OfficeJet 6500 prints blank fax page after every other fax page

How can I stop the printer from printing a blank page after every other incoming fax. If the fax is 5 pages, I get 10 (5 of which are blank). Tried HP support, and they can't fix this.

Sorry that you are experiencing this issue with printing blank pages. This can be a issue with the print head. You can try to clean the print head with a lint free cloth and water.
Another thing would be to perform a hard reset on the printer. Unplug the power cord from the back. Leave it out for 30 seconds and plug it back in.
See if you can print a self-test page or printer status report.

A full factory reset may not be required. Try downloading and running the print and scan doctor located here:

It can fix a lot on its own and if not give a better idea of what is going on.

According to the list, there is no driver for your printer included in OS X 10.7.
There are a couple of options:
1. Contact HP to see if they have a workaround.
2. If the model of printer is not listed but your printer is a PostScript printer or PCL Laser printer, try the "Generic PostScript" or "PCL Laser printer" drivers. Generic printer drivers may not let you access all the features of your printer.
I have not tried #2, but some people have had success.

HP OfficeJet Pro 8000 A809 printing line feed page after every job

I've searched and I have found this is a known issue - that there is supposed to be an update to fix this. I can't find this update anywhere for the HP Officejet Pro 8000 A809. It is connected to the computer via a USB cable. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver, changing the print heads, doing diagnostics on it, ..., and I still get the line feed page printing after every print job. Help!

I read your post about how a "line feed" page prints after each print job from your Officejet 8000, running Windows 7. I have some steps and questions for you to try to get started. Afterwards please get back to me with the results and we will go from there if needed.
1. Does the "line feed" page print after print jobs from all programs, or are you finding it prints when you print from somewhere specifically?
2. Try a Clean Boot on your PC, restart the PC, and try printing from Notepad to see if the line feed prints.
3. Print a Print Quality Page from the printer and examine it for any defects and to see if the line feed page still prints afterwards:

4. Click here and try download the "Updates" for this printer: HP Officejet Pro 8000 Printer - A809a
5. Create another User Account profile on your computer and try printing from there to see if the line feed page prints from another profile.

NEW Officejet 4620 prints blank pages!

We got a replacement for a not very old HP Officejet, a new right out of the box, Officejet 4620. It is networked with a Mac desktop and an older Macbook. I installed it yesterday using the ink cartridges it came with, got it networked with both computers, and it worked GREAT -- yesterday. Today it is only printing blank pages from the desktop! Argh! What's going on?

Officejet 6110xi printing blank pages from ADF

Officejet 6110 connected to iMac Mavericks. Last several years has periodically started "grinding" noise and wouldn't work, eventual message was "scanner failure". Solution was to turn off, wait, sometimes hours, and restart. Recently, no amount of restarting heped.In desperation I took off top of unit, cleaned all glass and mirrors etc, cleaned rod on which scanner runs, applied very light coat of oil on rod and reassembled. Voila! It worked!
BUT, eventually discovered that trying to use ADF for multipage copying or scanning produces only blanks. Self-test report seems OK, ADF detected. There seems to be a long delay on printing with ADF, and finally it pulls the page in but prints only a blank. Have tried resets # 3, and # 6 (not so far # 9) without help
Any ideas?

HP Officejet J4540 Prints Blank Pages

Yesterday, my J4540 all-in-one started printing blank pages. I just replaced the cartridge a couple of weeks ago, and it still has plenty of ink left. I'm using a USB connection, and Windows Vista. I tried doing a search for what the problem could be, but haven't found anything yet. I also tried to copy something with the printer, and it copied fine, so I don't believe it's the ink. No error messages come up, and when I ran the HP diagnostic, it said there was nothing wrong with the printer. I tried restarting the printer, leaving it off for a minute and then plugging it back in, but that didn't do anything. If anyone has any ideas, I would appreciate hearing them. Thank you.

HP officejet 9130 Prints Blank Pages

Hp 9130 is full on ink and everytime I go to print it prints as normal, but only with blank pages. I have checked the print heads and ink cartriges and there is not tape on them that would prevent ink from coming out. I do not believe it is a issue with the print driver I am using because the test pages also print out blank. Any possible solution would be greatly appreciated.

