check if the collegue's computer is running 64-bit windows:
Enter Control Panel, click on System and Security.
Under this, you can view the system type. This will describe whether you have 32-bit or 64-bit.
You can also try compatiblity mode.
If the program is not compatible, then you may try to install and run the program in compatibility mode.
Use the following steps:
1) Right click on the Program
2) Click on Properties
3) Click on Compatibility tab
4) Select Run this program in compatibility mode and select Windows Vista or whatever operating system the program was running successfully.
And if you still have questions, I suggest you deploy the application to the Local Network with clickOnce, then your collegue can install the application from the network.

And also, you could recreate a new small application in your computer in Any CPU, then check if this small new application can work well in your colleague's computer. This can judge if the problem is caused by your application.

File not compatible with the version of windows
Already downloaded the file but when I install it says that the file is not compatible with the version of windows. But my PC is windows 7, 64bit

I downloaded Version 4 and installed it. At no point did it say that it was not compatible with the version of OS X that I am running (10.4.11) now that it is installed it will not open but it has already up graded from 3.6 so I have lost the lot. How can I download a version of 3.6 so that I can use it again or should I just pack up and use Safari as all I can get from your site is version 4. HELP!!!

What program do you run?
Please contact the software provider to confirm if this 32-bit program can run in 64-bit Windows.
As some programs can only run in specific version of Windows, please download the right version of software.
Most programs designed for the 32-bit version of Windows will work on the 64-bit version of Windows. Notable exceptions are many antivirus programs.
Device drivers designed for the 32-bit version of Windows don't work on computers running a 64-bit version of Windows too.

I installed version 3.6.13 and discovered that my favorite search engines (Bing and Startpage) were not compatible with this version. Can this incompatibility be rectified?

Well, I could cry about it more, but I guess not too many other people have had this problem, I did search a bit before posting my question , and I consider myself pretty competent about this kind of stuff..
Next task ... ... ... Is there any place a backup is stored in the profile folders that have maybe my 3.6.12 Extensions and Extensions settings????
I know the main folder is located here " %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\ "
but I am not currently on that particular PC to look at it to see if I can figure it out myself.

I have just installed logic pro Version 9.1.1 to my new mac book , purchased in 2012 December. I am now being told my version of logic is not compatible with my version of OS X. Help!!! What can I do. I tried upgrding the logic pro software but this didn't help. It still won't open.

From the App store or from the DVD boxed set?
If it was downloaded from the App store then it should already be v9.1.8... and if it isn't you need to call Apple to help you sort this out.
If it was originally from the DVD boxed set then you must update using software updates....
If software updates cannot find Logic to update it then you either have...
Renamed the Logic Pro app in which case rename it back to Logic Pro
or
The Logic Pro App is not in the applications folder which is where it needs to be to be updated... so move it back there. -
I want to add another management server to our existing SCOM environment. But whenever I run this setup on a new server I get stuck in the window for selecting the OperationsManager database. The database field stays blank and in the OpsMgrSetupWizard log
there are lines that the setup version is not compatible with the database version. But I use the same installer as when I installed the other management servers a year ago.
Maybe there is a newer setup installer? But I can't find it.
