Officejet 6500, How do I turn the printer from off line to on line?

I am stuck, cant get the printer to print because it say's it is offline. I know this cant be that difficult but I am not that smart with the computer stuff.

Go to Settings-Sounds-Text Tone and change to None. You're referring to the sound when posting a message to someone else, correct? The only issue is if you set to none, you will not hear the incoming either.

This is somewhat related to the turning off question. (Thanks for the answer to that one, by the way. )
For some reason, the screen on my Centro won't stay off. I'll hit the power button, and the screen will go blank, but I'll look at the phone a few minutes later, and the screen will turn on again. I'd like to keep the screen and touchscreen off until I need it to save the battery.
I'm using PowerMan to conserve power, if that has any bearing on this. Thanks!

You can put your iPhone into screen-lock mode (also called sleep mode). It is not off when in this mode: It can still receive calls and other data, but it will not respond to touches on the display, it will not display anything on the screen (except briefly when new data comes in, such as a phone call), and will use much less battery power.
You can place your iPhone into sleep mode by briefly pressing the power button on the top.
You can wake your iPhone from sleep mode by briefly pressing either the power button on the top of the home button just below the screen.
You can set your iPhone to automatically enter sleep mode after a short period of time within the Settings app.

Officejet 6500 Wireless; Copy a page, the printer prints a blank page

My HP Officejet 6500 Wireless is printing just fine when I print something from the Internet, but when I tried to copy a page today, the printer spits out a blank page. Until today this wasn't a problem. Have had the printer since March 2010 and this is first time with this problem.

Depending on your print settings the pages printed from the internet may be using the color inks (even to make black). Try the troubleshooting steps in this page. If black is not printing in the test page and the troubleshooting steps there do not resolve the issue see this page.

I have an HP Officejet 6500 E709N that I can't print from but only from my laptop

This printer used to work great. My desktop and laptop were both running Vista. After a while it stopped printing from the laptop, but continued to print from the desktop. I changed to Windows 7 for my laptop and it worked for a while then I couldn't consistently print from my laptop. The desktop (HP desktop) never has a problem. I recently got a new HP laptop with Windows 7 and the first couple weeks it printed fine, but now it still prints from the desktop but never directly prints from the laptop. The Printer window says "user intervention required" but I can find no problems. Again it ALWAYS prints from the desktop. All computers are connected wirelessly through a wireless router. Sometimes when I try to print from the laptop I will find it printed a day or two later. i don't know when it prints and it doesn't always do it. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall on both computers, I've tried the HP Print and Scan Doctor, and I've tried turning print sharing on and off all to no avail. Can someone help me?

You are receiving the error in the print queue status window. User Intervention on that screen can mean a number of things.
Are the cartridges in the printer HP genuine or third party cartridges? I have come across several posts that indicate the issue with this error on the computer was related to using third party cartridges as the problem went away after inserting genuine cartridges.
This post and this post indicate that faulty third party cartridges were at fault.
This post indicates that logging out of the computer and rebooting it resolved the issue.
You can also review this Microsoft Answer's post from a support engineer. Method 1 and Method 2 have already been performed, so start with method 3. The FixIt in method 4 is a different FixIt than what we have already tried.
Let me know what happens.

How do I turn my printer from 'offline' to 'online' and why does it keep going 'offline'?

Why does it keep saying my printer is 'offline' and there is no communication between computer and printer? How do I turn it 'online'? There doesn't seem to be an option to do so.

Sorry that you are having a problem with the printer being offline.
Try to perform a hard reset on the printer. Unplug the power cord from the back. Leave it out for 30 seconds and plug it back in.
Are you connected USB or wireless?

How do I turn the walking man off?

I'm doing many edits in in the arrange window while extremely zoomed in and don't want the "walking man" to be enabled.
I turn "him" off, but every time I hit play, "he" turns on again, which creates Logic to scroll.... which I do not want....
I can select an area to play from, turn him off and Logic will not scroll for one play, but when I stop and hit start again, "he" becomes enabled again...
I even tried locking the screenset while "he" is off, this doesn't work...
How do I turn this off?
By the way "auto scroll" or "scroll to selection" are not selected under view paramters....

Turn off "catch when sequencer starts" in your global preferences. This should solve the problem.