How do I print a disk-saved HP Officejet 6500 printer file?

This morning I did not have any ink in my black HP 920 ink cartridge - so I saved a print ready document as a printer file on my hard drive. I now have a new ink cartridge in my HP Officejet 6500 Wireless printer. How do I print the disk file - if there is any way to load it to the printer "documents" printing file in Windows 7 - What name does it need to have - how long can the name be and how do I load the file to print in "documents" or just plain print the document? Whatever help can be provided - I'll appreciate!

You could try creating 'paper' the size of the #12 envelope, and try that possibly.

How do I print using Ideapad K1 and HP Officejet 6500 printer

Hi folks
I have been struggling to configure the ideapad to print with my printer. I have the Ideapad K1 with Android Version 3.2.1. (I upgraded from 3.1 to 3.2.1). I have absolutely no idea on how to get this done and there does not seems to be any documentation around this. Any help will be appreciated. I might end up returning both the ideapads if I can't figure out how t print. I have a HP Officejet 6500 series printer (pretty new).

This is pretty lame that the Ideapad does not allow you to print. It is quite inexcusable that for printing we need to buy an application or be limited to 20 prints (I can't seem to set up the trial application of printershare).
I honestly think I am better off retunrning both the ideapads and looking for alternatives. I am sure the Galaxy tablet will not have this stupid issue.

Urgent-How to retain data in main page after returning from personalize pag

Hi,
i have a query,
Like if I have a region 'CertificationRN' when I run the page a link stating “Personalize Table: (CertificationRN)” appears above the Region
Now when I enter some data in this region, and then click on 'Personalize Table: (CertificationRN)’ link, personalize page appears.
On personalize page when clicked on “Return to Application’ it returns to the previous page, but the data which I had entered in the region is lost.
i.e. I get empty Textboxes as they where just after running the page.
What should I do to retain the data in the region?

Shilpa in that case personlization links should not be shown to business users, using profile option
1)Personalize Self-service Defn (FND_CUSTOM_OA_DEFINTION)
2)FND: Personalization Region Link Enabled
(FND_PERSONALIZATION_REGION_LINK_ENABLED)
, then where does the question comes of them clicking personalize link.

How do I "space after" every other line?

I am trying to set up a listing of names and dollars like this...

dollar amount

dollar amount

dollar amount
After the dollar amount I need to it have a space of 0.625, I am creating this list as text which I have converted from a table. Right now I have to just click on the line a and manual hit the "space After" option to put the 0.625 spacing in there. Is there a way to do this all at once because there will be at least 300 names every time I do this? So i need to be able to have the spacing on every other line...

I use a body text style with Space Before and have a Bullets_FirstLine style with space before. I have the Next Style of BulletsFirstLine as as Bullets, which does not have any Space Before. This means that I can automatically apply the styles to the bullets when either typing directly or, more frequenty by highlighting all the paragraphs to be bulleted and right clicking on BulletsFirstLine and selecting "Apply Style then Next Style". I cannot remember the exact wording - I don't have InDesign open at the moment.

Printer dispenses a blank page after every printing!

Suddenly my printer is dispensing a blank sheet of paper after almost every printing. Oddly, the only thing unusual I've done, relating to the hp printer, is downloading the HP Printer Assistant and the HP Printer and Scan Doctor! I've checked all relative settings and nothing seems out of the ordinary or different.

Another user recently posted what he/she tried to resolve this same issue. Perhaps it might work for you too;
I reset my top and bottom margins and test printed and scanned and it did not put out any blank sheets. - Source
If this doesn't resolve the issue, please try the following;
1. Touch the Windows key on the keyboard to get to the start screen, then without clicking anything type Devices and Printers, and tap or click the Devices and Printers icon.
2. Right click on the printer icon and click on printer properties.
3. Then click on Advance Tab, and click on the Separator Page tab.
4. A small windows open with the location of the file. Delete the path, click ok to save the settings.
